Metalborgs are relying very much on their rgs and sometimes also on BR to get the 30k they Need so you should try retire the dangerous rearguards very soon. As for the Spike Brothers... try to make the Cards in your opponents Hand smaller by attacking or through Card skills if there are any.

Yeah in some ways yes but if they use BR and Legion it could become dangerous

I would suggest an easy way to beat them, just Lock,Lock Lock! Locking Rearguards in Backrow for no additional boost for Metalborgs, Lock Front Rows for no attacks facing a Spike Bros deck.

There's not a whole lot you can do against these two. Sin Buster is blatantly overpowered. Spikes will beat your face in no matter what you do if they get their Breakride off. If you have any form of disruption (stunning, locking, retiring) kill Laurel as soon as possible for Metalborgs. Otherwise, you need to kill them first, or be a really tanky deck (BR Granblue, Egg Juggler Pale Moon, Spino-Rex, BR Great Nature, CBD) so that you can survive them. If you're specifically Glendios, there are some specific things you can do. Against Metalborgs, lock their Vanguard' booster, as it will make it much tougher for them to get to 30k. If Laurel is on the field, and you're not at 4 damage, feel free to lock a front-row, though, as they'll have difficulty activating Laurel's skill then, or they'll have to skip out on getting Sin Buster to 30k. Against Spikes, save as much guard as you can, and save a Rubidium or two for their final turn. Ensure that Rubidium is used on Frozen Ogre, as the redirect will prevent his skill from activating. This will shut the BR turn down hard, and they'll likely lose shortly after.

I beg to differ.
While locking them makes sense, whether you guard early or Perfect Guard the columns makes no sense, because if played correctly, Spike Brothers will have over 7 attacks during the Legion turn. I've tried them out myself and won by dealing 5 damage in one turn.
Now, to correctly go up against Spike Brothers' Legion, you really just have to guard smart and read your opponent, since, if your opponent has no clue to what he's doing, you're off the hook. Anyways, beware of the Legion turn. If you succeed in living trough it, you can counter it easly unless, I repeat, your opponent knows what he's doing. In which case lock/retire the Backrow/bind the hand/field works. And huge hands help too, but they'll be diminished during the Legion turn, as well.

Yeah in terms of locking units lol. the best counter i found for spike legions is guarding early game with freeze ray deck lol. so when they breakride bloody ogre or legion in general since both like he mentioned can basically one turn kill opponent then when they start atking u just ng with freeze ray on vg and just lock other column etc depending on how they atk but with legions with spike ofc rgs are gonna rush vg 1st giving u freeze ray's skill to lock something else lol. kinda shuts it down. but i dont recomend guarding early game vs spike. if u have alot of shield but vs metalborg i have LJ to have a huge advantage aka CBD usually alawys gets the job done. it's only when they use Daikaiser with Sin Buster and laurel that can cause a little problem if u dont have enough g0's or if they drive check g3's lol and hitting u

If you can't beat them, join them.
PS: Early rush works all the time.

what my ldr said is quite true i run spikes legion myself too and the people that did win me was either locking me with cbd =-= or just guarding smartly
