Card Capital, the local card shop!

Field Status
There are sets of cards on sale among the walls.
Single cards are featured through the glass cabinets.
Posters advertising the latest sets.
Cardfights are going all around.

What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

Feeling refreshed? You seem a bit more... vigorous, Haru.

Haruka could be seen sitting at a fight table, downing a cup of coffee blended with Irish Creme. He was too busy messing with his deck to notice the voice. "Do I really need the Glory Makers? Maybe I could use these instead..." Haruka's frustration gives way and decides to put the cards back into the deck and lay back in the chair. It's bright and early this morning in Card Capital, the main trading card shop hub in town.

Haru, shouldn't you be out socializing with people. You aren't going to find answers here. And you haven't fought since that morning in the slums-

"Shut it. That was... Well..."

That was you playing poorly. You understand, no? You'll never save anybody without strength. The will to do something will not be enough alone against the forces of that Queen. Even the Princess sibling would easily crush you. No doubt in my mind. There are other fighters out there who will take advantage of your weakness. You must become stronger.

Haruka found himself speechless. The voice had never provoked Haruka's emotions aside from the one time he made mention of a certain phrase. "I-I..."

Understand this Haru. You are not at your full potential. Do not be discouraged. Push forward.

"Why are you so grandiose some times, and a total ass the other half?" Haruka asks.

I act the way I feel is necessary for you to proceed forward and achieve our goal.

"Our... goal..." Haruka repeats the phrase a couple of times. "Right. Our goal." Haruka smiles a little. A darker grin than normal. One that is not of the purest intentions.

He picks up his deck and begins to search through his cards once more, sipping his coffee.

Hana pulled back a chair and took a seat along the of the corners of the shop. She yawned and put her head down to rest a little. She was tired from yesterdays events. She rested her head on her arms which were crossed along the table, and began slowly began to drift to a soft sleep despite her obvious attempts to avoid it.

After getting a pamphlet in the Shopping District Itou gets to Card Capital to fight some more and win some more, there he sees Haruka who seems to be evily grinning at his deck, and Hana who seems to be almost falling her head into the table in drowsiness, if she's there it means she knows how to cardfight. Itou now has to decide who to approach...

Hana's eyes slowly opened, she saw a sinner from the side of her eye.

"That... was strange... I guess I must have fallen asleep for a little bit..." She said so, rubbing her eyes.

Itou was at the corner of her eye, approaching her. "mmm the Sinner again..." she ducked a little bit under the table, to where she could not be seen. She crawled under the table and slowly and took a path around a few fight table, hopefully avoiding sinner's gaze. She then rushed out of Card Capital and dialed up Auntie Iguana.

"Hey let's go on outing again today!"

Ighanna's car arrives right infront of Card Capital as she calls Hana-chan to enter the car. Surprisingly its a day off today so her chauffeur isn't here meaning Ighanna's driving herself.

"Apparently theres this Summer Festival at the beach happening soon! I'm performing there too so we better go." said Ighanna as she gets ready to go full speed. She was dressed enthusiastically for the summer.

Haruka notices the people entering the shop, breaking his trance after a couple of moments. He puts his cards down on the table and observes a little. Is that Hana? Why is she crawling on the floor? Hana ends up disappearing out of the shop anyways, which then leads Haruka's attention to Itou, standing at the front of the shop.

"Ehh, what are you doing here?" Haruka scratches his head, smiling a bit.

"Isn't it weird we keep meeting up? This is the third time I think? Anyways, what brings you to Card Capitol today?" Haruka says as he stands up and pretends to dust his pants off.

"I'm...looking for something?"

Itou answers in a doubtful way since he doesn't know whether he should go after hana, cardfight Haruka, or try to once again find the mysterious shop. Since he was here he might as well do it.

"but that can wait, wanna play a game?"

"Hoh? A fight..."

Do it. You need this.

"Yeah, you're on Itou! Let's make it a good one!" Haruka's flare begins to show in his eyes. His smile that was once dark was now one of passion.

The fight was fiery off the bat. The standard Barcgal to Blaster Blade combo came out from Itou, riding into Alfred, creating a heavy-hitting vanguard. Haruka found himself losing quick. Despite getting a critical Enigman Storm to hit, he couldn't push Itou past 5 damage. It was a little demoralizing to know not only did he lose to Soul Saver Dragon again, but that in Itou's hand lied another one and the capability to create a 5-soul stack. Haruka sighed a sigh of defeat. After the loss he packed up his deck.

"I think I learned something..." Itou said, describing the double Soul Saver combo. Haruka nodded but only slightly.

"Haha, so did I-"

How much you dislike losing?

"I'm gonna head to the beach. It's sorta stuffy in here. Plus, I heard there's volleyball and I love volleyball. I'll see you there, yeah?" Haruka salutes before heading out of the shop.

He takes a breath of fresh air and pinches the bridge of his nose. "Still not strong enough," he said to himself, before escaping to the paradise that is the beach side.

Haruki pulled out his deck and got ready to fight.

Upon arriving at Card Capital, Tsubasa was taken back by how the store was less crowded in comparison to the last time her was here. The three quickly took a seat near the fight table, as Haruki immediately challenged Fukka to a cardfight.

"...It's over so soon..?" Tsubasa was astounded by the fight, Haruki's units quickly overwhelmed Fukka's vanguard pushing her to 6 damage with ease. "My paladins have the superior call ability...but this...this is on a much faster level...interesting." he thought, clenching his deck and preparing for this new challenge.

"The King Of Knights attacks your vanguard! Check the Drive Trigger, Got it! Critical Trigger!! Break Through Alfred!!!" The game brought out a louder side of Tsubasa, much to his surprise.

"That was an amazing fight, your deck is very powerful Haruki." he said. He was surprised that he was able to withstand the speed and power of the Spike Brothers Clan.

After the fights, the three had to go their seperate ways, as Tsubasa bid them farewell in hopes of meeting them again.

"I need some fresh air, might as well check out the beach, I hear it has some impressive scenery.

Haruka finally came to a conclusion.

Haru. Do you realize what you have to do? Find your own strength.

Haruka stared at Daiyusha. "So... this is where we part." The card fell flat on his lap. Haruka put his hands together, speaking a word for the deck. Mostly a thank you, for helping him through this quest for power. "But you were never mine to begin with," he whispered.

Haruka was younger when he started playing Cardfight!! Vanguard. He found out about the game from his uncle, who also played. His deck was a Daiyusha-Enigman Storm styled deck. Haruka found it in a dresser one morning and asked his uncle how to play. They went out that afternoon and bought Haruka a Kagero-styled deck, with no particularly strong cards. It was, for all intents and purposes, a practice deck to the fullest. The closest thing to an ace his Berserk Dragon. The Grade 3 Line-up was rather poor, considering the family wasn't exactly rolling in dough. Haruka started playing in local card shop tournaments, but without a deck with some "oomf" to it, he wasn't going to place. Haruka's uncle gave him the Dimension Police deck, allowing him to play at his fullest. Haruka won some and lost some, but was thankful all the same.

"And now, I have to chase after my own power."

Your power shall be granted. Come to me. My Vanguard.

Several hours passed. Night time had come. Haruka woke up in Card Capital with an intense headache. The fire in his chest was burning insanely hot. His deck was lying flat on the counter. When he touched the cards, he felt warmth run through his fingertips. The deck felt alive. Haruka grabbed the top card off of the deck.

"Dragonic... Overlord?" The flare is Haruka's eyes was now full and true. He smiled an honest smile.

"I will fight for you, My Vanguard."

Haruka's main clan has changed to Kagero and his Avatar is now Dragonic Overlord.

After his day at the beach Kaze finally decided it was time to head to the Card Shop. When he arrived the sign on window read "Welcome to Card Capital." Kaze opened the door and walked he in and looked around. It doesn't seem like Kaze remembers anything still so he walked up to one of the empty tables to rest his head down. -sigh- "I wonder how today will turn out." He thought to himself.

Kaze pulled out his cards out of the deck box and skimmed through them. Still nothing came to mind he slowly put the cards back in the box and proceeded to just watch the local cardfights happen.

Exiting from Rijuku Residential District, Jellal steps foot into Card Capital. He figured it would be a great time to cardfight and improve on his skills if he was needed to help restore the existence of Aqua Force. He looked around, it was a bit crowded but not too bad. He grabbed open the door and slightly pressed the handle forward as the door opened. A small breeze gentled pressed onto his face as he passed through the door and into the shop. The door closed, Jellal scoped out the scenery, and saw the everyday cardfighters whoms names he never bothered with knowing since he never had any intent on interacting with anyone. He looked as his deck as he went past a red haired boy on his side. He sat down two tables down from where the boy was at, taking the seat, his back to the entrance. He laid out his deck over the table and stared at each card intensely. Blaster Dark in the center, the rest of the units were placed in an disorderly scattered fashion. He stood there thinking about what the voice had said to him, about 'needing something'. He also remembered the same voice asking 'if he, Jellal, could help him'.

"Of course I'll lend my strength." the blonde said under his breath. He continued staring at Blaster Dark, Jellal's newly light blue eyes met with Blaster Dark's renowned determination.

While lying down Kaze felt a strange aura walk passed him. This caused Kaze raise his head up and looked around; he saw a blonde haired guy sitting two tables away. "Why do i have this feeling i should approach that guy." Kaze thought to himself. He watches as the guy pulls out a deck. Kaze gets up from the table to go see what kind of cards are being rested across the table. As he approaches to stand behind the guy; he sees dark units laid out across the table and starts to get lightheaded. "What is this feeling..." he said to himself cautiously. He then places his head on his head.

"W-Who is this guy?!?!" Kaze can't help but wonder to himself.

Jellal continued to ponder at the Shadow Paladin deck. He held each card in his hand observing it: from the triggers, to the grade 1s, grades 2s and obviously the grade 3s. Jellal sits them all down and continues eyeing them. For a split second, he realizes how the cards are all unified. They were one collected group of fighters, a powerful force, led by Blaster Dark with Phantom Blaster Dragon behind. That was his image, something he never had that didn't torment him. He smiled a bit, only to realized they resembled the white soldiers that he saw on Planet Cray, dubbed Aqua Force. The blue purple skinned dragon behind all of the warriors while various units lined up beside Genovious, holding out his hand with a confident smile. Jellal reached out as Genovious smiled turning his head, approving the decision that Jellal  had made to help them out. Everything faded into a bright white, throwing him back into reality. Jellal firmed placed both of his hands on the table, holding himself up. He held the right side of his face with his right hand, clutching it. His right eye covered, his left eye still staring at the cards. They returned back to the darkness that was the Shadow Paladins.

"I..." he struggled to form words to describe what happened. Suddenly he sighed. "Just forget about it for now" he thought to himself. He had no idea what he needed to do to get closer to the warriors of Aqua Force. He sat back down in the chair, causing a small rupture of the table. The cards jolted up into the air, causing Jellal to look up in terror. All of the cards had fallen back down to the table in a more disorganized position. All except one, which fly past his left side and started to glide backwards into the front entrance of the shop. Jellal could only imagine what that card was, but he knew he had to get it.

Itou walks in Card Capital, and right away asks some people for a quick Cardfight, but most of them saw him yesterday at the Summer Festival and would not. Seeing how his actions caused consequences and without anyone to fight, Itou grabs a chair and sits looking at the door, sulking.

As Kaze's head is in pain he looks to the floor and sees a card landed in front of him face down. He didn't know whether or not to pick up the card lying on the ground. Kaze felt as though the card was asking him to pick it up so he proceeded  to reach for the card on the floor. He picked up the card and turned it over. He said its name was Phantom Blaster Dragon. "P-Phantom Blaster Dragon..." Kaze said to himself in a shushed tone. Kaze's headache got worse. Could it be he has a connection to this card in some sort of way? Kaze continues to hold on to the card until someone comes to claim it. The blonde hairs guy with the weird aura from before walks towards Kaze's direction.

"Hey you!" Jellal said from a distance staring at the boy who held on the card that was flew from his table. He stopped in front of him, with his deck in hand. He looked up at the boy who seemed to be entranced by the held card. Jellal took a glimpse and saw that it was Phantom Blaster Dragon.

"Uhh.. hey guy?" he said while stepping closer and around the red haired boy who's eyes were covered by his hair. "What's with this guy?" he thought. He never seen anyone so committed to a card, even more so to Phantom Blaster Dragon, a card that many people would consider fear-worthy. He awaited for the boys response.

With Kaze's head tilted down dazing at Phantom Blaster Dragon he hears a voice talking to him. "Hey guy." is what Kaze heard. He slowly looks up to see who was calling him and it was the blonde haired guy who he was watching. Without knowing why Kaze's eyes look distant as if he's in a trance has he looks at the blonde haired guy while holding Phantom Blaster Dragon. Kaze slowly snaps out of it and he's eye return to normal; then slowly and unwillingly shows the blonde hair guy the card he's holding seeing if he'll take it from him.

"H-here..." Kaze says holding the card in the blonde guy's direction.

Haruki returned to Card Capital the next day. He had tons of fun here before and was totally chillax fighting his friends.

+1 AF Tsubasa
+1 AF Kota

Now it was time to get his serious mode on. Haruki did have a reason for coming to the card shop the previous day, but was too busy with cardfights to get his goal completed. He looked around the shop's card collection until he found what he was looking for: the Granblue clan.

"That ghost kid was using this clan in our fight," Haruki said to himself. "Maybe I should learn more about this clan if I want to find another clue." He searched through the gallery for anything that he could remember was used in that fight. After making a quick list of cards, he looked around for the shop manager so that he could grab these for a test.

Jellal extended his hand to grab the black dragon. Once it was in his hands, he looked eyed the boy who was returning it to him. He looked timid, red hair, around the same age, maybe younger than Jellal. The boy had an expression on his face that he felt connected to Phantom Blaster Dragon, which was odd especially for Jellal. There wasn't a single person whom he ever met that stared so intensely at it. The very thought of this captured Jellal's interest.

"Thank you for returning the card." he said leisurely with a smile. "You come here often?"

"You come here often?" the blonde guy asked Kaze. "No this is my first coming here; from what I remember at least." Kaze responded. Kaze proceeds to introduce himself to the blonde haired guy. "My name is Kaze, Kaze Ryuenji. Last years I got into an accident causing me to lose my family members and memory; I just woke up a few days ago looking for anyone that may no something about my past or who I am. I don't really know anything about myself to be completely honest. Is it possible you know something?"

Kaze waits for the guy's response.

"Kaze... Ryuenji..." he repeated the name of the strange boy in his head. It was a name he was very familiar with, however... the boy in front of him he was not familiar with. His eyes widened, staring at the boy. "Could it really be him?" Jellal thought. "After all this time?" he kept observing the boy as he was awaiting for Jellal's answer.

'No he isn't' he declared to himself. "This boy... is not the same Kaze Ryuenji... from back then" His eyes grew vicious, skeptical at the one named Kaze Ryuenji. However, he realized something. He looked at the card that he received from Kaze a few moments ago. Phantom Blaster Dragon: this was the one card that can help Jellal understand what is going on. "If he's not him... then why did he hold Phantom Blaster Dragon so...?" He took a look at the rest of his deck and which for the first time, gave off a weird vibe. Their usual dull and dead emotion was released with a sense of familiarity that was intense. It was obvious, to Jellal, and the deck in his hands: they needed to confirm their suspicions.

"You really don't remember anything?" Jellal asked.

"Hmmm.., well..." he started. "Lets have a cardfight. Beat me and I'll tell you everything you need to know."

"Lets have a cardfight. Beat me and I'll tell you everything you need to know." the blonde haired guy stated to Kaze. In shock Kaze pulled out his deck as a sign to accept the challenge "I accept!!!" he said. Kaze thought to himself "Who is this guy and why does he seem to know something about me?" Kaze and the blonde haired guy walked to the nearest table. Both players set there Starters on the vanguard circle then proceed to shuffle there deck. "This could be my one and only change I can't mess this up." Kaze said to himself as he drew his opening hand.

-The fight starts-
Kaze: "Stand up, The Vanguard"
(Jellal): "Stand up, My Vanguard"

Dalis sat in the corner on the sofa, head resting on the top of it. In her hands rested her usual cards, the set of Pale Moon that she loved dearly, yet couldn't hear anything from it. The connection that she had always felt was missing, and no matter how hard she tried to reach out to them, they never replied. The communication she had gotten used to, an effortless instinct was impossible to recreate, and she didn't know what to do.

Letting out a sigh, she packed the cards away, slotting them in her back pocket. She leaned back, head hitting the wall and she closed her eyes, willing herself to fall asleep yet getting nowhere.

-Both players at 4 Damage-
Kaze: "My Rear guard attacks!"
(Jellal): "I guard."
Kaze: "My Vanguard Attacks!"
(Jellal): "No guard."
Kaze: -something overcoming Kaze and causing him to genitally smirk tilting his head down as his hair covers his eyes- "Twin.. Drive"
(Jellal): "Hm?"
-Checks a Critical Trigger-
Kaze: "Crit Vanguard & Power to rear guard that hasn't attacked."
-Checks no trigger-
(Jellal): -checks the top to cards for a damage Trigger-
Kaze: -snaps out of it and sees that he won the game- "Good Game"
(Jellal): "Good Game"
The blonde hair kid decided to pack up his cards. Kaze goes around the table "So our deal... What do you know about me?!" Kaze stated to the guy.

Kaze awaits a reply from him

Daichi, with a pack of french fries in one hand and with a bag slung around his shoulder, walks into Card Capital.
He scans the crowd and looks for people he had previously met. His eyes rest on a girl who seems to be in visible discomfort.
Daichi approches her, "Hello, my name is Daichi, and you are?".

Jellal stops and stares at Kaze. He seemed eager to know know whatever it was that Jellal knew about him to reveal his past. However, Jellal was conflicted: the boy was no doubt the same Kaze Ryuenji however he was different in a good way. Any information about his past, might follow up with the past event that has left a tremendous level of guilt and fear in Jellal's soul. To tell or not to tell, those were his options as he packed up his deck.

Finally sliding the deck into it's case, he walked past Kaze. Slowly turning back, glaring at him with his light blue eyes. "Listen..." Jellal stated. "I can't tell you everything but you have a 'gift' of sorts." He looked up at the ceiling of Card Capital. "However I can tell you that the decks we currently have, and used to fight each other with just now..., aren't our true decks." The way Kaze fought, was the exact same as if he were fighting with his 'real' deck, something Jellal didn't want to see happen for a long while, especially in the state that he's in.

"But like I said, I can't really go into full detail about it right away. When the time comes, I'll tell you everything. But telling you now would interfere with a lot of things" he said while lifting up his deck case. "I need the power of this deck for the time being. It belongs to a friend, and I promised I'd return it to him in due time." Jellal grabbed his bag from the table and proceeded to leave Card Capital. He stopped at the glass door and slightly turned back at Kaze. "My name's Jellal Kisaragi, that much, I will tell you." The wheel of fate began to turn for both fighters: as their past is soon to unfolded.

Dalis merely stared at the new arrival, with eyes of pure venom. Sitting up, she rested her hands on her lap.

