The place that saves lives but we all hate it.

Field Status

There's alot of cars parked basically 24/7
The building is filled with people too.
The best kind of place to go if you got a disaese from playing card games!

What is a field?

A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!

Neu woke up on her hospital bed, it seems like she passed out again. She was in a hospital gown now, with all sort of things attached to her. The room was a dull white with green curtains, she couldn't even turn her head to see much else. Looking upwards at the. ceiling, perhaps eternally left her alone with her own thoughts. Over two hundred years of memories, so, this wasn't that bad for her at least. She was able to smile, the joy from her last fight still came over her, her numb body feeling nothing but happiness. It was heaven.

There was a contraption also attached to her mouth and nose to aid her with her breathing. It seems that her schedule would involve a healthy diet to get her body all good and working again. No fishballs. Now this is hell. The doctors treated her very nicely, they recognized who she was, the young National Champion. It didn't bother her this time like it did before. She was thankful to them and she did nothing but give them her sincere gratitude. assionathe medical personell left, she would be back to just her and the ceiling, she can't move or take care of herself. She was like a baby. She didn't notice, but she was crying like one too, when two figures, a man and a woman entered her line of sight. They wore business outfits and were obviously from a higher class, but their eyes and posture screamed of their exhaustion.

"Neu Edelweiss, your parents have come to visit you."

They saw her on screen, the monster they created. They realized that it was all their fault. Mrs. Edelweiss leaned over to her  daughter who laid still. She gave her an embrace as she cried.

"Neu! Neu!... Are you alright?... Your mom is here... And she's sorry, so very sorry.... Look dad is here too...he wants to tell you as well that-.."

Her father stood still, a stern expression, trying to not look at her, but he was holding back his own emotions of guilt.

"Y-.. You're the best daughter than anyone could have..." he covered his eyes now, wiping them with the sleeves of his business suit. "How we treated you, how we harmed you... I don't know how you could forgive us... You gave us a better life, that was supposed to be mom and job... But we got carried away, we felt so much guilt and frustration that we took it out on bad habits... Took it out on you!.. Sorry Neu...Sorry.."

She couldn't control it, the water from her eyes was beyond her control. Before, the world was in the palm of her hands and now she couldn't even stop her own tears. She choked a little, but eventually she was able to say a few words. Her eyes were slowly able to shift to get a better look at both of them,.

"Mommy... Daddy..."

A expression of joy came into their eyes as she bestowed the title upon them that they knew they didn't deserve, the title of her parents. Even Mr. Edelweiss now rushed forward and hugged her along with Mrs. Edelweiss, Neu's body lifted up and squeezed in between them. Her parents kept speaking, telling her stories and also saying things like how much they missed her. They spoke and on as Neu listened, and as if like a bed time story, they spoke on til the moon rose, and they were able to bring their daughter a peaceful sleep. They both tucked her into bed and kissed her forehead, looking at her with proud eyes, as they left the hospital vowing to visit again.

Hazama walks through the automatic double doors into the hospital. It smells like disinfectant around everywhere. He goes up to the front desk. "I can help the next person please," the attendant said.

Hazama steps forward. "Hello. Um, I was wondering if you could deliver a letter to Neu Elelweiss," he replied to the lady.

"Sure, I will deliver it as soon as I can."

The letter wrote, Dear Neu Edelweiss, Hello, Ms. Edelweiss, this is Hazama von Einsburn. First off, I would just like to say, I hope you will get better soon. I know those cardfights must have taken a lot of energy out of you. That being said, I have heard about a new clan, which no one has ever heard of, as well as containing incredible fear and power. I thought I should ask you this because you knew about the missing clans. If you have a quest, or an objective with whatever this newfound power is, it would be my honor to aid you through your quest. Anyway, hope you right back as soon as you get better. Sincerely, Hazama von Einsburn.

He gave the enclosed letter to the attendant and walked away.

Cero entered the hospital, walking straight to the attendant's desk, his face lowered in shame.  "I need to see Neu Edelweiss."

"Are you a member of her family?" the attendant questioned.

"No, but I have to talk to her!  It's important," Cero responded.

"I'm sorry, we can't let you in.  Only family is allowed to visit her right now," was the attendant's answer.

Reaching over the desk, Cero grabbed the woman by her shirt, "I am Europe's King of Vanguard and Narukami's Champion, Cero Kirguis!  I HAVE to see Neu Edelweiss!"

"Sir, let go, or I'll have to call security."  After Cero let go, the woman answered again, "Fine, you can see her, but it's because of your status, not the threat."

Pushing passed the attendants, Cero headed to Neu's hospital room.  He entered quietly, looking at the broken Neu.  "Neu...  I have a question I need to ask you.  About Stride."

A visitor? Neu had been looking at the ceiling and thinking about quantum physics for fun. She moved over to the theory or relativety, running through a few equations. Strangely enough, she was about to figure out the true secret to time travel using her knowledge on stride, putting both together. Before she reached her solution, a question had rose on the topic. She remembered the voice to be Cero, but she couldn't quite get him within her line of sight, but her audible senses were at least providing her enough to hold a decent conversation.

"Stride? What about it?..." she asked curiously.

"You showed me that it can bring forth the future...  I want to know...  Can it call upon the past as well?"  Cero had to know.  If Stride could call upon the past, that means he could use it to return his Avatar to him.

"Yes... Stride brings forth heroes from both past and future... "Interdimensional Crosstalk," they called it.. Heh well I just called it one of the Rifts features. My discovery was that stride came from the subconcious,. My ideal and mission, well... what it was formed into the Messiahs and I gained their power. Blonde Ezel reached the evolution of Mithril Ezel through the world's collective subconcious and ways of Vanguard. Taking your way of Vanguard into account, stride takes a great deal of power. Do you alone think that you can go beyond who you are now and reach it?" She knew what he wanted to call forth from the past. Neu stayed silent for a moment, trying to find the words that she could use to proceed.

"Even if you do... Stride is largely unstable, depending largely on matching the wavelength of the summoned as well as the sunmoner. Let me ask again. With you strength at the time that you lost Vermillion, do you think that your power and synchronization was enough to tap into the power of stride? As you are now, do you think that you are strong enough? Answer this wisely with the Vanguard that you showed me. Even if you were to return Vermillion, he would only last for a moment."

  "...  I know I can go beyond who I am now.  I believe I can reach a level where I can tap into Stride alone.  I have to, so that I can atone for taking Vermillion away from the world.  At the time I lost Vermillion, I was the at the strongest I've ever been and Vermillion is the unit I am most synchronized with.  As I am now...  I lack the power to Stride...  But I will reach it.  I promised Vermillion, and now I promise you.  Even if it is just for a moment, I have to bring him back with my power alone, or I'll never be able to forgive myself."  This was Cero's answer.  No longer was the strength he seeked only for the purpose of becoming the best, it was now to return his 'friend' to the world.  Perhaps a desire beyond strength itself would push Cero to go beyond any strength that had previously existed.

"Stride is like a pact. Really, something that is way too form for friends to do. I myself am not sure about the extent of power that bonds can reach as I've only discovered it recently. Did you ever think of fighting as friends, hand in hand as in... You aren't fighting alone for Vermillion, but you two fight for each others sake, having each other's back. If you think that you failed your avatar, did you ever think about how your avatar felt? I'm sure that Vermillion felt the same towards you as well, that he failed you. Such understanding is synchrnoization, a power within the subconcious where you know that your avatar's strength resonates with yours. Even though he may be gone, try to keep on fighting with Vermillion, not for him. If you believe that he is truly strong, I doubt that Vermillion would need a weakling like you to treat him like a damsel in distress...That's just shameful..." Neu let out a weak laugh, "seek for your avatar... so that when I recover I could fight him again... I look forward to it."

Cero smirked at Neu's humor.  "I see.  Then I will fight with Vermillion, and one day I will bring him back to this world.  We'll face you again, Neu.  That's my promise to you."  With this promise, Cero left Neu to recover in her hospital bed.  His drive renewed and his question answered, he was ready to search for the power to Stride.

After Tsubasa left the coffee shop, he was immediately joined by Seifer and Neo, who both wanted to speak to Neu as well. The three walked through the streets of New York trying to find the hotel that Neu was sent to, but because of how large the city was it was not easy to arrive quickly enough.

"...This is the place I believe..." he said, as the three stopped in front of the entrance of a hospital. "..Let's go guys."

As the trio made it to the hospital, Seifer decided to take the initiative this time, walking inside with the other two in tow. Finding the closest staff member, he asked about Neu Edelweiss and which room she was currently in. Being led to the room didn't take much effort to convince but there was a knot developing in Seifer's stomach. He was worried, and he honestly really didn't like hospitals at all. But this was probably the only time he'd get to say the news, and with Neo there, the first friend he met when he got off that train a while back, it was going to be even more difficult. As the trio of friends had made it to the room, Seifer quietly opened the door, hoping not to alarm Neu, and held it open for both Tsubasa and Neo, going to walk in after the other two.

Upon entering the room the trio were surprised by the amount of machinery that was being used to keep Neu's body stable and in a good condition, it saddened Tsubasa to see her like that but he knew that this was the proper way for her to heal up so she can return to her old self.

"..We're doing fine for ourselves as of now Neu, we wanted to drop by and check-up on you, the events that happened yesterday left us all worried." he said.

He walked up next to her bed and asked, "Any idea how long your time here will be?"

"Doctors have no clue, but I can tell that it would take me about year before I could start trying to walk again at least." A nurse walked in with a letter for her, apparently it had come in from someone who dropped by this morning.

"Oh, is that a love letter?" She laughed to herself, "I've always been so shallow in these things. By the way, can you hand it to he guy who's right next to my bed?"

The nurse walked over Tsubasa and placed he letter in his hands.

"I obviously can't read that myself. I hope this isn't asking for much, but can you read it for me please?"

Seeing Neu in the state she was in, Neo was feeling a wide range of emotions. His parents, Vermillion, now Neu in this state was too much for Neo to handle. Neo tried to keep his cool by making a fist to hold back more tears.

Tsubasa opened the letter as Neu asked, after Neu's choice of humor he too was interested to know what this letter was about. He quickly read the letter in his head before reading it out loud, as the name of the sender made him really curious.

"....Unbelievable...listen to this.." he said, as he began to read the letter out loud this time. "Dear Neu Edelweiss, Hello, Ms. Edelweiss, this is......Hazama von Einsburn. First off, I would just like to say, I hope you will get better soon. I know those cardfights must have taken a lot of energy out of you. Tsubasa wa bit ticked off at the stunt that Hazama was trying to pull, he thought that Hazama would be working towards becoming a better person and not seeking out the power of...that clan.

"....He has some nerve....but he's messing with something dangerous." he said.

Seifer, having been the last of the three to walk into the room, visibly flinched at the letter's contents, biting his lower lip. "Really? Why on earth would..." he sighed shaking his head and crossing his arms, staying quiet for a moment before looking at Tsubasa. "I'd honestly really like to go give him a piece of my mind but... ...It might be best if someone keeps him away from Neu. There's no telling what someone like that would be willing to do for whatever goals he's planned..." admittedly though from the contents of the letter, it seemed there wasn't. But it didn't stop Seifer from being cautious either way.

The seemed to be getting quite distressed, though, Neu didn't see any reason to be. She couldn't exactly see their faces, she could see a bit of Tsubasa's since he was the closest, but Seifer was the one who was getting worked up. For some reason they were treating him like an actual threat which didn't connect in her mind.

"He has something planned? He just asked me for help for mine and I can't even move." Neu laughed at the fact that someone came to a hospital in search of "fear and power." He obviously didn't know much about her, but then again. "Wait, I don't even know a Hazama. Ugh, secret admirer? Stalker?" She knew exactly who she was, but since she has never met him, it was only natural for her to act the part.

"Anyways, don't stress about him, he seems like harmless guy."

Neo wasnt even thinking at what was being said about Hazama's letter. So many thoughts were crossing through his mind that he could barely stand up stright holding his head.

Tsubasa was feeling a bit annoyed by the way Hazama decided to handle his situation, especially after he tossed his deck aside.

