Title: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall
Post by: Hope on August 19, 2015, 05:08:28 PM
Field Status
This is the local regional tournament hall where the last regional tournament was held.
It is empty as there are no events currently happening.
This area is open to the public.

What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

After all the events that transpired today, Neo took a very slow walk back to the city. Still recovering from his cardfight with Kurai, Neo noticed a building to his left and walked up to a sign.

"Regional Hall" Neo reading the sign.

Neo decided to walk inside and look around, but it was currently empty. So Neo decided to walk around the hall to think about recent events.

He then started to talk to himself again "Losing is just not an option but yet I lost to Kurai.. I wanted to show him that anger is not the way to play Vanguard.. but he was right, I have 0 faith in my Narukami deck because the deck is new. While everyone just says that this clan is well known, its only well known because no one remembers Kagero.. Thanks to the infomation Yukino and Hana gave me these past two days, I now know that Narukami was not my original clan. It was replaced. Right now im a broken shell of my former self. I have no confidence in my deck, even with the powerful Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion. But why!?" Neo then started screaming. I WILL NEVER FIND MOM AND DAD IF IM SCARED TO USE MY CLANS FULL POTENTIAL!"

Neo then punches a wall hard and starts crying filled with emotions.

"I dont know what to do.. Im lost with no answers, no leads. Im at a dead end and I dont know the path to keep on going"

A cool air along with thing smoke is being released along one the corridors.

"Stop being a loser and get over here," a young girl's voice echos, calling in the distance.

Neo Ishida has been invited to PSY Shop.

Make an RP over at the shop's field page saying that you accepted and entered if you wish to take up this offer.

Feeling as if staying home would result in nothing helping her slump, the queen found herself traveling around the city with no destination in particular. A wondering youth looking for some sort of answer that would relieve her stress and eliminate this depression. Unfortunately for her, she came across the Regional Hall. Where said depression originated from - the first major failure, and just the overall downfall of her life. It gave birth to beautiful things yet resulted in the now - an Espoir household full of suffering for the Vanguards.

Even so, the woman entered. Flashbacks of the fights with Shiki and Jellal played, things that happened because of her egocentric nature. Two fingers tapped down on one of the tables, sliding them across.

Why... did she come here... to only make it hurt more?

Having no plans for this day, Makuto decided to visit the Regional Hall to fulfill the satisfaction of walking across the Hall. He could almost feel the depressing atmosphere of people that competed on this place but didn't make it far. On the other hand, the depressing atmosphere was covered by an intense feeling of taking part in the Regionals and competing with top-notch players. Makuto wanted exactly this feeling and the crowd to cheer for him one day.

The moment he reached the main area with the tables, he noticed a woman standing by one. He couldn't help but notice her long and white hair.

"Yukino, is that you?" he said as he kept approaching her.

The snow woman turned to see someone she hadn't seen for... since Card Capital's grand opening. Honestly, she completely forgot his name. "You..." was blurted out, avoiding a guess at his name in fear of messing it up. The most that was remembered was the fact that he played Dark Irregulars, which greatly irked the Gold Paladins. Dark Zone in general was a territory of the vile and malicious. As warriors of justice and peace, they're a blight on Cray.

Yukino didn't let that sour her opinion of this man, however.

"Yes... It's me."

Makuto's eyes sparkled for a moment, he didn't expect someone like her to be lurking on a place like this.

"Long time no see. Haven't seen you since the Card Capital grand opening."

Makuto slightly tilted his head staring curiously at her. She looked moody and just... not ok. As if something really important happened but he couldn't tell what.

"Is something wrong? You look depressed." he asked her hoping she was alright.

"Oh, i'm glad you're alright." he replied to her as he smiled back.

"What brings me here huh... well let's say i just came for a walk. And while i'm at it, how about having a Cardfight with me. Sounds good?"  he replied and the next thing he did was take out his deck and placed it on the table.

"Watch for the Irregulars", Ezel warned.

"A fight... huh", Yukino can't say she's too eager, but she has to get back into the swing of things. Defeating Neu and saving the clans is impossible if the queen didn't even make an attempt. Still, she wasn't expecting much. Failure was a natural, prevalent force that weighed on her like gravity.

"Sure", she submitted, placing her deck down.

Another loss, but Yunos' voice finally reached through one last time, and Yugure accepted it. Blaster Dark, once again, appeared on the board. The blaster of resolution began barking orders, leading a massive charge against the Dark Irregulars, and holding off on Death Anchor's true power with his strategies. It was almost enough, plotting a Deck Out due to Death Anchor's soul charge, Makuto normal draw, and twin drive putting him at zero... But he rode Amon and they were unable to guard.

Yunos and Yugure finally connected to each other again, his words reaching her clearly and constantly. Though not at his full strength, the soldier of darkness no longer slept. His spirit synchronized with hers once again.

For the first time in awhile, the queen put on a small, but genuine smile.

"Thank you", she spoke to the victor. The pain of failure still ached, so she couldn't help but try to get away from the place by leaving.

A really fun game overall, he got to see how Gold Paladins really worked as she pulled some really nice moves. But Makuto had already planned his victory. Going through his deck with Red Magma, he got the card he needed. Amon was the key card. Despite having trouble with his deck, he finally understood how to work with it.

"Thank you too!" Makuto yelled hoping she could hear him. "I hope we meet again!"

He then took a closer look at the stage and the hall. "Next time I come here, I'll be participating at the Regionals!"

"Aren't you gonna say anything about the new strange clan we witnessed, Akuma?"

"Leave me alone, I have nothing to say about it." Akuma replied.

Makuto couldn't help but think about Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin as he left the place.

"So do I burn this place down or what...?" Neu asked herself.

