ALSO HOW DID NO ONE SPEAK A WORD OF CHRONO'S CINNAMON ROLL THE WHOLE EPISODEThe new managers are more important than sweets. I mean look at their demanding poses, those death gazes of cuteness, the manager-like stature, and their potential for big business!?!?!
I don't know if I am the only one to notice or not but whenever a unit was called they were surrounded in sigils with the color of that unit's nation
We already know the colors of each Nation so I won't tell what is what however there is a extra detail to this:
Not only do we get their color but we also get the Sigil of that unit's clan kinda of like how a nation has a Flag and the smaller groups that make up the nation have their own Flags to split themselves up from one another.
Here are the three examples from three of the clan we have seen:
Gear Chronicle: Purple Symbol with Two Gears in a Clockwork formation(You know where gears turn)
Nova Grappler: Gray Symbol with a Robot Fighter raising two arms up.
Kagero: Red Symbol with the Head of a Dragon as the Sigil.
i seriously hope this doesn't become bakugan.
Keep in mind, that was the only season that at least tried to follow the game, afterwards it went downhill......severely......and then gameplay and such got confusing and random as to wt* was going on.i seriously hope this doesn't become bakugan.
Hey, season 1 of Bakugan was good!

Hey, season 1 of Bakugan was good!
Rushed. That word basically describes a lot of this. They seem to be spending a lot, almost too much time, setting everything up. I mean, couldn't you setup AND have normal fights? I dislike the douche using OTT, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see an actual match happen. This series is shaping up to be pretty poor. I'm already hearing of people who are on the midst of jumping ship and just focusing on the tcg side of things instead of that 'and' the anime. I shouldn't have to wait several episodes for it to 'get good'. So far, too much slice of life, too little action.
i seriously hope this doesn't become bakugan.

That's actually one of the best things about this season. It keeps you hype about the card effects by not spoiling stuff away.
I like they giving us a really nice story here too with Chrono and give us nice speed up fights instead of just skip to turn x and see x lose. It slowly feels like season 1 again just without full fights. They can give us fuller fights later but I wouldn't mind it staying this fast paced all the way if they keep doing it right. Ibuki really made this episode a ton more exciting as well. As it stands right now if I had to compare this season to season 2 its already 10x better and we not even half way into it yet. If the pace continues. This will be better then seasons 4 and 3. However I dunno yet about season 1.

