Title: Online tournaments suggestions
Post by: Doctor Who on May 17, 2014, 06:21:26 PM
Bann me, disqualify me but I'm going to say straight: the organizers are no better than the ones that organized NYC team leagues (those were awful.) First of all, allowing Link Joker. I don't have anything against Halcium but I do have a lot against CBD, Glendios and all cards that are alike them In YGO tournaments FTK, OTK and any instant win deck were banned for quite understandable reasons. Here, no, you are smarter, let's allow creepy decks take over. Secondly, declaring your clan and duo claning. I can just hand out my decklist along with ways to counter it and that will be perfect. Jokes aside, it's up to me what clan I am going to use and if I am duo claning or quadro claning it's my bussiness not yours.

Well then, don't enter tournaments and sit here complaining about Link Joker, which aren't too hard to beat :/

Give me your replays when you beat up CBD. And apparently someone didn't read the full post.

Firstly, I really don't see your problem with Link Joker since it's incredibly easy to beat (i agree, it's easier when you can unlock, but even without it, it's easy).
Secondly, don't join tournaments whose rules you don't like. It's really as simple as that.
Last but not least, the claning. You are aware -why- you need to tell someone what clan(s) are you using, right? It's to prevent deck swapping in the middle of the tournament. We know what we're talking about here. There have been all kinds of situations both here and on CFC, so we're pretty much set with the tournaments. However, i get a lot of "Ehmergerd u so stoopid, y u no haz ranking and dis and dis, hurrdurr". (This isn't meant for you btw) Anyone can host almost anything. Be it some kind of a league, a ranking system, a Clan war, be my guest. Everything like that has already been used on CFC, Ive been a part of all those things, so do host it if you will (don't ask me to host it, being a moderator doesn't make me the person wholl host anything).
And i don't see why would you get banned for something like this. e.e You just said what you felt was right to say. ^^'

Oh, I read the whole post, and yes, I have beaten up CBD on multiple occasions. Your point is?
I would provide replays for your viewing pleasure, but I don't tend to save them for things like this. I could easily go and do it if you wanted, though :3

There's so many people underestimating LJ (not saying they're OP though)

The point is that people are complaining about CBD and stuff like that. I don't play irl and I don't intend too. I cf mostly for fun. That's what you should keep in mind when hosting a tournament.

Tournaments are meant to be a semi-competitive atmosphere, dear. You're here, complaining about them because they ruin your fun? You just have to learn to live with it, like all bad things in life :/

Semi-competitive?. You just made my day, dear. It' either competitive or not. There is no middle ground. If you put up a sleeve or something equal as value you bet there is going to be LJ and all crappy stuff floating arround.

*cough*
You really don't want to argue with me, deary. People don't like it when I argue, and it seems that everyone else is against you, too :3
I've been playing this game for a long, long time, I know how tournaments work. I can probably get backup on that too.

Same with me deary. I don't like to argue myself. As everyone being against me. Go out, deary, browse blogs and forums and you will see who is backing who. I know it's illegal to promote forums on other forums but if will come that I will do it. Besides, if I truly want to prove a point,  I will. I just try to resolve matters peacefully.
And if you will push me too hard I will play CBD, Glendios and with the new LJ trial deck will come cheap locking and  I hope you will react then. You know what they say: Demons run when a good man goes to war.

The best thing about you is that you like Doctor Who imo (I'm too much of a nut for that show)
The thing is, it's you who's actually carrying on the argument. Maybe you should just stop being so negative about Link Joker, I dunno.
Anyway, you've drained my will enough for this argument, I'm not going to waste my time anymore~