She was pacing back and forth among the fight tables. This was a place where dreams in Vanguard could be fulfilled or crushed. Such a romantic thought, but only if you had the power to make such things come true. This place eliminated those who didn't have the power to move past the challenges, it judged people and made them irrelevant.

"Mmmm... where is he... we agreed to meet here, man getting nearly stood up twice in one day!" she complained, continuing her pacing back and forth.

Neo walked inside the regional hall and saw Neu there pacing back and forth

"Ah im glad to see you made it, sorry for the wait" Neo said to Neu as he walked towards her.

I have a request, Can we cardfight once again?" Neo asked her

Theres something I want to find out for myself and it can only be seen through a cardfight

"No reason for me to reject, that's why I came here anyways haha." Neu snapped her fingers and the lights of the regional hall turned on and a set of fight tables unfolded.

"Fight now, ask questions later, let's go!" She pointed at him with a deck in hand.

The cardfight ended and the 6th damage fell. Neo had once again lost to Neu who once again used Kagero. But when the cardfight was over, the questions Neo once had turned into answers.

"I now know" Neo said

Neo realized that Vermillion and Armor Break Dragon was not enough. He needed another strong power in order to save the clans of Cray and return them home. Neo had talked to as many people as he could, had as many cardfights as he could and no matter how tired he was, he was going to keep on fighting. For the clans of Cray and his parents. Neo then thought about everything Haruka told him today, as well as finding out infomation from Yukino and Satoshi. He knew what he had to do, now he just had to do it. To save everyone and to bring everyones happiness back.

"Neu thanks again for the cardfight, I now know what I have to do" Neo said

"But before I do, I have a question: Do you know what "The Rift" is?" Neo asked
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall
Post by: Hope on August 24, 2015, 03:28:39 AM
"Huh interesting question," Neu thought to herself.

She pointed at him with her right pinkie. "Ha, you should ask yourself," she gave out a light smile, "You made a deal with it yourself." Neu remembers it, that she is willing to use the Rift's power to bring him his parents back, that is, as long as he just stays the way he is, never wavering from his path and just having fun with his fights. As long as that was so, Neu wished to help him no matter what.

"It's a power beyond space and time, a place, but also a force all on its own. It's really a mystery, but its power is really helpful you know?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall
Post by: NeoBuster on August 24, 2015, 03:32:33 AM
"The reason I asked is because, I was starting to think that the rift had something to do with the clans going missing" Neo replied

Neo wasnt sure if he should have believed Neu's answer but to be quite honest how many people actually know in full details anything about the rift.

"Thanks again for helping me out, I had alot of fun in our cardfight" Neo said with a smile.

"The rift does have something to do with this," Neu pasued. She started to make her way out the Regional Hall. "What an interesting conversation, though I don't think he fully understands so I may as well tell him.." she thought to herself.

"Well sealing clans is no biggie, I mean the rift could do it for sure, but I can do it with my own hands as well." Neu let out a small giggle, looking at him. "Right now, there's nothing that I actually want to seal up and really, I don't think I have the power at the moment anyways." She shrugged.

"Anyways yeah, that fight was a lot of fun, heh." She waved at him, "just keep this a secret between us though anyways."

"It..... It cant be....." Neo said with shock

"Your the one who sealed all the clans away?! But why?! Do you know how much sadness you have caused to everyone?!" Neo said showing signs of anger.

"How could you?... Then you expect me not to tell anyone?" Neo said taking a step toward the exit
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall
Post by: Hope on August 24, 2015, 03:54:09 AM
Oh this again.

"Everyone? Weren't you happy up until the point someone told you? Jeez, barley anyone even knows about the clans. When you say, what "everyone," you mean like a handful of people? So what, "everyone," as in the rest of the world is happy now, the world is at peace, the little scuffle between Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin on Cray was resolved when I sealed them away. People are living their lives not even remembering the missing clans. It can't cause them misery if they don't even know about it at all."

She walked behind him and yawned, stretching her arms up.

"Getting the clans back is like sacrificing the world's happiness for the sake of a few others as well as your own, so isn't that a little selfish?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall
Post by: NeoBuster on August 24, 2015, 03:57:51 AM
"It is selfish if you think about it.." Neo replied

"But people are still trying to bring back the clans they love" Neo said

Neo started walking toward the exit.

"Ill call if anything comes up, intil then Neu" Neo said

Neo decided to run as fast as he could to the shopping district to tell the others

Curse the day that she walked into this place.

Regret filled her heart to see the hall that she had fought through to earn one of her most regretted achievements. A champion and a princess. Neither served her well, they were just burdens. The night sky glittered endlessly, Hana sat outside the gates of the regional hall. She was looking down on her feet, contemplating whether or not she should go home. Plans with her sister have been set, and she didn't feel like force feeding herself another serving of her daily routine. She just wished that she were able to speed up the end of the War of Liberation.

Neo walked from the park to the regional hall. The place where he found out about PSY Shop. Now that he fought Jellal, Neo knew what he was up against, but he wasnt sure if it was for the right reasons. Then Neo saw Hana in the distance and walked up to her

"You look like you need some cheering up" Neo said to Hana

"Why are you here all alone" Neo asked

In the darkness, a figure with white hair stood above her. He didn't look familiar at first, it took awhile to register, especially since they haven't seen each other in awhile.

"Oh... DogeKaiser... I'm fine." She turned her eyes away from him, looking off into the distance. "Actually, you're the one who's looking like the one who's in need of cheering up..." She tried to let out a laugh. "Your hair... why? That's so weird..."

She rested her head on the gate, and looked up at the stars. "Well I'm here alone cause I am alone... right?"

