DS Event Announcement

This weekend, we will be having a special internal tournament event!

The DS 2v2 Legion Mate Tournament

The exact day of the tournament will be determined based on team availability.

Standard Rules of Vanguard apply

Special Tournament Rules:

  • Team members will pair up in twos and battle in a double elimination tournament format.
  • Members within DS are able to bring people outside of DS to the tournament as teammates.
  • Before rounds, members will choose between being Player A and Player B. Player A will fight Player A and B will fight B. Which team member is which can be changed in between rounds as often as desired but must be determined before rounds start to save time.
  • No team members can use the same clan.
  • Standard Japanese Restrictions apply.
  • Battle will be fought simultaneously. When one team has 2 victories, they advance. In the event of a draw, the winning fighters will battle to break the tie.

All members please register you teams here on this forum page.

DS Event Announcement!

Beginning Saturday August 2, 2014 we will be having a special Internal Tournament!

The DS Six Heroes Tournament

The actual beginning time of the tournament is to be determined.

Tournament Rules:

Tournament is for current Divine Souls (DS) Members only! Anyone not a member of DS cannot enter!

Standard Japanese Deckbuilding Rules and restrictions apply
 Including: No Barcgal or Conroe as starter unit, no Epitome of Knowledge Silvest, and no more than 2 Eradicator Dragonic Descendant in a deck.

The event will be a 2 Day Tournament event! Day 1 will be a Swiss format tournament with the top 8 of said event moving onto the Double Elimination Tournament to be handled the following week.

Matches in the Swiss style & Double Elimination style tournaments will be 2-3 with a point being awarded for each fight victory (Not just for match victories)

No deck switching or editing is allowed during the event at any time! However, in between Day 1 and Day 2, deck editing and switch is allowed as long as it is announced!

Double Mulligan is allowed!
 As a side note, if you do not have a Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 in hand after the second Mulligan, you may declare the grade you need and Mill from your deck until you find the Grade needed, then shuffle all other cards into your deck along with cards in hand equal to what was added through this rule. Reveal any units returned by this ruling before returning them to deck.

If you suspect anyone of cheating or foul play, save your replay and present it to myself, or one of the Leaders or Judges that will be available the day of the event.

Top 4 Finals of the tournament will be recorded for the DS Youtube Channel!

The top 6 Winners will all receive prizes, with 2nd and 1st receiving Customized Prizes!

Change in rules for the DS Six Heroes Tournament!

Firstly and most obvious, the date has been changed to Saturday August 2nd

Secondly, as Day 2 of the event will be happening at least a week after Day 1 as opposed to one day, those who qualify will be allowed to edit and change decks for Day 2, but they will have to edit their entries for the change.

Any DS member that still wishes to register still is able to do so and anyone who will be unable to make it on this day that IS registered, please tell me beforehand!

The DS Six Heroes Last Chance Qualifier Event has concluded! As a result, the finals for the Six Heroes Tournament are also set!

The list is as followed:

The Brutal Justice: Callum

The Black Joker: Bull

The Blue Flame: Blaze

The Light Seeker: Doryan

The Golden Knight: NovaRaizer

The Ruthless Marine: Zane

The Liberator: Will

The Jeweled Light: Cecelia

The finals will be determined on a later date. It will be a Double Elimination Tournament with the top 6 competitors becoming the Six Heroes of DS. The first and second place winners will also receive special rewards to signify they were the best of the great heroes!

Special Rule:

All finalists are to register again for the sake of the finals. Each clan has a limit of 2 competitors using that clan, and it will be on a first come-first serve bases. This is done to promote as much unique individuality as possible.

Find your strength and rise to the level of a hero!

Helo Team DS. About a week ago I cardfought one of your members Skyzlimitz and I asked him if I can join your team and he said I could. I used to be on team RF and had the user (RF) NeoKaiser on CFA but my team disbanded. So im posting here to double check to make sure if its again ok for me to join lol. Thanks

Hello NeoKaiser. Currently DS only allowed people to join through recommendations within the team. That said though, Skyzlimitz did recommend you to join so if you have a time of day you can be online, you can be officially tested for entry.

Currently we only accept new members through recommendation through a current member on DS. With that said, if we have time and chances to see you in action, there is a chance that someone within the team will recommend you to join. It would help if we knew your timezone and when you are usually online.

Just wanted to come here and give a big shoutout to Divine Souls. Ive been on this team for 3 months and I couldnt have met a better and fun group of cardfighters to be around while learning from them and improving myself. Im very glad I joined this team and i plan on being here for a long time!

For those unaware, today marks the end of the long era of DS. This forum thread shall be locked, never to be unlocked. The DS Youtube channel will remain, and a chronicle of all that we as a team have done together, how much we have grown, and how much we can still grow.
