Why does everyone wanna hop on clans they didnt like from the start just to play a "cool" skill or "cute" art e.eBecause it's new and a lot of folks want to try the new stuff. For me though? I made a promise to a friend, who is too into SP, he tried to get me to join 'the dark side' to which I told him, once they have either an all female option or a fantastic female ace, THEN I'd join him and since that's happened I'm sticking to my promise. Also witches? They're soooo awesome :D

Because a clan is like a country, just because I dislike a part of the country doesn't mean I hate the WHOLE country. I don't really care for the revengers or their new clones the 'Abyss' peeps, but that doesn't mean I'll hate all of them, the witches for example, play completely different but still hold onto that kind of gothic theme while drawing upon the whole aspect of black magic and the more 'dark' side of witchcraft that so far we've only been shown by genesis that it's about fruits and animals. No but like if you gonna complain about the clan than why join themWhy does everyone wanna hop on clans they didnt like from the start just to play a "cool" skill or "cute" art e.eBecause it's new and a lot of folks want to try the new stuff. Exactly, but sometimes they need something new, sure some of the new archetypes are just the same 'core' mechanics with different nuances, but some of the others just borrow the clans name and do their own thing. Creativity should be more important. If every thing did 'exactly' what the others in their clan did, then why the heck would you want to try any of the new stuff? it'd just be recolored versions of the old stuff. There needs to be difference, nuances and various changes to keep the game fresh and interesting. Sure a clan can keep on doing what it does, at it's core, but it needs those differences in order to do it.That makes no sense clan should stick to what they doExactly, but sometimes they need something new, sure some of the new archetypes are just the same 'core' mechanics with different nuances, but some of the others just borrow the clans name and do their own thing. They really are amazing cards, but they don't do too much damage to the original Shadows or Musketeers. But even knowing this, I'd still run them.Totally, I mean there's always going to be clans that are good against other clans and the same could be said about archetypes.
Alright whatever i guess and Zac no afence but your one of those peopleOh c'mon don't try to start any fights now D:
Alright whatever i guess and Zac no afence but your one of those peopleDoesn't hurt wanting to try something new who knows you might stick to that clan as well o; but everyone has their different opinion
I guess it becomes kind of annoying though, in a sense that more than 50% of the players you'll be fighting are going to be using the same clan.Alright whatever i guess and Zac no afence but your one of those peopleDoesn't hurt wanting to try something new who knows you might stick to that clan as well o; but everyone has their different opinion

Well that's just it though, for about a week or so, half if not the majority of the people on there will be playing that clan or clans, some more than others, like for example, right now I'm seeing more people trying out the new DP legion/archetype than the NN one. It'll change though overtime since they just want to see if they are fond of it or not eventually only a few will continue to use and the rest will go back doing their own thingI guess it becomes kind of annoying though, in a sense that more than 50% of the players you'll be fighting are going to be using the same clan.Alright whatever i guess and Zac no afence but your one of those peopleDoesn't hurt wanting to try something new who knows you might stick to that clan as well o; but everyone has their different opinion

So the witches main thing, for now anyways, seems to be all about screwing over your opponent's rg's to replace them with somewhat useless (depends) grade 0 triggers. I think of which is nice against other legion decks in a sense that, unless they have a mechanic to instantly 'return' them to the discard pile it removes them, for the most part, of being able to just return four triggers to their deck. For now we just have to wait for the next episode which is in about 2 days from now
From what I've heard it's gonna be a two parter. So the witches main thing, for now anyways, seems to be all about screwing over your opponent's rg's to replace them with somewhat useless (depends) grade 0 triggers. Honestly when new cards come out, I try to restrain myself abit sometimes because it gets boring for other people if they expect the same new deck(s) to be played against them. After a while, when the hype has died down is usually when i'll try the new cards. I do break restraint though if I'm really excited to try some cards. When new cards come out that I personally want to try, I try to just test it with my friends and stuff and then generally watch a bunch of fights with them, just to see how others handle the new cards and hopefully pick up new ideas.
Huh, I never thought of that before. Holy mother of quoting. Seriously, I fail to see the problem in trying something new if you see it as fun??I do like trying new things, but when it comes to new cards, I prefer waiting, so if any friends wanna try their new decks, it won't be against possibly the same one.
I can understand why Kaze is (no offense) b***hurt about people suddenly becoming interested in shadow paladins because of these witches, but I wanna understand this. Why should they not do something they wanna do for the sake of another person??
I'll try the witches when they come out. I think the mechanic is quite interesting. It is, though I wonder if that's all they'll have, I'm expecting some SP card mechanics to sneak in, like a retiring unit and maybe a superior calling unit, something along those lines, I just hope that Ratie isn't the first to bite the dust as that'd mean less support for these interesting cards.
Well if Ratie did lose, witches could still have further support if Misaki can't capture her.I'll try the witches when they come out. True, I just hope they aren't pigeonholed into being supported only through EB's.Well if Ratie did lose, witches could still have further support if Misaki can't capture her.I'll try the witches when they come out. Ratie could then have revenge after that.
The shadow paladin witches are very interesting. I'm actually interested to see what they will do to a unprepared deck. Why magus, they'll 'bewitch' it of course, muahahaha!
hm that new witch archetype truly seems interesting and terrifying at the same time. They are probably the worst match up for Aqua force since Aqua force is quite relying on those G2 rgsto be honest with aqua force well mine i tend to have fields of lets say my set up is like this (usually is)
Well, even so, the Shadow Paladin witches don't target only g2's to replace. Fiana targets any rear and replaces them with g0's. So even if you don't make use of g2's in AQf but g3's like diamantes...Aqua Force would still be in a tight spot. Just like it is against retiring clans.that's true it may ruin my field but it wont ruin my ability to guard lol.