"The white hair is a very long story" Neo said

"I know it seems like we are alone at times when we are sad, but its always good to have a friend around" Neo said to Hana.

And for tonight, im that friend. So tell me whats on your mind?" Neo asked Hana

"Oh.." Neo said

"I just got finished cardfighting that Jellal person.." Neo started to say. "And he opened me up to the truth, first thing tomorrow im going to make everyone smile again. No matter what it takes" Neo said

Neo then turned to Hana

"Do you want me to walk you to your house or are you going to be ok?" Neo asked

"Jellal..." She bit her lip. Her feelings towards him from the past few days grew worse and worse as time passed, replaying the thoughts of him, she saw nothing but the Dragon of Hell. To be inspired by him and his way, Hana concluded that Neo couldn't possibly do anything to help the current situation.

"I... can walk home by myself..." Hana walked off into the darkness of he night furthermore.

The Regional Hall.

Two months ago, this was where it all began. The friendships, the hardships, the secrets, the crusades...all because the Triad of Hope couldn't make it to regionals, despite their efforts.

And it was here that Satoshi sat, meditating, hoping he could answer a question that came to him in a dream:

"Why do you play Vanguard? It's a game that's ruined so many lives when you could simply choose to be happy. Why let Cray be your focus? Who are you?"

He woke from that dream shortly after, and he couldn't speak. All he could do was think. Think of what everyone in his life had ever said. Haruka, Yukino, Jellal, Neu, Cero, Hana, his parents...all of them carried unbelievable weight with their words. But none of them seemed to give him an answer he was looking for. Why did he play Vanguard if it wasn't for his friends or family, or even for himself? What had changed?

Seph sat beside him, staring at the wall and thinking of something to say to encourage his champion.

"Y'know..." he began, scratching his chin, "As a child, you played Vanguard because you felt as though the ability to speak to your cards brought your imagination to life and gave you friends you didn't have. Does that not still ring true with you?" He turned to look at Satoshi's bruised face. "You wanted to fight Neu and those who wanted to keep the clans sealed because your gift gave you the chance to meet fantastic people who will change the bond between worlds. Do you not feel as though you can keep fighting?"

Satoshi sat there briefly, soaking in the worlds, then shook his head. "It's not that I can't keep fighting. The question is why do I." He stared at the double doors of the Regional Hall. "It's like I want to believe I'm doing something for people when I play Vanguard. That, as Neu wants, they're enjoying themselves and we're bonding through the game. That's how I met Yukino and Haruka, and so many others. People who play Vanguard, even for their own motives...they're inspiring."

He turned to face Seph. "But I didn't have to be so concerned for others before. They're all so depressed with this game as a catalyst, even if it's...really not a game. At least, not in particular." He scratched the back of his head. "It makes me think about what had happened if I hadn't met them, and I had just gone with playing this game as a hobby. Even though you pushed me, I could've rejected you and just tried to live a normal life alone."

Seph shook his head and grinned. "That wouldn't have worked. Not being alone bites away at you in the back of your mind, I saw it when I linked myself with you. You would've eventually tried to make some friends, no matter who they were, and then I would've come about to guide you in this exact same way."

His champion chuckled. "Well, that much is true. I can't say I fancy being alone." He turned back to the double doors, the short smile on his face from having a small laugh quickly fading. "But right now...I've been more a burden to those friends than a help. Yukino and Haruka have each other now, and it seems like they're managing fine without me." He waved his phone. "Not a single response from Yukino ever, so I'm only led to guess they're finding the answers they need for themselves and don't need me ragging on them about it. And Hana, she---"

"Hana stopped being the Vanguard of Cray."

Satoshi stopped, surprised at what the Guardian Dragon said. "She stopped? What happened?"

Seph shook his head, looking downtrodden. "I'm not at liberty to say, but as far as I understand, we are currently a Council without a true leader, even with Ezel taking the reins."

The farmboy bit his lip and looked at the floor. "I see...normally, I'd ask where she is and try to help her, but even there..." He nodded. "She has a right to do what she wants to do. She didn't necessarily ask for this at all. None of us did, even if it was the Espoir family's destiny. But we still have to---"

His eyes widened. Something had clicked. "We...I...I know what my Vanguard is."

Seph gave a slight smile. "Oh? And what is your Vanguard."

The voice rang in his head: "Why do you play Vanguard?"

Satoshi answered, firm as could be: "Companionship. So long as I have people at my side, Earth or Cray, I have to keep going for them, because they prevent me from being alone and wasting away."

The spirit grinned. "Good answer." He took his champion's hand, a light glowing. "And for that answer...champion and guardian combine."

Satoshi felt immense, calming energy, flowing into him as though he and Seph were truly fusing. When it ended, Seph was no longer there, but his champion heard his voice, plain as day.

"It's time you and I became the Vanguard we were meant to be, Satoshi Kurosaki. Let us protect these worlds together."

Seph +15 AP

Noah was passing through the regional hall when he saw a person who was clearly a fighter. The fighter's face was bruised, he seemed confident, as if though he was about to accomplish something magnificent. However Noah heard the voice of the blue dragon in his head.

Noah listened to the voice and approached the fighter.

Satoshi turned. This boy was from yesterday at the park. Something about Aqua Force not being meant for the means Jellal worked with them for or something? He couldn't remember fully. Whatever the case, this person at least had their own resolve.

And that interested him.

He nodded. "I am. Can I help you in some way?"

Its been awhile since he's been here. And to be frank, the only reason he returned was for a quick dose of nostalgia before his trip. In a couple of days Haruka would be heading overseas for the National Circuit. His reason for joining is pretty simple. In fact, its mostly similar to everybody else's.