"...Don't get me wrong guys I agree with Neu that Hazama is not harmful as much, but...knowing his motives it's disappointing to see him approach Vanguard the way he is." he said, before suddenly noticing that Neo seemed in pain.

"...Neo...are you ok?" he asked, rushing to the aid of his friend.

"...Is he still bothered by what Cero said...?" he thought.

Seifer relaxed slightly as Neu spoke. Well, she was right so there was no need to keep himself worked up about Hazama. Noticing Neo's pain though upset him slightly, and it made him even more hesitant to actually tell everyone what was on his mind. ...Maybe it would be best if he just left right now? That thought crossed his mind and was evident on his face. It was kind of hard for him to even think of it but, well for now he'd keep it to himself and wait till they were calmed down a bit. "What's wrong Neo?"

Neo then passed out on the floor, and his cards falling with him.

Amon had given Kurai control of his body once more. Kurai had decided to go for a check-up at the doctor's, since his previous visit told him to come back in a month for further observations. He approached reception, informed them of his check-up that was supposed to happen during the New York Circuit and they told him to head to one of the rooms, with this began to walk to the allocated room he had been given

The events of last night really took a toll on everyone when they arrived at the hospital, Neo was still struggling to come to terms with the events that transpired at the coffee shop last night, Seifer seemed to be trying to convey something to his friends but was unable to. As a result Neo collapsed and was forced to remain ta the hospital to get some. Seifer and Tsubasa decided to remain in Neo's room for the night until he wakes up, just in case, but now that it's morning time, Tsubasa decides to go check up on Neu.

He goes to her room and knocks on the door before entering,"..May I come in?"

Neu had slept soundly through the night which was great, another good night's rest, but its mainly because she had no other choice, but it was fine. Her parents had come by early in the morning while they were on their way to work. It seems that the damage done from recent events have been quick fixes and everything to would be returning to normal in no time. The hardest fix after all was already done, returning the sealed clans. Neu was fed a hot dog for breakfast. Yum.

After that, she took some time to think of and worry about Neo who suddenly collapsed the night before for some odd and random reason. She didn't even notice that he did until a nurse had told her that one of her visitors had passed out.

"Uh, yeah sure. Also is Neo ok?"

Tsubasa enters the room while trying not to startle Neu so early in the morning, he had been told by the nurse that she was getting visitors in the morning on his way there, but he still wanted to be considerate regardless of his curiosity.

"..Thanks, yea Neo is ok, as of now he's stable but...he has not woken up yet.." he said, his expresion shifting from calm to worried.

"..I can't let her worry about him, in this condition..." he thought. "...I heard you've been getting visitors in the mornings?" he said, with a smile.

This is where Neu would nod. She instinctively ordered her body to, but she couldn't. Her head twitched a little if that was something at least. Hearing his voice, she could tell that he was smiling, which she found pretty nice.

"Yeah, I have. My parents are actually the officials that set up the New York Stage. They're in charge of the American Vanguard scene and everything like that. Of course, they had to fight their way to the top, but they made it. Well, they were just worried about their daughter is all."

After Neo passing out the day before, Seifer had just about closed himself off from telling anyone. Maybe it would be best? No, he kept telling himself that wasn't right. They deserved to know. In any case, the male returned today, lightly knocking on the door twice before opening it slightly peering in. "Hey Neu, how are you feeling today... And, oh? Hey Tsubasa. I'm not interrupting anything am I? If I am I can come back some other time." he spoke quietly, only loud enough for the other two in the room to hear him.

Tsubasa noticed Neu struggling to move her body upon his question, so he pulls a chair next to her bed, sits down and places his hand upon hers. He wanted to comfort her and let her relax as much as possible, just so she can recover more quickly.

"...Try not to strain yourself Neu.." he said. "I'm glad that your parents are helping-"

Before Tsubasa can say another word, a knock was heard at the door, and the door swung slightly open. It was Seifer he had come back to check on the trio.

"Hey, Seifer glad you could come today." he said, turning around to see Seifer.

All of the sudden and in the blink of an eye, Tsubasa had leaned in close to her, perhaps too close for comfort. He could feel his breath from this distance and her face was just turning red. Usually, she would probably pull away by now, or in other cases, she was the one making the move. Well she can't move. Neu saw something else in Tsubasa that she didn't see in other people, other fighters for a fact. It was something that she saw in their fight a few days ago and for some reason she's been unable to shake off the thought from her near infinite memory space. She would be struggling if she could, she could feel him holding her hand. She tried to remain calm but her face was burning up now more than it was before.

"Gahhhh! I can't relax if you do this you idiot! Don't hold me like that, oh god you're too close!!" She shut her eyes really tightly, trying to calm herself down, "Ah.... Right... right... Uh, thanks though..."

Next thing she knew, Seifer had entered. She was hoping that he didn't hear her shameful yelling.

"Hi.. uh, Seifer... How are you?"

"Uh..." Seifer stared at the pair awkwardly, having heard maybe the end of it at worst. "I'm... I'm ok? I guess? Seriously, I can come back some other time if I'm bothering you guys. I just have something to get off my chest, and I guess Tsubasa being here will make things easier in the end." he hesitated for a moment before slightly shutting the door. "It's no big deal. Don't worry about it. I'll leave you two alone."

The way Neu reacted towards Tsubasa surprised him but he was not against this side of her, nevertheless what intrigued him the most were Seifer's actions. He seemed hesitant since yesterday, as if he had something on his mind, but was not sure when or how to talk about it.

"...You're not bothering us Seifer...is there something you wanted to say?" he asked, rising from his seat and letting Neu's hand go.

At Tsubasa's mention he sighed, holding the door for a moment before walking in shutting it behind him and staring at the floor, eyes half shut. He remained quiet for several long moments before breathing out slowly. "I guess this is harder than I thought it would be... ...When I first came along on that train, I didn't have any friends at all. I didn't know how to make friends and my dad... After getting divorced found it really hard to let me go do much of anything without him either around or with someone to watch out for me. He's afraid he'd lose his only kid but..." Seifer shook his head. "I begged dad to let me go out on my own for a while and he caved in, and through that I met Neo, and all of you. ...After the incident with the sealed clans and you two came back, I got a text from my dad telling me he wanted me home as soon as possible. And he was going to take Vanguard away from me. I might end up being stuck there along again. And I don't want that. I just... Didn't know how to bring it up. You guys are really my only friends in this world, and I'm grateful to everything all of you have done for me..." quietly the male bit his lip for a moment before rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry, maybe I shouldn't of said anything?..."

Everything was white and barely being able to see, Neo slowly woke up realizing he was in a hosiptal bed. He looked around and noticed no one was in the room he was in. Just trying to open his eyes fully and trying to sit up, Neo couldnt. So he layed back down staring at the ceiling intil someone came in.

Seifer's backstory truly caught Tsubasa off-guard he expected something difficult considering his recent hesitation, but nothing like this. It was clear that Seifer was feeling uneasy about losing both his friends and Vanguard, so in such situations it was difficult to counter what his parents wanted for him.

"...I see...and if we really are your friends you should not be afraid to tell us these things.." he said, still thinking about the right way to say his opinion and hopefully help his friend.

"...The way I see it you have no choice but to go to your father, but we managed to save the world thanks to Vanguard, talk to your father a bit and hopefully he'll understand." he said, such advice was difficult for Tsubasa to give since he had no parents ever since he was 9 years old.

"..Besides we'll be able to stay in touch right?" he asked.

Seifer scratched the back of his head and neck sighing and walking toward the pair nodding. He was still worried. "Yeah you're right. I'll definately try. ...You all have my number except for Neu, and you'll be able to give that to her when she's able to have a phone again." walking beside the pair, he put his hands in his vest's pockets, his eyes half shut.

"Sucks man..." She mumbled upon hearing Seifer's story.

Neu would say more, but she was feeling a bit tired, or a bit sleepy. With how she has just been laying down as if she were ready to sleep, it was something that happened a lot. She still fought to stay awake, paying close attention to what the other two would be doing or saying since she couldn't do much herself.

Seifer's story really changed the mood of the place but it was unavoidable, almost everyone here is going to go somewhere after three days when the flights are ready.

"...I need to go check up on Neo...i'll be right back guys." he said, as he exited the room and went to Neo's room.

On his way there, his phone begins to ring, it seems like someone had sent him a mesage.

"...It's...Fei..." he said, upon looking at the message."...I see...I wanted to spend some more time with everyone I met but I guess it's unavoidable...Haruto comes first....but I should probably get the contacts of everyone I met." he says, as he continues walking.

Upon entering Neo's room he notices that Neo seemed half-awake, so he tried tapping him on the shoulder to see if he is conscious.

"...Neo?..You feeling any better?" he asked.

Neu couldn't tell if Seifer had left or not, but Tsubasa just did to check on Neo. That's when it hit her. This is one heck of an expensive hospital, how the hell is Neo going to pay for a room? Oh man.

Tsubasa did not mean to push Neo to get out of bed faster but he wanted to make sure that the people he met were going to be stable or okay during the time he will be away, they've given him a lot already.

"...See i'm going to be leaving after tomorrow, not going back to rijuku, but back to my home, I need to go rebuild my parent's house...it's the least I can do for my brother and for them...." he said.

"..Anyway I was hoping that we could hang out and maybe cardfight one last time before we all go our seperate ways...but of course I need to make sure that you're going to be ok man." he said.

Tsubasa was not one to have much of an attachment towards others in the past, for him Vanguard was one way to change this aspect about himself, nevertheless he cannot hide that he will miss everyone he met so far.

He walks back to Neu's room and says, "..Neo's doing ok..he thinks he'll be able to leave the hospital bed by tomorrow...speaking of which we are all leaving tomorrow.."

Seifer had stayed behind in the room, both of his hands in his pockets with his eyes shut halfway. It had just hit him that tomorrow was the last day they were going to be here though, he continued to think on the problems that had happened, and had been brought up. With a sigh he pulled up a second chair and sat down in it, pulling his deck out and staring at the cards.

Neo then put on his white jacket over his black shirt while wearing jeans and orange sneakers. With Tsubasa and Seifer still in the room Neo finished gathering his stuff.

Neo startled him when he woke up after seeing his bill, but it gave Tsubasa the chance to go see Neu alone before he has to leave by night time.

"...I should probably see if she's awake, might as well, it's gonna be our last time to see each other before a bunch of months at least." he thought.

Tsubasa leaves the room while trying not to draw attention to himself towards the asleep Seifer and the panicking Neo. He makes his way to Neu's room, knocks on the door, enters as silently as possible so as not to startle her.

"..Hey Neu.." he said, as he stood next to her bed.

Ighanna struts her leather high heel shoes down the hospital's corridor, covered with sunglasses and mouth cover, typical in a hospital. Apparently her father donated a huge amount of money for the hospital and so she wanted Metatron to see the advancement in medical appliances nowadays. However the current machine is being occupied by a certain patient right now and so it might be uncomfortable for them if Ighanna barges in but on a second thought, maybe having a celebrity visit them will help cheering the patient up and so she discussed with the nurse in charge who led her to a room.

"Hello, is anyone in there?" Ighanna said as she knocked her wrists on the door and instantaneously retracted to prevent hospital germs infecting her. Right after that the nurse presses 2 drops of sanitary alcohol onto Ighanna's hand as she rubbed them thoroughly. What caught her attention was the front of the door, right under the engraved room number was the patient's name "Ms. Edelweiss" which shocked her a bit. She waited, quite nervously for a reply from the room. 'Could it be Neu's mother, cousin or something? Why would Neu be here anyways, this machine's usually used continuously for years and Neu seemed healthy when they met long ago' she thought.

Hazama walks into the Hospital with all of his belongings, as it was his last visit before his flight back home. He goes up to the front desk. "I would like to see Neu Edelweiss", he said to the attendant.

"Im am sorry, but we don't allow bags in hospital rooms," the attendant replied.

"Fine I will leave them here. Though if I do, may I then go see Ms. Edelweiss."

"Sure."

Hazama found a chair and put a lock on his bags so they wouldn't be opened or stolen. He then follows the attendant to the elevator to proceed to Neu's room. The ride only lasted about three quarters of a minute when they reached the respective floor.

