I'd like to hear to some theories about what Ren truly knows. So far, judging from the next episodes name as well, I am assuming he made some kind of promise to Aichi.

Nah he probably just wants to cardfight kai for the lol's. He probably going to go into further detail of how awesome they are too. Ren totaly has a mate and kai knows it. We will hopefully see it.

Well yeah...but what exactly does Ren know...and how...since according to ep 176 spoiler, they arrive at a place indicated by Ren, and then Gaillard appears. That means that Ren also -propably- knows where Aichi exactly is...or..something

Ren and Aichi once shared the Avatar Blaster Dark, right? Since Kai, whom he shares Blaster Blade with remembers, I see no reason Ren does not if I follow the same logic. ;D And I don't think Ren would immediately divulge everything about Aichi it would be so out of character. Besides, since he was also a world-class fighter, maybe he knows the Quatre Knights long before? ;D

It's bound to happen tho. After beating Ren, he'd tell what he knows to Kai.

But yeah i definitely think he knows something, but like Magus said he could just said if he wanted too but he is fighting for the lols.

The best way to solve things is by FIGHTING! lol, everything gets resolved by CF...

That is the anime logic. However, given the fact that Ren has Psyqualia as Aichi, he may remember everything from that alternative reality where Aichi is live and well.

My guess for their connection is Blater Dark - their common Avatar.

So yep in the end it Ren was totally testing Kai. Though it looks like Ren knew something after all. Ren is sending them to what looks like Stonehenge.

Dunno if i was watching it 100% carefully but it did seem like ren didnt try towards the end lol. was like "eh no guard"

Even though you say Ren lost... for me... he didn't. XD He just did it for the sake of Kai. :) He is a mate after all :3

The promise was probably a promise that Ren would keep quiet about the Quatre Knights and Aichi. The Quatre Knights were probably chosen for lasting the longest without being Reversed during the Link Joker invasion, and they decided to honor Ren, but he probably declined and so they swore him to secrecy or they would just erase his memories/cast Judgement on him.
For those who want to use Misaki as an excuse to poke a hole in my theory, I dunno, I guess plot demanded that they only take Aichi?

XD Both of them looking same place the first one is the place where ren was talking about that place in season 2

They don't really look the same. They look similar, but its probably just a coincidence.
