Title: (GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop
Post by: Hope on September 22, 2015, 10:39:20 PM
(http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w298/Cashe132/City_Slums_by_Livio_by_Livio27.jpg)
All part of the plan.

Field Status
Formerly a popular card shop and the center of Umano's Vanguard scene.
Was used as a faction base during the Umano Turf War.
Now mostly abandoned.
The property was purchased by Isabella Hope.

What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

The stench was as bad as ever, but if this plan were to work, Isabella would just have to stop being a diva and get right to work. She changed out of her school uniform into much comfortable and protective work clothes. Since the Umano Restoration Project would require a much more stable Umano community to start off with, it wouldn't hurt to bring much more attention to Umano by giving its own operational  Card Shop, a place for more honest fights.

From the looks of it, this place could already work as a shop for the local residents. Isabella already has large shipments of card packs and starter decks arriving. The aesthetics such as posters would have to wait. The first order of business today would be to fix the pipelines and stop leaks and re-wire some of the electrical outlets in order to put the building in an operational state. Isabella brought workers for that today as well as two to help her with the general cleaning of the area. Since she cleared the place out of thugs here yesterday, the local area has been much more peaceful and since this place was near the outskirts of Umano, it could easily attract outsiders.

Rebuilding Umano like a puzzle, starting from the corners then going in.

The workers which she hired carried truck loads of convenient cleaning materials as well as a hose to wash the filth off this place from top to bottom. There were those dispatched to fix the building's plumbing while the electricity in the building was restored by another unit. Isabella's group started with hosing the place down, bringing all the dirt and moss out, getting the place ready for a repaint, gathering small debris and cleaning up the broken glass. To make the Card Shop itself more attractive, it wasn't just the shop that needed work, but the neighboring buildings.

It looked like a lot of work, but she kept at it.

While wandering around, trying to better understand where everything in the city was, Darren stumbled upon the Umano area. He hadn't been around long enough to understand what was happening here, but when he saw something being constructed, he got curious. He walked closed to it, looking upward as he noticed that the first thing being built looked to be a card shop. This first of all things? Darren thought as he looked at it with his hands in his pockets. People here really do love card games. Not that its a bad thing.

Isabella just finished picking up all the debris from the restroom area as long as the back of the shop where evrything would be stored. She was carrying two big black bags of trash. The shop itself now had clean tables and chairs. The shock bracelets had ben removed from the systems. Moss had been lsrgely cleaned and the pipelines had been fixed. There was apparently running electricity within this area now, but she had yet to check on it. The small lanterns that her workers brought have been providing her light. The engineers and plumbers left after finishing their job. Only three were left working with Isabella to clean the store over at the back. The area in front of the main counter no looked clean, but not fully restored. She catches someone. A person?

"Um hello??" she calls out, slowly walking with two giant bags of trash in hand.

As much as he wanted to get a closer look, Darren was no fool. He knew that he couldn't go any closer, otherwise he might hit his head and end up in a doctor's bed like Noel was earlier. He continued to look from where he was. That was when he heard someone call out to him. He looked forward and saw someone walking up to him. He didn't recognize her at first, waving his hand as he said, "Hello there! I was just curious what's happening here!"

Lights being turned on would be good here... If they even work. Isabella quickly placed the bags down and headed for the light switches, flipping each one open, causing the shop to glimmer up... With a few non-working or weak lights. It was far better than using the lanterns though. She was at least able to recognize who it waz now that walked in and responded to her call.

"Darobo?" she thought that it was unusual for him to be here, heck it would be unusual for anyone to be here, "um hello, what brings you here, Also is Noel ok?"

Darren was confused to see Hana here of all people. He smiled lightly as he walked up to her now that he could see there was no danger. "Oh, I just came by trying to know what else was around town. I haven't been to a lot of places yet. Just the Card Shop, the park, school and here now.

He laughed a little until he realized she also asked about Noel. He didn't know whether to smile or frown from the fact that he was so unsure on the straight answer. "She was up and moving by the time I left," he said to her, explaining as best as he could. "When I went to Card Capital, she came soon after to get more Jewel Knights. Seems she's having a hard time with that. I asked her about what happened and even she wasn't sure. She said it has happened before though."