"What do you want?" She snapped with an air of importance, an icy edge to her voice. She was visibly on edge, teeth grit inside her closed mouth and fists clenched up into tight fists. Despite this, she tried to keep herself casual, with a lying smile plastered on her face.

Daichi is somewhat startled by the girl's gesture but shrugs it off with a smile.

"I have a feeling she is a great cardfighter. Ask her for a fight."

Daichi hesitantly answers,"Umm.. I am not from around here, forgive my intrusion.. I was looking for a fun cardfight and I thought you would be up for it!".

Daichi nervously eats a french fry.

After hearing what Jellal had to say Kaze didn't know what to respond with regarding the information that was given to him. He repeated the name to himself "J-Jellal Kiseragi..." Kaze watched as Jellal waked outta card shop. Kaze then started to pack up his cards before sliding them in the deck box he looked at the card on top the pile "Not my real deck huh..." he said inside his mind. Kaze slides the deck into the deck box and put it in his pocket and put on his hood and walks towards the door thinking about everything that happened in the cardfight.

Kaze pushed the glass door open and walks out of the store; he doesn't see any sight of Jellal around. He starts to shed a tear "I came so close and yet I'm still left with more and more questions." he thought to himself looking at the sky as the clouds pass by. Kaze has a long way ahead of him like what more does Jellal know, who else could help him, and more importantly what's really his.

Kaze leaves the card shop depressed not knowing what to do so he heads somewhere to relax and think about his next moves. "Until we meet again Jellal. I WILL get my answers." Kaze says to himself in anger.

All Dalis could do was stare at the boy, not impressed in the slightest. Sighing as she stood up, she made her way over to a fight table, where she placed her deck and prepared for the Cardfight.

Moving her hair out of her face, she muttered, "It's probably the only way to get rid of you." She stared at the cards, pain written across her face, shadows of doubt crossing her face and mind.

The store manager walked over and noticed Haruki by some cards. He had a friendly smile as he saw the boy, showing that they were well acquainted with each other. "Another deck, Haruki? Who did you play this time to want to make a new deck?"

"Nice to see you again Manager," Haruki said with a joyful expression. He thought about what had happened during his battle with the ghost child, and was indecisive as to whether it was really okay to tell about his strange encounter. The shop manager was a responsible adult, and could probably handle something like the undead. "Well, you see, a couple of days ago, I fought this ghost and he was using this clan. Really spooky, huh?"

The manager's smile turned into a face of worry. He whispered so no one could hear, "Wait.. Haruki, you fought a ghost? Where did this happen, and what did it look like?"

Haruki was confused. This was that important to Manager? "They looked like a kid, all burnt up I guess. It was back at the Rijiku apartments, some really creepy room."

The face of worry changed into one of distress. "Listen Haruki, and this is really important. I know about that ghost." Haruki looked at him in shock. How could this man know of ghosts? ...A Ghostbuster, perhaps? "I can't talk much about it now since I have to attend to the shop, but meet back here when it's closing time and I can explain everything. Go have some fun cardfights for now."

He rang up the cards that Haruki picked out and moved over to other areas of the shop, leaving him with a mind full of wonder. The Manager... the Ghostbuster. The young boy walked to the main area and noticed someone he's fought before leaning back into a chair all alone. Itou was epic when cardfighting, so he seemed like a great opponent to fight and get pumped up. Haruki walked up to the guy and greeted him.

"Hey Itou! Haven't seen you since the stamp rally." Haruki held out his deck and asked, "Wanna cardfight?"

He grabs his new deck and sits properly in the table. His mind forgets all the past events and focuses on the fight. He has fought Haruki before, it also seemed he was 2nd place in the Stamp Rally so he was not be underestimated. Itou gets ready for a fierce match

Daichi could feel that the girl with raven hair was irked.
The fight had started and Daichi had executed his Tsukuyomi ride chain perfectly thus far.
However, Daichi was pushed to the edge when he was on Grade 1, as he did not read one of the rearguards' skills, which put him under a lot of pressure from the girl's Enigman Wave.
She successfully drew off of it's skill, and Daichi was a tad bit amused that other units could also do what his clan did the best. He was losing 4-1 damage at this point.

After a couple of heated turns, and intense attacks from both sides, the girl pulled off an amazing combination that put a lot of pressure on the 17 year old, but he was somehow able to hold his own at 5 damage while the girl remained at 4.

As the fight went on, Daichi was pushed to a tight corner, where 1 damage could mean Daichi's forces would be erased from Cray.
"The First card.." "..And now the second!", Daichi was tensed at this moment but he was lucky that the girl did not check a trigger.
Daichi munched down a few fries as he was getting very hungry from the intense battle.

Daichi was calculating all along, and he knew his winning image was close. He rides CEO Amaterasu in a last ditch effort to push for game.
The girl decides to no guard Amaterasu's attack, and Daichi knows the top card is a critical!

"Critical to my Vanguard and power to my rearguard half moon. Second check! Heal Trigger, all effects to my Red Eye."

Daichi could not learn the girl's name as she left in a hurry, but he hopes he can fight her another day.

"I told you she was good".

Daichi sits in a corner sipping on a can of coke. With ear phones plugged in, he starts working on his laptop.

Itou fights Haruki after a while, and both fighters seemed to have changed their decks, Haruki used a new clan named Granblue. He hid the traits of his deck so Itou could not prepare countermeasures, he misgrades on purpose willing to build the necessary cost for Akane's skill and that might have costed him a lot. Itou builds his field with his newest addition Fang of Light Garmore, but when that happened he was in a weakened state. Itou was beaten, which didn't happen in a while, Haruki thanked him for the game, and it also looks like Haruki doesn't know what Itou did on the previous day so he feels more relaxed, and walks off Card Capital with a smile.

As soon as Haruki knocked on the door to Card Capital, an arm reached out from behind it and yanked him inside, leaving the closed sign flowing in the light breeze. Once inside, Haruki noticed Manager was the one that pulled him into the shop, as he was standing by the door.

"Haruki, this is something big you have on your hands right now. If you want to understand this abnormality of nature, we need to go deeper." He led Haruki into the supplies area of the shop and pushed on a tall shelf rack, but to no avail. Didn't even budge a bit.

"Need some help?" asked Haruki. With a bit a effort, they both pushed the object, and behind it was a secret door. As Manager opened it, the path went downward into a deep area. Thankfully that space was well-lit. Haruki couldn't tell how far it went, as when he looked down, the path seemed to loop downwards in a spiral.

"This is going to be a long walk, might even take all night. I've already made arrangements for a sub-manager to come in and watch the shop tomorrow, but are you prepared for this, Haruki?"

"I'm more than ready for this manager!" Haruki said with a determined look. "If I can find out more about this new mystery, a night of sleep is worth going without. Besides, I bet this will be a ton of fun too!"

They pulled the shelf rack in front of the door and headed down into the bright abyss.

Ryuske yawned slightly, having only recently woken up from a nap. His destination as he walked down the sidewalk was Card Capital. He was dressed in a red short sleeved, zip up hoodie worn open over a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black and gray sneakers, with his hair worn down and a red baseball cap on backwards while also carrying a gray backpack. Arriving at Card Capital, he noticed that there wasn't a manager on duty at the counter, though there were people around playing Vanguard. Ryuske shrugged his shoulders before sitting down, pulling his white deck case out from his backpack. He set his starting vanguard aside and power shuffled his deck while waiting to see if there was anyone interested in playing.

Haruka finds himself in Card Capital after a strange morning with Daichi. A lot of talking and exchanging of past events. Venting was a great method of helping Daichi when he finds himself having that dream again. He walks in, cup of coffee in hand, to the nearest table and sits down. Without even noticing it, he finds himself sitting in front of a boy in a red cap and a hoodie, shuffling his deck like a mad man.

"Y-Yo, you okay there?" Haruka raises his eyebrow before realizing he wants a fight. "Hoh... Okay." He grins a bit, before pulling out his starting Vanguard, face-down and slides it onto the Vanguard circle. "Never seen you around before. What's your name?" Haruka shuffles his deck, awaiting a response.

The first fight was a complete stomp on the side of Ryuske. Haruka was stuck on Sadegh, or as his acquaintances call it, "Sad egg" for two whole turns. He ended up getting squashed out rather quickly, however a rematch was instated due to such awful luck on Haruka's part.

This fight was much more interesting. The matchup was Kagero vs Kagero, so the fire was intense. People even started watching with Haruka yelling his heart out in the fight, and Ryuske not backing down an inch. This match had gone mostly in Haruka's favor for the opening into mid-game, scoring a heal trigger and having full field advantage come the time Ryuske makes it to grade 3.

This is where things got dicey.

Ryuske bravely declared his attack. Blazing Flare was pursuing Dragonic Overlord across the field. Haruka has hand advantage and is only at 3 damage. He smirks, and yells, "Gimme your best shot, no guard!"

That's exactly what happened.

"Double critical to Blazing Flare Dragon!" Haruka's jaw dropped for a moment. He was holding a perfect guard in his hand and neglected to use it, causing his downfall. "Remind me never to gamble the damage board..."

Haruka was silent staring as he lost again. He breathed in, and started laughing, harder and harder for a few seconds.

"That was great, hahaha, you rock dude. That was intense!" Ryuske was still mostly calm, but he smiled too, or so Haruka believed. "I enjoyed it a lot."

Haruka extended his hand out. "Nice to meet'cha, I'm Haruka Nakahara. I'm not very good, but whenver I'm knocked down I'll always stand back up!" His signature goofy grin bears itself.

"Or so I'd like to think."

"You've grown Haru. The Dragon Empire would be proud for you to be their Vanguard." Overlord praised Haruka, despite losing his fight.

The first fight was surprising to him as it wasn't the kind of fight Ryuske wanted. The win came too easily and he knew it wasn't the best of what his opponent could do with his deck. It wasn't too hard for him to decide that a rematch would be a good idea, especially since it would be more than likely a fair fight. And indeed round two was a fair fight, though Ryuske got stuck at grade 2 while his opponent rode his avatar in what looked like a hopeless situation. However Ryuske managed to dodge the bullet, being tied with his foe due to a heal trigger on their drive check.

It was then that Ryuske drew his own avatar, Blazing Flare Dragon. Riding Blazing Flare, with the disadvantage on the field, he knew it was all or nothing if he wanted even a chance to win. "Boosted by Sadig, my avatar attacks your Vanguard!" he declared, somewhat surprised by the reply of no guard. His drive check then caused a collective jaw drop among those watching and participating. The first crit trigger was something one could expect as likely. The second however was beyond his belief, with the result being 6-3 after his opponent could not get a heal trigger in the damage check.

The silence of his opponent left Ryuske a bit concerned, but the laughter caused him to loosen back up. Good, he could take losses like that in stride. "Yeah it was really fun man. You rock too," he replied with a smile of his own.

Shaking their hand, he was glad to get the person's name. "Nice to meet you too Haruka, and that's the best outlook to have in life. Never let anything keep you from standing back up," he replied with a grin of his own.

It felt like ages since the queen had last graced the commoners of Card Capital. She had been here for the opening contest, but after day one, the event bored her. There was another time when she came to replace Barcgal, but that was a couple of seconds getting in and getting out. Only now would be the return to fight everyone inside as much as possible. With a malicious grin, excitement was plastered all over her pretty face. The slums fighters were strong for their kind, but they only offered difficulty through the handicap of cheating. Some were good without it though, and some were especially powerful combining it with their genuine skill.

However, this shop was a place of clean fighting, a safe haven for pure skill and talent.

"Safe" until she got there anyway.

Making the declaration that she was going to fight everyone inside... some fighters already ran out screaming, knowing who she was.

Ryuske heard the declaration and chuckled with a shake of his head. Whoever that was definitely felt confident in their skills that they could take on everyone inside the shop. Well, what else could he do but oblige her challenge and take her on? Sides, it was someone new to meet and face off against.

"Well, I dunno what all the fuss is about, but I'll take you on," he said with a grin. He wasn't sure if looks shot his way were looks of warning or looks of surprise, but either way they confused him as to what they were for. Were there people afraid of her? And if so, what were they afraid of?

He recognized one girl in the shop as the one crying in the park. She looked really confident, and Haruki figured she must've had a better day today. Yukino abruptly slammed her deck down on the same table a kid did. The queen is getting her fights in today, and she's not taking no for an answer from anyone who leaves themselves open. Though, the boy - Haruki noted that she was the girl he cheered up in the park. She... would've never noticed. Giving a quick thanks, gratitude was further expressed through a fight. While giving him her name of course, looking for more "friends"... having those felt good.

Displaying Lamorak and Violinist more to the public as two powerful, unknown holy knights, she combated Spike Brothers. They were a complete unknown to her, which was fair in exchange for him not recognizing the two cards from the future. A devastating charge was led by Haruki in consecutive attack waves of Grade Three units with Juggernaut Maximum and Sky Diver. But Owl and Epona came to her damage, giving her the power she needed to survive a 32000 powered lane.

Epona returned in Hikari's gamewinning Twin Drive. Fist-pumping into the sky, they gave congratulatory "nice fight" and "good game" recognition to one another.

She wasn't stopping here though, who's next?!

Haruki had an amazing fight with the girl from the park, Yukino. As their first fight of the day in Card Capital, Haruki wanted to make it epic. Yukino used the Roypara clan, with some omega cool units that he'd never seen before. She rushed him pretty quickly to 4 damage, but the next turn Haruki turned the tables getting her to 5 with a rush of his own. In the end, Yukino pulled through and hit Haruki with a critical trigger from Alfred. The game was definitely one of the most amazing Haruki had ever fought. Hopefully he could fight her again sometime.

Almost entirely oblivious to the next fighter's attraction to her beauty, the fight began with her hype. Though, she didn't skip over giving her name and learning her opponent's: Kaze. She'd never make the mistake of not getting someone's name again, beginning to give people the respect they deserve. A mirror match of Royal Paladin ensued, her deck lacking a definitive finisher, and Kaze's championing Soul Saver Dragon. A Grade Lock on both ends hurt, but Yukino nabbed a Grade Two first: Akane. Though, he got his own Blaster Blade to even the playing field without heavy disadvantage. Early Draw Triggers tipped the scale constantly, but Violinist proved to be essential to Superior Call efficiency.

While she had used Violinist and Akane before against Haruka, this time was a combo of Violinist calling the Avatar. Then, blazing a trail of light across the battlefield, Blaster Blade retired one of Kaze's soldiers. Even so, Holy Charging Roar at a frightening amount of power-stages came raining down. Thanks to her own Margals, Iseult, and everyone's effort in general, they survived.

Alabaster Owl appeared for the finishing Twin Drive, just as Epona did before.

On top of fun, Kaze called her pretty... It was sort of weird, despite having been called this before. Maybe with her ego deflation... she's not taking compliments for granted. Giving him a smile and a "good game", she made sure to remember his face.

There was talk of her sister being here, so she came along to see what was going on, that and the fact Hana herself was in the mood for a few rounds of cardfighting also give her all the more reason to come into Card Capital. Tired from a long day of work, she wanted to hold a concert with her Bermuda Triangle. She looked around to spot Yukinee fighting someone along one of the tables, and they seemed to be just about finished. She removed her deck from her bag and felt a strange shock,. A hock that came from the feeling that they were absent, or that her Bermuda Triangle was gone. She quickly turned over the top card of her deck, a bead of sweat rolling down the right side of her forehead, and her heart pounding quickly.

There was nothing to worry about, she much just be tired. Top Idol, Pacifica was still there, smiling along with her penguins and drifting across the sea. "Hime-sama, is there a problem?" Pacifica asked her, obviously worried. Hana was glad to hear Pacifica's voice as a sign of assurance as well. She looked over to the table where her sister was playing and started walking towards it. "N-no, I just... must be really tired." She assured Pacifica.

"We know the events have been so sudden, and we know that you were never prepared for all this, but just remember that Bermuda Triangle is here for you Hime-sama."

"Arigatou Pacifica-chan."

Her sister finished the fight by the time she reached the table, Miyuki was there too, observing the fight closely. She greeted them.
"Hello minna-san!"

Feeling on top of the world, Hikari turned to Isabella. Almost immediately while beaming more than ever, she hugged the princess, lifting her off the ground a little bit too. Putting her down after a moment, she just kept smiling. "Hana, good timing!" she greeted, "Today's a day of endless fighting, and you're invited to face me!".

The queen hadn't fought with the little sister since Card Capital's opening. While wanting to put out of her mind "Chosen Sword" and "Cray's Vanguard", she wanted to think of them as just regular, ordinary humans today. But she couldn't deny that the thought of facing the girl who is to lead Cray over her was an exciting challenge. Quickly getting the deck of holy knights back together, setting it on the table, Yukino placed an arm around Hana to hug her again.

"Are you alright, though?" an inquiring, concerned sibling questioned. Noticing that Hana looked exhausted... not only that, but sort of worried herself about something. Making sure she was okay came before any fight.

She hugged her sister. It seems that her sister was continuing the endless fighting from last night, she was glad that Yukinee was having fun. Of course, she didn't wish to pass up her sister's offer for a fight.

"Of course!" She placed her deck on the table, across from her sister and took her place. There was no intention to make Yukinee worry, she was having a great time. Hana forgot about her exhaustion, and her worry. She just let out a smile, let she would when releasing her idol persona. "Nee-san I'm completely fine, just a little tense from the idea of having to fight someone as strong as you of course!"

Yukino had seemed slightly different. She had certainly been more polite than usual to an unknown person. She had also obtained what appeared to be a new card, "Starlight Violinist".

'I see, so Yukino has gotten stronger.' She hadn't made it to Nationals, which must have been crushing for her. 'But still, she has gotten back up, and improved. Perhaps I should do the same...'

With a start, she noticed Hana approaching. She seemed more tired and down then usual, but still greeted them cheerfully. In a flash, Yukino challenged her as well.

'Yukino wants to fight more? Well, no harm in observing some more'. Staying where she was, she continued to watch, as Yukino started playing against Hana.

With no time to spare, Haruka and Satoshi come flying into Card Capital like bats out of hell, with goodies in both hands.

Haruka and Satoshi both ended up taking a detour to the shopping district for candy and soda once finding out Haruka still had 8,000 yen left in his back pocket. He was gonna use it for groceries, but they were both really craving candy. Satoshi ended up buying an assortment of sweets, while Haruka stuck with sea-salt ice cream and watermelon bubble gum. His standard setup. He also got a strawberry soda to boot, costing about 2,300 yen total. They then raced over to Card Capital, however finding themselves out of breath by the time they reached the park. Taking a small break and consuming a bit of their new candy cache, they chat about small things. Nothing important, really.

After a breather, they break for it to Card Capital once more. This time reaching the front door, they burst through like two kids who tried to enter the same time and got stuck, thus falling to the floor. Haruka took the brunt of the impact, Satoshi falling on top of him after.

"We're here!" They yell in unison. Haruka with less vigor due to his ribs most likely being bent into oblivion as they speak.

However the two felt bad nearly right after, noticing an important Cardfight was happening.

