Now that Bushiroad is updating the limited list and that they are only applied to tournaments, I want to know do you follow the limited list in casual CF? Some rules like the hybrid decks and conroe people absolutely do not want to play against them since they are banned. Do you care if someone plays a hybrid deck or use Barcal or Conroe as their starter?
This question came into mind after hearing that Commander Laurel is being limited to 1x copy as soon as G Extra Booster Cosmic Roar is released.

I know it already :D

I'm not sure why people wouldn't.
I most certainly would not wish to make my game worse for my opponent with Conroe or them making it worse for me with it.

So both you @Kouji and @Cherry wouldn't mind if let's say I used 4 copies of Laurel in my new DP deck? or someone else ran the old Thing Saver Abyss deck as an example

Looks I'm sure that players in cfa won't change their laurel amount because of new generation cards :/ i don't know what to do.... if we had a warning system in cfa that would be much better to stop them.. or a rule book in cfa to know the rules.... of just like in deck building we could only put four amounts of cards right? then even if we click the fifth won't come.... just like that we need to do to other cards only 1/2 amounts of cards can be put.... ._.

Remember though the ban list and limiting list only applies to tournament play. So using the same example in just playing for fun/casual in cfa would you get salty and immediately rage quit once you found out I did not follow the limited list?
In my opinion I do not care what my opponent uses as long as they play by the rules and they don't show bad sportsmanship

Eh I would mind if you ran 4 Laurels o.o...
Or Saver/Abyss.
Pretty sure others would xD

I think most people treat the limited list like it is on Yugioh where no one is allowed to use certain cards.
-
If my opponent wants to play four copies of Laurel, that's fine. They're just not going to be playing against me. Same with Conroe. Could care less about Barcgal, even in Thing Saver, though.
It's not a matter of salt. It's more of: Bushi finally restricted these things for a reason. Thing Abyss dominated far too consistently and became a huge problem, so it was dealt with. Some can find challenge in facing such a monster and not mind it, others however, shouldn't feel obligated to entertain it from the off-chance of seeming salty and ragequitting.
-
when I say salt I mean my opponent making a big deal out of it and then rage quitting leaving a bad impression with their last opponent

In this meta game I'm 50 50 about it only because we have extreme format and the limit list is legaly not followed under that format. Problem is most people are going to want to practice games under the restriction list ether for tournament or fairness reasons. So I truly would respect and follow the restriction list whenever possible.

I follow the list to see how well i would do in a tournament if i joined and because most teams follow it in team battles.

In all seriousness running 4x Laurel is not the best idea in any DP deck so I'm sure most people wouldn't be fazed by it. The only recent addition that will affect the current game is the limitation on Calamity Tower Wyvern

The thing about 4x Laurel is that even if it's excessive, it ensures they'll always have a Laurel in the ready. Even if you retire one, another's right there. This is especially helpful from Narukami's permanent bind-retiring.
1 Laurel ensures that they can't have just 2 to lean back on and can't have 3 to be right under a cloggy number to stay safe. It makes it so they can't rely on it for combos and makes them cry when Laurel is the only Grade 1 they have available Turn 1.

4 Laurels is too much to begin with lol. Takes up room for good g1's xD
But that's just me. In my Metalborgs , 3 was always just right when I used it but everyone has there own personal preferences with that

Well I would mind if my opponent use banned cards, but I'll probably just let them use it lol.