"Her room is down the hallway, take your first left, and it is the third door on the right," the attendant spoke.

"Thank you very much," Hazama replied.

He opened the door to find Neu on her bed. He couldn't tell her current state from afar, or if she was sleeping or just resting. He pulled up a chair and sat down.

"Hey Neu, it's Hazama. I just wanted to say bye for now, as my flight for home leaves in about three hours. I hope you received my letter about wanting to help you with your quest. It would truly be an honor, Ms. Edelweiss. Wether you can hear me or not in your current state, I hope you will let me aid you." Hazama said all of that with a soft voice as he didn't want to startle her, or wake her up if she was sleeping.

He pulled out a letter from his pocket.

"This letter contains what I just said if you did not hear me through it all. Also, it contains a check for $7,500 to help you with your hospital expenses, a gift from the Einsburn family. It also contains one last thing, an envelope with pre-paid postage directed to the Einsburn Castle, if you want to write back, which I hope you do. Well I guess this is as much time as I have on my hands for now. I hope to see you later, Ms. Edelweiss. And I hope you recover soon."

Hazama placed his letter on the stand next to her bed. He got up from his chair to continue to the door, which will eventually lead him home.

Her eyes slowly. She had been sound asleep for a food chunk of the day apparently, with numerous visitors passinf by. A nurse was organizing her belongings. The nurse informed her of two letters, one from her parents and another from Hazama, two visitors that she had missed due to being asleep. Of course, there was also a flier going around the hospital which the Nurse thought she really should see. There was a concert today, to celebrate the return of the clans. A good deal of the hospital staff was already planning to go and they didn't getting Neu out of her hospital gown and into actual clothes so she could go for it too. There was great joy in this. She wouldn't miss it for the world, a chance to celebrate Vanguard with other fighters. The nurse decided to leave the room to give her some time to organize what she wanted to do for tonight's event.

Eventually, Tsubasa entered the room and greeted her. Then she realized that there was no one better to celebrate it with than with him.
"Tsubasa? Right-..." Shd thought about it for a moment, what would this be considered? Well surely its more of charity work for the sick since he's going to be pushing her around on a wheel chair, but of course it could be another thing. It didn't matter, she azked anyways. "Um... If its not too much trouble would you like to go to the concert tonight?... With me...?" She closed her eyes. That took way more energy than expected...

Neu awoke at Tsubasa's call when he entered her room and called for her. He was overjoyed to see her awake after some time but he was also saddened by how short of a time he will have to spend with her and everyone he's met thus far.

"..Oh..." he said, in his mind he was trying to understand the meaning behind Neu's request. To him it was obvious that any nurse or payed doctor who is going to the concert would have no trouble taking her along, but the fact that she asked him to do this put a smile on his face.

"..I'd love to go to the concert with you, it will be a great way to celebrate and spend the day." he said, placing his hand on hers.

Neu opened her eyes again after hearing his response. She was glad to hear that he was going. Strange, though, she felt a nurse grab her hand, but she thought the nurse had left awhie ago.  Running it through her head again, and then looking to her side, she realized that it was Tsubasa.

"Oh god you're doing the thing again. Stop that idiot I can't move!... Actually- WAIT NO!! Uh..." She continued looking at the ceiling, not like she could do much else, but she was certainly wide awake now. ".. Yeah get the nurse I kinda have to get dressed..."

Upon seeing Neu's reaction Tsubasa immediately felt the desire to chuckle at her response, but above all he was glad that she will get to spend time with everyone before they all go their seperate ways, more importantly with him.

"..Hahaha....I can't help it Neu, I won't be able to hold that hand for a while." he said, with a joking tone. "I'll get the nurse."

Tsubasa steps out of the room and asks the nurse to go and help Neu prepare for an amazing night.

A bunch of nurses appeared inside the room and took Neu away to get her prepared for the concert. It took awhile since they had to actually go buy Neu a dress. Since used the rift to travel to New York, she actually didn't bring any of her clothes and changed back at her apartment in Japan when she needed to. The nurses didn't ask any questions. Neu's whole situation was weird enough as it was.

"Sorry for the long wait." A nurse pushed Neu in on a wheelchair. She was wearing a white dress, glowing along with her skin which  complimented her light-purple hair. The dress was trimmed by similar color, creating compliments from head to toe. The nurses had a great fashion sense. Neu's request was for a simple outing, but seeing who it was, they prepared Neu for something beyond that. More so for a date than anything else. They giggled to themselves and wished Neu good luck before taking their leave to go get changed themselves for the concert.

"Sorry, but uh... you're going to kind of have to push me around on this thing. Shall we go?"

After dinner, Neu was escorted back into her hospital room. By request after a few months in New York, she was transferred to the Hospital which was nearby Hoshiko. It was close to her apartment so there was no more need to buy new clothes, plus this was where she felt at home. A nurse came in and dropped off a deck box for her. There was an event at Card Capital today hosted by Isabella Hope and she really wanted to attend, but sadly, in her condition she still wouldn't be able to hold off in such a large crowd all on her own.

Improvements upon the last year have enabled her to fight again, but there was still a problem. She still had no deck. Everyday she would check on her one card, Neon Messiah. She didn't know what to expect, but she felt potential from the card itself, even though it may just be a foolish to believe in it. It was still her avatar after all. On the day that she had recovered the ability to walk, four new cards appeared on top of Neon Messiah.

"Asleep Messiah..?" She thought to herself.

She opened up the deck box that the nurse had brought in for her. In the meantime, this would serve as her deck. Smiling as she shifted through the cards, remembering the nostalgia and having the desire to play once more, she greeted them.

"Haha, hey guys."

Neu laid back on her bed and held them close to her, until then, they were her companions.

Tsubasa had entered the hospital that Neu was transferred to near the area of Hoshiko, upon entry he asked for her room number, he was both excited and nervous to see her again after so long. After being told the directions he starts his walk towards her room, excited to see her standing on her feet once again, as told to him by the nurses.

"..I'm so happy for you Neu...and I can't wait to see you again..." he said, as he took a right turn towards her room.

He stopped walking next to her room's door and took out his deck, " Thanks to her I can stand here today with these paladins..." he thought.

He entered her room as calmly as possible, "..Hey Neu, it's good to see you again." he said.

A nurse helped her stand up as they were told that she had a visitor. It's been awhile since her last so she was quite excited. She walked slowly towards the door which swung open even before that she had made her way halfway through. She reacted in surprise to who it was as she certainly didn't expect Tsubasa to come visit her, but here he was. It was a year ago that they fought, where she remembered unleashing her full power, leaving her in the state in which she was in now. It was with him that she felt like a human again, so she was overjoyed to see him. It was also during that time that he began acting strangely towards her, holding her hand and making her blush. Over the year, she'd largely forgot those feelings as the time has made them slowly fade to the back of her mind. It really has been awhile.

"Hey. Nice to see you again too." She waved back at him, struggling to walk forward and keep her balance.

He entered the room and was immediately surprised, he was aware that she will be able to stand but seeing her like that from the start, that sight by itself brought a smile on his face. At that moment he was not sure what to do his emotions were mixed and and overjoyed at the same time.

"..You're standing.." he said, as he began to walk towards her.

"I really missed you Neu..." he said, as he began to wrap his hands around her, giving her a hug.

As he began to let go he looked at her and asked,"You sure you don't want to sit down? You don't have to strain yourself."

She was starting to feel light headed and almost lost balance when he went to hug her. He was right, she probably should take a seat. Her body still felt heavy, and took a lot of energy to walk around. The hug felt nice at least, he held on tight enough to keep her from falling over. Neu started taking small steps back to her bed, looking down cautiously at her feet.

"So, how have you been?" She greeted him as she calculated her next step.

Tsubasa carefully helped Neu on to her bed, allowing her to slowly get a feel for her to gently take a seat without straining herself. He was glad that she had improved and at the same time grateful that their previous fight did not push her to more than what she can handle.

"...I've been doing fine for myself as of late, though my trip back home really was tiring...aside from eventful." he said. "..What about you, what have you been up to over this time?"

Aside from the recovering, he wanted to know what was going on with her and whether she was happy or not, if not for his desire to pay some respect to his deceased parents and check up on his brother, he would have stayed to keep her company.

"Well the trip was just me rebuilding with a couple of my childhood friends...it was for my parents...and my brother.." he said, displaying signs of sadness in his lowered gaze.

The mention of Tsubasa brother always reminded him of his failure so long ago, it reminded him of how he was not there when he was needed by those most closest to him, as a result it always gave him a gloomy feeling upon mention, even though he was only opening up slightly to Neu. However, at the mention of her having a deck his head immediately rose slightly with a look of excitement.

"..Oh...you have a deck on you?" he asked, taking out his own deck."..So then wanna have a short fight for old time's sake? I can't wait to show you my new paladins."

Neu's currently borrowed deck featured the Battle Sister of the Oracle Think Tank, their style was a bit different from Coco and Tsukuyomi but the similarities were clear. Even though Tsubasa managed to win Neu was clearly able to command the deck with skill, but after the fight she started to feel dizzy with a slight headache.

Ignoring his cards he immediately rushed towards her aid, placing his hand on her back and helped her to lie down on her bed, "...There you go...I told you not strain yourself.."

"It's getting late, you need to get some rest.." he said, as he began to rise from the bed. "..I'll come visit again soon, maybe next time we can go on a date." he said, with a soft tone.

"..Goodnight Neu.." he said, as he began to leave the room and the hopital and headed towards his apartment.

After spending most of the day in the park, Hazama decides to head over to the nearby hospital. He heard Neu was moved here from New York to be closer to the area. Hazama walks through the automatic sliding doors. The floor plan for this hospital was very different from the one in the big city. This one had more hallways and more turns to get lost in the halls of the medical field. He follows the signs to the front desk.

Hazama walks up to the attendant and says, "Hello, is Ms. Neu Edelweiss avalible for visitation?"

"Yes she is," the attendant replies. "Follow me."

The walk through countless halls and turns until the elevator. They ride up some floors ot their destination. The upper floors were less complex as the main floor. We walk down the hallway to find Neu's room.

"She is right through this door," the attendant says.

The attendant leaves him as a signal to walk through the door. As usual Hazama cannot tell her current state, but he can see Neu has recovered greatly since he last saw her. He pulls up a chair and waits for some response of Neu.

Slowly opening his eye lids. Hikaru roused up from his bed, His vision slowly rearranging itself from his long sleep in the hospital to look around then slowly closed them again and layed back down on the soft pillow as he slept on the side. He then woke up again after realizing where he is. He checked that he was connected to the IV and he is wearing the standard hospital clothing that patients wore.

He must of black out when he pushed himself to much and the person he fought last night wasn't a member of Order XIII. He doesn't have time to relax, he needs to go now. Throwing the blanket off to the side and detaching the IV off from his arm as it leaked onto the floor. Hikaru found his clothes on the sit next to his bed and began to search through them...somethings not right.

He then checked his clothes a second time, nothing.

"I can't sense him...my deck...Cosmo Lord. There....gone." He couldn't believe it his deck was stolen from him. Sure he has taken decks in the past but only to stop chaos from spreading. Rage began to build up inside of him and the best part about this? He knows who did took his deck, Who took away Cosmo Lord from him.

"Bastard....I swear, I will find you. But first I need to return to the underground and use my old power." He then dressed up and then walked out of the room, making sure that the nurses didn't see him.

Tsubasa had to leave the company of his friends to figure out what his friend Fei wanted from him by his sudden text. But upon further reading it turns out that Fei wanted him to wait a bit before meeting him which raised his supsicions..so he decided to make a visit to Neu to see how she is doing. The nurses already knew him from his last visit so they allowed him to enter with no issues of course.

Upon entry of the room he tries to walk as slowly as he can so as not to awaken the asleep Neu, as he took a seat next to her he began to stroke her lovely hair in an attempt to keep her at rest.

"..She really is beautiful..." he said, in a faint tone.

