I was. I was reeeeally expecting her to use the new Musketeers, but the moment I saw that starting vanguard, I knew something was up.
I still like the witch support (as stated above) and might consider using Shadow Paladins just because of them.

That would be an interesting fight I got to admit. If only there's a way to see under clans get the spot light in this season like Murakumo or Tachikaze.
Ren would win hands down, he just needs a Legion that retires his rearguards and he's all set.

I'm assuming you're talking about RFD since he's pretty popular, but to be fair Dragruler is the most recent boss card from Ren and it retires during the Main Phase.

Though you can say what you will about mechanics and core abilities and what have you. In the end it's down to personal taste. Personally, I dislike the army of emo knights and trying to figure out the genders of each unit in the Revengers. I'm gravitating towards Witches due to a promise I made to a friend who adores SP and tried to get me to join them. I told them if there was a female ace or archetype I'd go for, I'd join him and 'ta-dah' there is now...so now he won't shut up about it lol.
The episode it self was very nice and I believe it left for a nice cliff hanger that should be able to be stretched between two episodes. I just hope the fights get equal air time, with as little flashbacks or exposition as possible. I don't want to be watching two episodes for the constant 'shocked' reactions, I want to see the new units, I want to see how they're played, I want action! Explosions! Magic! and.. doughnuts!

I don't know about that. The cardfights this season have gotten shorter for the majority. Can't wait to see if there'll be two-parters again.
I wonder if they'll add a new feature to Legion to not make it boring when they do it and the fight extends for a long period of time. (Ex. They'll most likely have multi-part cardfights for the bigger battles later, they'll probably need the multi-parts to churn out the season for an entire year.
I'm thinking that at the very least, the fights near the end should mostly be multi-part fights.

I find them entertaining enough, for now. I do hope that Legion effects continue to stay slightly weaker than set 14/15 cards, to justify their raw power. More than anything, I'm just excited for making hybrid decks again. Season 3 really wasn't kind to me in those regards.

His development is pretty much over, and you would think that after beating nationals and securing victory continent wide would score you a few points in the credibility section.

Set7 had 1 MC clan and the rest being minors. Least to say it didnt sell very well
Well, BT07 was also extremely lopsided for Great Nature. There wasn't a whole lot in it for non-Great Nature players, which is probably a large factor for why it didn't sell.

Another reason set 7 sold so poorly was because of Chris. Bushiroad expected us to jump all over his cards just because he had psyqualia (which they believed was a selling point). Before set 7 Great Nature was a disgrace and they wanted to debut this *awesome* character with new support so they picked great nature and expected it to sell like hot cakes. Since it didn't, Bushiroad is more reluctant to support the "minor" clans in such a fashion ever again. If anything, it's the fans fault for not liking Chris's character.
To be honest some people dont even like Shadow Paladin they just assume its the only thing they need to do to win why cant they stay with their "true" clan"True" clan, though for a player such as myself the definition 'true clan' isn't in my dictionary. Trying other clans to find my favorite one is though.

In the anime, the Quatre Knights had a 'minion' the one that used Megacolony agaisnt Naoki.