"Oh right you're new, so touring around? This area really isn't the kind for that just yet."

She didn't really say much more about Noel, just thought it. Since she was up and moving and going to Card Shops, there was really no reason for worrying, otherwise it would be prying far too much at this point. She carried the bags to the entrance and quickly threw them next to the truck outside. While walking back into the store, she removed her gloves. Now was probably a good time to finish cleaning for the day. Plastering roof and wallks should probably be the next order of business. The floor needs tiles..

"Yeah I'm just here... Um... Cleaning."

The fact that she said yet was fairly strange. He followed her as she was moving around as he said, "Are you planning to do something with this place? With all you said about yourself before, its almost a surprise you're out here like this." He was starting to wonder if she needed some kind of help. It would not really be a problem for him to do so, but she also looked like she was stopping for the day. Perhaps another time.

"I'm trying to make this into an operational card shop to get money help out the community. Also to attract people to this town."

From this shop, a piece of the city would be restored, leading to another, and another. That would go until Umano becomes as lively and vibrant as Hoshiko and its famous shopping district. She waved at the workers over at the back of the store in order to signal them that she will be done for today as well as a "thanks."

She walked over to Darobo and pulled up a chair to sit. These had just been sanitized, but the shop is all finished, these will probably be replaced for newer ones.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop
Post by: Golden Sage NovaRaizer on September 23, 2015, 01:22:42 AM
Darren sat in the chair he was offered. He listened to all she said but was still a little confused. He understood a bit more though. "So this isn't connected to Hoshiko, its a different district altogether. That explains why it wasn't easy to find." Darren had a habit of getting into places he probably shouldn't. At least it didn't cause him trouble... this time.

Now that he had a moment to think, he remembered something he wanted to ask Hana about since earlier before. "By the way... you mentioned that War of Liberation more than once. I was kinda wondering what that was. Some of what you said went over my head. Why were some of the clans banned from the tournament? Its kind of a weird rule." The way he asked the question was a sign of how clueless he was.

Banned cards?

Weird. Isabella is positive that Neu directly interfered with the minds of the fighters all over the world in order to get the point across that the missing clans weren't legendary or sealed up.

"Erm they weren't banned. It is actually common knowledge that they were locked away."
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop
Post by: Golden Sage NovaRaizer on September 23, 2015, 01:50:54 AM
Darren blinked lightly at what she said. Locked away? Now that he was thinking, he remembered something about that he saw at a glance and some people at a shop in his hometown mentioning it. Not only that, but no one used the Royal Paladin, Shadow Paladin, Kagero, or Bermuda Triangle during that time. He thought it was because they were lacking support so people just dropped them for newer things.

"So that's what you meant..." He knocked his own head slightly for not knowing. Not enough for it to hurt of course, just to get the point of how empty headed he was at times. "Sorry, that happens to me a lot. I miss details because I am in my own mind a lot. So I guess since you use Bermuda Triangle now, you were a part of bringing them back, huh?"

"Somewhat."

"I'm the one that got the people who went ahead to unseal the clans to unseal the clans?.. Something like that." Easiest way to put it without mentioning her weird starlight stalking powers.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop
Post by: Golden Sage NovaRaizer on September 23, 2015, 02:04:12 AM
"I guess that makes sense," Darren said lightly, remembering her talking about how important her family was. She would have the resources to gather people in that way so nothing about it sounded odd at all. He then blinked lightly as a thought occurredNoel's clan was one of the sealed ones. Does that mean its doing something to her?.

Trying not to think about that, he looked up at the thought of what that must have been like. "Unsealing clans sounds like a real adventure, whatever had to be done for it. I wonder if I could have helped if I was around at that time. Probably not..."
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop
Post by: Hope on September 23, 2015, 02:18:28 AM
"I mean its fun to be heroic and save clans, but the problem was that I couldn't be heroic with the clan I wanted to be heroic with since its the one that I needed to save. It was pretty sad actually." She shrugged at the thought.