Hana vs Yukino. This was something to watch, for sure.

Though Yukino harshly depleted Hana's hand, Rio and friends refreshed it easily. This was Bermuda Triangle's strong suit: not power, but resources. The queen let out a sigh as a Critical Trigger broke through to put her on six damage. A bit disheartened that her little sister not only usurped the title of Cray's Vanguard from her, but now that she had beaten the big sister. It was only natural since Hana was a national champion for good reason, and an Espoir at that.

Unable to help feeling a bit disdain, she'd just have to get used to it. The emotion of "happy" overflowed from the queen today, and jealousy wasn't going to ruin that. Giving a smile and a giggle to Hana after the game and hearing her question how Pacifica... uses the bathroom without legs... No, it was better to not think about it after all.

Gancelot is a bit of an anti-social prick, even if he apologized. Everyone forgave him, but Yukino stated her deck needed to improve. As such, Gancelot was content with taking a backseat. Today's events would make good experience for deck editing too.

Upon the doors flying open, Hikari turned to see her two friends finally get here. "About time you lazy bastards, where were you?!" she grinned, motioning them over. "I'm taking your advice and dropping Gancelot, he hasn't been helpful. With Violinist calling Blaster Blade, I guess I need him even less."

"Wait, bathroom break!!!" Hana then heard water splash sounds and Pacifica's voice faded away.
"OMG PACIFICA WAIT!!" Hana drew her opening hand, Pacifica wasn't there.
"Damage check..." It was Pacifica.

"BAAAAKAAA!!!!"

After the fight she had a small talk with her sister, also a bit of scolding with Pacifica. They both giggled, Yukino seems to be enjoying herself so Hana was glad. She wanted nothing more that to her sister happy. News came from Cray's United Alliance that Gancelot was to sign up for therapy sessions for his anti-social issues...which Hana found really random.

Then suddenly a large thud and crash. It was Yukinee's footstools, the renegade of thirsty followers and potential suitors, boyfriends... or Dad-san's punching bags.

"Oh right they didn't die yesterday."

Seeing the fight end, Miyuki was again struck by the fact that Hana seemed distant now. Well at least she had gotten happier during the fight. Seeing two people move towards Yukino after the fight, and seeing her actually talk nicely to them was also a shock.

'In the short time between not making Nationals and now, Yukino has changes this much?' Miyuki glanced at her vanguard deck. For some reason, she felt bold right now. She felt like throwing caution to the winds. Switching a few cards around swiftly, she got up and walked over to Yukino.

'U-um, Yukinee? Are you up for a fight still?' She waited for Yukino's response, feeling stangely both nervous and calm.

Satoshi smiles back at Yukino, while Haruka taps on the ground yelling, "Mercy, mercy, get off of meeeee!" Haruka pushes himself up, forcing Satoshi off onto the ground as well.

"Looked like a good fight. But what was that about Pacifica-?" Haruka just kind of shut up, realizing Satoshi was still on the ground and asking for a hand up. With a quick pull, they were both at attention. Haruka took out his last bar of ice cream and can of soda and sat in a chair nearby. Satoshi decided to just stand behind Yukino, near the fight table.

"What'd we miss?" Satoshi asks. Haruka was wondering the same thing mostly. With a swift glance looks over to Hana, Haruka explains, "Yeah, we're still alive. Mostly. I think my dignity died a little." After which, Haruka sighed and hung his head towards the ground. "Yup. Dignity is dead."

"You can't do this to me! I have rights to be a loner!" Gancelot protested...

Yukino approached Haruka, swiping away the ice cream bar with a "thanks", biting into it. Taking a bag of sugar waffers from Satoshi as a gift from him, she collected her cards again, then took out Gancelot, putting another card on the bottom in his place. The queen laughed, hearing how Dad Espoir destroyed their dignity. Mostly glad nothing else was destroyed of them, the bag was placed on the table, and an arm placed on around Satoshi's shoulders.

"You missed me on a fight-a-thon, and you guys are joining in!" Yukino responded to the farm boy's inquiry, giving a command. "We got lots of training to do to get ourselves back into the swing of things! Today starts that with victims!" she declared, openly calling opponents "victims"... It was no wonder people hightailed it out of the shop, her majesty is looking for heads.

"In fact, behold", Yukino started, looking over toward Miyuki. "I am up for a fight still, let's go Miyuki!"

This woman was bloodthirsty even when she wasn't acting like a pompous jerk.

Hana watched Yukinee and Mi-hime faito.

Hana observing Mi-hime opening up with a full hand of Riviere chain then turns to Pacifica and says, "why can't you be like Riviere-chan bakaaa!!! bakaaaa!!!"

Pacifica starts fake sobbing and Aqua starts to talk to thorugh her fish microphone, "Pacifica is just lazyyyy okkkk!"

"Of course I knew you that!!" Hana answered back. Pacifica continued with the fake sobbing and Aqua eventually got annoyed and slapped her with a fish.

"OW!" Pacifica shouted.

After Yukinee and Mi-hime's fight had ended, Hana realized that Miyuki had improved a lot on her performing too, to be expected from her practice buddy! The air was light right now, it's just a lot of fun, Hana treasured these moments.

Miyuki's strange feeling had seemed to pay off. Although it was rare, her opening hand contained all 3 stages of Riviere. This way, even when the search failed, she was still set to ride the whole chain out. With the bonus of Riviere's draws upon riding, she quickly started rushing Yukino, trying to take her out before the Royal Paladin's natural power could overcome her. Despite Blaster Blade being ridden and retiring Aqua, she was able to ride Top Idol, Riviere.

Once again filling the field, she attacked, and upon hitting with Riviere, unleashed her Persona Blast, powering up her units much like Soul Saver Dragon. Yukino rallied back, but was eventually beaten by Comical Rainie's timely arrival. For a second, Miyuki couldn't believe that she had actually won. She unusually felt extremely happy that she won, despite usually not caring whether she won or lost.

'Thanks for the fight, and I hope you enjoyed the performance, Yukinee'.

Maybe Vanguard could affect her even more than she thought. All her brooding about Hana feeling distant felt silly now, and she laughed aloud, thinking about how stupid she had been.

Yukino AP +1

Her thoughts turned towards Riviere now. Was it coincidence, that she had fully shown up in this cardfight, with this timing? No, she was probably thinking too deeply about this. Mentally shaking herself, she sat back down, enjoying the day.

Yukino slammed her fist on the table. This was so frustrating! She even screamed, infuriated, but it felt so good to have this emotion. The ability to accept failure. Even the Royal Paladins were irritated, though, a happy kind of irritated. Blaster Blade commended Lamorak's efforts today, and everyone gave praise to Violinist as well for being an incredibly powerful addition. They all, even the king, apologized to the Chosen Sword. Hikari only responded that she didn't care if they messed up or not, this was the time of her life.

Finishing the ice cream bar, Yukino thanked Miyuki for the performance. There wasn't a lot of times, especially lately, where she and Hana's friend could really bond. This was a real treat, finally getting to plan with her in a good mood from both sides. Having fun was the best part of it.

Miyuki +1 Affinity
Royal Paladin +10 Affinity

"Let's carry on this momentum!" the queen ordered, out loud.

"Yeaaaaah!!" The Royal Paladin clan roared in return.

The game was pretty awesome, or so Haruka thought. With his ice cream being robbed by Yukino, he just pouted and watched the game silently, sipping on his soda here and there. Noticing the ride chain go through smoothly, Miyuki had an advantage from the get go. This meant that the Royal Paladins, with no real draw advantage, would have to rely on trigger checks and expert guarding to win. Alas, that wasn't the case.

Satoshi leaned in close to watch the game, seeing how all the plays unfold. Haruka was mostly sulking over the loss of his treat.

Within a decent window of time, Haruka was pretty into the game too, though. Miyuki finishes off with a critical breaking through the 10K guard.

"Wow..." Haruka let out. He was genuinely interested in the play-by-play for once. This was a sight for sore eyes.

"So, who's next?" Satoshi nervously asks. Haruka and Satoshi are both unwilling to be victims; mostly Haruka, having played nearly 40 something games just hours ago. All the ice-cream and soda in the world could not make Haruka want to play another game that day. He was beat. Haruka puts his hands up, as if surrendering before he's even challenged.

"I'm good for the day." Haruka lets out. Satoshi takes a step back as well. The queen is definitely on a rampage, and they do not want to step in front of it.

Munching on a sugar cookie excitedly, she was sure to give her lazy boys a beatdown later. Regardless, she let them refrain for now. Even sharing some of the treats with them as the onslaught continued. Spending all day playing cards, fight after fight, the need for "purpose" vanished. Instead, it became a yearning to earn it. A fire was born in her heart, dashing through defense lines of other opponents. Some managed to get wins off of her, which only fueled her spirit.

The answer she was looking to give Jellal... It wasn't one that she had yet. Still, she would try to answer him with the feelings she feels today, right now.

"Vanguard is fun, and it doesn't have to be a tool of darkness and malicious ambition to achieve one's goals."

Haruka, still somewhat upset about his ice cream, takes a step out of Card Capital for fresh air. His mind wanders in every which way, wondering what he had stumbled into. "These are friends... hmm. Not like Daichi though, friends I actually want to rely on.." Haruka smiles a bit, hands in pockets. He pulls out Dragonic Overlord. It's warm to the touch, at first. Then suddenly hotter.

"You okay there, Overlord?" Haruka asks, with a slight smile. His smile fades as the heat all but disappears. The card feels dead. "W-What?" Haruka finds himself panicking a little. He pulls Nehalem and Bahr too. They're still very warm however, unlike Overlord. Haruka scratched his head and bit his lip, in puzzlement. He leaned against the wall of Card Capital outside the shop. "What the..." Haruka was worried. The flame is his body was spreading rapidly across, but this was less of emotion and one of pure panic. He attempts to settle down, but with the lack of Overlord's banter and consistent comments, he suddenly feels less at peace with himself.

"What is going on here.."

The door to Card Capital opened.  The still enraged King of Vanguard walked through the doors, and shoved someone away from the nearest table, scattered the kid and his opponent's cards, and slammed his deck down on the table.  "HIKARI," he shouted, louder than he ever had before, "I DEMAND A FINAL REMATCH BEFORE I RETURN TO EUROPE!"  The King's voice roared through the card shop, with most people turning to look at him in terror.

"Wasn't that the guy who placed second in the Nationals!?"  One kid whispered, and after seeing someone else nod, both of them bolted out of the cardshop.  Even the manager, who was at the counter, was too afraid to try and get this man to leave.  People could practically see lightning in Cero's eyes, and several more ran out.

Those that didn't run began talking among themselves about the foreigner who just walked into their card shop, having only ever seen him on TV.  "He's even scarier in real life..."  "I DON'T WANT TO DIE YET!"  "Why is he so loud?"  "IS ANYONE ELSE SEEING LIGHTNING!?"  "Who the heck is this guy, thinking he can walk in and start shouting his lungs out!?"  "OH MY GOD IT'S THE KING, I WANT HIS AUTOGRAPH!!!"

Cero, however, ignored all of them, his eyes fixed solely on his rival.  The rival he'd fight one last time before returning home.  He believed that this fight would let him see what the lacked, whatever it was.

Hana and Pacifica giggled a little, they were glad Screamo-kun was his usual screaming self. "Another Cardfight for Yukinee huh....." She said to herself. Today's been a lot of fun, seeing so many familiar faces. Screamo-kun really was attracting a lot of attention. Hana let him keep his thunder and stay in the down low, this was his final moment before going back to Europe after all. She took a seat next Yukinee and looked at her Bermuda Triangle deck. All the cards filled with smiles and happiness made her smile as well.

"You guys are so wierd..." she commented.
"Where did that come from?" Ressac asked with a bit of an attitude.
"Be quiet you!" Hana ordered
"No I'm taking my stand here." Ressac hissed back.
"Ressac no." Flows interrupted.
"WHY DO YOU USE EVERYONE ELSE IN THE DRIVE QUARTET BUT ME!?!?!" Ressac inquired her, very loudly at that.
"I think we have been through this many times," Hana explained.

The other units including Pacifica and Flute laughed at the conversation, and also at Ressac. Because Ressac was the Bermuda Triangle problem child. Ressac let out a smile herself too, nothing wrong with some innocent teasing. Hana still isn't going to put her in any of her decks though.

Yukino threw a cookie in his face.

Then she butted heads with him, the space around the King and Queen set ablaze by fire that rivaled even Eternal Flame. "Keep your voice down, king of jobbers, you're gonna bust one of my eardrums!", she retorted, anger veins pulsating on her forehead and her fist. Like she was one to talk, she's been shouting all day. Honestly, whoever stayed was brave, because these two fighting could easily destroy everything in sight if the battles on Cray were a reality on Earth. Hikari's heart pounded harshly in her chest, the heat born from the very idea of a farewell battle with her royal rival was far too good to pass up in any lifetime.

"Challenge accepted! I'll give you a match worth bragging about to back home!"

The last game between the Royal Paladin divisions was set, this eternity (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoJtuE2aiaA) in a moment would be the peak of Hikari's day - her week even.

Outside, the wall Haruka leaned on had transformed into a door with "Shop PSY" labelled above it. He fell into it...

The final battle between the King of Beasts and the King of Knights began, the King versus the Queen, lightning versus fire, Ego versus Ego.  Throughout the entire battle, they matched each other blow for blow, responding to every play the other made.  Sparks flew, and those brave few that stayed were enthralled by how close the game was.  By only the second turn, Cero had filled his field.  Not long after, it was time for the clash of the Kings.  The battle continued intensely as their exchange of blows continued, with Cero aiming at the rear-guards to weaken Alfred.  However, Hikari brought forth new ones with ease, and eventually summoned forth her Avatar, Blaster Blade.  The turn she did, Hikari drive checked double triggers, forcing Cero to use most of his remaining shield.  Cero attempted to end it on his next turn by bringing forth his final snogal, but was unable to, leaving him wide open for Hikari's last series of attacks.  He stopped Gallatin and Alfred, but with all of his shield depleted, Blaster Blade struck the final blow.  Cero saw the battle in his mind, and saw Garmore's armor shatter with the blow, along with Cero's pride...  He thought he had surpassed her...  But she had something he didn't, the thing he lacked.  He finally realized what it was, and stood up.

"Hikari!!!  This isn't over yet," he shouted while pointing at her.  "I will return here again, and next time, I'll be the one who defeats you!"  Cero walked out of the card shop, leaving his deck behind.

After witnessing the final battle, King of Beasts against King of Knights, Miyuki decided to leave. It was late, and she wanted to be home quickly. Bidding goodbye to anyone still in Card Capital, she walked out of the door, and headed home. Once out the door, she started running, perhaps out of instinct, feeling that she wanted to be home as soon as she could.

Hikari was sweating, and the droplets were flying as cards soared around. A new kind of high took over her mind, instincts instead of genuine strategy and tactic guided the Chosen Sword and Royal Paladin clan under Alfred. It was like a storm, and her head felt like it was under the spell of a fever dream. Everything was so hot... the heat of this rivalry was almost too much, but everyone pressed on. Cero took a superior start with a heavy turn two rush, but the queen managed to stay in the game and counterattack with Alfred. Against the onslaught of Garmore and snow dogs, it was almost looking bad without the help of triggers saving the day. Palamedes stayed vigilant, returning to battle when he fell, and Lamorak gave everything he could. Blaster Blade finally appeared, and they were faced with the King of Beasts' final gambit. Ultimately... it fell short.

A ferocious image blazed forth, Hikari landing a decisive blow with her Avatar after Alfred and Gallatin couldn't make it. Such passion had never before been expressed in the queen's imagination. Blaster Blade's sword smashed against Garmore, the two of them roaring as the brilliant fang's armor was broken apart, Llew being Cero's final damage check.

Yukino could feel the king's pride go with that armor, yet, she could tell. He... found his answer as well.

"I'm looking forward to it", she responded to his protesting that their fight was far from over. Giving a silent farewell, she looked forward to the day she'd meet Cero again.

Cero +4 Affinity

Unfortunately, everyone started getting kicked out. The fight was intense and the shopkeeper didn't want to break it up, but it was past midnight. Closing time!

Yukino took her things and walked out with the others, they going their separate ways. But, she... facing destiny.

"There's something strange going on hime-sama... the Rift seems to have make its move." Pacifica said, worried and distressed.

She noticed Cero had left his deck on the table before leaving to return to Europe.... that wierdo really does need to go to the hospital... He should have already traveled a great distance by this point so Hana decided to hold onto the deck for him and find a possible way to return it. She picked up the deck, and turned over one of the cards. As the princess she had been able to communicate with all kinds of units, usually the representatives of Cray's United Alliance. So she tried to communicate with one of Cero's cards.

"Woof."

Dandy.

She put the deck in her bag.

Hana watched as her sister exited the shop, everything was moving on its own, as if being pushed by an invisible force. "So this is... fate." she said to herself. She followed Yukino, kept a steady pace behind her, never walking beside her nor in front of her. She looked at her sister from the back of her head, her sister's beautiful hair flowing down and moving in a waving motion. The walk lasted for awhile, her heart beating due to a strange feeling, rather, a strange sensation. For a moment it felt like only one deck was in her bag at the time, Cero's.

Haruka walks out of the PSY Shop, bathed in sweat and heat. He feels like he'd burn nearly anything he touched. Panting, he finds himself knelt on the ground in front of Card Capital again. The cool nighttime wind starts to create a chill all over Haruka's body. He gulps. With no time to spare, he looks at the treasure in his hand.

"Dragonic... Overlord... The End." Haruka spoke these words, and as he did, he felt the heat from his deck like a fire spreading throughout his entire hand. It almost burned to hold the deck in his hand anymore. He picked up the card. Examining it.

"Haruka... I have evolved! And now, we, My Vanguard and I, shall fight on! Burn everything to ash. We will..." Overlord waiting for Haruka. His gasps paused for a moment, as he smiled ecstatically.

"Stand back up!!"
"Stand back up!!"  They chanted in unison. Haruka felt the flames from his hand travel somewhere new. Somewhere in his chest. It was deeper than that, though. It was in his veins. His blood. His heart.

The Heart of Flames, Haruka, stood up once more. "Let's go!" Haruka looked in Card Capital to find Yukino and Hana had disappeared. "Where could they be?" He searches and scans and realizes something. Off in the distance. The wind was blowing intensely hard. "There." Overlord agreed, as Haruka mad dashed towards the Shopping District, despite being soaked in sweat and already out of breath. This was a test of the heart, and whether or not they could bare the fire deep within.

Haruki headed to Card Capital with high spirits, ready to have an epic cardfight with Tsubasa. After meeting up with him and Hazama the other day, the two planned to have a fun fight at the shop.

As Haruki rushed through the city, he wondered what he could test against Tsubasa after all the training he had with Sydney. With all the amazing clans and playstyles he'd used, the boy realized there was so much more to vanguard than the Spike Brothers that his family had always used.

"This is it," Haruki said, looking up at the card shop in front of him. "It's time to get my game on!"