To fight, and to win. But he also wanted to support those around him. It was an interesting idea, to him at the very least.

He traced his hands around the fight tables, taking in the tournament atmosphere. He left his house without his deck, taking the time to enjoy everything before he goes on a nearly non-stop fight trip in a few days.

Hmmm... Its only the beginning, after all.

After relaxing at the park, Noah wandered around the city for a while. He went to a cafe, but when he took a sip of water pain shot through his head, similar to the way it did on the subway. He closed his eyes in pain, but when he opened them he was still in the cafe. However he heard a voice in his head. It was Maelstrom, yet no one else could hear him.

"Walk south for a few blocks and find the regional hall." Maelstrom's words echoed in Noah's mind.

"Wait, why? Shouldn't I be preparing for the New York stage in a few days?" Noah thought to himself, but Maelstrom did not reply. Noah knew he needed to prepare, but he followed the dragon's orders, besides how long could it take?

Noah walked to the Regional hall only to find it empty.

"Huh, figures." Noah thought to himself as he sighed, but then he noticed a boy who looked a bit older than himself with a scarf, somehow Noah had a hunch that this boy was working to unseal the clans, so he approached him.

"Hey!" Noah greeted the boy cheerfully.

"Hmm ?" The silence that enveloped the room only a moment ago had shattered by a reverberation.

"Oh, hi there." Haruka pockets his left hand, waving with his right. He gives off a grin. The afternoon light spread through the room. A boy began to make his way towards Haruka. The face was discernable but no name surfaced.

"Did you need something?" Haruka wasn't meaning to come off as intentionally rude, but he hasn't personally met this individual, leading him to believe that the person in question recognized him from somewhere before. But where?

"Not particularly, I'm just surprised anyone besides me is here." Noah said with a smile on his face. "So what brings you to the regional hall, as there isn't really much here at the moment?"

This guy seemed rather nice, why would he be trying to cause chaos on Cray by unsealing the clans? The clans being unsealed before the Rift's destruction would just cause another civil war. Noah winced in pain.

"You're initial assumption was correct, this boy is working to unseal the clans." Maelstrom's words echoed in Noah's mind.

Ighanna arrives at a large yet empty Regional Hall in order to observe the surroundings as it is a potential place to hold her live tour. Upon arrival she saw some mysterious looking people, about three, hanging around the alienated stage which questioned her. She then tried to relay a message to Metatron, whom have just recently recovered from comatose after the construction site incident.

"There seems to be an interesting person in here. Maelstrom's wielder, another one heh" Metatron told Ighanna as she mentioned to her about how Maelstrom was also Jellal's avatar unit. Ighanna thought whether this gifted person will support them in recovering Cray.

"Call it a trip down memory lane?" His smile switched to a casual neutral expression.

"Mind if I return the question? I mean, everyone is training for the National Circuit, you know?"

Haruka finds himself in a conversation with somebody he has never met, yet he finds an odd aura around the boy. Eccentric at best, co siderong they've never talked before.

"Even if I told you, I'm not sure if you'd believe me." Noah giggled slightly. He was training for the national circuit, was he trying to find something there to unseal the clans? No, he could be just a regular strong cardfighter.

"Do not doubt yourself, he's trying to unseal the clans." The words of Maelstrom echoed in Noah's mind.

"Oh, if you don't mind me asking, why are you trying to unseal the lost clans?" Noah asked, cheerfully.

Well that's mostly-

Wait. What?

"Er, so you know about them?" Haruka scratched his head looking behind the boy. There wasn't anything in particular behind him, but eye contact was one of Haruka's weaknesses. He bit his lip and sighed, as if in defeat. Although he didn't lose much, as he was simply explaining the situation.

"I lost a friend in there. Someone took him away from me, and I intend to get him back." Haruka answers casually, as he responds to a text from Yukino.

"No problem, sweetheart, glad you're feeling better. And it's good to have you back! We should talk later. beach sounds good. see you then ^w^! -haru"

Flipping his phone shut, he returns his attention to the eerily cheerful boy standing a few meters in front of him. He gave Haruka the major creeps.

Noah's expression got darker with the mention of the word "friend."

"Friend, you say?" Noah asked.

"You're being too happy, just be yourself. I think you're scaring him." Maelstrom's words echoed in Noah's head.

"Maelstrom had a point, the boy was clearly trying to avoid eye contact. I guess I would just have to be myself to some extent, even with Maelstrom's request of destroying the rift before the clans are unsealed. Wait, but I'm a pushover with no friends. Well, I guess I'll just have to try my best, even with my horrid personality!" Noah thought to himself.

"Oh, well I'm going to have to ask you to stop trying to unseal those clans." Noah said calmly.

"Yeah, a friend-" The boy notably got annoyed. Something snapped? Haruka was mostly unsure of how to take this anymore. He wanted to leave, but he also had a point to prove. Without a deck or a viable way to prove it at the moment though, he played along for a bit. Not simply instigating the boy, but just differentiating his view on the whole scenario.

"What's wrong with unsealing the clans? I mean, wouldn't it be unfair if you were enjoying life and one day were suddenly locked in solitary confinement? Sort of whack, huh?" Haruka was going to reason with the boy, considering it his only way out at this point. Unless he wanted to leave the awkward impression of simply storming out of the hall, but that was a bit childish of him, so he refrained from the option altogether.

"But those clans weren't just enjoying a normal every day life. They were starting a civil war, and I'm sure, even on Cray, that's not normal." Noah replied.

"I messed up badly, he clearly wants to leave. Ugh, I'm awful...." Noah thought to himself. "Well, it is pretty weird to just come up to a stranger in an empty place and strike up a conversation, I should probably stick to card shops for trying to make friends. But for now, I need to find out what he knows about unsealing the clans."

