Jellal Kisaragi vs Shiki Akama
It was Shiki's first time in a large tournament like that, and he didn't even know much about the card game or enjoy it, his luck alone is what made him arrive in the Nationals but he honestly didn't care nor feel any stress, he just wanted to get to the top and be popular. Afterall, girls dig popular people so it was his chance to have his very own harem!
His opponent was Jellal Kisaragi, someone he didn't really know and it was to be expected, he only really played only against the white-haired stalker.
He was using a deck similar to that of the Stalker, but Shiki didn't really pay any attention to it, afterall its often that there is atleast one edgy counterpart to somethin in both anime and manga, so why not card games?
The first game went to Shiki, which he grabbed with immense trigger luck and rushing, plus a few new additions to his deck like Dancing Cutlass allowed him to have some more card draw, his opponent managed to achieve the full ride chain for Phantom Blaster Dragon, allowin him to ride his Avatar - Blaster Dark, but in the end he couldn't win this game.
The other two games however, were both in Jellal's favor, it was revenge for their first game, in both cases Shiki managed to have a nice field in the early to mid game, but the moment they reached grade 3, and the late game Jellal started to take full control of the game, Shiki's hand started droppin like crazy in attempts to guard his opponent's onslaught of edgy paladins, being forced to one pass Phantom Blaster Dragon's final Shadow Erosion, which on top of his act skill, Damned Charging Lance made the number too big for Shiki to guard with what little hand he had, which finished both game two and game three in Jellal's favor making him advance in the Nationals. Strangely, even through he didn't have much affection to the game and even throuh he lost, Shiki seemed to enjoy the match.
Result: Jellal Kisaragi advances.
