Title: [Link Joker] Aichi's Absolute Determination!
Post by: AloisTrancy on September 28, 2014, 07:28:47 PM
Grade 0:
Star-vader, Brave Fang x 1
Star-vader, Null Chameleon x 3
Star-vader, Meteor Liger x 3
Star-vader, Nebula Captor x 3
Vortex Star-vader, Molybdenum x 3
Star-vader, Pixie Powder x 4

Grade 1:
Twin Star-vader, Turndown Dragon x 3
Barrier Star-vader, Promethium x 4
Star-vader, Bolt Line x 4
Miniscule Star-vader, Mayoron x 4

Grade 2:
Flash Gun Star-vader, Osmium x 3
Companion Star-vader, Photon x 4
Silence Star-vader, Dilaton x 4

Grade 3:
Star-vader, Imaginary Plane Dragon x 3
Star-vader, Blaster Joker x 4

This deck, as the name implies, is meant to mimic Aichi's deck from the anime, using similar card to the ones he's used so far. I'll edit triggers to fit the ones he plays, but aside from that I believe this is the set-up that Aichi himself uses, or similar to it, so this is what I'm going with unit-wise.

The deck should be self explanatory but I'll give a quick run down.
This is an omega lock style deck, based around hitting with Brave Fang/Bolt Line Boosting or with Osmium's attack after locking with either Blaster Joker or Imaginary Plane. It also has defensive options with Turndown Dragon.

Hm yeah if this is a resemblance of Aichi's deck lol. Needs a lot of adjustments since the decks that they use on the show are not nearly as good as what it can be lol.

I'm not sure if you mean my build needs improvement, or if you're saying Aichi's anime deck will when it's released in full.

Blaster Joker really only ever needs itself. The other Grade 3 is just a backup ride and a locker for Dilation. No need to max them out.

Eh with Deletor's being used I'd run 8 g3's.

Deletors don't really change my mind when it comes to how many G3's to run. Especially when woksis punishes you for trying to re ride.
I'd rather just play the turn out with a deleted vanguard and wait to re ride if they delete again next turn.

Plus, one more grade 3 won't make a difference against Deletors.

No real point when Blaster Joker still plays a heavy control/offensive charge game. If it gets a whole field lock, Wokshis can't delete. If it's Zwill or not a full field lock, at worst, you just tank it. You still have Turndown to make up for lost guarding power.

Lol I can't say I agree with this 100% I main LJ you should want 8 g3 legions lol.  can't depend on Turndown to win cardfights lol.

I have yet to see a need for 8 grade 3 in Link Joker and I've been playing them since they come out. I usually do run 8, because I never normally care to have more grade 2's, but I decided this time I want 4 Dilaton and 4 Photon, but I didn't want to  skimp out on Osmium's, so I just cut Imaginary down to 2.

But it's not like the deck requires you run 8, Link Joker is generally fine with anywhere from 6 to 8 grade 3's, and for legions, I definitely don't see why you would necessarily need 8 or why I should want to have 8.

I don't expect turndown to win the fight for me, i expect it to keep me from losing. Simple as that.

Well I never said 8 was required lol but you do make a good point from the way you built it so. It's good.(Just asked what I orginally said outa curiosity not cause running less than 8 is bad lol.)