She felt a gentle touch. It seemed like it was just in her head so she tried to return to sleep. Eventually, she slowly opened her eyes to be met with the sight of Tsubasa, being really close again and touching her hair. It was like a year ago all over again, where he would do strange things, but she can move now. She quickly jolted up and grabbed his hand.

"H-Huh! Don't do that you idiot!...."

That caused her to use up a good deal of her energy. Neu actually felt quite tired now. In order to get some rest, Neu stayed in the same position, taking deep breaths. Still holding on to Tsubasa's hand, she began to felt relaxed again, slowly moving her hand and interlocking her fingers with his. The feeling made her develop a small, but obvious smile. That was also right before she realized.

"Wait, no!" She quickly pulled away her hand and looked at him, now trying to regain her cool.

"U-h-h-hh-. Hey umm, how are you? Ha...ha..." She asked him.

Neu's reaction to Tsubasa was energetic to say the least, the young lady seemed to be fine with him stroking her at first until she saw it was him, which then lead up to her instinctively interlocking her hand with his.

"...Oh..I see you're awake." he said, giving her small smile, while holding back his giggle. "..Try not to strain yourself."

Generally he did not want to make her feel uncomfortable but he wanted her to know that he cares for her in some form or fashion. She seemed to be very jumpy at his attempts.

"..I've been ok just hanging out with some people,...busy with university though so much work." he said."..How about you? Will I be able to take you out soon?" he asked, getting closer to her as he posed the question, and holding her hand with both of his.

Hazama just finished his day at school when he thought of stopping by to check on Neu. He was driving a black 2015 Nissan Maxima when he pulled up in the parking lot. He found his way to the front desk and as usual, he asked to go see if he could go visit Neu. Since he had been there so many times for the same cause, the attendant just let him go up the elevator by himself to Neu's room, though on surveillance.

He reached Neu's door and opened it. Hazama's face turned from happy to see Neu again, to a complete face of shock. "Sorry, wrong room," he said aloud.

When he opened the door he saw the one and only Tsubaka in the room. But that's not all, he saw him stroke her hair! 

He quickly backed out of the room and shut the door behind him still in a surprised and disgusted look on his face.

"I can go out whenever I can as long as I come back for my check up at night," Neu replied.

Still, a part of her wanted to set her hand free, but at the same time she didn't mind. Her hand felt warm and nice, it was kind of relaxing. The warm feeling reminded her that she was still a human regardless of all the things she's done and can do. She leaned back on her bed and fixed he hospital gown after she did.

Neu's response brought a smile on Tsubasa's face, he was overjoyed that he can spend a day with her after so long, so much so that he ignores everything around him, his eyes and focus fixated on her.

"..No need to worry, i'll make sure to get you back, no problem." he said, with a large smile on his face.

The two exit the room to go on their date, but before they leave Tsubasa notices Hazama standing outside Neu's room, after the little stunt he pulled a few minutes ago.

"..huh..children these days." he said, as he passed by him, making sure that he heard him.

"Mrs. Edelweiss..." Neu slowly read the end of a letter to her which came from the hospital staff.

She was sitting on her bed with nurses all around. They were celebrating her transfer to this hospital today. A weird thing to celebrate, but due to how she treated the hospital staff, they were very fond of her. Neu loved the nurses and doctors in this hospital, they were usually the people who talked to her when there was no one around. The letter came with a bunch of cute stickers from the nurses as well as some nice hand made trinkets and get-well charms. The warth in her heart was enough to make her recover already. She gave the nurses and doctors in the room a hug, one by one and by the end of it she looked down at the letter once again.

Meanwhile they were chanting, "HAPPY HOSPITAL TRANSFER ANNIVERSARRY WE HOPE YOU GET OUT OF HERE SOON AND NOT DIE IN THIS HOSPITAL."

Neu laughed, "I swear you guys..."

Wait. This letter at the end.

"Mrs. Edelweiss"

H-huh...

She turned to face the staff, "Uh.. Guys Mrs. Edelweiss is my mom, I'm not married."
"Oh? Wasn't that your husband who took you out a few days ago?"

Her face turned red, some of the staff panicked and ran to grab their equipment, a doctor instinctively reached for a defibulator. It wasn't anything that serious, she was just blushing really really hard.

"HE WASNT MY HUSBAND AGHHHHHH!!! YOU GUYSSS!!!"
The nurses scoffed.
"OHHH MYY RNGESUS!!!"

Tsubasa had quickly stopped by his house, to grab the gift, then continued on his way towards Neu's hospital, he wanted to make her smile and give her a few more things to look forward to in the future, when she leaves the hospital safely.

"...I hope she'll like it, it sure took a long time to find the right one.." he thought, as he entered the hospital.

Upon entry he was told to head right in by the nurses it was as if they did not care to know where he was going, nevertheless he headed towards Neu's room. Upon entry he noticed that there was a lot of commotion happening in her room, it looked like a celebration of sorts , yet for some reason despite all the happy expressions, Neu seemed to be blushing.

"..Uh..am I interrupting something?" he said, smiling, still holding the bag in his hand.

The nurses and doctors began to clap. This was probably the worst time for him to enter.

"Mr. Edelweiss?" One of the staff asked him, while others pushed him over to the bed where Neu was sitting.
"We would like to tell you that you have a very sweet and wonderful wife, you are a lucky man." The doctor commented.
"WHY ME." She began to blush even more intensely, the nurses didn't think it was possible.
"I guess we should give them some alone time." One of the nurses scoffed, leading the rest of the staff outside the room.
"Alright everyone, better leave the two be, let Mr. Edelweiss be alone with his wife!" A doctor ordered the nurses to exit from the room as well, as he himself walked out.

They all organized themselves into a single file line and walked out in an orderly manner. True professionals, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the way that they acted. That's the reason why Neu liked them so much anyways. The door closed behind Tsubasa and they were left alone again the silence of her room. The first thing Neu did was give Tsubasa a hug.

"My Tsubasaaa I've missed you!" she exclaimed happily. "Ignore the hospital staff though, they're high."

Tsubasa was bombarded by the teases that the nurses and the doctor gave him, calling him Mr. Edelweiss may have sounded nice at first but then it became more and more embarrassing for Neu as she began to blush even more. Nevertheless she greeted him with a hug after the 'professionals' left the room.

"I've missed you a lot as well Neu." he said, hugging her back, bringing her closer to him, and planting a kiss on her cheeks.

Still in her embrace, "..Quite the lively bunch you have my lady." he said, in a joking tone.

She was blushing, but since they were alone now, she felt that she was getting over it. On the other hand, Tsubasa was still feeling it fresh and everything. Oh boy a kiss on the cheek, but Neu didn't think that was enough. So while they were still hugging, she dragged him down and had him lay on top of her on the bed.

"That's better," she smiled. Then she kissed him, feeling his body on hers. It was kind of strange to her that he didn't visit the day after their date, but she assumed that he had other things to deal with and couldn't do so everyday. Even so, she waited patiently for him, having lost him for a year before, and now she was willing to wait however long it took, even though a few minutes without him felt longer than the hundreds of years that she spent within the Rift.

"Alright so, what's up?" Neu asked him while running her right hand through the back of his head. Her other was still around him as if they were still hugging.

Apart from being overjoyed by seeing her, he was glad that she was feeling a lot better from the way she acted. He was not one to complain though, after being pulled in a position where he was laying on top of her on the bed. His only worry was how he would get her to see his gift, not that he wanted to let go of her.

He used his free hand to stroke her face gently as they kissed, "I wanted to come visit you yesterday by the way, a few moments felt too long, but I had to pick up something for you." he said, as he lifted the bag in his hand for her to notice. He moved his free hand from her face to her waist and pulled her closer to him as he kissed her again, "I hope you'll like it." he said, smiling.

After finishing his load of college work at home, Hazama decided it was about time to show his face to Tsubaka and give him a little something. He takes his car into the city to park it in the parking lot of the hospital. As he has done countless times before, Hazama asks to visit Ms. Edelweiss. I am here because word on the street is Neu and Tsubaka are something now. He rides the elevator up and takes his path to her room. He hesitated a moment before entering. I wonder even if he remembers me. Though he has to because he adressed me when I tried to visit Neu a while ago. He puts his hand on the doorknob. Though he slowly takes it away. I dont want to disturb them and whatever affair they are having in there. He walks over to the bench outside of Neu's room and puts in his headphones. He plays the song Demolition by District 78 while he waits.

Hey eyes glittered along with the dress. She sat up and slowly go on her feet to feel out the dress and compare its length tho her heigh. By how it looked, it was a perect fit. It black and mostly plain aside from the glitter, very similar to the usual black dresses that she wore with less frills and thincker shoulder straps. It also defined her body more. She looked at Tsubasa as she moved around and placed it on herself.

"I like it! Thanks... Hohohoo so you want me to wear this for youu? I s2g I will man." she happily said to him.

A sigh of relief echoed in Tsubasa's head, he was glad that she found the dress likeable and to him he wanted to see her shine like she did the day they went on their first date. Though it was clear that no matter how dress designers tried they would never be able to make a dress shine as much as she does in his eyes.

"..eheh, I'm glad you liked it, I was looking around the store for so long until I found something that suited you." he said, smiling.

"I would love to see you wearing that, though I doubt that it would shine as much as you do everyday in my eyes by being Neu, the Neu I fell in love with..." he said, placing his hand behind his head. "I guess I took so long finding this one because I wanted a dress that would look jealous of the person wearing it."

His comment may have sounded like a compliment about her appearance but in reality to him she shined just by being herself, it was the reason he fell in love with her in the first place.

She laid the dress on one end of her bed and sat where Tsubasa was on the other end, she held his hand, enjoying the silence in the room. The state of having no words between them was enough  her. She could feel the cozy feeling in his hands and hear heart beat for him. Eventually she had to break off the silence since she was just eager to talk to him. She rested her head on his shoulder as well.

"So I saw you fight against Yukino, I was cheering you on and you were so cool!"

Neu, your omnipresence is showing.

"Was it fun? Fighting with all the others in the Cardfight Club today too? Oh man I wanna join!"

The warmth of Neu's hand truly sent a calming feeling to Tsubasa's body, he had been tired from all of the events that occurred to him as of late, but her presence really calmed him down. He intertwined his fingers with hers as he lightly placed his head on hers, letting out a little sigh of relief and happiness.

"Oh yea those fights were amazing, one thing I found interesting was Yukino's 'psychic' powers that was interesting, and Hana has gotten a lot better than before, it really was enjoyable..." he said, the excitement from the fights taking his attention at that moment.

It did not take him long to realize that she was not there when these fights occurred,"...Wait hold on..you weren't there when these fights took place..how did you know about them Neu?" he asked.

She listened to how her omnipresence was the last thing that he questioned. She giggled a little while turning her head to get a good look of his face.

Oh, his human-ness is so cute.

"Don't. Question. The. Messiah!" She playfully shoved him a little, laughing while she did. "It's just part of my powers and stuff,  I can just seeee things. It gives me something to do while just waiting around here at least."

Apart from being surprised, Tsubasa was rather happy that she was keeping an eye on him he felt both safe and loved by her. Nevertheless her shove made him laugh for a bit before he decided to react.

"..heh." he said, as he regained his balance and lunged at her, holding both of her hands with his and pinning her down on the bed as well as intertwining both of their fingers. "..I'll question it..when my girlfriend is the messiah here..." he said, his eyes piercing hers.

His look was serious for at most 3 seconds after what he said before he instantly started chuckling, " hehe, you really are amazing Neu." he said, as he relaxed and placed his head on her chest, and turned his head to the side. "I'm glad you're watching over me..."

That was certainly surprising, but she didn't mind. She tightened her grasp on his fingers and gave him a wink, basically signaling and telling him.

"Good job man!"

She was blushing here, at the word, "girlfriend." Neu was giggling more since she was having a lot of fun right now, his touch gave kept coming to her and then he rested his head on her chest. He was more bold that she gave him credit for.... Tsubaka. When she watches over him she often cheers him on, of course it isn't just him, but the rest of the Vanguard world in general, how its growing and everything. To her though, the best part about it all was getting to watch over the one who she wanted to protect. This feelings that she had of wanting to protect someone what was it called again?..

