Title: Flame wing steel beast, Denial Griffin
Post by: EXcedra on May 23, 2016, 10:37:22 AM
Hello guys, I recently saw this card http://cardfight.wikia.com/wiki/Flame_Wing_Steel_Beast,_Denial_Griffin and have a question about it's skill. Ok, so my opponent attacks with his rear-guard and I put denial griffin in the guardian circle. I then counterblast and retire his attacking rear-guard. My question is, does this stop the attack completely or do I have to make sure that I have successfully guarded the attack? I would figure that since my opponents rear guard is retired, the attack would pretty much be nullified. I thank you in advance for helping me out.

Yes since the attacking unit is not on the field anymore the attack will stop
