Post by: Cherry on September 10, 2014, 05:57:51 PM
Grade 0: 17

1 Star-vader, Brave Fang (Starting)
4 Star-vader, Apollo Nail
2 Star-vader, Vice Solidert
4 Star-vader, Nebula Captor
2 Star-vader, Scout Ferris
4 Star-vader, Pixie Powder

Grade 1: 14

4 Barrier Star-vader, Promethium
4 Infatuation Deletor, Buwimu
4 Star-vader, Bolt Line
2 Star-vader, Turndown Dragon

Grade 2: 11

4 Juxtapose Deletor, Gwill
4 Star-vader, Sword Viper
3 Companion Star-vader, Photon

Grade 3: 8

4 Juxtapose Deletor, Zwill
4 Star-vader, Venom Dancer

Let me explain how this works because it's hilariously stupid but actually do-able in practice. Wokshis in its current state is weak and worthless, because it's a gamble to use and then it's only going off once with our current cardpool. So I was looking toward the Deletor Legion. I don't like the fact that Deletors actually have Legion and would rather them work alone, but then I thought about this: "The elites are here to take over command from the forerunners, aren't they? Shouldn't they be able to function together?".

Believe it or not they really can work and are better in practice than Zwill/Wokshis when properly executed. The two biggest things with Delete is that: Deletors lock for free if the Vanguard is deleted and it reduces the deleted Vanguard's power to zero. This makes insane pressure from Sword Viper, Bolt Line, and Brave Fang. Once you lock the frontrow, that's it. With their super low power compared to the 16s and 27s you can hit, they either drop the majority of their hand to save their frontrow, or take the hits and have an extremely weak game for the next couple of turns. "How can I make their lives worse?" I thought, and came to the conclusion that the pressure Venom Dancer right afterwards makes the combo twice as crazy.

Did I mention this deck is hilariously fun for torment? My only regret is that I can't find a place for Igor. The ideal starter for this deck is Brave Fang and I have no reliable way to grab Igors like with Evo. I need to spare counterblasts since Photon is more important than Jewill for Venom Dancer.

I am here to verify that this deck does indeed work and it is horrifying.

This is actually a very well built Link Joker deck. I like the idea of using Venom Dancer with Juxtapose Deletor, Zwill with Brave Fang for starter , etc. Much better than making "pure" Deletor's since they don't have nearly enough support to be that good at the moment.

Glad you guys like it/acknowledge it's crazy combo potential. I honestly want to drop Turndown for the Soulblaster when it comes but Turndown can help me in the case of low hands... May up Draw Trigger numbers and/or play Osmium to focus more on Omega Locking than maximizing Venom Dancer's standing potential. But it's so valuable I don't think it's the right move.

Christ, couldn't Deletors just get a Lemonade clone?

I mean, at worse it only boosts Nebula and Imaginary since they're the most Counterblast heavy. Jokers need good Soulblasters in general. Deception Star-vader could've been like: Soul Blast 2 when you lock an opponent's unit draw a card if you paid the cost.

Bleh, I've been having bad luck with Draws in this deck for some games. Then again, I've been sacked by dual triggers in literally every game I've played today, so it might just be me.
