Fabulous work! Though the colors for the link joker one could be tweaked, I know their whole color scheme is red and black, but since that's in the card, it's going to be very hard to balance that. What I'd do, is instead of just a solid black color for the inside border, why not do a mixed or 'fading' color scheme of one color starting at the bottom slowly fading or mixing into black at the bottom since the LJ card has more black on top than it does at the bottom. Most of the cards use two to three different other colors that usually are colors already on the card and also to help bring attention/not blend in with the colors. Personally for the swordsman, I'd try to use white on one of the borders since his three colors are gold, purple and white.

Also don't limit yourself to just the card characters, they also do characters from the anime.
