Title: Team Fight Formats
Post by: Jai Hearts on February 16, 2015, 12:37:36 PM
Normal Format:
1 fighter from each team face or one after the other . winning team is the one with the most victory.

Gunslinger:
A fighter from fight untill he/she losses and is then replaced with the next fighter. a team is defeated when all its fighters are defeated

Roundout:
Similar to gunslingers only after a fighter wins he is places as the back of the line. a team is defeated when all its fighters are defeated.
(credit to galleon and Jai for the creation and zane/penguin for the name)

Roulette:
Similar to Roundout but after the first match the opposing team well send players to fight out of the order.
ex: player one wins and go to the back of the line, but if lets say normally in round out player 3 needs to fight player 1 can return instead. there fore there is no set order of what player comes out next. the contest is over when one team is out of players.

Reverse Formats (no its not that reverse)

Reverse Guns:
also known as reverse gunslinger, unlike the original gunslinger the loser of the match moves on. (ex is that if Player A wins Player B, Player B continues to play, while Player A will not play in this TB anymore. If all your team members won a fight, your team is winner.)
The contest is over when all fighters of a team won a match.

Reverse Round:
also known as reverse Roundout, same are reverse gun the ones that have lost a match keep playing untill the members of one team have won one match.

if you have a format you have seen or an idea for a new format post here and let us know.

To people who don't understand it, think of it as Normal, but with the Winning players of each team fight each other afterwards till the last man is standing.

It sounds very interesting and very promising. However I'd opt for a potential name change.

Round Off sounds like a better name. Not sure why but it sounds simple and pretty effective.

i like the name round out but it feel like there is a better name, but untill we find a better name is will change it to round out.

everyone will submit a name and we will vote on friday till monday.

now if anyone has an idea for a format but need a little help with it post it here, we will give you credit for its creation and input.

Like that new concept you created. Instead of roundoff I think Roulette sounds more fitting.

while roulette is a good name it does not fit it since roulette is more random.

however it does sound good for if instead of keeping the order of the people that already fight the teams can send who ever they want out next.

hmm think im gonna putt that down as a 4th format. thanks for the name.

yo, to all. I have an idea of new Team Battle format, which was proposed by Raynhour from russian community. Call it "Reverse Gunslinger". The only difference between Gunslinger and "Reverse Gunslinger" is that if Player A wins Player B, Player B continues to play, while Player A will not play in this TB anymore. If all your team members won a fight, your team is winner.

That is... weird. But interesting

Ladies and virgin males, i present to you an all new, not so different, time wasting format.

behold, Round Rumble

so what is the RR format ?

its a format where everyone on each team literally has to fight everyone on the other team.

example:

Round 1

team a v team b
player one v player a
player two v player b
player three v player c

Round 2

player one v player b
player two v player c
player three v player a

Round 3

player one v player c
player two v player a
player three v player b

ofcourse the team with the most round victory wins.

how ever the downside is the time, it is recommended you keep this to a 3v3 anymore fighters and ether you gotta go 3 rounds or more.

teams may choose how many rounds they can go up to the number of fighters on each side.

example:

3v3 3 rounds

4v4 3 or 4 rounds

 5v5 3 4 or 5 rounds

now what do you think of this new format ?

we should do anime style fights more (like have trinity dragon vs try 3) teams decide on clans from teams in the anime and go head to head
