The gamemode concept is simple.
Before the start of the match, Select two units in your Deck, those two units are now Legion Mates.
Only Grade 3 units have the ability to 'Seek Mate'.
Standard Legion rules apply. Basically, Treat both of those units as normal, but with an added ability to Seek Mate.
You can already try this in CFA as you can Legion any two units.
Legend:
Legion Mate = Any of the two units involved in a Legion
Legion = The unit initiating the Legion
Mate = The unit being seeked to form Legion.
'Unofficial Rules' for the sake of Balance:
Notice: Cards with Actual Legions are exempted from these rules if they Legion with their actual Mates.
If your Legion's Base Power is More than 11K,
For Example, Majesty Lord Blaster or Crossrides, They become 11K during your opponent's turn.
Unable to be Legion Mates:
Units with Guard Restrictions: E.g. Silent Tom, Glory Maelstrom.
Break Rides.
Unable to be Mates:
Units with an ability that activates when it's placed on the VC.
Some Ridiculous Examples you can try:
"Reverse Commanders Unite"" Star-Vader, Omega Glendios + Edicting Star-Vader, Halcium
"Strongest Beast Deity Narcissism!" Ethics Buster Extreme + Ethics Buster Reverse
"Lock and Unlock!" Dragonic Overlord, "The Re-Birth" + Seal Dragon, Georgette.
"The Zenith of Eradicators" Eradicator, Gauntlet Buster Dragon + Eradicator, Tempest Bolt Dragon

this is a fun and inventive idea, nice work galleon.
the downside it the combo of two g3s could it it extreamly unfair but on the otherside it gives old unites and units that arnt used that much new lives.

This is a very cool idea. Like Jai said you would be able to see and use units that have lost their value, but could work really well with a mate. If this does become popular among cfa it would be a blast having another strategy to resort too. But as time goes along, we might need to make some restrictions as play continues so you do not completely destroy your opponent.

It's a good idea but needs more restriction for examples you just say units which skills on vg circle can't be used as mate, then in your examples what is the point in legioning with two grade 3 with vg skills when u just said they can't? o.o or maybe that's just me who didn't get it lol

The whole point is that both unit's abilities can be used at the same time. Just to see what ridiculous combinations people can pull. Of course Restrictions are gonna be put in place because some combinations are ridiculous.
Important thing to note is that if your Mate gains Crit from its abilities. Your Attack still has Critical 1 unless your Legion gains it as well.

that is a basic rule but as phonic pointed out there will be few combos since units with vg skills cant be mates.

Enter Glendios and Freeze Ray Dragon! Pay the cost to omega lock, then when ever you take damage, lock an extra unit. >.<

Any LJ G3 + Mobius breath dragon
CBD: Extra Lock on hit, keep re Legioning and have 2 cards in soul.
Glendios: Extra Lock on hit plus the chance of having the locked card Omega Locked
Glendios + Magnet Hollow: Get R units to omega lock
Any G3 + Magnet Hollow: Get R units to stride when needed/PG with/Filter deck

any AqF Grade 3 with Argos, draw on fourth or more battle if attack hits
any DI grade 3 with Succubus of Deterioration, sc every time a rear is called to R (buff Izayah and Doreen)