Well, it really was. A year ago, Isabella was basically a depressed mess. Though, it might actually still be the same now. Thinking about it, she just has someone supporting her and keeping her from falling now, but that's the point. Plus, idols aren't supposed to be super duper sad, they have to make everyone happy. Now if only the rest of the Bermuda Triangle other than Reit actually talked to her, that would be nice. Broken record Reit, always a pleasure to speak to.... ehhh not really.

"Well, even if a hero can't be at their best, they still have to do what they can. That's what you did, wasn't it? That already says a lot." Since Darren read a lot of comics, he looked up to the heroes in them. He knew different kinds as well and he did want to be one. He moved his hand out lightly and said, "And if anything like that happens again, you have me to support you. A lot of other friends too. After all, that is what heroes like the Dimension Police do, isn't it?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Umano Abandoned Card Shop

"The real heroes are the one who don't proclaim themselves as heroes, but just go along and do what's necessary I think." So she spouts some random line.

This idea was brought to you by Yukino. I'm the Chosen Sword, the hero! Then neglects her little sister in the process which in turn breaks about multiple bonds. Why isn't Yukino's avatar Gancelot again... MMMM SOLITARY? Need another day of bonding where she decides to leave the stoic and wannabe tough kind of expression to just be an actual family member... boy... In my dreams.

Darren thought about what she said for a moment, then chuckled a little and said, "I guess you've got a point there. Heroes don't really call themselves that. They just do the right thing." The idea of it made him feel like he had a lot to learn still. "Still, I mean what I said. If anything comes up, I'll help you out as much as I can." He gave her a reassuring smile to let her know he really did mean what he was saying.

Prepping for the camping trip tomorrow still had to be done. Haruka-kun was spending the night with Yukino tonight instead of her and that kind of pulled a little Isabella's heart. The thought of it made her feel kind of uncanny, maybe it was a little of the leech called of jealousy getting into her mind. She shook her head as she stood up from the table, wanting to go to sleep as a way to escape the strange feeling. When she stood up, gravity felt as if it doubled, and her head began to feel a little light.

Miyuki and Haruka-kun are really turning me into a mess...
Guh, love sucks.

She still stood tall nonetheless and turned over to Darren, "You still have to prepare for the trip tomorrow don't you? I kind of need some rest... and a bath. This place smelled really bad when I got here, took so many cans of air freshener! Phew!!"

Darren stood up after her and couldn't help but laugh a little at her comment. Imagining what it must have been like before he arrived was something he didn't want to do but what she said made it difficult not to picture. "Right, the trip is tomorrow," he said as he stretched his body out a bit. He hadn't even noticed that they had been talking for quite some time.

He looked at her as a thought crossed his mind. "Will you be okay getting home like this? I guess you can just have someone drive you so it might be a dumb question, but it never hurts to be sure." He was definitely one who was concerned for his friends, not willing to just leave if there was a chance she might have to walk home from here.

"Yeah I'll be fine, I mean this building used to be a gang base until I beat them all up and had them arrested." she wasn't lying. "Since this place is a long walk from home, I should probably.get someone to drive me." Isabella turned over to him and thought up the same question.

"How about you? Need a lift?"

Darren looked at her with shock at her words. She was able to do something like that? I guess you can't judge a book by its cover, he thought. Upon her offer, he thought about how far his home actually was from here. Thinking about it, he didn't actually know. The fumigating of his apartment should be done by now but getting there from here would be... a challenge.

"It would help me out if its not out of your way," he said to her. "Its an apartment building in the Residential Area. If its out of your way I can figure out a way there." The fact that he said figure out told the truth that he really didn't know where he was going.

"Well I guess I'll just call two drivers." There was Mr. Tokyo Drift, who would get both of them in their respective homes in no time, but that would put lives at risk so she opted for two drivers that she trusted drove safely, but quickly.

She pressed a button on her phone.

