This is how it used to look like.
Field Status
It got destroyed.
Rubble everywhere.
Scene from the apocalypse. Sad.
What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.
Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.
Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.
Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!
(Yes I will be doing the little icons of expression for my character as well as providing a theme to fit the scenery. Theme idea credits go to Cherry :D)

Walking through the streets with his backpack over his shoulder, the blonde-mix boy kept walking down the busy streets. His eyes were avoiding staring at the groups of people that he kept passing by as he walked to the corner of the street. He looked down and saw a little boy with his mother, both smiling.
(http://i.imgur.com/NHJdFYC.png) Jellal gave a comforting smile. Seeing children was one of his weak spots. Despite his cold attitude, he recalls the times where he used to own a smile that the young boy had. It reminded him of the young girl he fought, the Oracle Think Tank player: Elizabeth. "Hmmm" he said just as the little boy and his mother kept moving forward across the street.
"Maybe there is some hope..." he said looking up, making a leisurely made a turn down the street where he had his eyes closed but was in a deep nostalgia. He steps into the dark shadows of the tree blocking out the sun, it was then, his eyes slowly opened and before reaching into his back pocket. He grabbed his deck and looked at the card in front.
(http://i.imgur.com/4cOVrMd.png) Blaster Dark's gaze was most terrifying but it didn't scare Jellal. He knew deep down that he needed the avatar of darkness' assistance now more than ever. In fact, he felt that holding it was his punishment for everything that happened on that day.
(http://i.imgur.com/e0rSXLT.png) Jellal's expression returned to his normal as he closed his eyes and slid the deck back in the case aiming it in his hand. He resumed walking as he kept replaying the match that he had with Yukino yesterday and the words that were exchanged: Being able to 'talk' to the cards, it wasn't something unfamiliar to him, it was something he's experienced and yet rejected the idea of it completely. Suddenly, something inside of him triggered, a memory. It was fuzzy but what he saw he could only describe with 'torment'. Jellal dashed into the alley and slammed himself against the wall to catch his breath, dropping his back and his deck case.
"Why am I still..." he thought. His hand over his chest, he could only attempt to catch his breath while hoping no one noticed him react the way he did. He caught a hold of himself and stood back up, grabbing the backpack and the deck that spilled over. He reached for the deck and saw Phantom Blaster Dragon.
(http://i.imgur.com/1JzyfC8.png) A gaze more terrifying than Blaster Dark's, which normally wouldn't have affected him, but Jellal sensed nothing except carnage. He shut his eyes quickly and scooped up the cards, slamming Blaster Dark on top of the sinister Black Dragon.
"Why though...?" he muttered as his hair concealed his eyes. "Why am I so weak...?" His hands shaking violently one minute, froze solid the next. He stood up and shook himself off: physically, mentally, and emotionally. His eyes, that showed fear for a split second showed new-found resolve.
"Of course, it's my fault anyways." he said while walking down the cold alley covered in shadows. "This is the punishment I'm forced to carry out..." he stopped and looked up. "Right?"