"Putting your head there?... Does it feel nice...? I probably smell like a hospital. Haha..." She was about to say it.

"Tsubasa, I lov-..."
"Mrs. Edelweiss you have a visi-" The nurse stopped upon seeing them. "I-I'm so s-sorr- Sir!.... Mr. Edelweiss for! Intruding with you and your wife. You have a visitor though! Sorry ! Sorry!" The nurse bowed and ran off.
"I SWEAR THESE. P R O F E S S IO N A LS!" Neu screamed at her and then broke into a laugh.
"I guess you have to get off... What a waste, we coulda just stayed like that for awhile."

Her touch and her presence truly made him mesmorized he could not ask for a better situation, as he wanted to stay like that forever if possible. Unfortunately, a visitor had come asking for her so he could not, nevertheless he got up and smiled as he helped her sit up on the bed with his hand on her lower hip.

"Too bad, but i'm sure we'll get to spend some time together again really soon...my love." he said, winking at her and kissing her hand.

With that he sat next to her awaiting the appearance of her visitor, and wondering about what she was about to say,"...Back there....she was about to...Oh Neu.." he thought, as a  smile started to appear on his face.

After the nurse went to tell the people inside that a visitor was here, Hazama turned off his music and coiled his headphones around his phone.

"You are able to proceed in," the nurse said to him as she gestured her hand toward the door.

He walked forward for the second time and put his hand on the knob. Hazama could just feel the eyes on the other side waiting to see who has come visit them. He turned the knob and pushed the door open.

"And look who it is," he said that as a greeting. "I knew I could find both of you here."

She was very aware that he was outside and waiting, she was able to see him, that's why she didn't even need to look at the door as he came in. She was actually looking at Tsubasa, playing with hands and clapping with them in between hers.

"Of course we will be able to! You'll take me out somewhere next time and more importantly!" She laughed. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THE NEXT DATE RIGHT?"

Neu was just having too much with Tsubasa and got caught up in the moment that she forgot that he was waiting outside, or, she just chose to pretend that she didn't know. There was an intention in her mind to actually let him in, it just wasn't anytime soon though, at least, as long as Tsubasa was around. The face of the one who had been giving her the letters and even the money that she deposited into her bank account a year ago. For some reason though, she couldn't point a finger as to why he was still coming back after a year.

He is first greeted by Neu when he steps through the doorway. She responds to him wotha bit of tease in her tone.

"Surprisingly, I am not here for you," he starts off. "Though I could be for some answers, but this time I am here for someone different." His gaze shifts over to Tsubaka. "In matter of fact, it is you. I know right. Never in a thousand years would I expect to have anything to do with u either. I have a little something for you."

Hazama goes to his bag and pulls apart the drawstrings binding the bag together. Within the bag, he opens the only deck box on his person. He pulls out the top card from the deck and reveals it to Tsubaka between his fingers.

"Beautiful art isn't it, Death Army, Cosmo Lord," he says to Tsubaka.

Neu's happy nature really made him relax that much more, she was enjoying her time with him as much as he was, now what was left was to get this situation with this visitor over with.

"hehe you can count on it, I would love to take you out again, and of course I'll pay next time...it'll make me feel more like..what did they call me?..Mr.Edelweiss?" he said, with a joking tone.

As the visitor entered the room, Tsubasa expression went from happy to neutral in two seconds flat, seeing Hazama after so long and after the situations where he tried to get to Neu truly bothered him, nevertheless he indulged him for her sake.

"...What do you want me to say about that card?" he said, curiousity entering his mind as to why he is using Nova Grappler now.

Amon had visited the hospital late yesterday, they had to keep him in for observation due to the intensity of his injury he got from the gang fight at card capital. His room was plain white and clean, expected of a hospital room.

Amon's was shirtless with only bandages covering his upper body, his muscular toned torso gained from his training . The doctor's called it internal bruising and slight inner bleeding was caused from the strike the thug gave him to his upper body. "Never doing that again, they can suffer next time" Amon said to himself whilst he got out of the bed. He walked over to the door, he wanted to find a doctor to discharge him. He opened the door and walked into the lobby. Walking down he heard a familiar voice.

"Well, this Death Army, Cosmo Lord belongs to him. As well as these other fourty-nine cards in my bag."

He followed the sound of the voice. it led him to a room. He banged on the wall. "Remind me again why your showing off with the thing I took?" He spoke aloud for Hazama to hear.

This guy was dragging on longer than he needed to. Neu only gets to ever see Tsubasa for a few moments and that's only every few days or so. He was really cutting into their time and worst of all, he was making Tsubasa unhappy while he was around her which is unacceptable. Now on top of that, there's the act of being childish and ludicrous by trying to make this more complicated than it seems. The people involved in this Death Army deck thing, the main two, Hazama and Amon we're really freaking nubbies to her who inject uneeded words and do really dumb actions in an attempt to get taken seriously which they usually never are. Speaking of which, Amon just entered her room, uninvited.

"Welp, that's rude."

She especially enjoyed the part where he had to show off that he took it like someone actually cared because no one probably does. Wait, Amon was a Vanguard unit, she could just lock him. Oh boy.

"Yo man Amon, I kinda want alone time with my boyfriend, like bruh ever spent alone with a succubi... man." This is where she would overdose on medication in attempt to calm the raging emotions "wat" these people gave her, but the doctor said to stop that. "So like, you two.. dating?" She laughed. "Boy, You guyz would be perfect."
 
If she wanted to, she can just get the deck back and poof it Hikaru with a snap of a finger, but her promise to Tsubasa was that she would watch the Vanguard world grow.

So she decided to not to make the deck poof back to Hikaru just yet. She decided to give it a few minutes... or a minute... or less... She kind of wants to get this over with as soon as possible so she can get back to Tsubasa, maybe even Cardfight him.

Neu Edelweiss was in the room, along side a familiar face. Amon debated whether verbal abuse was necessary or perhaps physical abuse. "Neu Edelweiss, I am simply here to take back what I stole from the Underground King and return it. Also had I known you of all people was in this room, I wouldn't have entered.... dressed as I am"  Amon was slightly off with his speech, it was embarrassing for a female to see his  topless body, but some of it was covered in bandages so he shrugged it off and turned towards Hazama.

"I'm going to need that deck back... because the Underground King seem's pretty pissed off as it is, and considering what happened at Card Capital with the pirate thugs... Me actually fighting said thugs before The King and his men in black decided to show up and pretty much beat up the rest of the thugs besides the one that I had broken the arm of. He seemed pretty pissed, so I decided, screw it, do one nice thing, return the deck and stop him hunting your sorry ass". Amon spoke straightforward, leaving little detail out of his story.

"So be a nice guy for once in your life and hand it over.... I mean, he has more than enough on his plate with this gang war, so why not uninvolved yourself and allow me to be the target of his rage?"

Well dang, he better be embarassed cause his body isn't nearly as good as Tsubasa's. Also, this now seems to be between them so they could take outside. Neu was pretty tempted to snap her finger and make the deck go poof back to Hikaru since that's what he wanted now anyways. This would end the whole ordeal... most likely.

"Wouldn't have entered?.. Dressed as you are? Man on a scale of 1 to Tsubasa who is like 1000000000000000000 you're like a 0.4 plus, entering a sick person's room uninvited should be something you don't do in general, unless you're into that I mean, the patient next door coughs a lot, if plagues and afflictions turn Demon Marquises on or something."

She stood up on her bed and called for a professional. Well, not that she had to, but she needed to do her nightly check-up. Neu also took the dress that Tsubasa gifted to her and placed it inside her dresser, arranging a few other things within it. Then she carefully tok a few steps and turned on her TV to start watching he nightly shows, preparing tea all the while.

"Uh, excuse me." She would say as she walked past the two as she was making coffee and getting snacks for two.

It was one of those "Once in a blue moon" Days off for Neo. After waking up and doing his morning routine, Neo decided to take a walk to the hosiptal. There was someone very special he had to visit that he hadnt seen since the circuit in New York.

"I wonder how shes doing.." Neo asked himself while walking

When Neo got to the hosiptal, he asked the clerk if he could see Neu Edelweiss. The clerk gave Neo the room infomation and Neo headed to Neu's room. Neo got off the elevator and walked up to the room and noticed Amon there with her.

"Well this is a nice surprise" Neo said

Amon just gave a look of somewhat a depressing nature, he remembered that he is standing in the room of his worst enemy and to top it off, the other person he practically hated was also in the confined space.

"How the hell do you people even put up with a stuck up spoiled rich brat like Neu? I swear the divine intervention required for this must be huge" he spoke under his breath, making sure no one heard him.

Suddenly , Neo appeared. "Oh good, the second person i'd be searching for the moment I get discharged from this hospital, You owe me a battle do you not, Neo?"

She started laughing, comedy gold... oh the irony.

"Yeah I heard that. Ah, Divine Intervention you say? Like if it were to rain outside eight now?"

Neu told the skies to rain and so it did. "And thunder were to strike down," and so it did. Just outside the general area of the hospital was a good deal of rain.

"Maybe if you put a shirt on?" A black shirt suddenly appeared on the ground in fromt of Amon. "Or maybe I made a gust of wind blow indoors?" and so it did, causing a few things on the table to fall over. "And the things that fell over suddenly just jumped into their original place?" Yep, it was like nothing happened. "How about I make that door disappear?" Yep, the door was gone. "... and appear beaneath your feet" The door was now beaneath Amon, slowly opening. "Watch your step."

After a good laugh she snapped her fingers and everything returned to normal.
"Hey Neo, nice to see you after a year. Yea I'm alright."

Wait... more people? Will Neu ever get the alone time that she wants with Tsubasa? Find out next time.

Once Amon and Neo entered the room, it began to seem smaller than it was in reality. "Damn it Amon, Neo, this was supposed to be between Tsubaka and I only," he said to the other two that just walked in. His gaze shifts to Amon. "As for you, your not getting this deck back because the reason I came here was to have Tsubaka take it and give it to Hikaru. Reasons are is I dont have the time to deal with people who get their decks stolen by a person so weak such as you, Amon."

Then, his gaze shifts over to Neo, "And why are you here? This doesnt seem like the circumstances you would show up in."

Now he finally adresses Tsubaka, the origional reasons why he was here. He hands over the deck to Tsubaka, "Take this and give it back to him. And dont let this pitiful Amon take it away."

"And last, but not least, Neu," he says to her. He bends over so he can whisper into Neu's ear without anyone hearing, except for the exception of Tsubaka, "I know you possess Link Joker. Just keep in mind, I will always be greatful with helping you on your quest. And just think about it, it's one less thing for you to worry about, thus you can spend more time with your lover. Keep that in mind."

Amon stood phased by boredom by Neu's cheap tricks. "I take that back...you're just a stuck up spoiled rich brat, you are one with a large ego to boot". Amon at his point was debating on whether going back and beating the living hell out of the thugs that attempted to rob Card Capital that injured him was a better idea than listening to a person that practically insulted him. He decided to instead do the sane option and create conversation.

"So Neo, when can we have that...." Amon was cut off by a nurse walking into the room.

"Excuse me, Mr. Tsukino, you are not meant to out of bed, let alone walking around the ward. You suffered internal bruising and slight internal bleeding due to the strike you took to the stomach." Amon was ignoring the nurse. "Neo, when can we have that cardfig..." Amon's ear's pricked for a moment and he stopped mid-sentence once more. "What did you just say?" He addressed the nurse with a serious look.

"I said, you also have a visitor Mr. Tsukino. Your younger sister, I believe her name is Yuri. She is waiting in your designated room, the doctor told me to find you and tell you this."

Amon nodded to the nurse. "My apologies, please if you don't mind going back and informing her I will be there within a few minutes I'd appreciate it" The nurse agreed and was thanked by Amon just before she left to inform Kurai's sister. "Neo, if you wish to keep your promise of a fight, then come find me later on in the hospital. As for you Hazama, I shall let what you said about me slide for once, since I have something to do more important now. Lastly,you, man who Neu over there has an obsession with... I don't know how you put up with it."

Amon left the room and headed back to his room to meet with Yuri, Kurai's younger sister whom he treats and see's as family.