He burst through the doors and saw Tsubasa waiting in the shop already, so Haruki pulled out one of his decks. "Hey Tsubasa! You ready to fight?"

The two cardfighters shared exciting cardfights and understood more about each other in the process, Tsubasa now has the desire to fight against the dimension police fighter that haruki referred to.

"Thank you for the cardfights, Haruki, I think i'm going to go home now...I feel a slight headache coming." he said, as he rose from his seat and walked towards the door.

"Let me know when you go train with that fighter." he said, as he began to exit the store.

Tsubasa may have been feeling a bit of pain in his head, but that did not stop him from recognizing Hazama among the people within the store, he did not have the strength to face him at his current condition, but he did recognize something.

"You still remember don't you....you really have not given up Hazama." he thought as he started walking home. "This pain though...it's been so long since I've felt this pain."

Kurai had been defeated once more. His head ached in some pain and his personality returned to normal. Haruki smiled and asked him, "When did you come up with that awesome combination play with Stil Vampir?"

"Stil...Vampir?" Kurai had no idea what he was on about. "I've never heard of this card"

Haruki looked confused. "Huh, then why is it on your field?"

Kurai inspected his field to find, there in the left back-row column of his rear-guard... was the Grade 3, Stil Vampir. The foil card glistened in the shop's light. It was a Dark Irregulars card. A grade 3 he had never seen before. He read the skill and was amazed at its power. He returned the card to the deck and looked back up at Haruki.

"I never got your full name, what is it?"

"Haruki Yahagi, my family use the Spike brother's clan, although I'm thinking of leaving the tradition behind to experience...."

"Pale Moon" he said whilst once again looking at his deck.

"Pale Moon? is that a fun clan to use?" Haruki asked. Kurai nodded and added "I'm going to need to sit down abit, my head hurts" With this, Kurai left to sit down on a chair.

Hana walked into the cardshop, deciding that this little detour wouldn't hurt.

She looked on the shelves, for a certain set. As much as she looked, it wasn't there. Even outside of her own deck, the cards she owned, there was really no Bermuda Triangle at all anymore. She sat down for a bit and took out a chocolate bar from her purse. She was in the very table that she had her fight with Yukinee, the fight before her clan had disappeared. Her tiny Labrador was running on the ground, quickly moving under the table and in-between her legs, then outside once more to where she was visible. Hana looked at her and pet her lightly.

"Woof."

Haruki had a great time at Card Capital, fighting some amazing opponents. He met Kurai there, and they had an epic fight just like the boy expected. Using his Spike Brothers deck once again, Haruki faced off with the Dark Irregulars clan. Kurai had extreme passion in their fight, and Haruki as well.

In the end, Spike Brothers barely survived a Stil Vampir mega blast and got the victory. There, sat before him was a young cute girl in a school uniform. Her blue eye's resonating with her long blue hair. There was no doubt about it, Kurai was sure that this young lady was an idol, or at least someone important.

Peeking his interest further, he decided to ask the girl her name and why she was here.

"Em, excuse me..." Kurai cleared his throat. "Hello, and who might you be, young miss?"

"My name is Hana Isabella Espoir, and I like Vanguard!" She answered cheerfully.

That was basically what came into her mind. Explaining every other actual answer to the "who" question would most likely take awhile or just be far too complicated so she just introduced herself as an average everyday fighter. She then yawned, in seeming unison with her little dog. She was still pretty tired from yesterday. Hana opened her bag and placed the leftover of the chocolate bars from the inside. Out of politeness, she may as well ask her current inquirer about himself as well.

"Yup, and who are you?"

The girl had introduced herself as Hana  Isabella Espoir, Kurai decided to shorten it down to just Hana, to make speaking to her alot simpler. He had also heard her mention that she likes Vanguard.

[Didn't figure her for the card-fighter type, mind you, I don't look the part so I can't judge either]Kurai thought to himself.

"My name you ask? Good point, it would be rude if I only knew your name" he stated in a ordinary tone, "My name is Kurai. Kurai Tsukino."

He contemplated telling her why he was here at Card Capital in the first place, although he dismissed it to be boring trivial facts that the girl would find uninteresting or dislike. Kurai decided to develop more on the situation, so decided to ask her more.

"You said you're a cardfighter, correct? I also happen to be one of them. If its okay with you, do you mind telling me how you discovered Vanguard?"

With this, he waited for a response that might give him more information about the girl.

"Aitsu-kun. Okay, I see, nice to meet you." she nodded.

He was asking straightforward questions at least, but Hana's answers sounded weird when she said it in her head so she had to take a bit of time to simplify it. She can't mention that she discovered Vanguard because her sister was destined for some sort of greatness or that she found her deck due to her ability to talk to cards. She took out the extra info, and came up with a simple reply.

"My sister introduced it to me."
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital

Kurai's attention shifted towards that sentence... his thought indicated that from her tone, she left out some details involving how she discovered Vanguard. However, undoubtedly her sister was the main cause. Kurai decided to reveal how he learnt about vanguard to her. He sensed a trust in her, similar to the one he has in his sister, Yuri.

"Seem's like I'm not the only one that was introduced by a family member" I said in a relaxed, but serious voice. "My sister taught me how to play as well, until I eventually became good at it."

Kurai's thought drifted to something else for a brief moment, a painful memory:one he wished to forget. Once again he found another question he could use to find information about this girl, whom be believed to be a popular idol.

"Hana-chan, if I may ask, what clan do you use?"

While chillaxing outside of Card Capital, Haruki managed to look over the Pale Moon deck he had on him to get a better feel of how to use it, then get a nice sleep on a bench. It wasn't the most comfortable of spots to take a snooze, but he still felt refreshed getting up.

"Back to Card Capital," Haruki said as he walked into the shop once again.

When he entered, he noticed Kurai was still in the shop, and it looked like he was with a friend that had a cute dog. Not sure how he recognized the person Kurai was talking to, Haruki went over with a friendly smile to say hi.

"Hey guys. What's up?"

"As of right now I am using Royal Paladin which is a gift from a friend of mine."

Flashbacks of screamo-kun, Cero, return to her mind. How he forgot his deck before going back to Europe as well as their silly conversations during the finals of the Vanguard National Tournament where they last fought. She used Bermuda Triangle during that time, they were at the top of their game at that time. Of course, now they're sadly unusable. As much as Hana wants to say that she uses Bermuda Trangle, no one would know what that is, as she has just confirmed, the clan's existence has seemingly been wiped off entirely throughout Cray and the game Vanguard.

She took a deep breath and relaxed herself, leaning on the chair, her puppy nibbling a little on shirt's long sleeve. Someone ekse seems to have areived with a greeting as well.

"Not much, just relaxing with my doge," she answered.

Kurai noticed a sad glimpse in her eye. He wondered if it brought back a bad memory. He knew that if a person keep themselves in the past, they would certainly miss the future, yet he wondered the cause of the sadness. Attempting to avoid moving closer to the cause of the emotional trauma.

He took a deep breath, and gently composed himself to allow himself to act normally.

He tried thinking of where he remembered the girl from once more, but the words couldn't come to his head. She was someone famous and Vanguard related for sure, but no matter. It looked like Kurai was about to have a cardfight with her, so maybe he could figure it out that way.

Hazama walks into Card Capital for the second time today. Why do I keep coming here?

He strolls around a bit to find the national champion, Hana Espoir, fighting some guy Hazama has never seen before. "Dark Irregulars," he mumbled under his breath. "This will be interesting."

After a marvellous bout, with both Hana-chan and Kurai, Kurai emerged victorious due to the Dark Queen of Nightmare Land (A stand trigger).
He felt the eminence passion of Hana-chan during the game. A passion that quelled the other personality that embroidered itself within Kurai.

"You played well, Hana-chan. You are really good." He said with a smile on his face. It was clear that this game had excited him.

"Arigato, Aitsu-kun" She replied back.

[Her fighting ability, it... it feels like I was competing on a completely different level. Perhaps she practices alot... that's probably the case] He was thinking about how she acted in the cardfight. She was having fun;Just like he used to do. She smiled, laughed and overall enjoyed herself.

Whilst shaking her hand in a show of mutual respect: A deathly gaze oppressed Kurai's thoughts as he turned to see an interesting foe

After the amazing game, Haruki still couldn't come up with any leads on who this girl could be, no matter how familiar she looked to him. As he turned however, Haruki saw one of his friends standing beside him that had been watching the match. Hazama has been bit down in the dumps ever since Haruki saw him again at the slums last night. Maybe a chat would get him back in an upbeat mood.

"Hey Hazama, how's it been?" Haruki asked with curiosity.

Hazama sees Haruki approach him after the fight. Does this person ever leave people alone?

"Haruki," he says in reply. "Why are you so curious about my recent actions I have taken?"

Haruki was taken aback. He never thought about how Hazama might not want to talk about what he's been doing.

"Well, I just thought it'd be nice to hear what you've been up to since the park. I mean, you've been so down since then, maybe you could cheer up, y'know?" the boy said with a nervous smile, rubbing the back of his head in sudden embarrassment.

"Please. Cheer up? I feel just fine actually. Now haven't your parents told you to mind your own business?" he asked Haruki.

"And why are you so scared to even talk to me?" he proceeded with the questions. "If you are, then why bother?"

Now there was definitely something to Hazama that was stopping Haruki from making that epic connection that cardfighters have with each other.  He couldn't pinpoint what that barrier was, but he knew that he couldn't back down if he wanted to keep up with Hazama. Now their friendship was on the line.

"I'm not giving up Hazama." Haruki's tone was full of determination. "You say I shouldn't bother, but talking with each other is what friends do. You're my friend so I can't leave this be."

Haruki took out the deck Kurai told him to try. This could be his chance to reach Hazama once again. "Let's settle this like real cardfighters."

Call Alluring Succubus, its skill, soulcharge. Again Doreen," Hazama says as the fight between him and Haruki continues on.

"Fulfil my wish of destruction and despair, Vampir defy the laws of Vanguard, megablast!" Sky High Walker to the Vanguard circle (a 4k, grade 0, stand trigger)." "Boosted by Alluring, Decadent attacks your Vanguard (16k)."

"I guard with Sky High walker and Turquoise Beast Tamer," Haruki says.

"How pitiful, your Vanguard is at Grade 0, so you can only guard with Grade 0's," I reply.

"Tch. Fine, Crimson intercepts."

"Boosted by Doreen, my Vanguard Vampir attacks your Vanguard (30k)."

"I can't guard," Haruki says sadly.

"Twin drive, first check. Nothing. Second check, Critical Trigger, the critical to my Vanguard and power to my rearguard Vampir."

I could see the shock on my opponents face at the sheer power facing him.

"Damage check," Haruki says nervously. "No heal, you win."

"Well, if this is all you got, then don't bother challenging me again." Hazama collects his deck, puts it in his holder, gets up, and walks away from the table leaving Haruki behind.

Haruki's attempts to lift Hazama's spirits went to waste. He used the Pale Moon clan like Kurai suggested, but it didn't work out in his favor, similarly to his training with Sydney. Another Stil Vampir mega blast was shot at Haruki's vanguard, and with only grade 0s to guard with, he couldn't hold out. A failed attempt at friendship.

Hazama -1 AF

As he stood there realizing how weak his efforts have been, Hazama walked off being confronted with another fighter.

Maybe they're better friends with him than me. There just has to be a way for me to be better.

As chance would have it, Haruki saw Sydney waving outside the cardshop. The raggedy-clothed man from before had switched into a more suitable attire for the city. He went around the two out of the shop to answer the call and gave a quick hello.

"Hey Sydney."

"Yo Haruki, how has your deck testing went so far? Anything happen while cardfighting?"

"Well, I really tried my best to learn what clan could suit me, but I just can't figure anything out now," Haruki started to snivel while talking.

"Wait. Did something go wrong while you were at Card Capital?"

"Nothing happened at first. I got to fight with my friends and we had lots of fun, but... one of them... just wasn't feeling right. I know Hazama is a good person, since we had so much fun at the park before. Now, he's going way too far, and I can't find a way to get through to him with the level I'm at now."

"Hmm... what this all sounds like," Sydney thought for a second, "is you're trying to bring this kid to justice. You've got a lot of good in you Haruki, more than I had at your age."

"What do you mean?" Haruki knew Sydney was trying to help him out, but was still confused.

"I've never let you play my clan yet have I? The Dimension Police is one for those with a strong sense of justice, and I can see that inside of you Haruki. Up to now, you've said that none of these clans have resonated with you well enough, but this is your chance to bring justice to the world of vanguard." Sydney reached into his pocket and held out a card. "This card was the one that brought me to justice, the Super Dimensional Robo, Daiyusha. Maybe by using this, you can become even stronger than before."

Haruki held the card as it shined and looked back at Sydney with a newfound determination.

"Yeah, you're right Sydney. I've never looked at what I had as justice, but somehow I can feel that this card was meant for me."

"If you're going to learn the ins and outs of the Dimension Police, I'm going to have to train you even more than before. This clan is my specialty, so you'll be learning from a great teacher."

"Alright! I'm ready to start my training!" Haruki shouted with enthusiasm.

"Woah, not so fast there. It's the middle of the night, no time to do anything but get some sleep for you. We'll be doing more practice than ever, so be prepared for the next few months."

"Okay then, I'll see ya then Sydney."

"Good luck Haruki, it's going to be tough. "

Haruki was off to the train station to get some rest. His dismal mood changed into one of excitement, as he couldn't wait to start with this amazing clan, one that would change everything for him. With a drive in his step and a passionate heart, he went home with a new feeling of justice.

Hana entered the shop, looking at the walls like usual. She knew what to expect but it never hurt to have hope.

The shop still didn't have Bermuda Triangle. Kagero, Royal Paladin, and Shadow Paladin were gone too. She decided that she should probably trying to play a few games before heading over to the shopping district to buy her dog some food. It's also been awhile since anything interesting has happened lately. She appreciated the peace, but wouldn't mind if something were to disrupt it as long as it gave her a lead as to where the sealed clans are. At the moment, the alliances of Cray are left clueless and she has been making decisions on less important things as of late. She greeted manager-san hello and sat along one of the tables. She placed her mom's deck on the table and scanned through it, still needing to become familiar with it.

"Mom-san sure is into weird things... or would that be Dad-san...?"

Ighanna catches a glimpse of her acquaintance entering the card shop so she ordered her chauffeur to stop. She then stepped out of her car, fully disguised with sunglasses and sweatpants, and before pushing the door she grabbed a card out of her pocket.

"Whats wrong, master?" declared Metatron as Ighanna was wearing a worried look on her face meanwhile looking down towards her card.

She replied with the typical cliché "I'm fine". Metatron's look wasn't inclined however she did not question any further. She then stood in front of the Card Capital door, allowing the automatic glass panel to do its work. She stepped in and traveled her eye across every table and the counter.

"Metatron do you sense anyone interesting?" Ighanna asked however Metatron shook her head, apparently there wasn't a communicator in here. However what surprised her was that Hana is currently in the shop. Ighanna tried hard to remember what Hana was using when she won the Nationals because she was pretty sure Hana communicated to her cards however all of her memories are blurred out and she couldn't even remember what clan Hana played. Slightly annoyed by the curiousity, she approached Hana and sat directly opposite her.

"Hana-chan, Hi do you remember me? Hahah I'd like to ask a question, what were you using during the Nationals? It became a subject among my friends earlier but everyone seemed to forget. Could you please enlighten me, thank you!" Ighanna said with fake enthusiasm.

Hana looked up to notice her Auntie had approached her, the car stopped outside with the usual driver... whom she somehow thinks has no  name by now. She looked up at Iguana-chan who should really stick to music videos because her acting wasn't that great for someone in Hollywood.

"I used Angel Feathers to win the Nationals," Hana took out a card from among her deck stack and showed it to Iguana-chan, "See."

Love Machine Gun, Nociel reflected off the Card Shop's light, its pink hair and timid face, loading up and ready to shoot three deadly heart-tipped arrows. This reminds Hana of one of her favorite songs, Angel with a Shotgun.

"By the way auntie, is Drake feeling any better yet?"

She hasn't seen Dali-chan for awhile either, and she isn't exactly sure where their bond stands, but she does respect Dali-chan as she does with her Auntie, fellow performers, we gud! Hana was then thought to herself and remembered her question. As Hana-chan reveals her Angel Feather deck to Ighanna, she felt slightly surprised since Ighanna also uses Angel Feathers now, however she used to use the Marquis' Neo Nectar deck before but with Metatron in company, she felt more comfortable with Angel Feathers. Another figure seems to approach the table too and soon Ighanna was flooded with questions.

"Oh, Drake is feeling really fine right now, he was just nominated for Grammy's but poor Drake didn't win it" Said Ighanna as she saw Drake last week at the Academy Awards.

"Dalis! Fancy meeting you here, last time we met at the festival it was a bit too crowded we didn't get much chance to talk together haha. Seems like you also know Hana, how coincidental!" Ighanna replied as she stares at Dalis' hand, analyzing the content of what she was holding.

"Perhaps could that be your new deck?" Ighanna asked in an excited tone, she also has a new deck. After all two months have passed by, can't expect people to stick to their old decks.

"Care to have a quick fight, Igahanna?" Dalis asked, shifting her hair out of her face and adjusting her clothes. She was just looking for something to pass the time, and a fight with Igahanna seemed like a great idea. Not to mention, she really knew nothing about her.

Haruka had raced out of the house this morning, not realizing he forgot a hoodie. It was actually unusually chilly outside, but that didn't stop him from showing up at Card Capital for a fight. However early he made it seemed though, people were always here before him.

Guhhhh. I was hoping to be challenged or something- Oh wait, is that Hana? And... They performed at the beach. Righttttt.

"Hey, Hana! 'Sup?" Haruka sends a wave in her direction as he walks over. He nods to the other two. "I'm Haruka by the way," he directs at the other two girls standing to his right. He wasn't exactly sure if they were up for talking as they seemed to be about to Cardfight, considering the way they both had their decks out. Haruka simply gave an intro and turned back to Hana.

Well, I was looking to fight today after all.

"Hey Hana, when was the last time we actually fought? In the Ramen Shop awhile ago, right?" Haruka recalls.

"Let's fight. It's been awhile, y'know? And, I just made adjustments to my deck. Gotta make it feel just as at home as before."

Just as he gives off the challenge, he notices Miyuki stroll in through the door to Card Capital. "Hii!" Haruka waves to her, except it's not until then he realizes she might not recognize him and sort of just turns back to Hana awkwardly.

Realising that he was going to fight Hana, she sat down, to observe their game. It'd been so long since she'd seen a game of Vanguard up close.

A new Day dawns as Tsubasa puts on his clothes and starts to leave his apartment, he could not shake the feeling that something felt odd, maybe it was the atmosphere. He was unsure, all he wanted to do was go to Card Capital to get some practice with his deck.

On his way to Card Capital he began to feel less strange but he could not shake the feeling of something being wrong or confusing.

"...I can't put my finger on it.." he thought.

He enters the store and goes directly to the showcase and card shelves, interested to see the new cards he'd been hearing about that just arrived in stock.