But hopeful you want to see full fights a times, yes?I would like to yes but if it kept the same pacing as is now it still would be good if the story stays solid for learning about all the characters and the epic animation we getting this season as well.
I don't get why people hate season 2 that much ;-;It's not that I hate it completely it has good points. It's just compared to the other seasons it's just not as good. Leon, Ren and Koutei was season 2 saving grace as most of their moments was so good. As well as I will never forgive the 2nd to final episode anime error it was too huge.
This may be an unpopular opnion but this is my season ranking:Curious What exactly made season 2 and 3 = to you? I really enjoyed season 3 a ton more because of the fact they went to school to the first half then Link Joker invaded which made me sad But it still gave us a season 1 feel the entire way but without going to tournaments to resolve things. What kept it going strong a lot of the way for me was the music brought in for season 3 was amazing. Some of it was brought back for 4 as well Maxing the effectiveness as well. Still wonder what music they will also bring back for season g to if any.
Season 1>Season2 and 3 tied>Season 4>Season 5(Too early to really tell but so far it seems that way)
Anyway for me the show is going downhill. Not that i thought that it's bad, but not as good as it was before.
For me, it goes literally Season 1 > Season 2 > Season 3 >>> Season 4
Season 5 isn't ranked yet.
Chrono's borderline Gao.Both of them will most likely lose at some point it's just Gao is less likely to but this is not the topic for Gao since this is not buddyfight.
In case Bushi hasn't noticed, that's not a good thing.
Chrono doesn't seem really cocky or anything to me, just confident. I personally think the plot is going pretty well Chrono will lose a real match at some point, you have to give it time to grow. They are showing what the new season has to offer and some background on the main characters. I also think Kumi was a great addition to the new season. Oh and Gao I hate him with a passion(that's all I'm a say).Well he would have lost today if it wasn't for the fact Mamoru interrupted the fight. Oh that rage was too priceless though. xD I also agree with what Sirvat said about Chrono. It's not that he's cocky. He's just fairly confident.
Episode six was great, I think the branch leader was about to burst out the vermillion stride people are expecting. I also think the clan leader thing is great.
(http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/cardfight/images/6/6e/Older_nagisa.png/revision/latest?cb=20141207071620)I'll say I was not expecting Nagisa to be so beautiful grown up still nowhere near as beautiful as Emi. I wonder if she's gotten over Kamui yet. I doubt it. It be funny if she started liking Morikawa 2.0 though. I can't say this enough I really love this season so much. While this episode had no real cardfights we got quizzed on some classics cards in the game but I wonder if it has a special meaning. And Chronos shows character growth some more.
SO I SEE THIS IS HAPPENING
I don't think Kamui can legally do that. Nagisa did get a bit more mature and got a bit more elaborate but yea somethings just never change. Just seeing the Kamui flash backs made me laugh. My god such a good episode. Anyway good news poped up today the Bushi NicoNico conference from way early this morning confirmed that normal cardfighting will begin from episode 12 onward. The reason they was doing it this way was due to the fact that they wanted to bring in new players. Which I think was a brilliant idea. (Am still expecting grade 1-2 skips then normal cardfighting on 3 personally)
Still, it took them 12 episodes to get back to something 'semi' normal. I don't know if that'll attract back those who have already left though. D:But it's been the best 9 episodes so far that vanguard has ever had since the start of season 3. It's sad because I'm one of the only few who feels that way. Dunno how the next 2 episode will go but for now it's has been really good and not really given that chance it really deserves. The Character development has been extremely good this season and completely underestimated. They weren't perfect mind you but they was really solid. But Today was by the most near perfect episode I have ever seen in the entire series. That story is so priceless. The character development from all of the character present was more then solid. Sure no full fights but still. It was so amazing. It's so amazing that I don't even want to bother spoiling it any futher in a thread that will soon be loaded with spoils. I cried at the end also. If there is one episode to watch before the 12 episodes returns to normal it's has to be this one so far.