Quest?..

Her current quest right now is to just watch over Earth and Cray. Link Joker and the Rift haven't been givig her the best vibes as of late aside from Neon Messiah and Asleep Messiah, but she's been leaving it to everyone to take action. Of course, she had to give everyone some R&R as well. Amon thankfully left the room. The last part of her cheap trick would actually be locking him, but with him leaving, crisis averted.

"Uh. Yeah so like Hazama I can just bring that deck back to Hikaru first of all." The deck disappeared and was now with Hikaru, appearing whenever it would convenient for him. "Right now I kind of just want some alone time, gahh."

"Yeah Neo we should hang out sometime, but right now honestly is a baad time sorry." This was going on long enough, maybe they go spend time in her apartment next time.

"Fair enough," he replied to Neu. He still searches his bag for someother things he had packed with him for the day. With about half a minute worth of scavaging around. he finally fown what he was looking for. He pulled out two pieces of paper and a pen. On each of the papers, he wrote down the same ten didgets and handed them to both Neu and Tsubaka.

"This is my number," he said to both of them. "If in any case you need  or want to get a hold of me, call this number. Though to be clear. Just because I gave you both my contact information does not mean we are friends, got it.

He pulled the two strings to close his bag and started to walk to the door.

Tsubasa found the way the two who entered her room rather amusing, each of them were so loud and so full of themselves, trying their hardest to show off or appear special. Nevertheless Tsubasa remained silent for most of the ordeal he did not want to rush into things and cause a spectacle in front of Neu.

When Amon was leaving the room, Tsubasa finally decided to speak to him, "...How I put up with it..?..heh trust me she's more than any of you kids can ever become, there is nothing to put up with..though I imagine it must be hard to admit how helpless and pathetic you are in front of her with that ego of yours." he said.

As Hazama began to leave the room,"..Mind your own business kid..she knows what is best for her, but clearly you don't..showing off with a stolen deck...heh you certainly know how to hit a stronger level of low every day...she does not need help from someone like you." he said.

Neo left shortly after he came so the only thing Tsubasa could do was give him a nod as he left, he then turned his attention to Neu using his hand to bring her closer to him as he began stroking her hair.

"..You ok?" he asked. "I did not want to make a spectacle in front of you, otherwise those two would have been out cold the moment they came in."

"They sure know how to turn a situation to it's worse.." he said, letting out a slight sigh.

After they left, it was just her and Tsubasa again. Finally... peace. "No worries, its not like they really did anything bad. At least Hikaru got his deck back now. They all just came at the bad time. Since... you know..." As she paused she placed her hand on his chest and gave him a quick kiss. "We were kind of in the middle of something weren't we?" 

Alone at last...

"By the way, I've been messing around with My Battle Sisters. These nuns with guns gotta serve the Messiah to the fullest." she gave him a wink a little laugh. "Maybe later on we can fight a bit."

The atmosphere was finally beginning to be more relaxing like before, with a quick kiss from Neu, Tsubasa was now a bit more calm and happy overall. Her actions for Hikaru really did touch his heart, although he did not know the man properly he had heard of him, nevertheless he was happy to be reminded just how thoughtful Neu always was.

He carried Neu from her place on the bed and onto his lap, and gave her a kiss, "..I'm glad it's just the two of us again.." he said, as smile gradually formed on his face.

At the mention of a cardfight Tsubasa was immediately excited, cardfights with Neu were always his favourites as they were by far the most fun and most challenging he would go through for long periods of time. "..I would love to have a cardfight with you." he said, placing hand on her back and bringing her closer to him, setting her head on his shoulder as he embraced her.

Neu was feeling the heat now. A relaxing kind. She hugged Tsubasa and eventually they just laid next to each other, hugging amd talking for hours, just talking about anything that cane to mind. It was the kind of conversations where they bonded simply by saying whatever they wanted and enjoying the company of one another.

Neu held his hand and sat up, scratching her eyes a little. "Mmm.. so you said you're going to university? I forgot to mention that I finished with a degree huh..."

The time Tsubasa spent with Neu was something he would never forget, just being able to talk freely with her, understanding each other and spending some alone time altogether was well worth all the wait. It may not have seemed like they had spoken for a while in their opinion, but in actuality they had spent hours just talking about anything that they felt like, while in each others arms.

He sat up next to her still holding her hands,"Yea I had started a while back, but overall I would not say it's that difficult, nevertheless that's amazing that you already got your degree." he said, smiling and giving a thumbs up with his free hand.

A thought had crossed his mind at that moment, he remembered how she mentioned that she was training with the battle sisters, "..Shall we have some fun?" he asked, taking out his deck in front of her and giving her a wink.

Neu had a good time playing with her Oracle Think Tank deck. She didn't feel right at home while playing it, but Vanguard games were fun as always, especially with Tsubasa. She could've sworn that he just added Blaster Blade to his hand seeing as how he got the card every single game. She got him good during a few games and he did with her as well. The batch of games were great like every fight with him. By the end of them, she was laying down a little tired, but she was smiling.

"Nice games man." she said.

As expected the cardfights with Neu were incredibly enjoyable, though it seemed that Neu was somewhat jealous of Blaster Blade Liberators as he came to Tsubasa's aid every single game. Nevertheless the results of the fights made Tsubasa wonder if his deck was ready for what Yukino warned him about, he cared for everyone he's met especially Neu, so he wanted to make sure that he had the strength to protect her and all of his friends.

"..Those were some incredible games Neu." he said, a smile forming on his face due to the fun he had with her.

He got up from the bed and helped Neu relax on it as he took the cards and set them aside,"..Get some rest my love.." he said, planting a gentle kiss on her head. "..I'll come visit again.." he said, picking up his deck and leaving the hospital room.

As he continued his walk down the hallway only one thing was going on in his mind,"..I will protect you.." he thought.

Daisuke ran into the hospital with all of his friends and even the scrawny boy in tow. The seven foot giant man was holding all of them along his arms, body, and shoulders attracting the attention of many as he ran in. The wounds all over his body as well as those he carried dictated that the fight wasn't limit to cards alone, typical among the slum dwellers. His stench caused many to turn away, and the sight of him had multiple citizen already prepared to call the authorities and keeping a close watch on him. He ignored all of that and made a mad dash to the front desk. His heavy breathing and grunting along with his well molded muscular body sending the signal for others to move out of his way.

The man was a walking ambulance.

"YOU HAVE TO HELP MY FRIENDS! I-I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM!" He leaned over to the desk, still carrying multiple bodies.
"S-Sir calm down!" The man on the front desk was dumbfounded. The sight of a giant right from the fairy tales caused him to shiver, not only that, but his strength to carry multiple large bodies at once was a sight to behold as well. "We'll get them a room immediately. W-What happened to them?"
"I DON'T KNOW. I JUST WENT TO GREET THEM ONE DAY LIKE THEY USUALLY WOULD BUT THEN THEY WERE ACTING STRANGE... I DID MY BEST TO STOP THEM BU-..."
"You're all from Umano?"
"YES."
"Do you even have enough to cover the expenses?"
"I'LL WORK HERE AND DO WHATEVER THE DAMN HELL IS NECESSARY, JUST TAKE MY FRIENDS AND GIVE 'EM A ROOM!" He yelled out. Suddenly multiple phones were dialed to call the authorities. The hospital guards were already on their way.
"S-Security!"

"DAMMIT WHAT'S COME OVER THEM... NOT ONLY THEM, BUT MY HOME AS A WHOLE! I NEED THE POWER TO STOP THIS!" He stood where he was, lost in thought.

The hospital guards came to drag him away, but then they were unable to so they called for more men, about ten. Even their collective efforts to do so weren't enough. They brought in a tow truck INSIDE THE HOSPITAL to drag this man away, but it wasn't enough to break his iron stance. They then brought in more tow trucks. They were still not enough. Eventually the police tried to use tractors and giant monster trucks, but he ended up dragging them along with him as he leaned forward onto the front desk.

"IS THE ROOM FOR THEM READY YET?" He asked in a soft voice full of concern, seemingly unfazed by the whole effort.Too bad everyone interpreted it as a voice full of blood lust and desire to destroy.
"R-Right this way sir..." The police and hospital attendants eventually gave up.

"That was ultimately the most unpleasant thing I've experienced ever."

Haruka was sitting in a hospital chair, fanning himself with his hand nearly panting like a dog. He was firing up a sweat by himself, it wasn't even hot outside. Not sure why, Haruka found himself waking up next to the park fountain of a little angel pouring water from a jar into the pond.

He leaned over in the chair, using his knees as a rest for his elbows to keep up. Haruka was feeling really sick today. His memory was also very sparse as of recently, only having clear memories of the night before. The Regional Hall was getting too crowded and he felt nauseous so he rested against a wall for a little bit. Before he knew it, angel fountain in the park. It was such a weird coincidence.

"Man I'm so tired.. and I need food too." He woke up in the middle of the afternoon after going to sleep rather early the night before, so it was weird to think he was still so groggy. However he hadn't eaten much today and the day before he ended up consuming lots of pineapple products anyways. Wasn't that fulfilling.

"Ughhh and they won't give me a room to rest in this suckssss!" Haruka whined, leaning back in his chair, stomach growling loudly.

"W-We can take them to their room ourselves sir!..." The worker stuttered.
"NO! THESES ARE MY FRIENDS, I SHALL TAKE THEM TO THEIR BEDS!" He refused.

After taking all of those whom he carried into their respective rooms, he decided that heading out onto the hospital lobby would be the best course of action. He washed his hands as well as his face within the hospital restrooms before doing so, the very process itself must have taken an entire town's water supply. He looked at himself in the mirror, his face and hair soaking in water, a menacing glare stared back at him on the mirror.

"HOW CAN I HELP RESTORE MY HOME?"

He headed out and slammed the restroom door, causing it to shatter into fifty pieces. "OOPS." Upon seeing what he accidentally did, he made a mad dash back to the hospital lobby as planned. While looking around for a place to sit, a empty seat was open next to a white haired scrawny man. There were many others, but the hair was reflecting off light and stuck out like a shore thumb. Upon sitting next to him and taking up two chairs, he looked towards him to realize that he was looking rather unhealthy.

"ARE YOU OK MAN? WHAT THE HECK WHY DON'T THEY GIVE EVERYONE ROOMS HERE!? THE BUILDING IS SO BIG!" he asked, then he started digressing into complaints about the healthcare system.

"E-Eh..." Haruka shook at every step the man took. Literally. Not just from fear, but the floor beneath him was quaking at his footsteps. Kind of makes you wonder how he didn't notice them a few moments ago. Looking up... and up..... and up. He finally saw the man's face. He was at least a foot and some taller than Haruka and made of pure muscle and steroids. Maybe not steroids, but Haruka honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was on them.

"I'm just not feeling so great today. Needed a bed to rest in..."

You will be fine, Haruka. Just give it some time, eat something maybe.

Haruka unconsciously started to nod vacantly in the tall man's direction. He shook his head to clear his conscience for a moment, then yawned and stretched again. Rumble rumble. This time it wasn't the mans' feet making that sound, but Haruka's stomach. Still starving. Being a human with two entities was getting really difficult. Sera was demanding a bit too much it felt like...

"I never caught your name,... sir? Thanks Obama indeed... Yeah..-.. Yeah, yes.... Okay health care sucks. Sir. My name is Haruka ,yes." Haruka was trying to break the man out of his health care tangent but it took a little while to finally break out a response. He wasn't pure muscle after all. He was a very thoughtful, albeit terrifying individual. Smart, and scary. Assets man, assets.

He took a quick sniff of the little man, using his ability to sense good or bad intentions of a person just by how they smelled. The kid was clear as fresh water, and then it hit. He smelled a stench that smelled like nothing, but pure putrid evil just for a moment and then it quickly disappeared. The few seconds were enough for him to turn away and cough, but suddenly, it became a clear and pure scent again.

"SORRY ABOUT THAT, MUST HAVE BEEN MY IMAGINATION." He stood up, almost breaking the chair with the force of his downward push. "I'LL GET YOU SOME FOOD!"

