Well i disagree with that post since CFA is supposed to be a free to play sandbox game. But i like the idea that you can have something that you can work for. And since cards should definitely be out of the picture, it should be a cool thing, but that don't give any advantage whatsoever for the owners. Then what could that be? Sleeves of course!  ;D
There are a lot of sleeves in the game folder that can't be all given by the lottery or else the chance to get the one you want would be ridiculously low. And even with forum events and tourneys there are still a lot of them so this would be a nice way to obtain them. Since CFA now has an account system that can store info i figured this could be possible(Not sure tho since i know nothing about programming).

For example:
Beginner: Play your first fight - Prize Aichi Sleeve
Experienced fighter: Win 15 Fights - Prize Kai Sleeve

Not sure if it's viable but it would definitely be cool.

This wouldn't really be viable unless there was some way of recording wins o3o

If we did a low number of wins requirement for the achievement we could count official tournament matches wins only(since those keep track). and there are other possible achievements other than fighting only, a few examples would be: Having an account for X days, logging in for X days, participating in X number of tourneys, getting X number of achievements and so on...
anyway is nothing vital but achievements are always fun in any game.

We need additional ways to get sleeves besides drops and this is the last resort. If this gets approoved and if I really want a sleeve than beware, I will become Vanguard machine that cfs 24/7.

An achievement system sounds interesting, but I would have to say it would need to be in some sort of official fight like a tournament or something or else, some people will ask for wins instead of trying to earn them and having highly difficult to recieve sleeves would act like ranking system in its own way. Not only that, it could be abused if it is not an "officially observed" and friends could throw fights for over friends and the point of an achievement system becomes null and void. These are some of my worries that could come from an achievement system. I like the idea but these are some of the potential problems that would need to be confronted.

thats a good idea the same idea i thought but what will the prize of losing xd  :P a random sleeve :)

thats a good idea the same idea i thought but what will the prize of losing xd  :P a random sleeve :)
If a loser would still get a sleeve, then where's the competition in that? That's why we're playing... To get sleeves. Right?

I just think Sleeves should be random-drop and prizes :/ They're not really "special" if everyone has them.

The huge issue with an achievement system right now is that CFA is ENTIRELY manual. I don't believe it can actually tell when a side wins or loses and whatnot, and thus would have no way of tracking your number of wins/losses or anything like that.

Why do you need achievement lol, they're useless. Beside if everyone have sleeves it wouldn't be special and if you want sleeves you could always implant one in game, only that they cant be seen by the opponent.

I know but just because they would be obtainable by achievements doesn't mean everyone will have them where did you got that from? some achievements will be easy some will be hard, or at least that's the idea.

yeah she's right if all got them they will be not interested in sleeve
