WIXOSS (short for "Wish Across") is a popular trading card game in which players battle against each other with fighters known as LRIGS, using cards such as spells and creatures to support them.

I started watching the anime (very madoka like btw) and found out, they're actually producing a card game based around it. I'm very tempted to try it out and find it kinda cool they're trying to market this to girls. With that said I found out recently that 80% of the purchasers are men lol. Oh you. Apparently there's two videos about the card game it self and it looks interesting with rules seemingly like a combination of vanguard and kaijudo. Let me know what'cha think about it below!

I tried playing it (in a simulator, that is) and I think the game is quite enjoyable. The rule is quite easy to understand IMO, still don't know how to make a good deck though.

This game actually seems really interesting.  If I can find a simulator with the cards translated into English, I'll certainly at least try it.

Z/X TCG is also quite similar to this. But there isn't decent english simulator. Would be awesome if Cardfight Area programmers can create both mods like they did with Buddyfight.

The CFA Team didn't make the Buddyfight mod :/
I'd like to try this out too, I just have to read the rules! :P

Our designer is trying to make the Buddyfight simulator based on Area.
Also our streamer tried unsuccessfully to make the Z/X simulator. >_>

Dear god, I'm happy to hear that ^^ I'll be able to play Buddyfight properly on something other than TCO.

didnt even know this was a real game. im not interested in buddyfight but i might try Z/X if there is ever something for it.

Well the anime is out, it screamed 'Madoka' so I decided to look up if an actual tcg was being made of it and it was and I'm like AWESOME! It's going to feature the 'magical girls' from the series, but apparently they're going to expand upon this and make new, unseen girls. Their colors also represent something akin to MTG and kaijudo. So far these are what they know that each color is capable of.

White  
Attack prevention
Increasing power during the opponent's turn
Rearranging the top few cards of the deck
Returning opposing SIGNI (Creatures) to the opponent's hand
Searching the deck

Red
Direct Life Cloth (Life Points) crashing / double crash
Gaining power during their owner's turn
Banishing SIGNI (Creatures) below a certain power threshold

Blue
Discarding cards from the opponent's hand
Drawing cards
Freezing enemy SIGNI (preventing them from upping at the start of the opponent's turn)
Gaining power depending on the difference between your hand size and the opponent's hand size

Green
Ener Zone (resources) manipulation (Ener Charging, gaining power based on Ener Zone, returning cards from Ener Zone)
Increasing power
Banishing SIGNI above a certain power threshold

Black
Power reduction
Recovering cards from the trash

...White and Blue seem really broken. o.o
Bounce is always strong, and White just screams consistency.

Again, this is just what they've seen so far in terms of the cards and what they can do, it's BRAND new, so there isn't too much information about them just yet, black hasn't even been properly introduced yet.

Oh I have seen the anime to this game and it seemed quite fun even though
they didn't really show a full play by play game of it.
Would love to have the chance to try it out.

Please, make a Z/X simulator. TCO sucks and Lackey as well. Maybe if we somehow popularize it, it will be released in English.