...and so he did, a whole mountain of it. All of them would help the boy become less scrawny, and have muscles more defined like his. He made a quick dash and back, returning with the pile of food within seconds. When he did, the boy was gone. No white haired kid in sight.

"I GUESS.. MORE FOR ME... THOUGH THAT BOY REALLY DID NEED THIS FOOD..." He said with a hint of concern. "TIME TO DIG IN."

There was a beige ceiling and white walls surrounding him. Haruka had administered himself into the hospital earlier that morning when he woke up in shock trauma. His heart was beating irregularly and his nerves were not only fried, but experiencing a severe burnout in his nervous and circulatory systems. Inner body combustion, very rare and nearly never happens in a human's lifetime.

He laid in his hospital gown, currently staring out the window. It was bleak out, nearly raining. Haruka vaguely remembers being in the hospital a bit ago, but he couldn't remember for the life of him how long he'd been out or when the hospital admitted him into the room. Haruka passed out once he came in and signed the form. He was hooked up to a catheter and his body was in a slight stasis. He could very barely move around, so walking away was out of the question. He took a good minute or so of crawling his arm across the table to reach his cell phone on the counter along with his glasses. They took his contacts out for him apparently.

No new messages.

No missed calls..

Haruka was an empty pit from that. He hadn't seen anyone he recognized in days, and yet, nobody has tried to contact him or talk to him. Ever since the culture festival, everyone he knows has been away or off doing something.

"Ah... Where is everyone?"

The skies were still a barren, ugly greyscale. Haruka frowned, feeling his heart sink as his weak voice cracked under pressure. He laid back in bed, slightly sweating still.

I miss everyone.

Sera remained quiet.

Overlord spoke nothing.

Haruka fell silent altogether, save for his slightly off-kilter breathing.

Alexander dashed with a speed that would make even the unit Galahad proud, swerving through the people in his hurried dash as he arrived at room 107 in a jiffy. He was sweating bullets, heaving much like before when late to the club meeting. The words "Harooooooookaaaaaaaa saaaaaaaan" could have been heard echoing through the halls before arriving at his destination.

As he entered the room and placed his sight on the patient as he rushed over, screaming the words "My friendo" in a failed attempt at English, worry resting on his tired features.

Walking through the hallway was Shiki, his eye and forehead poorly bandaged and his clothing overall dirty, his face decorated with a look of confusion as he once again had no idea where to go. Scratching the back of his head he marched forth, and nearly got ran over by a human being faster than a jet fighter, and ofcourse, curosity won the great battle and he just had to check out what happened.

This lead him to a room with his old friend, Haruka, who was hospitalized. Shiki wasn't aware what happened to him or how to act, but then again he looked like a mess too so they matched together, in a way.

"Hey!" he exclaimed at his friend, and waved his arm at him.

The sound of Alex's voice was shocking as Haruka had started to doze off after the aches and pains dulled for a bit and became numbness again. Suddenly jolting awake, he very nearly had a seizure or something at how it scared him.

But you'd never notice because all that happened was his eyes slowly opening a bit more than before, and a his face muscles slowly bending into a smile. He was glad Alex showed up, considering he's the only person he's been able to find in the past few days. Originally he was going to contact Hana or Yukino, but he knew they'd be off doing something really important as of recently and he didn't want to intrude. As for Tsubasa and Seifer, he wasn't sure if bothering them over text was wise considering his condition. He needed the least amount of judgement as possible. Alex was perfect to contact.

"Thank you. For coming." Haruka's voice was barely a level above a whisper. He nodded very slowly, gesturing him to seat himself near the bed. He had something to tell him. It wasn't super important, but he needed to make sure everyone was okay. He got a text message a bit ago from someone besides Alex, but he didn't have enough strength to reach for it and read it at the time.

"Alex. My phone. There's a text from someone, can you read it?" He was talking about the one from Yukino mentioning about the Cardfight Club headquarters. But Haruka had no idea why they needed a headquarters, or what was going on. Haruka was oblivious to the reverse epidemic currently taking over the area it seems, because that entire time, Sera had been in control and Haruka was in a deep slumber. He was none the wiser, essentially.

Shiki showed up as well? Seems he wasn't the only one in a poor condition. Haruka smiled to him as well, nodding to join them. He would say more, but even speaking causes blood to curdle in his lower larynx. He was dying and dying fast, until the medication and rest finally kicked it.

"Ya-he-llo." Haruka managed to whisper out emphatically.

"The Training Facility will be our headquarters in fighting against the invaders." Alexander repeated in a confused tone, having given a friendly wave to the stranger earlier as well before having repeated the text from Harukas phone.

"Uh, the heck did I miss?" He asked, blinking. It seems he chose a bad time to go off for some odd cardfight training in the woods.

Shiki entered the room, just sort of standing there as the other person read a message outloud to which he couldn't help but ask
"Training Facility and invaders? This is roleplaying on a whole different level than I'm used to.."

"Oh! Have you been mugged by some person in a dark alley too? He beat me up so hardcore I don't remember anything between that and waking up here." he added, looking at Haruka and completely ignoring the fact that he can barely speak, or rather, he didn't realize in what kind of state his friend was.

Haruka heard Alex's message subtly nodding and gesturing to set the device down. With a good amount of Haruka's energy, he pushed himself to a sitting up position, using his pillow to support his back in the meantime. He was worse for wear than he thought he'd be. He was not only affected on the inside, but the parts of his bodies that felt like they were fried, well, were fried. There were bits of skin on his arms and fingers that were blackened and reddened by the static Sera had implanted into people.

Haruka still had no idea what was going on, so he just bit his lip, shaking his head slightly to get the thoughts free from the clasps of his mind. No more thinking about it. He had to get caught up with what was going on.

"Shiki, Alex. I need you guys... To do me a favor." Haruka sputtered up a few drips of blood on the bed sheet. Red spot on a white cover. Nice. He wiped his lips with his sleeve, trying is hardest to convey this message before it all came up again.

"I need your help. Please help me." Haruka took a few weak breaths in rapid succession to keep the blood from spewing out of his throat. It burned and tasted a lot like iron to him. Gross.

With another few quick breaths, he gripped his blanket slightly, somewhat frustrated by his inability to act on his own.

"I can't remember. The past few days..." Cough cough. "I keep passing out and waking up... a lot." Cough cough. More iron on his tongue. "If you Yukino, or Hana, or anyone; if they ever ask about me.... Tell them I'm fine, and to not worry about me." Haruka nearly coughed up a lung after that. He forced himself to lay back down afterwards, clenching his teeth together to keep anything from coming back up.

"I don't think they'd want to see me like this." Haruka became frail of a sudden. A set of nerves across his body shot online all of a sudden, causing him to panic for a moment about being able to feel more things in his body. The sweat went down a moment after, but he was still worried nonetheless. Has to be more prepared for stuff like that.

Alexander was speechless, the condition of his good ol pal Haruka looking worse for wear. He blinked, eyeing him with worry as he listened to his words.

"I don't know how I feel about lying.... But I'll try at least, man." His voice showcasing his worry over Haruka and the situation at hand, pausing for a moment before speaking again. "What happened to you though?" Asking curiously.

Haruka blinked, unsure of what he was asking.

Oh.

"I don't remember." Haruka simply put, he doesn't know why he was like this. Each day he woke up in different places, feeling worse than before. Today was the worse, but at least he woke up somewhere remotely close to where he passed out. That was comforting to some degree.

"I'm sorry. You can tell them..." Cough. "Just don't make it sound too bad."

Haruka was sure Yukino would have a panic attack or something if she saw Haruka spitting up blood like it was a Casual Friday event or something. Hana would definitely be annoyed at him for trying to die without a good reason and order doctors and nurses or something to fix him. Tsubasa and Seifer might get too friendly and try to help out of bed or something and Haruka still can't feel anything below the chest really so he would probably just ragdoll onto the floor at that point.

"I'll be fine. Probably."

Realistically? Not.

Truthfully didn't have many plans and had actually spent the night in the hospital room with his rather bloody pal, having found a modest place to sleep in what is known as the wonderous invention the chair.

His eyes had just opened, though he was still in a groggy state and not being able to make much of his surroundings in his half asleep delirium. A huff of air exhaled by him as he stretched, it seemed it'd take him a few minutes to fully awaken to say the least.

Haruka had spent a majority of the previous night silently staring at the ceiling, listening to the stories Alex told of his training and his time in the wilderness recently. Haruka was genuinely intrigued in the stories, he just had a hard time expressing the awe in them, so he just smiled and nodded, occasionally requiring his pillow to be readjusted at several intervals of the evening.

It was nice to finally hear someone talk about themselves openly, and Haruka was very happy he even got a visitor. It was nice to say the least that somebody came to him. Albeit, invited, but Alex wasn't the closest person to Haruka before so the fact he took the time to come out and even spend the night there was comforting for Haruka's destabilized psyche.

In the middle of the night, Haruka awoke. His body was frail, and it was sore all over. But it was sore all over! He could feel it again! It felt like burns and sores all across his body though, as if he was laid in a coffin of hot coals. His body was definitely in poor shape, but it could move. He sat up slowly, feeling the cracks in his back and spine. Poor shape indeed.

Haruka saw Alex still sleeping peacefully. Haruka wanted to show some gratitude to his friend for sticking with him during the evening. Taking several minutes, probably ten or more, to escape his bed, he walked over to the bag in the corner containing his things. Haruka still had the deck Butler-san let him borrow, because over the trip, Butler-san had upgraded to a different Nova deck anyways, causing Haruka to become the recent owner of it...

With the deck in hand, he placed it on the small coffee table beside Alex, sighing with a grin at the guy. He left a small note, composed swiftly on a sticky note attached to the top card; Ethics Buster.

"Dear Alex,

I appreciate you coming out today to see me, it made me day. It was really difficult to stay up and listen to your stories due to fatigue,  but I really enjoyed every minute of them. I'm feeling very sick however, so if I'm not awake tomorrow morning, just take this gift and go, please. I'll be up later in the day, no biggie. And remember, Stand up, Vanguard!

-Haruka"

Alex was cool, for sure. Haruka would have to remember to invite him out more on better circumstances. Carefully climbing back into the hospital bed, Haruka returned to his slumber....

And he didn't wake up the next morning, or, the next day, for that matter.

Alexander would finally gain his bearings as he had awoken to the world of the living after the deep yet uncomfortable slumber. He let out a pained sigh as he stretched within the chair, having gained slight back pain from the ordeal of sleeping in a chair. He was sure he'd get a earful from his mother when he went back home, gulping at the challenge ahead.

A small sigh holding an essence of despair sounded from him, though then his eyes zoomed to a deck on the coffee table near him. Groggily he moved his hand to clasp it though it hit the note on the top card, picking it up as he skimmed through it. "Huh, I see..." He said with a bit of sadness, though this time his hand stretching to reach the deck after shoving the note in a pocket, eyeing the beast deity cards as both old and new found themselves within the lineup.

"Well, this is a bit ironic, huh..." Chuckling, having used the grapplers awhile back.

"Well, a gifts a gift." Resigning himself to taking the deck and placing it within a bag hecarried with him the day before.  Turning to face the sleeping Haruka before giving a small smile as he spoke in a happy tone. "Thanks for the gift, man. I hope you have a speedy recovery. And don't worry, I'll check by the training facility place for you, wouldn't want to have your girlfriend worry about you heh." Alexander trying to keep himself composed, seeing Haruka in this state causing him some real emotional pain albeit their short time knowing one another. With a tiny wave he took his stuff and headed out, likely straight home for the time being planning to check on the training area soon enough.

The fight had mentally and physically exhausted him to the point of being barely conscious just to hear Hana's speech and with parts of the reverse were destroyed by the masked Diablo. He was knocked out for the rest of the night to morning. It seems his heart problems have ceased to cause any problems for him. Good riddance to that suit of his. Hikaru examined his body he had bandages over his left forearm and on his abdomen. Moving his body carefully he reached for his clothes that were surprisingly in good condition. Figuring that with the suit he didn't need to change clothes. He slowly puts them on not wanting to exert his body to much.

