Title: Cool Forum Stuff
Post by: Rank Up on March 16, 2015, 07:10:35 AM
I was exploring the Forum possibilities and have done some changes as you might've noticed. First - I changed the karma, so it display only summ of the karma, user have. Then I lowered the amount of time between smites or applauds - to 24 hours, down from 100. And now users need at least 50 post to be able to affect other users karma.

But thats not end. I deleted wierd ~Moderator~ that was not working, but it's not important at all.
I changed user groups - those, that are based on post number. Now there is 10 groups, instead of 5. I will be preety surprized if someone will unlock last. Currently unlocked only 7 of them:

Newbie (0 post)
Definitely not Newbie (50 posts)
Almost not active User (100 posts)
The User (200 posts)
Semi-Active User (350 posts)
Communicative User (500 posts)
and The Post-Flooder (750 posts)

So why am I writing all of this. I just wanna hear your feedback - what do you think about this changes. Feel free to coment ~_~

But why isn't my Karma at 69?!

I like these group names a lot better than the generic previous ones.

It's Strange.

It could be something like this,
Newbie (0 post)
Almost a Member (50 posts)
Active Member (100 posts)
Half-Complete Member (200 posts)
Complete User (350 posts)
Communicative User (500 posts)
and Most Active Member (750 posts)

How's this?

I kinda disagree with Almost not active user and Semi-Active user, because not having that much posts doesn't mean you are not active, but most likely that you are not an old member yet ( me in example, i'm new, active on forum by regularly posting tb results and commenting on interesting things ) so i don't think the number of posts shud define activity

Hey guys, added new tag to the forum, for all those, who like making cool TB reports or something else. Oh, no, I'm not Яeversed, it's just that tag in action. It is used like that:

Code: [Select]
[stroke=#FF0000]The unseen stroke is the deadliest![/stroke]
The thing is, you can combine this tag with other tags, like "b", "size" or even "color", so you can make some cool crazy stuff.

It does not work with "glow" though. And I havent tested all the tags, but you can do it yourself, if interested ^^.
Also I slightly updated the "size" tag itself, so you now can use % instead of pt.

Code: [Select]
The pt variant works like that:
Big bang text buster

And the % variant is used this way:
Big bang text buster

size=180 basically means 180% of this font's original size. Oh and last detail - 100% are equal to 10pt, and 180% are equal to 18pt and so on.

Other changes:

Would you add these tags with the old tags? Then it would be way much better :) and also Thanks for doing it.
