Title: Forum Time
Post by: [ER] Patrickzzz on May 25, 2014, 06:26:17 PM
I missed a tournament this days because i converted the time zones wrong, i know it's my mistake but wouldn't be much easier to just set tournaments on the forum standard time? I mean you could just look at the moment you do the post of your registration and your current time and you will know the time difference.

Or write it in GMT, y'know... that's an easy time zone to convert from.

Works as well. But there should definitely be a standard timezone for all tourneys

problem if you are anything like me you get confused about what timezones you need to place for tornaments.

solution give area its own clock.

if we have a clock on the forum we can make it simpler to set up tournaments.
i do believe this is something that is needed.

so mentally tired i forgot where i got this idea.

...  You know, we have these magical things called search engines.  Just look up what timezone is what, and do some simple math to figure out what time it is.  Seriously, people.  If you just use standard GMT, or look up with timezone it's in, it's really easy to figure it out.

Still is easier to have a clock like jai said, it doesn't sound like something hard to do.

if area had its own time then it is next to impossible for someone to make a mistake.

This is a great idea Jai! It would also note when the next sleeve drop occurs. :) An in-game timer... CFA with it's own clock. It works...