Hikaru walked over to the window and checked outside to see that he was on the first floor...It was time he leaved this place. Jumping through the window and began to run as fast as he could before any of the doctors or nurses realized that he was gone. He grabbed his phone and began to speed dial.

"Hey..Kaori do me a favor and pick up my bike will ya."

Tsubasa rushed over to the hospital with an unconscious Neo grasping at his deck, in his arms, upon entry he shouted to the professionals that were around, asking for a stretcher and some immediate care.

As the doctors performed the necessary procedures they finished and brought Neo to a hospital room, where he could rest, Tsubasa took his deck and placed it on the shelf next to his bed, leaving a note behind that said, "Hope to see you soon my Friend."

With that Tsubasa walked out of the hospital room, but did not leave before asking the nurse about a patient named Hikaru.

"...I'm sorry that patient left already..." she said.

"..That's impossible he was in much pain when- ..he was brought here." he said, trying to contain his surprise.

"I'm sorry there is not much I can do there...he has no family records so I can't do much." she said, with a look of helplessness on her face.

"..I understand..though please do try to keep an eye on Neo I beg you." he said, as he left the premises, entrusting Neo's care to the professionals.

He also took this chance to send a message to Yukino he had an idea what the weakpoint was but he wanted to clarify and hopefully get everyone up to speed, "In that case we should meet up and discuss this weak point with everyone, I don't want more lives to be put at risk, that aside I have a concern that I must address to you."

Tsubasa had carried Neo all the way to the hosiptal. Serveral hours after Tsubasa left, Neo finally woke up and saw that he was in a hosiptal room.

"Where am I? What happened?" Neo asked himself

There was no sight of any doctors around so Neo looked around the room and saw his deck and saw a note from Tsubasa: Hope to see you soon my friend

Neo then just sat there in his hospital bed thinking about everything he did while being Reversed.

"If I was reversed all this time.. What did I do? How much damage did I do? How much destruction did I cause?"

Neo kept asking himself so many questions while hanging his head down shedding his tears. He couldnt believe everything that had happened.

"Tsubasa went out of his way to save me, he even went to great lengths to carry me to the hospital. He did everything he could to bring me back and to make sure I was alright. Then I saw that vision.. All of my friends standing by my side.. This feeling of being alone, the obsession with that power.. Why did I do it?!" Neo screamed crying

"It was never worth it.. That power is not worth it! Any persons true power is stronger then that fake seducing power!" Neo screamed

Just then Neo's deck started glowing and the deck floated in front of him.

"W-whats going on?" Neo said

If you wish to make things right, I will be there; My Vanguard!

Just then a card appeared in Neo's hands.

"Eradicator, Tempest Bolt Dragon" Neo read

Neo couldnt believe his eyes. A new unit had appeared before him to help fight against the reverse. But for now he had to rest. So Neo put his new deck down on the counter and went to sleep.

"Thank you... EVeryone"

He wasn't really sure why he came here. Maybe it was the memories from that night, Sera telling him about Haruka. It was depressing to think about but that was probably the biggest reason he had for coming here. As he wandered the halls, impeded by no one, the crimson eyed brunette noticed a door with a certain name tag on it. Neo was here as well? So he finally got unreversed? That was good. He hesitated for a moment, piecing a few things together in his head before knocking on the door twice, walking inside and shutting the door behind him. He didn't say anything, though his eyes were shut halfway as he strode into the room.

It was the start of a new day. Neo was still in the hospital pondering everything that had happened. Just then he saw someone enter his room and shut the door behind them.

"S-Seifer!" Neo said with surprise

Neo wasnt sure what to say considering he was reversed and wasnt sure how much damage he caused.

"Hey." His voice was even. To even considering everything. There was also the fact that his eyes were the color of blood, and his hip... There weren't any deck cases there. "So I guess you finally got reversed then? Who did it, Tsubasa?" that was the only person who he thought of that could of done it really. It also made the most sense to him since he hadn't seen Tsubasa for a while.

The male shrugged not sure how to answer that. How could he? He had an idea that Neo was the one that reversed Rose but... He wasn't about to mention it. "I really couldn't say. I've had my own issues to deal with since this whole mess started." he sighed a bit before pulling up a chair and sitting down, his eyes still half shut. "Doesn't really matter now... What's done is done."

Neo then tried getting up..

"Seifer, im going back to town with you to help beat the Reverse" Neo said as he tried getting up but was still in alot of pain.

"Siddown, be quiet and recover." he forced the clearly over zealous male, and someone that was his friend, back down into the bed. He refrained from flicking him in the forehead, and just sat back down in the chair. "Even if I were to let you go about trying it... We wouldn't be fighting together. ...I threw my decks away. I'm surprised you didn't notice the missing deck boxes." he tapped the left side of his waist before continuing. "Neo, I can't keep fighting. I can't do anything at this rate. And in the end I'll just hurt everyone if I keep trying..." he paused. He might as well continue telling at this point. "I felt weak. I couldn't do anything for anyone. I lost control of myself, and hurt people I cared about. So I'm going to go into exile. It's the only thing I can do right now."

Neo couldnt believe Seifer got rid of his decks just like that..

"Seifer take this" Neo said handing him Eradicator Gauntlet Buster Dragon

Your going to need a deck, so I want you to use this and continue to fight on" He said

Meanwhile Neo got a text message from Neu and read it with a smile.

"Of course she would be checking up on me" Neo said

Neo then replied Trust me, I didnt forget the bill from last time haha. I will leave as soon as I can for sure. Everything is ok I suppose. Still pondering some things but I might be here for awhile.

While he appreciated the sentiment, the brunette pushed the offering back toward Neo, standing up. "It wasn't a matter of me doing harm with my actions. It was my EXISTENCE that cause others pain. Neo... I'm one of the Generals of the Invaders." he confessed the point that was bothering him as he stood, putting his hands into his pockets, turning to the side a bit. "...Maybe when I'm ready... I'll come back into the fight. But for now, I'm going to go my own way. Isolate myself from everyone." he turned his back to Neo, feeling his phone vibrate again. Right, he still needed to text Haruka back... Or was it Sera that texted him? It didn't matter. It probably wouldn't hurt anything. But when he checked the phone this time it was from... Neu? She'd been in New York? No wonder he hadn't seen her. She seemed unusually hyper through the text, but then again texts don't typically convey emotions correctly. Well, he'd at least have the decency to text her back before disappearing for a while.

'Good to hear everything's alright and that you're okay. Everything here has gone to hell in a hand basket. They'll probably need you more than me.' he left the meaning of the text open ended since he didn't feel like being specific over texts but oh well.

This reply was sent after sending unconcious bodies home by shoving them inside the train in the train station:

Seifer reviewed the text before shutting his phone. She was right but right now, he was still focused on what he felt he needed to do. When Neo spoke up he turned around a bit with a sort of sad smile. "Right now... No one can help me Neo. This is my own doing. My own choice. I thank you for being my friend and caring. So for now this is goodbye. Rest up, and don't do anything stupid... Dogebuster." he poked fun at the other male before leaving the room, shutting it behind him, and making his way out of the hospital. One more thing to do. Pulling his phone out he made a short text to someone.

'I'm not sure which side I'm speaking to. And even if it's false, it's at least nice to see the name pop up on my phone.' after hitting send, he left the area to wander.

Tomoda drives towards the hospital, hoping to enact the next phase of arson and to check if Aoi had ended up at the hospital. He halts at the entrance as he felt a cold chill at the back of his spine. He looked around to see if anyone was near him. Until he saw him.

Awaiting the general was a shadow figure standing on the window ledge of a room above his location. As the general looked up in fear, thunder struck revealing the masked individual Diablo as the mask stared at the general.

The general backed away in fear, the sight must have scared him, as Diablo jumped from the window ledge landing around half a meter away from him, with lightning still shattering the sky.

"Fighters who find pleasure within the suffering of others, aren't worthy of being called Vanguard.....I'll be removing that power now." he said, taking out his deck.

Tomoda screamed in agony has the reverse leaves his body. His reverse unit crumbled before his eyes as it disappeared from his sight. Falling to the cold ground as he hears an engine of a motorcycle. The cyclist then jumped off from his vehicle and rushed over to the fallen general.

"Tomoda!" The motorcyclist then threw his helmet to the side as his blue locks straighten. Aoi had come to his aid and lifted him up slightly. He lifted his eyes up as he looks at the young man. "Aoi..you..came back." He spoke softly has he was still internally in pain. "Of course I came back you idiot, I followed your pattern." Tomoda's eyes widen as the things he had down had came back in full force.

"Oh..god..what have I done..." He's horrified at what he's down and without warning he fainted. Aoi then began to shake him and call him out.

"Tomoda!..Tomoda!.. Don't you dare die on me, you need to enjoy your youth to. You..you Baka!." He still wouldn't respond so he did the only thing he could do. Scream to the sky dramatically."TOOMOOOODDDAAA!" He slammed his fist on the ground.

"You play with fire...and you will get burned." these were the last few words uttered by Diablo as his Dragruler dealt the final sixth damage to Dauntless Reverse, releasing Tomoda of the reverse influence.


"He's not dead general, just unreversed after some time he'll feel better like you did..." said the falcon, as he took off to reach his home before things get too late.

That was when he got a message from Fei, "Hey uh we have a situation, some guy with red markings on his face came upto me saying he had a message to Tsubasa Hayato...he said meet me at the park, where the end shall transpire, H."

"...H huh......now I get it, fine time for me to end this charade." he thought as he continued on his way home stopping at several areas and unreversing several people, the praise that came from anyone around was truly something spectacular even if he did not stay behind to get it fully.

Upon entry to the hospital Diablo took off his mask and took off his coat, switching to the basic black jacket that Tsubasa wears. He makes the case to the doctors and after a mins and some waiting Hazama is given time to rest in one of the hospital rooms, the doctor says that he needs time for his body to gain some energy.

"..Maybe you will understand..someday..my friend." he said, as he placed Hazama's Pale moon deck on the shelf next to his bed, believing that maybe his old deck will help him see things more clearly.

With his deed done he begins to walk out of the hospital room, heading home to do some research, his main priority is to find Haruto.

After he blanked out, his mind was in s completely different place than he was. He started to move a little bit, eyes still shut. It took a little time to actually move his arms and legs. Though there was one thing odd every time he moved. He felt some wire skimming across the edge of his arm. He opened his eyes to find himself in a hospital.

Could he have brought me here? The noise sparked the attention of the nurse in the room. She quickly put down her newspaper and walked over to the bed.

"Mr. Einsnburn, are you feeling better?" She asked.
"Yeah... I guess," he said a bit confused. "But um, who brought me here?"
"I think he said his name was, Tsu. Tsu... Gosh i can't remember his name. Oh and by the way, this person left something for you."
"Oh, was it Tsubasa? And what did he leave?"
"Yep that was his name and he left this.
"She reached over on the desk and pulled over a Vanguard deck.
"This cant be... can it." He started to sit up, but the nursed told him to lay back down.
"You need some rest."
"But, im feeling fine."
"No, you need to rest. At least stay here until late afternoon."
"Okay ill do that." He lowered his back and dozed off.

Neu handed the nurse an empty envelope for Hazama just cause. Tables have turned. She then walked off and returned to work at Shop Handsome.

Tsubasa dropped off Sky at the hospital after making sure that he will be left in good care by the professionals, at the same time he checked on his friends who were at the hospital, like Neo. Unfortunately he was asleep at the time, so all Tsubasa could do was check -up from afar, nevertheless he asked the doctors to check up on Haruto before they left, which thankfully yielded no issues.

"I hope you'll feel better soon my friend..." he thought as they both made their way out of the hospital.

"...Could Sky have been the one who trapped me and kidnapped Haruto...no way...it's not possible...is it?" he wondered, that was when he noticed a small note attached to Haruto, hoodie jacket.
"The fun has only just begun, Diablo."

"....I thought so...I have to get Haruto away from here as soon as possible...the less leverage he can use against Diablo the better, plus I have to keep him safe..." he thought, as he texted Yukno a message.

"Let's get you ready haruto." he said with a smile.
"Oh?" wondered the young man.