Wouldn't that mean that there getting into some, how you say, 'hard core' cardfighting- atleast that what I hopeI just assume it meant we will start seeing more fuller fights instead of just skip everything. Very rare to see a hardcore like fight in cardfight vanguard anymore. I'd just be happy with one good fight.
Here's my thing with the character development. Not the pacing or the episodes being boringly flashy but more of:
Why is character development being established before anything happens? We just met our cast, why are they all already growing up in the very first few episodes before their flaws are pointed out in the face of adversity? That pacing is really off to me. We shouldn't be working on characters in-depth like that already. It tries to establish a reason to care about the cast, and that's fine. My miff with that idea is that there'll be little reason to care afterwards since they'll already be done and if they're not, their development will feel dragged out.
Also, I wouldn't call the start of Season 3 good, but that's just my opinion like the rest of this.
I can wait a few more weeks to get interested in G again. Maybe I'll start with Jamie's debut because hot Jamaican.
I liked the new episode. ^^LOL. I doubt would preform suicide over a card tho.SpoilerWhen Jaime fell off the bridge and said, "Adios." I thought he was about to perform suicide or something. XD
Now they're just messing with us.The Ren Hype Begins or did that begin with the trial deck reveal?
All the character growth is amazing this season. Bushi really did a good job at it. I still believe people are underrating the series because of it.
Anyway this episode was quite nice for me. Chrono and Tokoha got some more growth. Those two might make a happy couple one day? ...Maybe...? It would be nice.
Anyway it was really solid this is my favorite episode now. Really satisfied by how this episode went.
On episode 12 so far.
I really don't like it. It destroys what Cardfight Vanguard had. I'd like to know how Mamoru became Kagero leader and not Kai.
All the fights are animation based, no one plays the actual game. It's so boring to watch that. This is Bakugan all over again.
And now.....
KOUTEI AND HIS TEAM ARE COMING BACK!!!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfbiKpeaIag
Also.....chrono's feelings toward romance are similar to mine in realistic situations.....
but I don't know how this is going to make me better at the game Kamui-san. >.>The sad thing is this episode potentially has plot related elements to it and Kamui is trying to help them prepare. :v
In all honesty I dont see how that episode had anything to do with vanguard. It seemed like a filler to me, but im sure it was part of the main story xD.Of course it's filler, most of those episodes were drama-tastic, slice of life to the brim, filler.
Anyway at least Koutei and his team really appeared at the end of the episode so we might get so see them actually fight next week.Except we already know what happens next week and I honestly think we going to see the most complaining over a episode next week.
Well that was a very unexpected episode it was way better then I originally thought it would be. Infact not only did it change my impression on trinity dragon (and I actually like them a lot more now) it also further enforced my point from last week about that filler episode having plot related elements because it really did try to push plot. Not only all that I really think this is the best episode of the season now. It has everything you could ask for. A fullish fight (as fights go this season but way better then anything this season), was Plot related and had it share of epic moments all around the entire episode. 10/10 episode Worthy of being called a Original season 1 episode. Will watch again.'
Wow this episode was pretty good. They starting to work as a team a lot better. But now I wonder if people actually try to cheat like this in real life. It was a strange gadget that slide down the cards from your shoulder, down your arm and to your hand. I wonder if that would even work in RL. But yea poor Chrono it could have been worse for him but he really needs to learn not to just grab people and just call a judge. Also 5 years for cheating?
5 years seems harsh in my opinion, perhaps 2-3 years and removal of points could've sufficed. Although, if they had little to no points, then 4 years. The judge who wanted to give Chrono the same punishment was a jerk.Wow this episode was pretty good. They starting to work as a team a lot better. IKR, this episode was pretty epic. If I was Chrono I would have told the judge then when it was over hit him right in the face. Im sure it would not work in real tho, the gadget was pretty big, and I dont see how that sweater hid it lol. That 5 years was op tho. Im pretty happy the anime is finally moving along.
The judge who wanted to give Chrono the same punishment was a jerk.No not really. He was thinking about the safety of others. Chrono's ended up grabbing him to stop him from leaving. (Jerk deserved it though)
Ibuki was . . . epic.
And lol at how over-the-top his Stride animation is despite how no-nonsense his personality usually seems.
Link Joker hype.
It was a pretty good episode. Glad someone got to Chrono's head. Though I wonder if that dude with Chibi Jet Dragon was his father or something. Oh well we may never know
The next Episode will have Gold Paladins in it e.e. yay!!Hoping for liberators lol
New Gold Paladins so i don't think it is gonna be LiberatorsThe next Episode will have Gold Paladins in it e.e. yay!!Hoping for liberators lol
:/ then non liberators? what ever it is pls make it good. lolNew Gold Paladins so i don't think it is gonna be LiberatorsThe next Episode will have Gold Paladins in it e.e. yay!!Hoping for liberators lol
May your horse forever defy physics and logic.Bravo :D
Meh the 3-0 was a bit much, but I mean Chrono vs Leon was semi justified. Leon got all his wins from sack/lol psyqualia so it's fair that he gets sacked back in return righttt. Maybe it was a bit early for it, but it's no less BS imo then most of the g-fights. If anything I find it worse that they didn't even show properly what Ripples do. 2-1 win or something like that would have been more reasonable.

Yeah but.
They didn't even make Leon draw on the 2nd Tetra Boil attack.
They made Jaime stride Lambros first into Thavas and then even forgetting Andrei exists even tho Andrei + 16k Skiros would be 2 attacks which would have beaten down Tokoha's entire hand had she the guard for it. That would mean Tokoha had no chances of coming back.
Chrono was just top g3, sack crit on each drive check and what not. Completely logical especially since he has done this 4 times in a row?
Its predictable now at this point and the win against Leon was completely un-necessary.
I assumed he just drew off screen, didn't pay attention to his hand size really because it was obvious how they were going to do it. Tokoha also shouldn't have come back anyway with no field + pretty much no hand, and really shouldn't have won but oh well. Thavas thing was because they wanted to get the retire effect of as well to show of the full skill, even though had he done it the normal way of Thavas>Lambros he would have probably won regardless.Meh the 3-0 was a bit much, but I mean Chrono vs Leon was semi justified. I just want to See if Kai vs Shion 3 is a good match, also important on what Kai will use (probs overlord) but Considering he has beat Shion with Kagero and Narukami Already.... I can just imagine him pulling out CBD and going to town. Not gonna happen but I can hope.I'm sadly not counting on it after what I just seen. Misaki basically threw her fight to have Tokoha win.