"May I help you?" said the store manager.
"...Just browsing...not sure what i'm looking for.." he replied
"Oh, what clan do you use?"
"I use....<odd why can't I remember right away, you'd think that a fighter would know which clan he uses in an instant>.."
Tsubasa takes out his deck
"Gold...Paladin that's the clan I use.." he said, after glimpsing his golden avatar: Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel.
"Wonderful, please feel free to check out the piles over here" he said, with a smile.
"Thank You.."

Tsubasa was unsure what came over him, he can remember building the gold paladins, he can remember the several fights he had with them, yet something felt odd, as emphasized by how he could not say Gold Paladin was his clan immediately.

"..Regardless, me and the gold paladins will continue improving together." he thought.
......"My Vanguard..."
"Huh, who said that?" he said as he started looking around.
"...Odd, I thought I heard something." he thinks, as he continues to browse through the cards and his deck.

After accepting Dalis' challenge, Ighanna fought and lost. With Silent Tom and Heal Triggers pushing the damage gap and Ighanna not seeing the sight of a heal trigger, it was hard to catch up. After that she noticed Miyuki and greeted her with surprise.

"Metatron, I'm sorry I lost" whispered Ighanna to her ace. Seems like Metatron doesn't have enough faith in her yet, she did have to ride Calamity before drawing Metatron.

"Oh long time no see Miyuki! How are you doing, we have quite the crowd today!" said Ighanna with a warm welcoming smile.

Hazama walks up to the Card Capital building again. "I wonder, who wants to be my first test victim," he says out loud. He walks through the door.

The manager just sits there and says, "Welcome," with an uneasy voice.

Oh yeah, forgot that people might be a bit frightened from a while ago as I haven't been back here sense. Do people still remember it? Whatever. He scans the crowd. Eh not many people as I expected. Hazama finds a table, sits down, and looks through his new deck.

The doors of Card Capital opened, and Kurai Tsukino walked into the shop. He was calm and collective compared to how he was during his fight in the underground. Despite that being two months ago.

Kurai walked over to the Manager. He greeted him with a smile, and Kurai moved towards one of the standing fight tables and waited for an opponent.  "Limit Break.... will this help me become stronger....No it must" he mumbled to himself.

With his deck prepared, Tsubasa turns around to scan the store for opponents.

"Hmm, who should I challenge first..?" he thought.

As he continues looking, his eyes spot, a person he had not seen for around two months now, Hazama Von Einsburn.

"...It's him, this may not be the epic cardfight that I imagined we would have the next time I see him, but..I wanna see how much he's improved since the last time we met." he thought, as he started walking towards Hazama's table.

"It's been a while Hazama.." he said, addressing Hazama. "I see that you've found a reason to come back."

"Right, let's Cardfight Thirst-san!" It's strange that the last time that they fought was so long ago and it was with completely different clans. Nonetheless, such a change could take an interesting turn. Hana had no reason to reject. It looked like Mi-hime was watching as well, better impress her with the power of Nociel!

And so the fight began.

"Noooooo!!! Dont guard with me !!!" Nociel yelled.
"I guard with Nociel and use her skill!"
"OW!!!!" Nociel was hit by Mage of Calamity, Tripp. "Stop thatt!!!!" Nociel started fake sobbing.
"I intercept with Nociel!"
"OW!"
"I guard with another Nociel from my hand!"
"OMG HANA I S2G."
"I use Nociel's skill to add Nociel to my hand, and I guard with Nociel!"
"HANAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The fight had ended with Hana as victorious, a powerful offensive formation using Thousand Ray, Million Ray, and Phoenix the Calamity Flame, a full field power up. On the defensive was Shamsiel's limit break on top of Nociel and Shamsiel's skill causing advantage through saving up cards in hand by increasing Shamsiel's power during the opponent's turn.

"Gold Paladin huh..." Hana thought to herself.
"Spectral Duke... he sure loves his giant dragons...." she then looked up and greeted him, "Naisu faito!"

While walking through the streets, Neo came across this building known as Card Capital. However he felt like something was off but he didnt know what it was. Neo walked inside and noticed all the Vanguard cards around the store. He asked the store manager if there were any new cards in stock and the manager showed them to Neo. Neo then took out his deck and thats when he realized it. Naru-kami. "This is my deck" he said but not sure of himself. So he decides to sit at a table in the corner being able to see who enters and exits and he noticed someone sitting at another table. That person.. (Hazama) Neo went through his deck and kept a close eye on him. Neo knew he couldnt be trusted.

"Never seen you before" he stated staring directly at the stranger.

Whilst watching Hana-chan's game, she also noticed that Iguanna was finished.

'I've been a little busy Iguanna, *ahem* I mean Ighanna, but good~. How are you?'

(AP +2 with Ighanna I guess)

Whilst chatting a little to Iguanna, she noticed Hana's game finish. 'Hmm has she always used Angel Feather?' she thought. 'Must be it, memory going now or something. How would I not know my best friends clan.'

Stretching a little, she decided she wanted in on the fun. Mainly addressing Iguanna, Hana and Haruka, she asked 'Anyone want to play a game?'

Ighanna soon realizes that she shouldn't be down after a small loss so she decides to move on along with Metatron. Miyuki-chan was free at the moment so Ighanna thought why not challenge her for a cardfight? Coincidentally Miyuki was also finding a Cardfight, great minds think alike hehe.

"Miyuki! If you're free I don't  mind a cardfight" asked Ighanna as she tries to occupy her spectating friend. After all Hana's game was done, perfect timing.

"So... much... defense..." Haruka was completely unable to force Hana to budge. It wasn't until the crucial Limit Break restand of Spectral Duke Dragon he managed to wear it down even a bit, leaving Hana's hand mostly empty. However it didn't seem to work out as well as he thought, considering he was lacking the trigger checks to power through the last 10k Guard. Hana even had an intercept on the side.

"Ahh, nice fight Hana!" Haruka felt relieved. They hadn't fought for a long time, when it was still Kagero vs Bermuda Triangle. The glory days, as Haruka tried to remember it. Except it wasn't exactly "glory" to be fair.

The days had flown by these last couple of months. People were growing, changing, and he wasn't sure where all the time had really gone other than the standard meet up, Cardfight, go out for the day, Cardfight some more, and sleep, rinse, repeat. "Huh.." Haruka leans back in a chair, as to watch who the next fight will be. Also, while noticing such a crushing defeat, he decides to search through his deck for changes. He wasn't able to make any superior calls, so he intends to fix with a few lineup changes.

"Gomenasai..." It looks like this wasn't the right time.

"I did not ask for your reasons, not what i'm interested in at the moment, all i'm interested to see is if you're up to my challenge." he said, with a sharp look in his eyes.

It's clear that Hazama wants to be left alone, so for now Tsubasa will give him what he wants, as soon as he shows that he is improving enough to fight his own battles. More to the point Tsubasa is interested to use the gold paladins after what feels like an eternity to him.

"What do you say are you up for a cardfight after so long Hazama?" he said, as he pointed his deck at him.

You're giving off an interesting vibe, like an intense flame. Tell me, where did you discover vanguard from...." At that moment Kurai realised, he forgot to ask the stranger's name.

Satoshi casually strutted in, wearing a bright tank top and a light vest jacket over it with some jeans and nice boots. Over the past two months, the triad had been doing relatively well in the shop alongside the Princess of Cray, Hana Espoir. Their experiences, while not necessarily a national level, had still pushed them into the upper echelon of fighters, and that had been pretty good, considering the circumstances prior.

He was currently staying with Haruka until he got real living arrangements worked out. The park bench from before, as much as he loved the outdoors, had started to take a toll on his back and his psyche, so having a nice living space was a relief.

He also got glasses. The square, lidded kind. That was a thing. They actually looked pretty good on him, considering he was supposed to be a physical laborer. He could've gotten contacts, but he actually liked having a new look for a change.

Satoshi noticed Haruka was looking through his deck in one part of the shot while Hana was chatting up some others. Actually, Card Capital was pretty busy today. Unusual. He adjusted his glasses a little and walked over to where Haruka was sitting, planting himself next to him.

"Mornin', Blazing Sun. Whatcha up to?"

But my parents disappeared when I was younger. Im on a mission to look for the answers of there disappearance. I will do anything to find my parents. Neo then started to sound serious, As you can tell Im one who doesnt trust many people. I fight my way through everything and im not one to run away from anything. So thats my story" Neo told Kurai. Neo started to get the impression this guy wanted to cardfight but he was still unsure about that.

It was a close game, with both sides not hitting many triggers. The tamers were shy to perfom, perhaps influenced a bit much by Miyuki, almost as if this were her first time using them. Iguanna on the other hand rode to grade 2, then superior rode Metatron whilst she was still at grade 1. Despite this disadvantage, a grind game began, with Hades Hypnotist being called on to put the steroid angels to sleep. Popcorn Boy helped out, raising morale in the circus.

In the end, glen and trapezist performed a final trick, winning the game for Miyuki.

'Thanks for the game Ighanna, maybe we can play again later?'

Hana watched Mi-hime fight against Iguana-chan. They were both so cool, such great performers. She put her head down while watching and was yawning, just relaxing to get a bit of rest. It looks like they are having a really close game. "It looks like Iguana-chan uses Angel Feather now too, that's cool." Hana mumbled to herself, "and Mi-hime looks so kawaii as Farah."

Haruka made notice of Satoshi coming in, despite how hectic Card Capital was today. "Hey there. Not much, just played Hana a bit ago. That didn't go so hot, sadly. But it was nice fighting her after such a long time. Now I'm catching up on a few fighters. Miyuki is a Pale Moon player, definitely an interesting mechanic seeing soul-superior calling. Also Angel Feather has shown some dominance. Really interesting stuff."

He motions for him to sit down, as he keeps searching through his deck for adjustments to make.

This day had gotten really busy, really fast. More people showing up by the minute.

Noticing that Hana was still relaxing, she moved over to her. Since she hadn't seen Hana in a bit, Miyuki decided to see how she was. She noticed that Hana looked and seemed slightly different, and was curious if anything big had happened. More than that, she just wanted to talk after being busy for so long.

'Hana-chan, how have you been? Sorry for being busy lately, I had to deal with some things. And how is Yukino? I haven't seen her in a while either.'

Satoshi sat, looking through his cards. Not much had changed about his Neo Nectars...but he had more criticals now! That was good! He still played with Glass Beads, Trailing Rose and Laurel, but those cards had served him rather well recently.

He watched Haruka fiddle with Spectral Duke. That deck was quite a challenge for him to fight and it always had been, despite him taking a few games. It felt weird to think that for some reason, but at the same time, it was the scarfed boy's avatar, and a strong one at that. He didn't really question himself over it.

"How's Yukino? Haven't heard from her since we last swept through here."

The Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion... Limit Break... Narukami... All of the above were the things Neo had on his mind. As his Hex Cannon Wyvern ended the cardfight against Kurai, his 6th damage wasnt a heal and the game was over. I felt the power of Vermillion as if I had this card all of my life, but I knew I didnt but I couldnt remember. Kurai is a good fighter. The Dark Irregular clan is a strong clan. But with my Narukami, nothing will stop me from getting the answers I seek. I took my cards off the table and put them back into my deckcase. Im off to find more answers, Thank you for the game" Neo said to Kurai. I then walked out of Card Capital and started walking when I took out the Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion card and started asking myself. Where did this card come from and what is a Limit Break exactly? Is there more to this?

'Yeah, it was quite a busy time for my family, and I had to help out a lotttt. And yeah, Yukino introduced me to her 'friends' a few months ago briefly.'

'Why Geodude and Thirst-kun though' she thought. 'O well, it's Hana, I should be used to this by now. I guess Darkyusha has changed to Thirst-kun.'

Putting her thoughts aside, she replied to Hana again. 'But yeah, I should be free a lot more often nowww, so we can meet up like usual when you want~'

Relieved that Hana seemed to be fine, she fully relaxed. Still, if they were Yukino's 'thirsty footstools' she should probably get to know them better. Yukino's change had been what spurred her on, and if these people are closely connected to her, they can't be bad people. Righttt?

"Hmm, oh Yukino? She's fine I guess. Things are mostly the same as they've been since she fought Jellal. Hmm..." Haruka thinks about it for a moment. They all hang out casually and often, but nothing particularly important has happened since that day at the beach. Memories of that day still mess with him a little.

The fight, the intensity of the fight. Despite her not actually taking victory, she won the battle she meant to win. Bringing Jellal back was a great deal to us. The only thing Haruka found himself thinking about was being the best for himself. With the way everyone was getting stronger and stronger, Haruka found himself not as powerful as he used to be. Without the Overlord, his power was not the same. He wasn't tearing apart opponents fields anymore, but now destroying and refilling his own, so Spectral Duke Dragon may stand back up. That was sort of Haruka's thing from the get-go anyways.

"She's good. I'd like to think so, anyways." Haruka smiles and nods. Despite being vague, he gives the most accurate of an answer he can really give.

Haruka felt sick. His stomach was sort of twisted in knots, and he wasn't all too sure why. He ended up disappearing out the front door, trying to get out without drawing too much attention. The only one he believed who could have seen was Satoshi, since he was sitting next to Haruka in the first place.

"So you still playing Dark Irregulars?" Tsubasa asked as we got our hands.
"I don't know," was Hazama's reply. The fight field was set and ready to roll.
"Stand up, the, Vanguard!" we both said in unison.
"Spring Breeze Messanger!" Tubasa said.
"Girl Who Crossed the Gap!" Hazama followed up. At this moment, Tsubasa's eyes widened.
"Hmm. No Dark Irregulars," he said a bit surprised.

The fight started with Hazama ignoring his statement. The fight lasted a while with no one really sacking as much as we used to. Soon it got to be Luquier vs. Ezel.

The final turn finally came. The damage was 5 to 4 in Tsubasa's favor. "Limit Break!" he called. "Superior call another Ezel which doubles my vanguards power."

Great. What a sack.

Tsubasa finished him of with his rearguard Lop Ear Shotter with Hazama checking Midnight Bunny.

"Good game, Hazama. Just don't bash other clans if you can't back it up," he said.
"Just be lucky you were test fodder. Though at the same time this shows a lot about your skill. You using Gold Paladins for almost as long as I can remember, and with this game being my first with Pale Moon and almost beating you says a lot."

Hazama gathers his belongings and walks out the door.

Vermillion Thunderbolt... a limit break capable of destroying an entire battle formation in a single strike. Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion stood tall over The Dark Lord of Abyss as Hex cannon delivered the finishing critical blow. Both damage checks, no heal trigger. The game was over and the victor was Neo. His opponent had already left after thanking him for the game.

Kurai looked at his deck, he had spread it across the table to edit it.

"Perhaps I should swap out this card for that one... no maybe this for that..." he continued to mumble to himself whilst editing his deck, returning back to his original personality in the process.

'Of course Hana-chan, I definetly have time to have a fite with you~'

And so the show began.

Hana took an early lead, scoring 2 early criticals, and leading by a whole 4 damage (5-1). Miyuki's avatar, Farah, however, managed to drag her back into game. With her Limit Break and persona blast helping out, she checked 2 Rainbow Magician's to break Hana's guard, and regain hand. The turn after she managed to stave off Shamsiel, and the game went on from there. A second chance was granted when she checked a heal trigger, as well as Farah, managing to survive the next turn thanks to that, and Persona Blasting yet again. Due to this, she managed to make a big enough number so that Hana couldn't guard, and she managed to win.

'Phew, that was such a close faito Hana-chan~ I thought I had lost right at the beginning!' Smiling after the enjoyable and suspensful show with Hana, she sat down again. Silently thanking Farah for the great performence, she stretched. 'Pale Moon really is great' she thought.

The renewed queen waltzed into Card Capital, looking for some answers hopefully. While noticing Hana and friends, Yukino almost instantly noticed there wasn't a single Royal Paladin on shelves. They weren't in stock at all... Shadow Paladins weren't around either, much less Kagero and Bermuda Triangle. Concern was written all over her face, as was the feeling of being lost. Some other fighters greeted her, stating that today would be the day they take down Garmore. Another little girl stated that they wanted to take Sleygal from her, since it was too cute to not be in their hands.

These people... all believed she only used Gold Paladin.

Yugure dismissed them with vague responses, not sure how to address this at the moment.

--Kota proceeded to start going through his new cards realizing why they were sold so cheaply--

"Ok...maybe I just had it built a bit off before. But it should work just fine now. Thanks for waiting, I'm ready now."

Tsubasa felt ecstatic using the Gold Paladins, it felt like an eternity since the last time he wielded them 2 months ago. He started looking around the card shop for another opponent. During his search he notices a cardfighter who uses a clan that he does not recognize, so he takes this chance to walk up and challenge her to a cardfight.

"Excuse me? would you be interested in a cardfight?" he asked, as he stood near the mysterious fighter. "..I wonder which clan she uses.."

"Yukino!" Satoshi waved at her from in the shop. She had just missed Haruka; he went to get ice cream and get outside for a bit. Meanwhile, the farmboy had been busy working through his deck, seeing exactly what formations would work best in a given situation.

"Over here!"

Turning attention to Satoshi, she heeded his word. Seeing him gave her heart some relief, he, Haruka, and Hana would probably have some clue about what's going on. All these people believing she used a deck that she only had gotten today... it made her extremely uncomfortable. Approaching him with a smile, the queen greeted: "Hello Satoshi. Looks like you're in good spirits, seeing you go through with more changes to your deck."

Ah yes, she remembered two months back about their sleepover. They were testing each other and their decks, offering advice to adjust and the like. ... Back with Royal Paladin. Ugh, she groaned quietly to herself. Dwindling on the fact that her original deck is gone was going to set the girl back miles. Shaking her head, Yugure focused on the now instead of the back then.

"Where's Haruka?"

"Haruka went to get some ice cream and some air. Card Capital's been pretty busy today, so I don't blame 'em." He sipped a soda he had bought from the clerk up front. "What brings you here, though, Snow Flower? More fights like we've been doin'?" He grinned. "Gotta be ready for nationals this time, y'know."

Kurai had lost once again, however this time it was against penguins that had attitude. The triple onslaught of the three school dominator's was too much for Kurai's Dark Irregulars and they fell before them. However, he was confused to how a person whom misplayed ability's of his cards could beat someone who had knowledge of what his cards were capable of.... well almost all of his cards, Reyji was an exception to that, due to its tricky ability to pull off his critical skill. giving him a deadly applause in the deck.

Anyway, Kurai knew that he would have to eventually get used to the card, after-all it was apart of his deck now and he was determined to master it. Kurai's crimson eye's died down;returning to their red state once more. His calm and collective mind returned from the assertive insane and aggressive domain of the other personality. He collected his cards up and looked up to face his opponent, the man of the strict schooling animals, Kota.

"Seems like you got yourself another challenger" Kurai implied whilst quickly glancing over at Shin'en, the boy he met 2 months ago at the train station. The very same one he held the door open for to allow him into the train. Walking over to a separate table, passing Kota in the process, whispering "Don't go easy on him" before sitting down at an empty table and began to watch Kota's next match unfold.

