Title: Best trigger line up for each clan
Post by: Agame on November 30, 2014, 04:24:31 PM
I want to know what is possibly the best trigger line up for each clan in general. (all opinion wise, and can be for certain builds aswell ).

It depends on the build, preference, and playstyle of the player and the clan.

The most generic setup is 8 Critical, 4 Draw, 4 Heal. However, clans such as Oracle Think Tank don't have to rely on draws and can go full force on Criticals. Gold Paladins can go 4 Stand instead of 4 Draws due to field advantage and Catchgal being amazing. Aqua Force can employ more Draw Triggers to gain their setups faster and deal with retire better.

There's too many variables for the "best" trigger lineup for anything.

^ That.

But whatever you do, if you're playing golds, run catchgal.

Most of the decks used to play 8 crits/4 draw/4 heals. Some clans such as Genesis and OTT uses 12 crit. Some even quit the heals and played 16 crits for a one-time shot.
Anyway, Bushi observed that stands weren't very popular latlely (decks either didn't have any use of them before and/or had enough standing without them.) so they started to release them with some annoying skills so stands have made another good appeareance on the field.

... I don't think you read what was stated.

The best trigger lineup depends on how you want to go about the deck and your playstyle. Energy Girl is insanely good and worth playing over Draw Triggers, but Nova Grappler is known for being absolutely terrible at getting their setups going without an arm and a leg. Not to mention after all that hard work, retire decks can completely destroy them. Draw Triggers work in favor as failsafes, but Stands assist with making every turn you Stride over Viktor pure devastation.

6-8 Criticals is usually the best bet over the others in the meantime. You want to utilize the fact that standing rearguards with stacked criticals means heavy pressure beatdown.

I probably have the most awkward trigger line-up for viktor, but it works out really well for me.
I run 4 Energy Girl, then 6 Draw and 6 Crit, meaning no Heals. If you don't want to risk that, I've found Energy Girl /isn't/ actually needed to make good winning combos, but she helps /a lot/ if you want to make godly pressure turns.

in my Negrobolt Legion deck, I use 8 crit-4 stand-4 heal.  I don't need to spam Sea Strolling Banshee very often when 7/10 fights my rides are consistently: Samurai> Ruin Shade> Pinot Noir> Negrobolt.