"Right. That is weird. But why would those who were simply defending those they loved from hell, be villains? Weird kinda twist... Anyways, I'm off. I have to meet up with people later, and this wasn't meant to be a long stay. Another day, maybe-er, I never got your name?" Haruka walks out the front door, standing in the entrance way awaiting an answer.

"I'm Haruka, by the way. If you ever need a name to call out or something." He grins, hands pocketed, walking out into the afternoon glow.

"Later!" Noah said as the scarfed boy walked away.

Today was the day of the cultural festival. Or at least Day 1, anyways. The Vanguard Club didn't really come to a unanimous decision before the event and the planning period was sort of short to begin with, so they last second decided on a Vanguard Cafe; all the workers dressed up as their favorite units or avatars, and you served people who came in. If they requested a fight, you gave them one. Service with a smile.

Haruka's specialty.

He promptly made his way over to the area the Vanguard Club had to set up.

Nobody was here yet. Where were they?! The festival was starting really soon and if they weren't ready when customers showed up, Haruka would get a repeat of last night, but in a costume. Costumes... Right, Haruka had yet to pick a unit to dress up as. Awkward.

"guise, where r u? event starts soon at the regional hall. need u here to halp me out. kthx hurry -haruu"

That text was sent to everybody in his contacts list.

Tsubasa, Seifer, Noel, Rose, Sky, Hana, Yukino, Butler-san, Uncle Toshi, Darren, Hikaru, Alex, Miyuki, Neo, Shiki, and a few other people who didn't actually live in this country.

Hoh boy.

Darren yawned as he walked into the Regional Hall. He had spent most of the night trying to figure out what happened last night. Neo disappeared and never came back. Eventually, he just gave up as fatigue set in and he went home to sleep. He got a text reminder about the Cultural Festival telling him that it was today, so he didn't know if he was late or not. Instead of replying, he went directly to the Regional Hall to do what he could.

Darren walked towards the area that was meant for them as he was moving in a bit of a rush. He stopped when he finally saw Haruka. He waved lightly and said, "Sorry I'm late... Last night was weird." He didn't know if he should mention that he saw Neo for a moment and then he just disappeared. It was so hard to believe that even he couldn't believe it. "Anyway, where do you want me to start?"

At least somebody showed up. The event was nearly starting so it looks like two would be all they had for now.

Uh oh.

"Hey, good timing. I already made a few pots of coffee and the tea will be ready soon. My work let me borrow a lot of breads and cookies so we should be fine in that department. Head in the back and get changed. I'll be changing in a few also, but I'm sticking out front for now in case anybody else shows up and need to know where to go."

Haruka nodded to Darren, waving him off to the back. Haruka spent a few minutes checking things off on the checklist as people started to line-up around the event. A few people were already at the cafe line-up  before it was even open and they only had three people on staff, Haruka, Darren and Uncle Toshi. He actually showed up. He was dressed as his ace unit, Masked Police, Grander. God he looked so weird in that getup....

"C'mon guys... where are you?" Haruka was getting restless.

Darren nodded as he went into the back. He looked at all the different costumes. He didn't really know which to take since he needed one that wouldn't get in the way of what he was doing but he also wanted to look cool. He would have went as one of his Dimensional Robo units but they weren't there, for good reason. Their bulky bodies would make things difficult.

He decided to dress as a Knight. Wolf Fang Liberator, Garmore. Of all the Gold Paladin units, he liked this one the most even though he could never find the clan itself. He had to do without the claws though. Hopefully that didn't make much difference. The wig was difficult enough when it got in the eyes.

Darren came out after he was dressed, looking around as he said, "Okay, how many are here?" He was hoping the number wasn't low. He still wasn't completely sure what he could do for the event, but he would have to do his best until others arrived.

Isabella just arrived from a big meeting, but then suddenly she ended up finding herself as the victim in the "sink the idol" booth that one of the clubs held. The proceeds did go to the Umano fund, but her memory is blurry how she ended up here, then she saw him. Drake. This was his idea. No doubt. Drowning like this probably reminded him of the nights where he drowned in his own tears.

The club executives had Isabella dress up as a mermaid with Pacifica's dress and fins, everything. She even had penguin plushies. She was just about ready to scream with how awkward this all was, but before she could someone would often throw the ball at the button which would cause her to fall into the water, and the rest was history.

Drake was clapping as he watched like some proud girlfriend. Isabella was ready to slap him with her tail fin.

"We have..." Haruka looked at the line. Got on his tippy toes. Jumped.

"A lot." Haruka looked back at the, er, Garmore. Haruka honestly expected Dimension Police or something, but most of the cool ace units like Daikaiser and stuff weren't back there due to being too clunky or unable to effectively handle the equipment. Fair enough.

He pinched his nose, taking a look around the event... Hana was here it seemed. Constantly being dunked into a tank it seemed. Drake was having a blast for once so Haruka was glad he wasn't just crying his eyes out like usual. Hana might just have to endure. He waved over to her with a nod.

"Good luck." Is what he mouthed to her.

"Anyways, people are heading in about five minutes so I'm gonna go get changed."

Haruka handed Darren the checklist, with the only thing left unchecked being the attendance list. Most people who said they would be at the event haven't showed up yet, so Haruka was a bit impatient.

He ran back to find a lot of, well, more or less revealing costumes... Why were all them either succubus costumes from Dark Irregulars, or Bermuda Triangle Idols? The amount of guy costumes was scarcely limited, meaning Haruka had to pick something either Paladin related, or be a furry from Great Nature. Or a bug.

