Title: [Nova Grappler] The beginnings of Viktor-ee!
Post by: AloisTrancy on November 04, 2014, 01:19:49 PM
Grade 0:
Mecha Battler, Runbhol x 1
Energy Girl x 4
Grapple Mania x 2
The Gong x 3
Drone Baron x 3
Red Lightning x 4

Grade 1:
Lady Cyclone x 4
Mecha Battler, Arasheed x 4
Clay-Doll Mechanic x 4
Death Army Guy x 3

Grade 2:
Mecha Battler, Zaxander x 4
Mecha Battler, Ganzock x 4
Street Bouncer x 2

Grade 3:
Mecha Battler, Viktor x 4
Muscle Shriek  x 4

STRIDES:
Meteorkaiser, Vikt Ten x 4
Meterokaiser, Viktplasma x 4

This deck, as one can see, is not entirely complete. However, the idea of the deck is to use Viktor and his skill to assist the stride units in multi rush power turns, attacking at least 4 times per turn. If the cost for stride can't be paid, I use the back up of Viktor's GB2 to keep the rush going until I can manage to pull off stride again. The main stride I plan to use is Viktplasma, who will make great use of Viktor's Generation Break skill, allowing me to stand two rearguard units in one turn for a total of 6 attacks!

The use of 6 stands and 6 draws is purely experimental, though the idea is to assist the rush as much as humanly possible while profiting off of the stand trigger's skills and returning them to the deck for more standing shenanigans. Especially Energy Girl, who will be great for standing rears. The draws are there just in case I can't build up shields fast enough, as that seems to be an issue with Novas and me. Street Bouncer is here for the same reason, and if I call him in front of Death Army Guy, I can use the stride skill to still pull off a decent attack that turn, rather than losing one entirely. THE NO HEAL IS EXPERIMENTAL DO NOT COMMENT ON IT PLEASE

Zaxander and Gazock are around to help me hit high numbers, even when they stand by themselves, so that I don't have to worry about not being able to touch the vanguard with my stands.

Arasheed will help me make sure I get Viktor as my grade 3, or is supposed to. He can also be the cost to stride. Clay doll is around to keep me from using up my CBs, though I doubt I will, and Death Army Guy is here for stride turns, where it's likely that I'll pull a G3 during my trigger checks. I'm considering using Death Army Girl, but I don't think she'll be as useful as Guy in this deck. Muscle Shriek acts as a good back up unit, in case I fail to draw Viktor, but mostly, he's fodder for Stride.

And that's the basics of the deck. Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

If using Immortal, I'm not sure is it useful but I'll try to use 4 Frog Masters and more Grade 3 to pitch for LB and Stride.

I don't intend to be focusing on Immortal Asura at all, honestly. He's just back up, nothing more. If I end up having to ride him, I won't be in a terrible situation.

Running more than 8 Grade 3 is unnecessary, so I'd rather not do it. I don't intend to stride every single turn, after all.

Made some more edits to my line up, added to the strategy.
