Title: [Pale Moon] Non-Silver Thorn Discussion
Post by: Teatime on May 06, 2014, 04:51:51 AM
I actually have this deck in real life and I'd like to share it with you guys, there might be some Silver Thorn but it's because of the lack of good cards that don't have Silver Thorn in it's name.

Grade 0:

1x Girl Who Crossed the Gap
4x Poison Juggler
4x Popcorn Boy
4x Rainbow Magician
4x Skyhigh Walker

Grade 1:

3x Accurate Mia
4x Midnight Bunny
3x Jumping Glenn
2x Skull Juggler
2x Hades Hypnotist

Grade 2:

3x Jumping Jill
4x Silver Thorn Lillian
2x Mirror Demon
2x Hungry Clown

Grade 3:

2x Miracle Pop, Ava
2x Midnight Invader
2x Nightmare Doll, Alice
2x Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer Liquier.

What are your thoughts about it ? I've vsed against Dimensional Robo's and Aqua Force and I still did good and won against them, for me I think I should put more Miracle Pop Ava.

3 Eva's are mandatory in every palemoon deck as it is one of the best break rides in the game.
Replace hungry clown with princess as i don't usually prefer top deck SC and palemoon hate it.
Really don't like mirror demon as bunny and Alice are fine for Multi-soul Attacks.
And where are the Purple trapezists? They are like the back bone of a palemoon deck. Extremely good card.
No point in running Midnight Invaders.
3 Liquiers 3 Eva and 2 Alice should do the trick.
Still, in a deck like this it is better to tech in quantum magician + peek a boo for those +1's.

I would consider using Elephant Juggler and some of the New Nightmare doll units

I suggest using 1 or 2 Nitro Jugglers. It helped me out in a few situations where I lacked plus being a grade 2 could be used as an attacker and interceptor.

Hungry Clown is a good for building soul since you could attack an unit for a soul charge.

Accurate Mia, for reason I never run it in my Pale Moon decks I wonder why.

Personal suggestion (though for pale moon, I only played silver thorns, farah, sarah, new beast tamer build)
Try to fit in a purple trapezist especially if you're running nightmare doll alice.
Try something like this:
Alice/trapezist.........Vg/Booster..........9K attacker/empty.
if your attack with alice lands, you can cb1, put alice in soul, call trapezist, use skill and exchange a card for alice.that way, you get a chance to attack once more..

Hmm...well, for a non-Silver Thorn Pale Moon, it would probably be a good idea to build around Eva and Nightmare Doll, Chelsea. If you get the needed Trapezists in soul, you can do two turns of five boosted attacks, however if you miss the Trapezists, you can fall back on Chelsea to still get five boosted attacks on your Breakride turn. Obviously, you'd need to run 4 Purple Trapezist for maximum consistency, you'd want 4 Perfect Guards to not die, and you'd want 3-4 Dancing Princess of the Night Sky to help get Purple Trapezists into your soul.

Purple trapezist is always a good choice i recommend using it on any deck(except silver thorns because they have their own counterpart to her)