Haruka found himself walking out dressed in azure armor adorned with a crimson cape, and a lance. He was Dorint! The only unit Haruka found particularly interesting of the Revenger clan, since everyone else looked really edgy. If this were his main clan, Dorint would be best girl. Avatar for life. Haruka ended up using the lance for show, but put it away after a moment of realizing he can't handle plates and stuff with it. Maybe if there were photo opportunities he would bring it back out.

"Okay, anyone else show up?" Haruka asked, patting Darren on the shoulder.

After the endless dunking, Isabella took it upon herself to throw Drake into the contraption and even changed the name from "Sink the Idol" to "Dump the Rapper."

She dried her hair and combed it, changing into a set of clothes that she would wear while serving over at the cafe. Mer's didn't exactly work for her's since her body type didn't fit nor look well within the outfit, but Reit was perfect. Isabella even set her hair up to be pig tails, looking a little extra cute because of them. The dress color that she picked was black of course, and she opted to skip on the fins. While applying make up, she tried to go with a minimal and more natural looking style.

Upon walking out of the dressing room, 50 miles worth of jaws dropped as she twisted the light around her to make her skin glow radiantly, and as a result of using her powers to do this, her eyes reflected stars and people were entranced by them. Isabella was loving her role as the Eye of Temptation. She was also hoping that she could take a picture later to show Mi-hime. For now, more lined up over at the Vanguard club's booth, ready to see the mermaid princess in action.

She signed into the club roster, noticing a bunch of other missing members. With her, she brought a few missing costumes, carried by a few of the Espoir workers. She brought Butler-san over who wanted to dress up as a unit, but didn't want to be too bulky since he would be unable to create cuisine to the best of his ability. He dressed up as Mr. Invincible.

For Noel, she brought and Ashlei costume, and for Dogebuster, she got a Gauntlet Buster Dragon costume which was extremely large. She didn't think about the specifics of the rest, but as more people showed up, she decided that with the amount of costumes that she brought, they would be able to find something. She even brought a Blaster Blade costume for Yukinee if she decided to make an appearance.

"Yahello! Sorry I'm late guys! I got the text about the festival but I got caught up with some things back home that I had to take care of. I tried rushing to get back here but things were a little complicated but I'm here now. Hopefully things haven't officially started." Noel said barely arriving and was gasping for air, most likely she power walked and eventually ran the rest so she can get there on time.

Fortunately, she wasn't the only one late. The others of the Cardfight Club were late as well. The only ones there were Haruka, Darren, and Hana. Noel now makes four of them. Then something caught her eye, there were costumes of Vanguard units. The members apparently had to dress up for the event. "Cooooool, this is gonna be so much fun!"

Darren looked at Haruka, trying not to smile too much at the costume as he said, "No one else has come yet, but I did send a text to Noel while I was changing. Hopefully she'll be here soon." The more he looked out at the amount of people around, the more he really hoped it wouldn't just be them serving. He looked down at the checklist and saw mostly everything was done. Still not shure what I can do here...

It was then that Darren saw Hana, waving to her as he was relieved that he wouldn't be the only one around. Looking at her though, she might attract even more people. At least our event would be a success. That was a good thing... wasn't it? He then saw Noel, glad to have another hand to help. "Hey Noel, ya made it! We're about to start soon."
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall
Post by: Jello on September 27, 2015, 04:19:07 PM
Reit, Dorint and Garmore stood at the forefront of the event, waving customers in with smiles and such. Hana had attracted at least half of the event over to this side of the hall, making Haruka realize something fatal... He wouldn't be able to keep this costume on all event. Why? Dorint's costume was a zip-up from the back, meaning it would be very difficult to move around besides the basic cardinal directions. But had he the need to bend over or kneel, the costume would break or rip, cause it wasn't very well done armor and there was cloth under that was stitched to it, but it was a super tight fit.

"I-I'll be back in a minute." Haruka went out back to change after he waved to Noel for joining us.

"Make sure you get into costume too!"

Haruka had a Plan-B. It was ironic in every which way considering the only thing he really knew about this unit was one thing. His name. Oh, and he had a habit of making things in the front row disappear.

Black armor, red cape, green eyes, he was Blaster Dark, Revenger addition because Haruka loved capes. And he felt even more silly in this than in Dorint's costume, because if anyone who knew the story behind Yunos' awkward jealousy of Haruka, it would just make for too good of a story to pass up. He grabbed the sword and walked back out behind Darren and Hana.

This time, the costume actually was separate pieces of armor, not just cloth stitching. He could move around easier in it, but he looked so edgy. Well, a change of pace never hurt. The edgelord lives on.

"The line can start moving in once Noel changes. There should be enough of us that way." Haruka fixed his helmet and adjusted the cape notches.

After the events of the previous night, Seifer made his way here, his hands shoved in his pockets. What happened last night? Where was Tsubasa and Neu? Flipping his phone open though he brought up a contact that wasn't mentioned. Yugure. He hesitated for a moment before typing away at the keypad.

'We have to talk. It's urgent, and I'd rather not do it over the phone.'

He hit send before continuing on about his business, looking at everything around in the festival. He should probably enjoy himself while he could since it seemed things were picking up and not for the better. He noticed however at the forefront of the festival was Reit, Dorint, and Garmore. He recognized the three units, one being from Shadow Paladin. so it was a Vanguard event? Then he saw Haruka in Blaster Dark's armor. That almost brought a laugh, but instead he continued to wander around.

Noel looked surprised, they had a costume prepared for her? No one even consulted her on what she wanted to dress up as. "I didn't know I had one already to wear... guess I will take a look." She then went and looked at the rack of costumes and started going through them. So many different Vanguard units here and the materials used to make it looks top notch! It's almost like the real clothing of the units themselves! She thought amazed at how masterfully done the costumes were. That was when she saw it. A costume based on Ashlei. However, something about the costume looked familiar.