Nationals? Oh, right, a new tournament for the future. The queen supposed competition would be nice but after failing to get into the last one... she wasn't exactly willing to throw herself at messing up again. Sure, they taught her messing up isn't all that bad, but she couldn't help it. Keeping this tinge of fear concealed, Yugure's eyes wandered about the card shop. Satoshi was right about this place being incredibly busy today. Noting the expansion of a clan, along with three new clans, this was to be expected. Trial Decks sold like hotcakes, people threw all their money possible at boxes, and poor saps even scavenged bits of pocket change for packs.

This lit up her heart some, seeing such enthusiasm from new faces, aspiring youths, and known veterans.

"More fights... Hmm..." The queen contemplated, as she had never actually used Gold Paladin before, contrary to popular belief. Hell, she's yet to even have spoken to Ezel, much less Garmore who belonged to her European rival.

Maybe now was a good time to introduce herself personally. While Garmore knew her, Ezel was someone she only met indirectly as Exculpate.

"... More fights is probably for the best, yes", she replied distantly. "I don't have Royal Paladin on me though..."

"Who the what now?" Satoshi raised an eyebrow. Royal Paladin sounded vaguely familiar, but he was pretty sure the clan that both she and Haruka had been using for a while now was Gold Paladin, and had always been Gold Paladin. He shook his head. "I don't know about that clan. You should be fine with Gold Paladins though. You, Garmore and Ezel have always been quite the team!"

Meanwhile, Seph floated behind him, a frown on his face. He knew what was actually going on, but he had been instructed by Cray to not tell his champion; everything would unfold and the world would know in time. There were only a select few permitted at the time, and Satoshi was not one of them. With a light sigh, he receded. At some point, he'd have to try and talk to Yukino about Cray and breaking the limits and what the group could do, but now was not the time. Not while his champion was conscious, at least.

What? Yukino's eyes widened in shock, he didn't know what Royal Paladin was either? And what's this about Haruka using Gold Paladin too? That gravitational devilbeast in her dream... what did he do to Cray's historical figures? This surprise impacted her already nervous mentality quite a bit, as she expected Satoshi to know what was going on... She, Garmore, and Ezel had always been quite the team? How would he even respond now if she fought him and she didn't know what she was doing?

Yugure... let out a nervous giggle. "Aha... R-Right, sorry about that", she apologized for the confusion of mentioning Royal Paladin, trying to adjust to the truth of them disappearing. Loneliness started to rear its ugly head again, as she now began to believe no one knew about Cray's current situation with the lost heroes but her. Hana would probably know, seeing as she is Cray's Vanguard. But Haruka and Satoshi...

Looking off to the side, she bit her lip out of anxiety.

He couldn't take it. Seph appeared behind her, out of Satoshi's sight, and whispered:

"Hey. If you offer to him to stay the night at some point, I can talk to you about it. Stuff's been going nuts in the council, and I need someone to vent to, I can't keep my trap shut like this."

Oblivious to the offer, Satoshi grinned. "Speaking of, let's see if you've gotten even stronger since we last played a few days ago! I got crits this time!" He waved the four copies of Daniel.

Hana took up the offer.

She fought against the person who introduced himself as Tsubasa Hayato. She remembered seeing the name among those in the Vanguard Nationals and suddenly she remembered how she acted during that time when she fought, or at least how she remembered she did. With Bermuda Triangle, she overcame her on-stage fears by smiling and acting like they did, putting on a performance. She introduced herself to him as Hana Espoir out of common courtesy.

When the fight began something accidentally slipped out of her mouth, "Let's have a great performance!" Upon saying so she flipped over her standing Vanguard, and she could've sworn that she saw Bermuda Cadet, Wendell. In a blink of her eyes, the image disappeared, it was Hope Child, Turiel.

For the rest of the fight, she attempted to fight as if she had her same usual enthusiasm for some strange reason something felt off. For a brief moment she felt a dash of sadness come over her. She took her victory and told her opponent that she had to go feed her dog. She then left the shop, heading towards the park.

Shiki entered the Card Capital, makings his way to a table to sit by and read manga, but not all of his attention was on the manga itself, he actually focused on listening to all the things happening in the shop be it conversations or actual fights. The white-haired stalker and her sister were there, but he didn't pay much attenion to them, the girl wasn't actually stalking him right now so there wasn't any real point to call her out and call the police or somethin, and he hoped that in case of his life being in danger anyone someone would actually stop the beast from murdering him.

Kurai senses sharpened as he noticed two individuals entering the card shop, however he was more concerned about the one that asked him for a cardfight. He quickly summed up a brief plan in his mind to counteract this interaction. However, all the plan mean is that he would eventually have to answer the question of whether he wants a cardfight or not.

Kurai was still coming up with a way to figure Reyji into his deck at full capacity, but to no avail. he decided that he would try his best to incorporate him during his next fight; although, he did not expect a cardfight this quick from his previous one that happened several minutes ago. He let out a sigh and gave eye contact using his red eye's to the person. "You want to fight me? Suppose so, I did want a little rest but never mind that now, you better bring your A game."With this said, he placed his deck onto the table and set his starting vanguard face-down on the table's wooden top.

"What are you waiting for? Challenge accepted"

"Man I guess what goes around comes around in Vanguard, huh? One more turn and I would have had my Grade 3 on the field..."
--Kota suddenly pouted in thoughts of the person who was so rude as to just up and vanish--

"Man, that sure wasn't very nice. Just up and poofing after winning. But maybe they really did have something important to do. Then again, if it was really that important why would they be here in the first place? Either way, rude is rude."
--Sitting back in the chair, Kota decided to just wait at the fight table he was at rather than go walking around like he usually does--

"Wonder how Haruki's been doing lately? Kinda strange that I haven't seen them since before the shop tourney for the regionals/nationals thing went down. Maybe Haruki lost badly and just didn't wanna talk about it. Or maybe won the whole thing and went on to better things..? Still be nice to hear from them sometime."

Who was that voice? What council? The same council Hana and Alfred were in? Well, having Satoshi over wouldn't be a bad idea if it meant getting some info on the situation. He'd probably figure something's up if she just invited him out of nowhere though, best to ease into this. Giving him a smile, she was rather happy to see him finally get some Critical Triggers. 'W-what?' Miyuki woke up, disorientated. 'When did I fall asleep?' she thought. Hana had vanished, and in general there seemed to be less people around now. Peering outside the windows, she noticed that it was dark. 'Odd though, why did I fall asleep?'

Ignoring this question, she stood up and looked around the cardshop, trying to see if she still recognised anyone here, or if she should just leave.

Shiki put the manga way, looking his surroundings. The stalker, along with most if not everyone else was gone, probably because of the hour but he didn't seem to care as to where he ends up sleeping really. Now that she was gone, he could finally move around without being noticed and probably bashed to death. He got up and scretched after being stationary for so long and randomly started to walk around without a deeper reason. There was a girl sleeping on one of those tables, could itbe that Shiki wasn't the only one that just falls asleep in the most random of places at most random of moments? Well, he paid no real mind to it and continued walking around. Besides, he wasn't the type to start conversations anyways.

Honestly, as much praise as Satoshi gave, Yukino found herself feeling as if she made nothing but clumsy plays. A lack of card cycling like Lien made her feel a bit unsafe, not being able to filter into what she needed. No Violinist to give a massive lead through an easy rush, no five 10000 powered Grade 2s, not even a Soul Saver or a Majesty Lord. ... Most notably, no Blaster Blade or Blaster Dark to remove threats off the field. Starting without a Grade Three in hand made her feel even worse.

Riding Beaumains and calling Gareth, the lion roared before she continued her plays. Finally, Ezel and the queen met. Kryph's Superior Ride brought a warrior with power beyond Yukino's wildest dreams. This Incandescent Lion proved to be a worthy match to Alfred in terms of a passive skill, gaining power for every ally. Though, it was half of Alfred's, Ezel could be boosted! This was the most alarming phenomenon for Yugure. Never mind his immense power, a lion's roar that dished out the extra damage of a Critical without the golden warrior even touching Maiden of Trailing Rose. This new boss seemed easy to adjust to, seeing as he played like a much stronger King of Knights.

Then, she got four damage. A power born in a crisis akin to that of the miraculous blasters was activated: Limit Break. This actually boggled her mind, despite Satoshi saying she did it the other day. It was nothing more than two counterblasts to call off of the top of deck. But Ezel also got power for anything that heeded his call, and it was still awestriking, along with eardrum-destroying. Though, put in a bit of a bind by twin driving into Grade 3s when she needs more shield, which has always been a problem... They managed.

That didn't stop Ezel and Garmore from arguing with one another over it. It was pretty obvious to see that these two boys were going to be a problem.

Even so, looking at it, it was all the same. Superior Call, power of fellows, drawing out one another's strengths in tandem... These Gold Paladins were born of Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin, nothing changed except the color armor they wear. Ezel dealt the final blow, ending the game.

Yugure was smiling again, confusion pushed out of mind. She felt right at home.

"That was fun-", Yukino stopped at the announcement that Card Capital was closing for the night. "Oh... Satoshi, do you have somewhere to stay?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: Beryl on August 18, 2015, 11:39:04 PM
Satoshi leaned back a bit, arms behind his head. Limit Break truly was strong. He hoped at some point he would have such a power happen across him...

"A place to stay? Yeah, I've been stayin' with Haruka while I figure things out. I still don't have the kind of money to invest in my own apartment...ehe...even though you and your dad pay pretty well..." He sweatdropped. Living expenses were hard.

"Why do you ask?"

Hearing that Card Capital was going to be closing, she started to leave. As she was walking away, she noticed both Yukino and um 'Geodude' for lack of a better name. This person, part of the thirsty footstools seemed to be in deep discussion with Yukino, so she thought it better to leave them be.

'I guess I'll head over to the Park for some fresh air before going home' she thought.

"Come stay at my place for the night", Yukino offered. While this was what the voice told her to do, it's been months since she had friends over. ... Mostly because she only had two real friends. Well, there was Jellal too, but she hasn't seen him in awhile.

"Let's also find Haruka, I can drag him over too. He owes me ice cream anyway."
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: Beryl on August 19, 2015, 12:23:06 AM
"Stay at your place?..." Satoshi blushed a little. The last time that happened, he and Haruka almost got their heads caved in by Mr. Espoir. Though, the last time he saw him in person, the lion of a man was much more calm and reasonable than before. Maybe stuff had changed a bit, especially over the course of two months. He hadn't actually been to the Espoir Manor in a while; most of his work as a "footstool" was over at the gate, where some servants took it from there. Most of their practice had been at Card Capital or Haruka's place, which had enough accommodation for the three of them and nothing more.

He also hadn't talked to Hana in a while, so this would be a good time to maybe get to know her more, too. He smiled at the thought of it.

"Sure thing. Something tells me Haruka's sitting someplace with ice cream. Let's go grab 'em."

Seph whispered once more in Yukino's ear. "The plan is to hang out a bit, and then, when he's asleep...go to that guest room from before. We'll talk there. After all, it's got a pretty comfy couch..." He faded after that, prepping himself to speak that night.

They, the rest of the triad, had to understand why Satoshi and everyone else didn't know.

He shrugged, not really much happened in the Card Capital, or maybe he was too late for a large party or something, who knows? Eitherway, he couldn't stay inside the actual shop because he'd probably get kicked out so he decided to just walk out himself, completely forgetting the manga he had with him. God knows what kind of fate awaits this innocent white and black comic lying somewhere in a table left and forgotten.

He went to Card Capital for the first time in a couple of months to have great games with other fighters. When he started his training in justice, Haruki didn't have the time to visit CC, but now he was ready to have a good time as he returned to the shop.

Before the manager could get another word out I asked, " Do you know of anyone named..'Neu'?" the manager thought and said, " Yes, I have, she was in here a week ago and hasn't been back since then" I said to myself. After a strong and triggerless cardfight, it was all about skill towards the end. After using Ezel's LIMIT BREAK!! my opponent attacks with 20k and 2c, luckly I had a perfect guard in hand. Next turn I rode Spectual Duke Dragon, used his LIMITREAK!! and my opponent guarded. My opponent attack with daiyusha... i guarded....then another attack...guarded...but that last attack I couldn't guard...but I demanded a heal trigger....and there it was, a heal. Next turn I was sure my opponent didnt have a perfect guard I ATTACKED, ATTACKED, and ATTACKED..but with my final attack my opponent perfect guarded, and I knew that was the end.

After the cardfight it turns out that Haruki knew Neu...he said he would call Neu tomorow an have her meet me at the park , and soon my questions would be answered, very, very, soon.

Haruki had a fun fight against Shin'en, with Dimension Police against Gold Paladin. The young man of justice fought to share the fun of cardfighting with his friend. In the end, his Lady Justice dealt the final blow to Shin'en's vanguard. It was an awesome fight, but after, Shin'en asked about Haruki's friend Neu. He said that he wanted to meet her in the park, so being the good person that he was, Haruki said that he'd try to set something up for them. They shook hands for the great fight and Shin'en left the shop.

Haruki continued to have fun cardfights with the people of Card Capital for the rest of the day. Everyone was really happy when they were fighting him, and Manager even thanked him for having great fights with them all. At the end of the day, the young man of justice headed home, happy that he was able to use his justice to help others.

"I wonder what the next course of action is.." Hana sat down, with two empty seats to both her right and left.

She watched as two children entered the shop. The older led, the younger followed with wonder and excitement. They had reached the counter and the manager had noticed them. The older one was speaking in behalf of his sibling who was seemingly too excited to speak for himself. The manager reached for a pack of cards and handed it over the excited child, who then hugged his sibling upon contact with his brother's gift.

"Thank you niisan! You're the best."
"Heck yeah I am, but with that I'm scared you might be able to beat me!"
"Of course, you better watch out because I'll be as strong as you someday!"

Hana turned away and put her head down. "This is really pointless..." She felt like things had changed too abruptly. The very game that she entered for fun and to become closer to her sister has become nothing but a pain as of late. She threw away a normal life just to become underestimated and invisible. She was all alone and nothing but tool for others to use. She just yearned for love, to find something fill in the empty space in her heart that was once inhabited by her old friends.

"I really hate this... I hate Vanguard..."

She looked for another game among the tables, making the next one her 148th of the day. She had intended to buy herself some new cards, but then she realized that the decks that used couldn't actually get any new ones, so there was that. She's fought all kinds of people today, 148 kinds, and she's had lots of fun. Though, in most of her fights, she heard mention of The War of Liberation which got her feeling quite anxious as to how it would interfere with here goals. Myth or not, she should be ready to take action.

After a safe trip home, it was time to continue this newly found hobby, this time in the other card shop, the very first one he didn't visit in a long time and the place that introduced him to the cardgame. Upon opening the door, Shiki caught the attention of a few no-name people that will never exist outside of this sentence, some of them were wondering what that idiot did, others felt a bit concerned about his health given his nearly fully bandaged face, but Shiki didn't really care about it due to being used to it. After her 148th game, Neu walked around the shop and looked around for something of interest. After a bit of time in doing so, she noticed someone who was quite familiar. It was hard to recognize through the bandaged face whether it was the person whom she had met at Shop Handsome or not, but either way, she wanted to slap his face for some reason. As he was about to make his way to another fight, he heard a familiar voice of the only female that was actually nice to him for a change. With a smile on his face he turned to her, and waved back to her, "Oh, oh! Hello!" he answered, and too started to approach her.

"I went to some place with tall buff men to play the game but I suppose I offended them in one way or another since they punched me.." he answered while rubbing his cheek.

He then looked over at the man that approached the two and challenged them to a cardfight, he remembered about the rare clans Neu owns, the ones that he enjoyed seeign as they were something new and decided to stay silent, hoping that Neu would be the one to accept the challenge.

Noah places his 6th damage in his damage zone.

Noah smiles happily.

Noah: You're really strong, I'm rather impressed.
He says as he puts his deck away.

Noah: I'm sure fate will have us fight again some time.

Neu just got another win but was really confused. Another Aqua Force player.

"Uh. Ok." She then turned back to the bandage child.

She thought about the buff men first. What kind of place, and what kind of buff men? Perhaps the place would be of interest of her, buff men that play Vanguard sounds very delicious. She shook her head, realizing she was digressing from what she was originally supposed to be thinking about, this guy's well being. Sort of.

She rubbed his cheek, almost slapping his face during the journey that her hand traveled from its original position to his cheek.
"Awww.... it'll be alright man, need anything? I can buy you some medicine. I overdose on aspirin all the time."

It was quite the cardfight to watch, and as expected it was Neu that emerged victorious.. well, what else would he expect? He doesn't know the second person and he experienced Neu's ability in Vanguard first-hand. He nodded and smiled at Neu, congratulating her for the win.

When Neu touched his cheek he panicked and started visibly sweating. "It's okay! I'm used to this and I'm going to be fine!" he answered with his shaking voice. "I see you've decided to change your chocie of Shops.." he added quietly, he's never had this long ofa  conversation with a female and was really unsure how to go about this.

"So uh... do you just sit inside shops all alone?... To each their own I guess.."

She thought about his question a little. Really, she never changed her choice of shops. The last one that she went to was actually not her choice shop, more or less it was because she was very thirsty that day and needed some water, but that is also digressing yet again.

"Of course! Gotta... hm... go to all the Card Shops! Yeah!" She smiled at him. She sat down next to him, "So you been playing Vanguard with buff guys or something? You been enjoying the game?"

"Yep! I always go to these shops just to sit around and watch."

He wasn't really sure of the answer, he had no problem going outside and fighting others but he didn't feel all that good about doing it in Cardshops, for no reason at all really. He paused for a bit before answering her next question, he always viewed Vanguard as just a cardgame to kill time with and wasn't interested by it, bored rather. But now? He really did find it fun, giving Neu a nod. "Yes! I have great fun with this game, alot! And yes.. they were really tall and muscular, dressed in some street gang clothing.." He faced her, his eyes in a completely different direction.

He quickly tried to come up with a question to ask her back, he sat there doing nothing for a while and experienced a moment of revelation, the very first question that came to his mind for a while. "Your name, you aren't from here are you?"

Gang clothing, buff men, and Vanguard... Must be the slums, she should visit the guys there later since it's sorta been awhile.

"I see, I'm glad that you are. As for me, yes I'm from America. Hawks, freedom, guns and stuff." She giggled.

She leaned back on the chair and relaxed herself, there was something that kept bothering her about the events from last night, something that kept swaying her into an internal conflict between her ideals. It was strange.

"Have you ever bonded with you deck or anything? Weird question, I know they're just cards but, you know have you ever met anyone who talked to them or do you do that yourself or something?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: Nobody on August 27, 2015, 04:22:15 PM
Shiki nodded, acting as if he knew perfectly what exactly America is. Atleast he felt accomplished for figuring out Neu isn't originally from here, what a smart guy.

