Chapter 1

The skies were cloudy and the atmosphere was miserable. It was generally a bad day, especially for Alexander. Since having moved into the town, he had been unable to make friends with others his own age. However he did not seem to care because he didn't come to the place to make friends, he came for a challenge.

There were people in this town known to be very strong cardfighter. With Alexander being one of the strong himself. Names such as Kendall Dranz, a rich teenager whom is known globally as the 'Blue Storm'. Roderick Dove, a popular ladies man  with a passion for the Nova Grapplers and there were other's.

Alexander himself used a mysterious clan simply known as Solitude. He himself did not know much about this clan, however from what he could gather, they were a bunch of knight's who together fought as a solitary unit on the battlefield. Others did not use this clan themselves due to its rare existence.Lying down on the grass with his crimson red eyes closed, and his  long dark mahogany hair flopped to the left side of his face covering some of his slightly tanned skin. He was thinking about how he could improve and defeat the challenges of stronger fighters. He opened his eyes, then turned his head and looked at the logo of Black Wings with red feathers on his naturally coloured brown leather jacket that was next to him.

"Expand to the sky... spreading my wings as I fly over the obstacles in my way." He spoke to himself in his mind, trying to figure out a way to become alot stronger. He had already suffered a loss to someone in this town, the alluded self-proclaimed ruler of the fire dragons, Helios.

He stood up and put on his jacket. He began to walk towards the north of the town, where the cardshop was located to find a challenger that he could perhaps use as a warm-up to begin his training to surpass the new obstacles he wishes to overcome that block his path.

Chapter 2

Arriving at the cardshop after a thirty minute walk to it. He approached the automatic doors, causing them to open. Inside the shop there was a few standing fight tables along side some regular tables and chairs. The counter was located on the right side of the entrance, but for a strange reason no member of staff was present. The only person inside the store was a girl.as a slim figure and pale skin. She has black hair in two large twin-drill pigtails, red eyes, gold earrings, wearing a Gothic Lolita -style outfit which consisted of a white blouse with a Peter-Pan collar, a black jacket that includes white ribbon lacing down the sleeves, fastened by a simple ribbon across her chest to show her red tie with a butterfly pattern on it and the waist of her skirt.

She appeared to be sat down organising her deck. Alexander thought to himself about how easy this person would be to beat. With his mind set on defeating this person, he approached. "You, you're a cardsfighter correct? Then fight me, right here, right now." he spoke in a calm, uncaring voice.

The Gothic female collected up her cards and began shuffling her deck. Her expression was blank but her tone was polite as she spoke to him in some kind of European accent. "Very well, however in this game the stakes are the loser must give up their rarest card. But since you are confidence I am sure you will accept the conditions... Am I correct?"

Alexander nodded his head whilst he took out his deck and shuffled it, then sat down at the table with the female. He placed down his deck, with them both placing it down simultaneously along side their starter. "Are you ready to begin?" the lady asked. He responded with "Yes".

Both players drew their starting hands, Alexander flipped a coin, however it landed on heads which meant his opponent was to go first. Standing up their vanguards, they began their fight.

The lady's clan was revealed... Dark Irregulars. Her starting vanguard was Gambler of Shadows whilst Alexander's starting vanguard was Knight of Solitude, Reptar.

The Gothic woman drew a card and rode Deadly Dealer, moving Gambler of Shadows to the rearguard circle to the bottom left of her vanguard then signalled the end of her turn. As Alexander began his turn, the lady informed him of her name. "I am Celestia, The Ultimate Gambler! My luck is unmatchable! You have made the mistake of challenging me, now you will live to regret that decision" Alexander gave off a smile of fulfilment, this fight he had obtained was going to be a challenge. He drew a card from his deck and rode Solitude's Mage, moving Reptar behind his vanguard he boosted for a total of 13000. Celestia did not guard the attack, however his drive check yielded no trigger for him. Celestia performed a damage check, receiving a draw trigger, gaining an extra card in her hand. Alexander passed his turn over to her.

She drew and rode Double Dice Devil and called Purple Trapezist. Using Trapezist's skill, she moved Gambler of Shadows to the soul and superior called Deadly Dealer behind it. Dealer's skill activated, Celestia soul-charged a card. "Dice Devil will attack your vanguard!" Alexander did not guard. She performed her drive check, receiving a critical trigger. Giving the critical effect to her vanguard and the power to Trapezist. Alexander checked both of his damage, no such luck. Lastly Purple Trapezist with the support of Dealer swung at his vanguard with a total of 18000. With his hand unable to guard, he took a third damage.

Things were beginning to look bad for the slightly tanned crimson eye'd fighter, as the battle progressed with him at three damage and his opponent, The Ultimate Gambler, with only one.
