Title: [VG] Brand New Light [Seeker Thing Saver Deck]
Post by: [MK]Mana on January 18, 2015, 01:40:17 AM
Hi Hi, this will be my first deck to post in the deck discussion because i almost never notice the deck discussion board. Here we go :3

SVG: 1x Advance Party Seeker, File
Triggers:
4x Certain Kill Seeker, Modron (Critical)
4x Seeker, Harold Breath Dragon (Critical)
4x Margal (Draw)
4x Seeker, Loving Healer (Heal)

Grade 1:
3x Bravogal Seeker
2x Good Faith Seeker, Cynric
2x Glynngal Seeker
2x Sacred Wielding Seeker, Octavius
4x Defending Seeker, Shiron
2x Knight of Lauryl, Cycirlz

Grade 2:
4x Blaster Blade Seeker
3x Great Crossbow Seeker, Gildas
3x Full Bloom Seeker, Cerdic

Grade 3:
4x Seeker, Thing Saver Dragon (Ace Card)
4x Light Origin Seeker, Alfred XIV

Stride Units:
4x Vague Sacred Knight, Gablade
4x Divine Sacred Dragon, Saint Blow Dragon

The Main Focus here is to use Alfred XIV for the early game pressure since gildas is there to help with the rear-guards, after you legioned with Alfred you will stride gablade, then when he hits, you get to call another rear-guard which is nice, now for late game, you have used one gablade, now to use the secondary stride unit in the Extra Deck, Saint blow, since you have enough rear-guards to activate saint blow's skill, now To ride Thing saver which is the ace card in this deck, there is a medium chance (50%) your  opponent wastes his/her hand on saint blow since saint blow has insane pressure, Seek the Mate, now repeat what gildas has to do, if gildas is not on the rear-guard, use file, if he's not on the rear-guard either, it's okay since Thing Saver only needs to attack twice or thrice depending on the damage and soul.

aHEM

You may want to drop the Quintet in favor of sparing Counterblasts. You also may not need more than two Grangal, but then I see the new Narukami in G-BT02 and believe 3 is a whole lot safer. Does Flail do well here though? He always did awfully for me and you could play Bravogal over him for a strong pushing earlygame.

Alfred Thing looks solid for the most part otherwise, though I'd suggest 1-3 Lauryl to make Striding easier on you if you find the space.

Thank you for the invitation cherry, now i have made a few changes to the deck.

-1 glynngal
-1 Cynric
+2 cycirlz
-1 Plume wall
+3 bravogal
-3 isbuzzard

i have tested the recommendations, and it worked out better than the last one. it made me easier to get a full field in just 2 turns :3

How's Octavius running in your deck? Octavius is an amazing card but if you're ace is Sing Saver then the Soul Blast is bad for him.

oh, octavius isn't meant to do anything to be honest :3 or at least i'll think of some use for him

Could replace Octavius with another Bravogal and a Gildas.

I dunno about the g3s tbh, i just find it kinda unsynchronized if alfred can't use his cb 2 skills, if he does use it, sing saver will run out of cb. But its just my opinion, doesn't play thing saver so i dunno much  :P

The idea is not to use Alfred's Counterblasts. If you use him in tandem with Thing Saver, you use him solely for his 31k Critical 2 lane. The opponent's resources will be exhausted trying to stop him, so Thing Saver ends it with 2-3 attacks from the leftover Counterblasts.