"I never cosplayed as a Vanguard unit before yet... why do I feel like I used to wear this before? Like if it was something I always wore... this is honestly the first time I ever saw an Ashlei costume so why..." Noel somewhat muttered to herself in confusion and familiarity. She feels like the costume was part of her attire before but at the same time Noel never owned or even wore the costume in her life. She then went to the changing booths and started putting the costume on. Noel started having strange nostalgic moments as she equipped herself with the accessories of the costume. Now fully dressed into the costume and accessories of it, Noel looked exactly how Ashlei would look but the difference being Noel has black hair instead. She then took the replica sword and as soon as she touched it, she started having a strange headache a long with visions of random memories rushing through her eyes like some sort of slideshow.

"What the, what in the world?! What was that just now?!" Even more confused, Noel shook it off and went back to the others. The Knight of Pearl has arrived at the Vanguard Cafe!

Daren looked at Neo with a blink, wondering what had happened to him before. He thought about asking him but it was going to be hectic enough as it was. He decided he would ask about it later. For now, however, he had to focus on... whatever it was he was going to be doing. What was he going to be doing again? Serving? Preparing? Cash Register? He could do at least some of those but no one drew up a set plan of duties. At least with Noel ready, and looking nice in her costume actually, they could get some direction and get started.

Everyone seemed to assemble rather quickly. Haruka went ahead giving small directional orders considering none of them worked a cafe before and this was going to be a lot more work than play, sadly. Unless you got a fight challenge. Then it was some play, less work probably.

"Alright, since Hana is so good at getting attention, she can work out front leading people in? A good hostess can make or break the place after alll. Err, Darren I need you in the back helping me with barista work, but you'll out with Noel serving too. Until other people show up that's all we can do for now..." Haruka trailed off for a moment, fixing the armor again. It fit surprisingly well, he just wasn't sure how to make the cape sit correctly-Oh, got it.

"Hop to it then, we can talk later." Haruka saw Seifer out of the corner of his eyes and wanted to call him over, but he was already gone when the idea came to his mind.

Seifer sighed softly to himself before turning around on his heel and walking back in the direction of Blaster Dark Haruka, stopping next to him and putting his hands into his pockets. He should probably actually help out but oh well. "I suppose I'm needed for something as well? ...That sounds kind of bad to say aloud... Sorry, I've just got a lot on my mind. Where do you need me and what should I put on I guess?"

Cero entered the regional hall, looking around at the various booths set up.  As he walked, none of them looked particularly interesting.  Most of them were about Japanese culture, something Cero didn't really care for.  When he reached the end, however, he noticed a rather large line-up for a booth.  Looking at it, it read "Vanguard Café."  There were a number of people dressed as Vanguard units, the only person he recognized being Hana dressed up as Reit, which was probably the only reason the line-up was as long as it was.  Cutting to the front of the line, Cero decided he may as well see if this 'café' was any good.

Darren had no idea what a "barista" was but if he was needed in the back then he would go to the back. He walked back there, hoping he would get some direction as things went along. "Let's do our best guys!" he called out. Being in the back made him think he would need to prepare things. As long as it wasn't horribly difficult he should be fine. Big emphasis on should.

"Go in the back and get dressed. Pick a costume, uh, er, there should be something to suit your tastes. Darren will be working in the back with me, as well as serving with Noel, Hana will work hostess. You're good at orders, so I'll have you serve full-time. Get dressed and go go go!" Haruka made it sound something like soldier work, but this wasn't nearly as hard as that. Probably.

Haruka walked to the line, letting more people in and noticed a familiar face. Sort of anyways. One he didn't particularly like to remember, but at least it could've been worse. Cero Kirguis was at the front of the line, presumably not there before but it didn't really matter now.

"Come on in and find a seat." Haruka welcomed the first batch of people whilst going back and leaving the seating to Hana in the meantime.

Meeting with Darren he called out, "Okay, we're on cooking staff. Thing is, everything is premade. We just make the orders and remake any coffee or tea that people want. We also serve water and a few fruity drinks which you'll find in the cooler over there." Haruka directed Darren's attention to a blue and orange cooler over by the sink in the back room.

"For now, I'll handle things back here and I'll call you over when needed. Head out there with Seifer and take this." Haruka handed Darren a tray as well as a notepad.

"Give the notepad to Seifer so he can take orders. Oh and a pen." He handed Darren that too.

With a sigh and a wave off, Haruka seated himself in the back. There was a mirror for employees to fix themselves with, so Haruka took a look in the mirror just for fun. He saw himself in Blaster Dark's ebony armor. He liked the look, despite how awkward he wore it. Something about Shadow Paladins gave off a good vibe to him, probably because Vortimer and Spectral Duke were something similar to Shadow Paladins originally and therefore he did hold a semblance of a connection to them.

Almost made him wish he knew the clan a bit better from the get go...

With that out of the way, he shook his head and started pouring cups of coffee for the first batch of people coming in.

Seifer thought for a moment before walking to the back of the shop, looking through costumes. Only two appealed and he might wear the other one tomorrow... but for today... After a few minutes, the male returned to the front wearing a Dragonic Overlord outfit which the only thing that wasn't there was the head, really just Dragonic Overlord's head ornaments like the horn and head wings. It, oddly looked very good on the brunette and he walked up to grab the notepad to get orders. The only thing that really felt weird was the tail and wings though... He'd have to adjust to that. Walking up and around getting orders for people and bringing them to Haruka and Darren when prompted, depending on what the order was. Stopping in front of the person who he vaguely recognized however as one of the heroes from a year ago he readied the notepad and pen. "Can I get your order please?" he asked Cero.