"They're just cards, but I did buy them with money.. I don't feel anything special to objects but.. I'd be sad if I lost them that's for sure.", Shiki answered instantly, upon hearing the second part of her question, his expression changed to a rather sad one for a moment, normally he'd shrug it off but hearing from a girl it was different, the only person he talked to more than once without having physical harm inflicted upon him basically called him crazy, in a way.
"Well.. yes, this one white-haired stalker talked to her cards as if they're real, she really must be crazy, hearing voices and speaking to cards like that. As for me? No, no. I'm most definetly not crazy at all!"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: Hope on August 27, 2015, 04:45:24 PM
White-haired stalker... Well, its obvious that people who talk to cards could really just be insane and in need of help. This guy was also probably insane and in need of help, but he just said that he wasn't. Neu didn't believe him a single bit. Though, the thoughts ran across her mind, thoughts over bonding with actual units from Cray, but it really just seemed so ridiculous.

She looked over to guy with the slappable face, "I see, well thanks for the talk, I gotta go and head out somewhere, so hope I can see you here again."

Neu stood up and made her way out of the shop.

Shiki nodded at her, waved goodbye and went back to watching other people play the cardgame, up untill the shop closed for the night after which he'd leave, wandering god knows where once again.

On my way to school, I decided to stop at Card Capital. As I walked in the manager greeted me.
Shin'en: Hi, do you have any 'Gold PAladin' cards?
      -manager looks around-
Manager: Naaaa, not any that you would want.
Shin'en: Oh, cause this deck needs improving.
Manger: Hmmm, let me take a look at it
Shin'en: Ive been losing a lot with it lately.
Manager: Hmm, this deck seems find to me... Maybe its not the deck thats the problem.
Shin'en: hm?
Manager: Its probably your playstyle...have you every tried any other clan?
SHin'en: No
Manager: Hm....*goes to the back of the building* Well here, *gives shin'en a deck* try it, you need to try other clans and their playstyle to know how to beat them. BUUTT, im giving you this deck for free, so your gonna have to give me your gold paladin deck til you are done using that deck.
Shin'en: ok, thanks -Shin'en leaves the building- hmm, Oracle Think Tank.

Ighanna enters the cardshop with a happy gleam on her face as the warm, embracing sunlight penetrates through the crystal clear window panes, reflecting off her tinted sunglasses. The brightly lit shop was surprisingly quiet today, probably because it was quite early so most of the younger customers are still occupied with school. Looking at glass cabinets was quite thrilling for her eyes as the elegantly arranged cards inside reflected the light with their foils, shining out spectrums on the background whilst bringing out the unit's true beauty. Some cards differed, especially those with higher price tags, as the foil did not totally emit spectrums but instead shone like constellations, revealing a unique pattern but not concealing the background artwork, there were many different textures to explore. She showed her appreciation, taking note of every single detail until she could remember the type of cards.

"So this is SP, this is Triple R, this is Double R" she mumbled as she sidestepped slowly across each cabinet like godzilla hanging on the edge of a skyscraper. What caught her attention was the 'Angel Feather' cards which she felt spiritually attracted to. Shamshiel, Armaros, Nociel, Turiel, she listed out the names of every interesting card and thought maybe her deck needs a change in order to combat what is currently going on at Cray. Without a second thought she reached out for her avatar card, Metatron and discussed the deep strategies and plans.

"Metatron, with Shamshiel isn't it just plain out better than Calamity Flame-san since she has an extra 'Limit Break' skill allowing her to function as a side boss in the Vanguard Circle by improving defense qualities with a hand swap and offensive qualities by powering the horses." Ighanna questioned/

"Well, Calamity Flame has the edge of being able to power-up even on the Rear-Guard Circle meanwhile Shamshiel only functions on the Vanguard and so she helps more when you have me, but then again it Shamshiel could serve as a defensive secondary ride and it also doesn't hinder the deck if you fail to ride me. Probably doesn't hurt to test it out though." Metatron replied intellectually.

"Now then with Shamshiel as the base, we should focus on more defensive aspects such as Armaros and Battle Cupid ,Nociel which allows us to increase hand size and quality. Furthermore the swapping compliments Armaros even better as they mitigate the cost due to Nociel and Shamshiel acting as a semi-damage unflipper." Ighanna suggested as Metatron nodded in agreement.

As Ighanna approached the checkout counter where the Manager resided organizing cards, her attention was caught by the clan 'Neo Nectar.' She saw it, her former ace, Maiden of Trailing Rose, shining brightly inside the glass cabinet but was let down by how she can't communicate to her former clan, 'this must probably be how Yukino, Jellal and Hana felt as they lost their clans' Ighanna thought despite never being able to contact Maiden of Trailing Rose. She was quite envious of Satoshi being able to materialize with Seph but then again, she felt relieved she still has Metatron by her side. However next to Trailing Rose was a brand new card, which appeared to be a knight rather than maidens, its name was "White Lily Musketeer, Cecilia" and under it was probably her comrades, as they all seem to have a 'knightly' figure and contained Musketeers in their name. With her resolve to treat both of her decks with equal love, she decided to improve her Neo Nectars and this card is perfect for the job and so she listed out their names and proceeded to hand it to the manager along with her list of Angel Feather cards.

Ighanna sighed as she sat down and spread her deck on a table, suited for cardfights. Normally it would usually be full as children would crowd for the table however because of how quiet it was, she thought it was the perfect place to deck build. After a while, she succeeded in building her decks and cleared up the mess while looking at her clock. "I guess I'd have to wait for someone to come in to test my decks with." She said as she brought out her notebook and wrote some song lyrics due to the boredom.

On my way home, I was excited to test my new OTT deck. I went straight to card capital and saw someone sitting there, she looked as if she were waiting for a cardfight. "Cardfight?" Ighanna heard as she turned around to see a boy nervously asking her for a cardfight. Despite the short and unclear offer, she somehow understood it quite well from the context, she was in a cardshop after all so 'cardfight' could only mean one thing. She then brought out her newly editted Angel Feather Deck in hopes of it succeeding as well as she thought it would be.

"Stand Up! Vanguard!

As I rode my grade 3, I drew 3 cards but that was nothing to my opponent who had already drew 2 draw triggers. I was barely holding on ,I was already at 4 damage and was relying on my triggers to win, but in the end I lost. Using Angel Feather skills the girl moved card from damage zone to hand. It was a stategy I had never seen before .

Shamshiel has proved to be quite effective, compensated by 6 draw triggers and hitting two of them, Ighanna wasn't so behind despite misriding for several turns. The ever-so-picky Silent Tom would normally be a huge problem if not for Nociel who was keeping Shamshiel at a 12k base power allowing the rest of the attacks to be guarded with ease. Overally despite not being able to summon her avatar, she felt that this deck is much more safer compared to her previous glass cannon build.

"Thanks for the game, whats your name again? Mine's Ighanna R. Colberg" Ighanna asked as she scooped her cards into a deck.

After finishing the introductions, Ighanna pardoned Shin'en and left the shops, feeling comfortable about her newly constructed deck.

After testing my OTT Deck for awhile I decided to buy it.

Walking into Card Capital, the manager greeted me and I told him I wanted to buy  the deck that he had gave me. The Manager looked surprised. He said," Remember I loaned you that deck so you can try other clans and their playstyle, you don't have to necessarily use them. I mean at least try your Gold paladin deck one more time. *gives Shin'en the deck* and...I made some changes to it as well." Shin'en takes the deck and looks through it and says, "Ok" He walks over to a table and waits for someone to cardfight him.

I was using my Vortimer Ride Chain, Every time I rode ,I retire and called 2 units from my deck.  With this I built my hand for guard, but it wasn’t enough to stop Haruki, in the end he won again. "Well here we are, Card Capital" Neo said to Seifer

"Its the main cardshop of the area and a shop alot of different fighters go to when they just learn Vanguard." Neo said

Although it was late, Neo found that Card Capital was still open. Which was good timing considering he wanted to show Seifer around.

"Alright so lets go" Neo said as he and Seifer entered Card Capital.

Haruki noticed someone familiar entered Card Capital that evening. He'd been practicing his cardfighting at the shop daily now since the world circuit was announced. Set to go to the first event, the young man of justice knew he had to train his skills before he fought on such a big stage. Now that Neo had come into the card shop, he thought it was time for a break and walked over to greet the two.

"Hey Neo. Who's the new fighter?" He gave a friendly smile and waved hello as he came over.

As Neo lead the way, Seifer stared around the city in stereotypical tourist fashion, stopping as soon as they made it to Card Capital. The sign seemed... elaborate of sorts. But Seifer didn't complain, happily walking inside and looking around, his eyes having to adjust slightly to the change in light. "It's nice... Quaint. And very welcoming." Seifer smiled, before tilting his head at the new person who addressed Neo. Giving a casual wave, more just to say hello, the brunette male gave a light smile in return. "My name's Seifer. I'm kinda new around here, so Neo was just showing me around."

"I am, though while I'm not very confident in how I'll do I'm going just for fun. Hopefully to meet new people." Seifer scratched the back of his head, a growing habit, before taking a good look around the full interior of the shop, taking in everything. Especially the cards in displays. Hikaru had finally arrived at Card Capital. He began to think of his options. The past few days have shown him that the succession of a ride chain may not always work and believes by branching off into other clans will help him grow as a fighter help prepare him for the next stage of the world circuit. He knows he isn't ready yet and staying in the slums won't do him any good. He walked over to the cards that were lined up in a orderly fashioned. Categorized by their grade, clan, nation and rarity. His eyes seemed to be glued to the Star Gate section as he barely looked at the clans of the other nation. Something then got his eye.

"Phantom Invader....Cosmo Lord?." He intensely stare at a gigantic life form sprouting blue lightning on its card art. was on the RRR section of the nova grappler clan.

"So it seems you found a good card my boy?" Said by the manager who was looking over Hikaru's shoulder. Startled by the manager's actions, Hikaru jump back a bit with a horrid face. "You...can say that." Still a bit freaked out from his surprise attack and began to calm down seeing how ridiculous it is.

"Hmm...the upgraded Cosmo Lord. Ahh a good card for any aspiring Nova Grappler player this time around, But you don't seem to be like the typical Nova Grappler player. Tell me my boy why do you desire the Cosmo Lord?" Hikaru then looked at the life form and turned to the man again.

"It's because I want to find myself. The past few days have been confusing, I don't know what i'm doing in my life. Maybe starting with a new clan can help me find myself." He had been giving this a thought for the pass few days and he knew he was ready, he knows it will be difficult but it's nothing he can't handle. The Manager had a though for a bit then he let out a small sincere smile.

"Alright i'm satisfied with your answer. I have two copies in the store at the moment, while you'll have to find the rest the cards yourself." With a nod Hikaru and the manager went to the counter for Hikaru to purchase the two copies of Cosmo Lord. He held the two cards in admiration as he thought to himself on how he'll get better here on out.

"Do not fret young one, we will guide you ...."An unknown voice echoed in his head. Hikaru snapped his head around trying to look for the source of the voice.

"Arigatou minna!"

Isabella waved at the fighters as they exited, some still wanting to stay in order to spend time with her, but the workers needed to close up the shop. She was invited to help promote a special event today which ended up being a huge success. With Isabella's contributions as both an idol and a fighter, the future of Vanguard idols looked bright. She had been fighting the whole day with her many fans, even introducing many newcomers to the game. The reminded her of herself, a bit more than a year ago when she had just learned from her sister.

"Time sure flies by..." She held her deck in her hand.

Her long navy blue hair fluttered under white straw hat. She now stood tall, at least, was much taller than she was a year ago, in both a metaphorical and literal sense. Her body was curvier as a result of the physical fitness required of an idol as well her natural growth over the past year. She would walk through the streets and all the guys would fall for her, which she really wasn't used to nor too interested it. Nonetheless she would wave at them with a smile as if it was part of her job. An idol's work is 24/7. The manager of the shop thanked her and the workers bowed after they had finished closing up the shop. Isabella gave them a mutual sign of gratitude with her own curtsy and thanks as she headed out into the shopping district.

Back at the Park-

Shiki didn't... he didn't even notice Haruka's near heart attack off by the bench. He was completely oblivious to his new friend dying, yet, this didn't particularly bother Haruka. In fact, he was sort of glad as it might have worried the guy and Haruka was already trying to relieve as much pressure as possible. That kind of thing wasn't exactly something he wanted.

In the end, Haruka left the park with his goal in mind, getting to know Shiki. Cardfighting him was a definite plus. Something felt good about fighting for the enjoyment of the game, not just getting angry over losing or gloating when you win.

Shiki +1 AP

Now Haruka is at the place where that exact thing tended to happen. Card Capital.

Here he had found himself playing Cardfight more than anywhere except for maybe the park where has had some of his most enjoyable ones, notably the ones with Shiki and Miyuki. Speaking of, where is Miyuki these days? Haruka hasn't seen her since before the New York trip itself. Strange.

Picking his favorite seat in the back left corner of the room, Haruka seats himself at his fight table with a cup of coffee and a new sort of confidence in him. Fighting was definitely going to be fun today, forced or not. He was not going to let his opponent leave unsatisfied with the fight, or they would simply have to fight again. That was the idea again, chances are they would just leave angrily but that sort of flew over Haruka's head.

Satoshi stepped in, unbuttoning his long overcoat because it was warmer in the shop than he was expecting. His main plan for the day was to fight some random people and see if what he spent most of his time learning while he was away paid off at all.

He had learned a new way of Vanguard, since his Vanguard of Companionship lost out at New York. It was a bit more unusual, because it focused on manipulating something he had grown to respect, his "devil's luck." It was a Vanguard of Fateweaving, something much different than he was used to. While he could still play the clan with allies flanking either side of the Vanguard, he instead sought to turn the tide in his favor by using Fortuna's Wheel of Destiny to change the fate of his drive checks. This used a lot of power, and for some odd reason was a bit draining to the farmboy's spirit, but nevertheless served him fairly well in practice. In order to protect Cray and his friends, he had to prevent his own failure to do so, and this would help him accomplish that goal.

Admittedly, it was a bit selfish, because people were capable of taking care of themselves, and he knew this, but it was still essential that he could do at least something to keep his psyche in check...and perhaps even that voice that haunted him.

He noticed Haruka was in the corner, and a part of him wanted to reach out and talk to his Triad partner, but another reminded him that technically, the Triad was on break, because their contact had been limited on purpose by him in the first place. Furthermore, he would rather that Yukino and Haruka had both been there together to interact with. Any time he tried to talk to one or the other one-on-one, there were more pressing things for them to do to begin with. Having them together would be like old times, not that he really wanted to think of Neo Nectar at the moment.

Satoshi instead sat at a different table in front of some other players and proceeded to play some games with them.

Alexander yawned as he walked in with a large cup of coffee, a look of exhaustion resting on him from the work to move all the way to Rijuku. Not to forget that having to work with the burly men to carry all the things, having become a spirit brother of sorts with the workers after having undergone the trials they had, a pact to meet again and take things out of trucks and into trucks having been silently made. Soul brothers for life.

The young man scanned the place as it seemed to be chock full in both cards and fighters, a vibe of happiness and competition intermingling, tiny hopes gathering together. He smiled, it was a good sight, though a better one soon followed. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a familiar silhouette, catching their appearance as his features brightened more. Hastily he walked there, happy to see a known face right after coming back to Rijuku, especially being able to surprise them with his visit.

He would yell out a"Heya, Harooooka-saaaan!"  Loud enough to catch the attention of the others nearby as he approached the table, placing his coffee down as he continued speaking. "Long time no see huh?" Waiting to see his reaction, and hoping he'd figure out who he was.

Haruka looks up after flipping through a few copies of Blast Bark Dragon. Something about his new units seemed awfully strange. They weren't like Overlord in personality, but they held this sort of entitlement. Like a foster family, all sort of banded together for different reasons, but a family all the same. It was comforting to know Haruka was apart of that establishment.

Suddenly, another aroma of coffee conflicted with his own. Looking up he heard his name called, as the man who called it, Alexander, showed up out of the blue. Haruka had a large grin on his face as he put his deck down and called back out.

"Alexander, it's good to see you again! What are you doing here iin Rijuku though?" Haruka was more happy than anything an old friend of his had shown up, but it was still somewhat odd knowing he is now in the same area as, well, almost everyone else that participated in that New York stage tournament. Alex might have more friends than he bargained for soon.

"Nevermind that. You're fighting me, now. I wanna see what your deck does." Haruka already had his placed and ready, and he wasn't about to let Alex dip out on a fight today. No no no. He wanted this fight more than the coffee on the table, and that was saying something.

Shin'en walked into the crowded Card Capital. He had grown so much stronger the past year, especially with the help of his Revengers. He hadn’t seen any sign of this 'Link Joker' but he has always kept his eyeopen.
As he walked in, the manager greeted him. Shin’en went to go find an empty table, and waited for someone to card fight him. While he waited he looked through his deck, “Nothing new”. Shin’en had long waited for Blaster Dark to return to the United Sanctuary. It has been a year since he had left to find the Purple Knight, Mordred, and they have yet to come back. Shin’en never gave up he knew Blaster Dark would be back soon… he could feel it. All he could do is train and wait for their return. While waiting for an  opponent , he couldn't help noticing the cardfight next to him.

"My mom moved here and I came with here, a pretty good turn of events huh? Wanted to surprise you and all too, guess it worked out well. No way I wouldn't find you in a card shop heh." Speaking joyfully, though then nodding to Harukas challenge.

"Alright then, get ready to see what me and this clan can do!" Alexander taking a seat and whipping his deck case out, taking out the dimensional robos held inside and placing his starter before shuffling his deck.

"Now if I think about it, you haven't seen me with these guys. Guess it'll be interesting." A small smirk placed on his lips, confidence brimming from him with excitement in tow. He was more than ready for this reunion fight, he even was going to issue the challenge if Haruka didn't do it first.

That was quite the experience for Haruka.. Mostly due to an intense drive check lacking. He has this intense luck swing every other fight, one day getting drive triggers and sacking consistently, then there are days like today... Where he drive checks a total of 3 triggers, one of which was an unusable heal and a critical with no target.

He was thoroughly disappointed at first at the outcome of the fight, being totally swamped under the Daikaiser Breakride and Great Daiyusha's consistent critical hitting. It was painful to say the very least. Alex even hit twice with Laurel... twice. The fight was more than one-sided, Alexander might as well have been playing against an opponent who couldn't draw cards.

In the end Haruka learned a lesson from that fight-

Don't fight Alex.

"Thanks for the fight. Now I know where to proceed with this deck..." Haruka wasn't particularly upset anymore after a brief feeling of defeat. The whole point was for both fighter's to feel successful in that fight, and Haruka still managed to force a perfect guard on Breakride turn, causing him a near win. Actually, he would've won with some basic game knowledge. Haruka was unsure of how criticals in Vanguard worked... not realizing that units always already had a critical to begin with, so when Haruka drive checked a critical trigger, he didn't know it would trigger Blast Bark's second skill, and gave the power to the rear guard on a two pass that he would've actually won on.

Alexander AP+2

Haruka, needless to say, got a lecturing from Sera. Haruka's headache from hearing a voice not outside of his head was so splitting he literally got out of seat, said "Seeya' later Alex," after the fight, and left. He needed to be anywhere that would drown out the noise of Sera giving him an inner beating through words. He was holding his head in slight agony, wanting to cry almost. Sera was brutal. No mercy. Haruka was headed for the shopping district, it was louder there. Maybe the sound of people that weren't in his head would be nice.