Two cars arrived in no time and Isabella walked towards one of them saying her destination to the driver through his opened window,  "Kiokuzu Town Penthouee please." Then she turned back to Darobo.

"Thanks for keeping me company for tonight. Just tell the other driver where you're headed and he'll get you there. Sorry for having to have us part here, but see ya tomorrow!" She winked and did some weeaboo standard idol pose with a peace sign except she wasn't exactly a weeb becauses he really is japanese. She sat in the car and it drifted off as she gave Darobo a goodbye wave.

Darren wouldn't have asked her to go as far as to call a second driver just for his sake but the speed at which she did it told her that she didn't have a choice in the matter. He gave a small laugh at the situation, smiling at her pose. Suddenly the 'idol' thing she mentioned came to his head. Must be a habit, though it wasn't a bad one.

"Yeah, I'll see ya tomorrow!" He called out as he waved her off. He stepped into the car as he felt a bit strange being in something like this. He wasn't used to it at all. "Uh... What was it called... This address..." he said as he handed the driver the slip of paper that had his home address on it. He hadn't really memorized it so he couldn't exactly say it, but as soon as it was given, he was off.

Neo had kept to himself since the festival. He didnt want people to know about the power he had obtained.

"I feel so much stronger.." Neo said to himself

He made his way to the Abandoned Card Shop and saw a few fighters lurking around. He walked up to them and asked them "Are You Strong?"

Neo challeged them to a cardfight with a Vanguard field appearing before himself and the fighters.

"Accept this strength!" Neo said after defeating each of the fighters.

It was clear Neo wasnt himself anymore. He now had full control of his new power.

"This power.. Its amazing" He said

The seven foot tall man ran across the slums, bringing a shaking ground along with him. He had been fighting through and against many of his friends and acquaintances throughout the day, but he wasn't tired just yet. His heavy muscular build enabled him to keep on through many of the fights. It was not big deal to him. His stamina was near infinite, but his skills as a fighter were lacking, having only ever had experience fighting with other slum mates, he was weak when it came to game itself.

"I CAN FIGHT FOREVER.. BUT ALL THESE GAMES ARE SO CLOSE.. HOW FAR CAN I GO?" He fought a few more, nearly losing to them, but his heart kept him moving. He was a human fortress.

He sound found himself within an abandoned shop, taking shelter once again. On the corner of his eye he spotted a fighter, who's scent was stronger than the others. Not only that, but his strength was apparent. The level in which he was would most likely be Daisuke's end. The gap between the fighter who has gone past the slums and all over the world, and a man who was raised within the confines of his own home, never having left was what this situation boiled down to.

Nonetheless, he was a threat to Umano, Daisuke's home, so with heavy fear in his heart, he approached him. The seven food frame shook a little, stepping towards a battle that he knew he was likely to lose. "HE IS A THREAT, I MUST STOP HIM AND SAVE UMANO.. THEN I HAVE TO ALERT HIKARU OF THIS!!" He ran towards him and called him out.

"YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP HURTING OTHERS AT ONCE OR I SHALL END YOU MYSELF."

Neo noticed a stranger who was very tall approach him. Neo noticed the stranger yelling at Neo to stop what he was doing. Neo then turned around and replied "If you want to get in my way, then so be it"

The marks of reverse appeared under Neo's eyes and he made a Vanguard board appear in front of him and the stranger.

"Lets just see how strong you really are then. Shall we?" Neo said to the stranger.

It was strange to see a man of his physique tremble due to a man who was pretty much half his size, but he did. When it came to these fights, he didn't have nearly as much experience as the one who stood before him now and he was able to tell. As the platform appeared before him, he found that there was no way out now.

"JUST LIKE IN A NORMAL FIGHT, EVEN AS THE UNDERDOG I'LL JUST FIND THE OPENING FOR THE LUCKY SHOT.."

He placed his deck onto the panel, and placed his starter down, looking at his opponent and declaring his victory with confidence. This was a bluff, all part of the list of tricks that the slum dwellers would use to find an opening within their opponent's fighting styles.

