I am brand new to this system - been playing CFV live until now.
Firstly, why should I join a team? and how do I join?
This is really a great platform especially since I cannot play often due to lack of players in my area...

Joining a team isn't mandatory or required, though I believe joining a team benefits people online because teams constantly card fight each other through Team Battling so you'd have more exposure to more of an organized environment rather than bumping into people who more or less won't know how cards work, illegal decks, bad-manners etc. In addition, teams can help you grow, expand your knowledge of the game, meet others, being up to date with Vanguard stuff, and all of that jazz. Plus, your teammates are able to help you out which in turn allows you to make new friends which is always a plus. Not to mention, since tournaments aren't always held, those who aren't on a team can always play with their team in said Team Battles.
To join a team, just visit our Cardfight Vanguard Teams (http://cardfight-wiki.ru/areafor/index.php/board,34.0.html) Section and look at each thread, find which ever team appeals to you and try to get in contact with a leader or member, if need be. Alternatively, if you have a Discord Account, you can join our Community Chat up above and you'll get a more direct and fast response.
Also, most of us are in the same situation of an absent Vanguard community in real life, myself included, but being online makes up for it especially while on a team.