Sky walked in, Today was one of the few days off he gets from working in the park, and he was finally going to make it worthwhile. He walked up to the clerk and asked "Excuse me do you sell champions of the cosmos?" Sky's eyes lit up as he saw all the different blau cards he had acquired from the booster set.  He did not even care that he did not manage to acquire Stern's next stage. This would truly revamp his Blaukluger deck. He hurried and made the changes and turned to see if any of the fighters in the card shop would help him test. "Does anyone want to see how we Americans play vanguard?!" he screamed, to excited to care how ridiculous he probably sounded.

He had saw the guy when he first walked in to buy cards from the Extra Booster, and thought he recognized him but let it alone. The guy seemed pretty strong and was using Shadow Paladin, really wanting to test his deck Sky walked up to the man and said "Hey I'm not sure but I think I saw you in New York at the Starbucks in Central Park?" "Even if it wasn't you you seem pretty good; How about a fight?" Sky said with a smile.

Card Capital

A year has passed since he had last stepped into this place. With the turf war going on and getting his new cards from his opponents and other near by shops he honestly didn't see the point of coming back here. Last time he was here was when he first met Cosmo lord. This pain, is this what others felt when they lost their Avatars in last year's memory wipe?  He doesn't know and he doesn't want to know what others felt. he proceeds inside the store. He walked over to glassed shelf and began staring at the glassed shelf that he had obtained Cosmo Lord. Oh what a bittersweet feeling.

After class,he had left the school and headed to card capital.

He walked through the doors and sat down at the nearest table he could find. Amon took out the book he had taken from his desk in the English classroom. The book was still Dracula. He sat down, continuing to read the book, in the atmosphere of the card shop.

The Card Capital burst open as men from the Bluebloods came in with wooden rapiers, crow bars and shock gloves as they surrounded the manager of the capital.

"Alright listen up, this area is now under the Bluebloods you hear! Now get in line and place your decks and money on this table here." As he tapped on the designated table. "Try anything funny and you'll regret it. Shinji, lock the doors and close the blinds we don't need anymore witnesses." The children began to cling onto an older person out of fear. Then some of them moved forward and gave their decks and the cash they have on them for their own safety.

Smacking the crowbar onto the floor impatiently. "Well hurry up and get to it!." Yelling to the rest of them with his threatening glare with some of the children crying.

"You threaten the innocence due to your frustration, how weak willed of you."  Amon stated boldly for all to hear. He closed his book and stood up. "You even use a weapon because you are so pathetic, it's the only way you can intimidate people. You're as threatening as the Underground King! and last I remember, I put him in the hospital.... now.... Walk away before you meet the same fate" Amon threatened the invaders, with the intention of fighting them if necessary. He gave a devilish glare and stood his ground.

"Underground King? You mean that prissy Hikaru?" The Blueblood commander then began to laugh at the platinum haired's declaration of mentioning Hikaru to him.

"That guy is a joke! He left his own faction to fend for themselves to go to the circuit and he lost in the first round! And us being pathetic!? Please this is the real world we don't just use cards to get what we want, were pirate themed for a reason!" He then grabbed the nearest child near him as he held him to his chest. "Like I said before, try anything and i'll hurt this kid badly."

Amon was disappointed at their actions.

"Look at your men... now back to me..." Amon walked a few steps forward. The Blueblood captain warned him not to come any closer. He decided to do the one thing he wouldn't regret. "Now look at your men again..." Amon flew forward, jumping the table, sending his fist towards the captain's face. Swiftly, diverting his momentum, moving behind him and having his fist strike the location of his head from behind.

Amon looked up and gave a smile to the captain. "You shouldn't have did that..." Amon grabbed the arm of the Blueblood captain which punched him, straightened it out fully, then delivered a hard knee to the socket joint, shattering his bones in his arm.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: Spectre Diamond on September 19, 2015, 10:56:57 AM
"AHHHH!" He clutched his arm as he felt the bones breaking from the inside out. Falling into his knees as he felt the excruciating pain emitting from his arm. The other Bluebloods began to circle around Amon. One child even screamed at the horrible sight before her. The door burst open as a cold dreaded aura filled the atmosphere. Hikaru walked into the store in his school uniform having gone straight to the underground then to here as fast as he could. The dark vigilantes began to handle the rest of the Bluebloods as punches, kicks and wooden weapons were sent flying. Thankfully the dark vigilantes had brought the fight outside and one of them began to return the decks of the hostages.

Hikaru then walked over to the leading Blueblood and grabbed his collar and looked at him with a menacing glare. Not caring that he was crying in pain. "Now you despicable scum tell me where your base of operations are or i'll break your other arm." As he said threatening.

Amon laughed at the crying thug. Suddenly the underground king and his goon's burst in, taking out the other Blue bloods.  Amon watched the King threaten the guy whom arm he broke to reveal the location of their base. Amon decided to intervene. "Hey, ass-hole... could have took them all on by myself. Compared to my daily training, these punks are nothing... besides, I planned on breaking his other arm regardless". Amon casually jested towards the Underground King.

Not bothering to look at the teenager who commented as he concentrated on the thug. "Well talk, I don't want to make this an unpleasant experience for the both of us." He then grabbed the Blueblood commander's arm and began to crush it. The Blueblood commander then bit his tongue to prevent himself from spilling the beans of the location of the Blueblood stronghold. Refusing to give himself up as his lips began to bleed.

"Yes, choke in your own blood, suffer for an unworthy cause." The man still refused to let go off any information as Hikaru then broke the Blueblood's other arm as the small screams increased in volume as tears leaked out.  "Won't talk uh...take him away bring him to a secluded area of the slums" Two of the Dark Vigilantes then picked up the blueblood and brought him outside. The crowd was looking at him in fear, in awe and shock. He then sighed as he looked at them.

"Its best that you all go home and try to forget about today's trust me. I don't want to have to remember today's event either." The crowd began to leave one by one as some gave their thanks. Then he looked at the platinum haired boy.

"Now as for you...Where..IS...Cosmo...Lord."

Khudus was inside the store. He had skipped on the card club meeting. He was interested in it especially if few strong or interesting fighters but felt now would be good time to set out the deck instead of searching for fighters. Even if he found a few there was nothing he could do.

He had found few cards to go with his deck but was still missing a majority of his deck. He decided to try his luck and bought two boxes. One for set 6 and the other for set 10. He took hem over to an empty table searching through them to find hopefully units that he needs.

Noel walked in to the store and instantly started going through the Royal Paladin section of cards in hopes of finding something. Her deck, her heart, felt empty. She hoped that maybe she might find some Jewel Knight units but since they are still a new sub clan, they are rare to find. Noel never noticed Khudus was in the shop as well due to her mind set on finding something. Her fight against Seifer and now against Sky made her realize that she has a very long way to go. All she wanted now is to catch up to Seifer, be his equal in terms of skill. She feels that if she can accomplish that, then she will be able to find her identity.

"Now way! I found some!" Noel said in excitement. She found some Jewel Knights, they were Pathetic Jewel Knight, Olwen, Jewel Knigh, Melme, and Dreaming Jewel Knight, Tiffany. Those units were new to her and were probably just released. No one had bought them yet so she took the four copies of each to make sure she has some in case that accident happens again. It may not be a lot, or even the ones I had but it sure is a start! Noel thought to herself as she went to the counter and paid for the cards

While Khudus was searching through the packs he bought he noticed Noel come in. He thought he let her do her own thing for a while. When he heard her screamin. In delight he smiled. As he looked at the last of the cards he looked at it integrated in it. He saw Noel go up to the till to pay for the cards so he quickly packed up and then went up to her.

Get some good cards? How about I make your day even better. Here.

He held out a card. He held it back upwards. He did this so he could surprise her with Salome.

Wandering through the streets of the shopping district, it may have taken a little time since neither knew where they were going, but eventually Rosalia and her new friend Darren found what seemed to be a card shop. Well, it was named Card Capital, which was probably a good hint... "This.. looks about right... Looks like the best place around for Cardfight, anyways..." She opened the door and glanced around, her first time being in a card shop since she moved to Rijuku. It reminded her of the old shop from before the move, the first time she entered it with Seifer teaching her the game... A lot has changed since then... But, its a good change...

Darren walked in behind her. The sights of the shopping district caused him to get distracted, but not enough to lose his way. When he looked forward to see all of the cards and fighters. "Oh wow... so many..." he said as he looked at the displays. He saw a particular unit, a special unit not available in normal packs. "Super Dimensional Robo, Goegal" was its name.

Someone noticed him looking at it, giving him a closer look while watching him. Its effect seemed perfect. Darren wanted this unit, but he didn't have enough money for many copies of it. "I think I found what I want," he said to Rosalia, declaring what he would be getting.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: RosaliaIzanami on September 21, 2015, 09:54:25 PM
Rosalia watched Darren look around the shop, wondering what it is exactly he was looking for. The past he lost? Or a new card to take a step towards the future? She would obviously go for the later, but sometimes you need that physical memory in your hands to feel complete. Just thinking about it, she could never lose her Luquier. At Darren's declaration, the redhead walked over and looked at the card, tilting her head. "Super Dimensional Robo.. Goegal? Your robots have weird names..." she mused, giggling softly.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital

Darren couldn't help but laugh at her comment, a small chuckle that went with her giggle. He turned and said, "Its like my Enigman unit but... the next level. Enigmans were the deck I learned Vanguard with, but my Avatar is something different. I've tried to make them work together but it isn't working. But this feels like it would put both together into one."

He counted his money, enough for two copies of the unit. Buying singles over buying packs, it was odd but it was also all he needed. He placed the money on the counter and moved into his backpack. He took out a second deck box which was black and red as opposed to his black and white one that had the deck he used against Rosalia before. "With a bit of editing... maybe I'll have something that can work."

"Mhm~ If something doesn't work, try and try again. Different combinations make different flavors in cooking, even if using the same ingredients," Rosalia grinned, then thought at the mention of food. Maybe she could head home early to cook something for dinner instead of going out to eat... or bake. She still swore that she would bring cookies at some point, so with the camping trip coming up, maybe she could bring them as a treat for the Cardfight Club. That's a lot of cookies though... Oh well. Watching Darren again as he messed with his deck, the redhead pointed at the new deck box. "Is that a completely different deck? What's that one like?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Card Capital
Post by: Golden Sage NovaRaizer on September 21, 2015, 10:10:30 PM
Darren turned to her from her metaphor. He blinked once and said, "So you like to cook? Remind me to call you if I run out of grocery money." He was half joking, but at the same time he was practically living alone with his schedule conflicting so much with his aunt, so he hadn't had a home cooked meal since he arrived in this town.

When she asked about the deck, he nodded lightly, "Yeah," he said to her lightly. "I've only used it once and it is stronger... but something about it felt like I shouldn't be using it. I figured I wasn't ready to use it... but now I know that without it I can't really do much against fighters like you. Since there seem to be a lot around here, I can't really afford to hold back, now can I?"

Rosalia scratched her cheek at the joke, not exactly sure how to answer. Other than her parents, and unless it was a desert item, the only other person she cooked for was Seifer. At least he answered her question about the deck, the female watching him mess with his cards curiously. "So.. Well, I'm still sorta learning. I've only played for about a year, compared to everyone else I know who's played for twelve times longer than I have... B-but I'm glad you think I'm good at fighting~ I've been trying harder lately to catch up with everyone in the club... They've been through a lot more than anyone else, and I want to feel like I can compete on the same level as them..."

Darren was surprised at her response. He looked down at his units, then back to her before he said, "I guess we've got that in common. You're the same as me, trying to keep up with everyone else. That means we can help one another out, doesn't it?" He smiled as he put the finishing touches onto his deck, setting it down as he felt like he had something that would work for him. "That's the last unit... This should be a good deck for me now..."

Being on full volume, the redhead jumped before fumbling with her bag, trying to get the techno-violin mixed tune to stop playing. Finally in silence, she was able to see it was a text... from none other than Seifer. "Oh!... Meet up with him at the place we ate last night... The seafood place~ Sorry Darren, I gotta go. See you in the club sometime, and don't forget about the camping trip!" With a wave, the female was off running.

Her phone then vibrated from another reply from her brother.
"Oh wow so it was recent, lol. At least I was able to tell something was going on, lol. But hmmm, you had something similar too huh? Strange, mine feels more like an internal struggle of some sort. Darren wondered who she got the text from. Was it the roommate she mentioned before? Maybe he would get to meet her sometime. He looked at his deck, placing it in the white and black deckbox as it was the one he used the most. All of the extras went in the black and red deck box so he wouldn't make a mess. He waved Rosalia off even though it was belated before he stood up, wondering how he should test his deck, or if he could today at all.

That was when Noel appeared. He gave a small grin and said, "Yes and no. Actually, I was working on a new deck. I was thinking of a way to test it out."

"Oh cool, new decks are always fun to test out. Unfortunately it seems the store is closing for the night and we have school tomorrow meaning we need to do our homework sometime tonight. There is some time left before we have to leave so what did you end up getting?"

She then got her phone and did a goodbye reply to Seifer

Suddenly, Darren felt lucky that he got to the shop when he did. Any later and he might have had to wait a day before making his deck. Upon hearing her question, Darren sighed and said, "You have a point about the homework... Even though I wish you didn't. But my deck is something similar to what I had at the Train Station that day. Though I have made a few changes that fit me better. Fighting Rose today made me realize I can't push that kind of strength aside, but some of the units didn't suit me well."

I managed to revive my Jewel Knights even if it's just a small percentage of what they once were. I even got a Salome from a friend that was here also when I came in. We could probably have a test fight tomorrow at the club room if you want so we can test decks. Anyway, I gotta go back to my hotel room. You should plan to get home too and do your homework. Later!" After Noel left the school, she immediately came to the card shop because she felt like something was here that she could probably use for her deck. Maybe some of the grade two's or grade one's from her original deck could be available now that the release of Jewel Knights have been released for a bit, maybe the store would have some more in stock. So she goes to the usual Royal Paladin shelves and begins to search. As Noel searches, she just can't help but remember that dream. It felt very real, the fear was real. Everything about it felt real. She doesn't know what it all means, or if it even means anything at all.

Aright, I found some more of the cards I used to have! Just a little more and the deck will be like it used to be...

She managed to find a set of Fellowship Jewel Knight, Tracie and her grade one sister: Stinging Jewel Knight, Sherry and a single copy of Fearless Jewel Knight, Julia. Somehow these were easy to find this time around. She didn't care because it was a step towards her old deck. Not really an upgrade, more like a system restore of her deck was taking place. "It's better than nothing I guess..." Noel whispered to herself and went up to the counter and payed for the cards. She then went to a table and began doing a quick edit to her deck. She then grabbed her phone and added Darren's number that was left in a note beside her back at the nurse's office and then started to message her brother.

"Hey... I hope you aren't worried. I'm feeling better now but I had that dream again... this one was really scary! I woke up screaming NO!! without me realizing it and stuff!"

After the events at the Cardfight Club, Darren went to Card Capital in the hopes that he could use his deck some more, or at least see what others in the area were doing with their decks. He had saw so many different fighting styles so far, so many things that surprised him. He needed to know a lot more if he didn't want to fall behind.

After a short time, Darren saw Noel enter the cardshop. When she went to a table, he went up to her. He was still worried about what had happened before. "Hey there," he said to her as he sat down. "Are you feeling alright? It was a little scary seeing you pass out like that."

Just then Sky walked in it had been a very busy day so he couldn't advise the club today, so Sky decided to unwind by watching some fights at card capital.

'As long as you're okay. ...I'm going to talk to one of my friends asap because now the dreams are starting to worry me a bit. You be safe alright and if you start feeling dizzy again or anything contact me immediately or try to get to my house ok?'

Darren sat on the other side of the table where she sat and she realized he never saw her pass out like that before. "Oh hey, yeah I'm feeling better. Sadly like if I never fainted at all. I don't know why I faint after a fierce fight. And that really frustrates me." She said starting to feel irritated at the fact that what she said is true. "Before you ask, I'm just here looking for more Jewel Knight cards. At least the ones I owned that were ruined. I managed to find a few more but it's still a while for my deck to be how it was when I first arrived here. Now what brings you here? Noel also replied back while putting her deck away and then her phone vibrated.

"Yeah please do that, it's starting to freak me out because everything about the dream felt so real. I'm not even joking about that. I know I know, as for feeling dizzy, yeah ok, lol. I don't even have time to realize that I'm about to pass out, xD"

'Fair enough. I'm just over worrying I guess. Just be careful okay? If it gets to bad should I get a doctor or something?'

He felt sad to hear that this really was a common problem. The frustration in her face was fairly clear. Not wanting to press the subject any further and make her feel worse about it, he went onto what she said about why she was there. "I remember your first Jewel Knight deck was pretty incredible. Its a shame they got ruined. If I could, I'd help you get more but its probably easier said than done." He noticed she was looking at her phone and texting, wondering who could be texting her. "As for me, I just came here to see how everyone around here fights. Rose surprised me with how much power her units can get in a turn and with being able to do so many battles in a turn. Hana did the same today when I fought her but I felt more like I had a chance there. At least I know my deck is working." He gave a small laugh as the thought of it did make him happy, knowing this deck felt better than the one before it.

"Up to you since I never seen an unconscious person call an ambulance before lol"

Noel then put her phone down and got up with all her things since its getting late and she wants to study up as well as rest. It's been a long day afterall. "Yeah, I miss that deck but I will eventually have it all. You can try and take a whack at it if you like. I been coming here almost everyday since I found the store and have barely found the some of the cards I used to have! Jewel Knights are apparently hard to find. Well that's always good to know, hope you can look at some good fights here! I have to go home now so I'll see you tomorrow at the Cardfight Club!"

Noel walked back to her hotel realizing for the first time in her life, she actually has a group of people she can call friends. And that's something she will do anything for to protect

Darren stood up lightly and called out to her, "Text me if something else happens!" He assumed by now she had his number from the folded note he left her but there was always a chance she didn't know about it. Hopefully what he said helped with that. Darren then looked at the time, realizing it really was late. He didn't have as much homework as usual today so he could take his time getting home. However the shop wouldn't stay open long. He left to find anything else he could do before heading home to the hotel.

After the camping trip ended, Darren went home like normal. Once again, he was the only one there. After some time passed, he decided to make the most of the time and go to the Cardshop. For all he knew, he could get something to improve his deck if not just get some more practice. He was more relaxed about his abilities now, not worrying about being strong but just having fun with his heroes.

He was at the table, holding the last pack he had. Nothing her had gotten was helpful to him as they were all things he already had. Tearing open the last one he had, his eyes widened as he looked at the unit in the very back end. "Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha..." he muttered. He'd already had one that he found before coming to the city but now he had 2. The last match he was in, he had to use Daiyusha and the 10k power hurt him. Maybe this would help that. He decided to add it into his deck. That's the last edit I see myself making. My deck is what its gonna be. Now I just need to get better with it.
