Title: Team Thunder Riders [TTR] VS Team Cat Circus [TCC]
Post by: ShackledAlice on June 15, 2014, 12:03:31 PM
Team Thunder Riders challenged Team Cat Circus to a fight. We see the debut of WightKitty (me yay), and that's about it, really.
2 Royal Paladin Decks
1 Gold Paladin Deck
1 Pale Moon Deck
1 Regalia Deck
1 Nova Grappler deck

Gunslinger format.

Participants;
[TTR]
  • Saber - Regalia (Genesis) (United Sanctuary)
  • Slayer - Nova Grapplers (Star Gate)
  • Abraiz - Royal Paladins (United Sanctuary)
[TCC]
  • WightKitt - Silver Thorn (Pale Moon) (Dark Zone)
  • Neymar(NextGenNick) - Royal Paladins (United Sanctuary)
  • Alco - Gold Paladins (United Sanctuary)

MATCHES

1. WightKitt vs Saber -> Saber Wins!

WighKitt's Pale Moon's faced off against the new Regalia Legions! (Put your emblem on the line!)
Long story short, Pale Moons didn't heal when they needed to. Regalia was regalia.

2. Neymar(NextGenNick) vs Saber -> Saber Wins!

Neymar's Royal Paladin legion was definitely a gutsy move against the Regalias. Saber played a great game, as per usual. Tensions running high as half the match went on 4-4 and 5-5 damage. In the end, Regalias won outright with two crits to the damage zone. Best of luck next time, Neymar!

3. Alco vs Saber -> Alco Wins!

Well well, in a shocking turn of events, Cat circus is down to it's final member. As per usual, Saber's Regalias had a strong opening, legioned at ride 3, while Alco's Gold Paladins continued to superior call. The Regalias ended up sacking like hell during mid-game, and was pressured by Alco's Liberator legion. Most of the game was stuck at 4-4 damage.
Alco called Blaster Blade to the rear-guard, disposing of Freya quite easily, and pushing for 5 damage. Saber countered with a smart soulblast next turn, gaining crit+1. Alco guarded with 30k, with Saber needing 2 triggers to go through. He pulled a critical, and then nothing. Alco finished Saber off the next turn with his legioned vanguard, Percival and Aglovale.

4. Alco vs Abraiz -> Alco Wins!

Finally, a Paladin Battle! Alco's Gold Pallas against Abraiz' Royals! Alco started off quite strong, scoring 3 damage to none at grade 3. Abraiz responded with a Sing Saver Dragon, unlegioned. Healing one damage, he ended his turn, with Alco pulling a legion and a full rearguard. He only ended up dealing a single damage, but still put Abraiz on his toes.
Turn end, and Abraiz pulls a legion, with not a single rearguard in sight.

But then Abraiz disconnected. :c

5. Final battle!

Alco vs Slayer! -> Alco Wins!

Slayer's Nova Grappler's against Alco's Gold Palla's. By second ride all-round, scores are 2-2, with Alco having just one more rearguard.  Alco rides Percival, calls another RG and adds 3k to his Rain Liberators for a powerful boost. He gets a heal, but the damage is 2-3, in Alco's favor. He finished the turn with a happy 2-4.
Next turn, Slayer rides Drill Ring, unlegioned. End phase, not a single damage dealt. Alco draws, and legions, and boom the game has been decided. Slayer puts up a Perfect Shield, while Alco reveals 2 crit triggers; sending one to each of his Rear guards. He finished the turn with no damage dealt.
Draw, attack rearguard, end. Slayer Doesn't put up a fight anymore. Alco attacks, dealing a measly one damage. End turn, Draw. Slayer calls 2 rearguards, and checks for Gatling and Transraizer. Alco rides, and performs legion yet again, calling Geriant and Platina Ezel to the rear. He attacks, and that's game!

We'll make sure to massage Alco's shoulders for carrying the team. Congrats on the sweep, Alco!

For the future refference, please post this on your own respective thread(s) in case the Team Battle is held in the period of 2 days or less. However, if its a long scale Gunslinger that will occur in the time of 1 or more weeks, you may create a respective topic for that occasion here. Please note it for the future.
Thank you for reading!