"I'LL WIN THIS NO PROBLEM! I'M STRONGER THAN EVERYONE HERE. I SHALL DEFEND MY HOME, I SHALL DEFEND UMANO FROM THE SCUM THAT INVADES IT NOW. YOU ARE ONE OF THEM, THUS YOU ARE MY ENEMY AND I WILL CRUSH YOU UNDER MY FEET UNTIL YOU TAP OUT IN TEARS AND UTTER MY NAME. DAISUKE OSHIRO!"

Saber Reverse with the help of a double critical trigger put the finishing blow on the stranger Neo was fighting.

"Fall to the Reverse, accept the power you have been given" Neo said..

Neo then walked off while the stranger continued to be in pain within the dark aura.

He knew that this would be the outcome, but had to fight against it. He was able to breakride, his lucky shot, but even so, his opponents got over his paralyzing tricks like nothing. He kept them from standing, but then his opponent just locked them away and his rearguards were retired as a result. "I FAILED..."

The energy seeped into him and fortified him, his hair raised up and the fortress of a man gained offensive power that he lacked. With an infinite fighting stamina and an infinite power source, he had become the ultimate fighter. Images began to flash in his mind of how to slums were reversed, beginning with the white haired fellow whom he met in the hospital.

"..."

Then ending with Hikaru finishing the job.

"..."

He grabbed his deck in his hand, the red aura seeping out of his finger tips. The anger of betrayal, the regret of his own weakness ran through him. His concern for others was what led him to this, and now he wished of nothing but to throw it away. To go on a blind path of destruction, tearing down anyone in sight with no fear. This new power gave if to him. The power to Dominate.

"HAHAHA LET'S DESTROY THEM ALL... DAUNTLESS DOMINATE DRAGON "REVERSE" !"

After being ignored in his own home, Seifer had just... Left. He hadn't been seen by anyone leaving so it's whatever. Fits in better with what he felt like he needed to do anyway. Making his way to Umano from his house, he was greeted by group after group, wave after wave of Reverse fighters, beating each of them down in Vanguard. He was hardly breaking a sweat and yet...

"You really need to be more careful. You're s-" "Just because I can actually see and hear you guys now doesn't mean a whole lot has really changed. Yes. I'm still half reversed, I know that. But I've got to do my part to." the male spoke with a ghostly figure walking with him. Several people would recognize it as Blaster Dark Revenger... If they had the ability to see it at all. It was also a completely different Blaster Dark from Yukino's, almost like from a different dimension or something, and yet held the same name of Yunos.

"Ease up just a little bit. I know you're trying to get to the bottom of this as quickly as you can, but you can only push yourself so far." that voice came from another ghostly figure, Mordred Phantom, who, if it weren't for having longer hair different eyes and being an elf, would practically be Seifer's twin. "I know that to. I'm just..." the brunette sighed shaking his head before completely annihilating another Reverse fighter. Sadly the energy he was giving off would probably attract the attention of more powerful Reverse fighters, and a certain pair of sisters... If they were paying enough attention, as the energy he gave off was boundless waves of darkness, fire, and Reverse energy.

After defeating yet another wave of Reverse fighters, Seifer's phone vibrated. Thinking someone finally noticed he was gone he pulled it out seeing the text was instead from Yukino.

"I told you to be careful." "Save the I told you so speech and reprimanding for later please, thank you." Seifer didn't snap at Mordred, rather it seemed more like a back and forth between brothers. However, the brunette hit call on his phone and waited for Yugure to answer. He had a feeling he knew what it was about.

"I'm uh... In Umano... I've been unreversing people for..." he checked his watch noting the noise in the background. "Almost an hour now... Hey, what the hell is that noise in the back ground... Where are you?" he asked, very obviously in full control since he wasn't taunting Yugure in the slightest. Mordred and Yunos stood off to the side watching out for anything that might show up.

Well, crap. As the line went dead Seifer frowned before turning on his heel and taking off. She said a facility and that it was losing power. That shouldn't be to hard. And a name. Cero? What was going on? Alright then. Seifer ran as quick as he could to try and find where it was.