Yeah ill admit i get in tight spots vs sp/kagero/narukami, etc but i still win about 75% of those cfs cause of diamantes and tidal assault by itself can enable 4th atks for tetra , Maelstrom RWell, even so, the Shadow Paladin witches don't target only g2's to replace. That's true indeed. But, if they replace your key units [the ones that allow you multiple attacks] you'll have to retire those to call others in order to attack at full power, which will result in decreasing your hand, thus your shield. AqF is a bad match for SP witches, just like it is for retiring clans. But, they can still beat them of course.

But, if they replace your key units [the ones that allow you multiple attacks] you'll have to retire those to call others in order to attack at full power, which will result in decreasing your hand, thus your shield. AqF is a bad match for SP witches, just like it is for retiring clans. But, they can still beat them of course.
Well if you are an experienced fighter and know the clan you're using and all,it's easy to make sure you keep at least 1 copy of certain key cards, or at least you know how to counter the opponent even if you're still in a tight spot. Good AqF players can still win Kagero/Narukami etc if they know how to play
Update fellows! Today's card of the day (COTD), is Precious Stone Witch, Derna!(http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140519021349/cardfight/images/thumb/3/39/EB11-014-R_%28Sample%29.jpg/280px-EB11-014-R_%28Sample%29.jpg)[AUTO]:[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (RC), if you have a vanguard with "Witch" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's occupied (RC), your opponent chooses one grade 0 card from his or her drop zone, and call it to that (RC).
I for one am elated! I cannot wait to see if they'll keep revealing them, I'm giddy with anticipation! The only thing I find a slight drawback, is the fact your opponent get's to choose what grade 0 comes out.

lol this is just like judgebau revenger xD and we need to call grade 0 :( that will be badHmm this card full potential hasn't been shown yet. It'll be interesting to see what it can do for the archtype.

Yeah, really liking this Starter's combo with the Stand triggers. Now we just need a way to kill off the Stand Triggers in exchange for something, and we're golden.Yeah and they could also bring back cat butler and Lizard soldier conroe
As for the Grade 1 that was previously revealed...I think people are overlooking an important aspect of your opponent choosing the Grade 0: They can select a send-to-soul unit. Using this, they can mitigate the self-minus that you inevitably have to take. Not to mention, all the Stand Triggers we've been getting lately with good skills.
Which would be pretty useless in an SP deck... With the clan restriction of Cat Butler... :/ but otherwise, nice...Yeah, really liking this Starter's combo with the Stand triggers. I still think the opponent being able to choose is a lil bs, you basically have to time this so they don't have that/those grade 0's in their discard pile. The other perfect time to use her, would be the turn 'after' they guarded with a QW.Which would be pretty useless in an SP deck... Actually, they're not talking about the starter. They're talking about the G1 7k that can switch your opponents card with a G0, A.K.A. Precious Stone Witch, Derna.
This is effectively a retire against a developed field, with the added bonus of triggering powerful skills of your units, like that amazing kill 1 with same name to draw 2 skill of Fianna. When that's costed at Soulblast, in a deck with obvious access to Soul generation, and not even requiring your vanguard to be in Legion...yeah, I think letting your opponent is fair.I still think the opponent being able to choose is a lil bs, you basically have to time this so they don't have that/those grade 0's in their discard pile. wow totally cool -5000 for each grade 0 xD then our opponents shouldn't use any grade 0 :p
Once again Bushiroad, you have managed to make me like Witches even more. And another one for the witches!
I've been playing against them in-game sometimes and even tho they are mostly not revealed yet they are already really strong.Cept they CB and SB too much for them, so they have to plan out everything, from what I've seen it either does very well or very poorly.