"I gotta serve people? Being a waitress might be tough, especially if we are going to be really busy. Just look at the line out there! Hopefully we won't have any issues..." Noel then sighed as she knew that her job to serve people will be tough and demanding. Taking orders from people isn't as quite simple as it seems, especially in cafe's and other food places. Everything needs to be exactly as ordered. One small thing that can go wrong and the day will go downhill from there. She placed her replica sword behind the counter so she can move around easier without having something by her waist that can knock something down. Alright, I can do this. It shouldn't be hard at all! Back at home with the dozens of maids and butlers, they did their job so flawlessly! If they were able to do it, then so can I!

Noel noticed someone cutting in front of the line and she wanted to yell at him for being rude to those already waiting but somewhere in her mind she heard a voice saying, "There is a time and place for everything. This isn't one of them." That's when she stopped and thought about customer service. Someone who works in that line of work shouldn't care about the customer's attitudes or rude habits, they sadly always win even when they are completely clueless and wrong. If the sky is green, then the sky is green. Eating the words she was about to say, she then replaced them with: "Welcome my Vanguard! How may I serve you?"

Looking at the person who came to take is order, Cero had difficulty stifling his laughter.  The costume this man was wearing was absolutely ridiculous!  Bursting out into laughter for several minutes, Cero finally managed to stop laughing for a few seconds...  Only to start laughing again.  The outfit was simply too ridiculous for Cero to take seriously, and he fell out of his chair laughing, and began literally rolling on the floor laughing.  The wings together with the tail and horns just made the outfit so hilarious to Cero, and he was having difficulty breathing with the amount he was laughing.

Seifer kept his composure the entire time, staring at the other male, who was being incredibly rude. It really didn't bother him at all, since he not only expected it, he kind of welcomed it. It was also kind of funny to watch people act like total morons and lose their minds in laughter, whether he looked ridiculous or not. He continued to remain stoic even in the face of this, since comparatively, the one who was laughing uncontrollably was the more ridiculous looking, drawing several stares from the other customers.

After laughing for far too long, Cero managed to regain his composure.  Having forgotten what he was going to order, he took another look at the menu.  "I'll have earl grey tea, no cream or sugar."  Cero handed the menu back to the man, having taken no notice to the many odd looks his fit of laughter had gotten from around the café.

Huh? What's so funny over there?

After taking some orders from other customers that were staring at the guy on the floor bursting out and dying of laughter, Noel looked above him and saw someone dressed up like Dragonic Overlord. "Sei...fer? Is that... is that you?" Noel looked surprised at how funny he actually looked. She almost joined that rude customer in laughing but she covered her mouth and held in the laughter and tried to keep her composure as well. I... This... this is too funny! I need to take a picture of this and send it to mom! She then quickly took out her phone and took a picture of him dressed as Overlord and sent it to her mom.

Seifer nodded, taking the order down, as well as the menu. He continued to remain stoic though, a rather odd sight. You'd think someone would be infinitely embarrassed but no, not Seifer. Returning to the counter to give the order over to Haruka, he'd almost immediately return it to Cero once Seifer himself received the order. After giving the tea that Cero ordered he went about his business, retrieving other orders from other customers who actually seemed to apologize about the outburst from Cero though, Seifer's response was always 'As long as someone is having fun, it's fine.'

Cero nodded as his tea was brought to him.  He heard several people apologizing to the ridiculously dressed man in Cero's place, which was rather confusing.  Cero had been the ones laughing at the man, not them.  As he was waiting, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed someone dressed as a Jewel Knight unit.  He couldn't remember the unit's name, but he was rather curious about her abilities as a cardfighter.  There were many people who played the deck at the training area he ran, but none did particularly well with it.  He continued sipping his tea, occasionally glancing over at her, something that likely came off as creepy to most of the other people at the café, though Cero wasn't worried about that.

Shiki was a "bit" late, but he finally made his way into the festival, answering to Haruka's text. Upon entry the first thing he saw was a bunch of people cosplaying Vanguard stuff. And he just stood there. Wearing a simple school uniform. Shrugging his shoulder without any bit of actual care, Shiki walked around looking for Harooka, who was serving coffee to people or something like he always does. With a wave, he greeted him aswell as questioning what the "pls help" part of the text exactly meant.

Haruka came from out back still cloaked and armored in black and red. Still edgy.

"H-Hey, Shiki! Thanks for showing up on such short notice. There is a dressing room back here! Pick a costume, put it on. You'll be working back here with me for now." Haruka waved Shiki to the back of the area. Seifer seemed to be doing fine, aside from having to deal with outrageous laughter of Cero. Haruka just sighed and shrugged for that, unsure of how to deal with it.

Don't let it get to you, works fine.

Noel and Darren seemed to be getting their jobs done and the line was finally shortening, but there were still no empty seats for the cafe. That many people were still showing up around the area for it... it was a hit!

Haruka smiled for a moment, before turning to Shiki, motioning for him once more to pick a costume and start helping out.

Haruka actually had something to talk to him about anyways...

Darren gave a sigh as he was being directed, moving as fast as the suit would allow him. From where he was he was able to see Seifer's Dragonic Overlord Costume as well as the line shortening. This wasn't as hard as he thought it was going to be. He wondered about Neo though. Something about him seemed different from the other times he had seen him. He was nothing like the person he met in the Park that day. Then again he had seemed a bit out of sorts ever since the Camping Trip.

Seifer continued to go about his job like he did helping Haruka out the previous night, making customers happy, smiling and sending them on their way as they got their orders. This was kind of fun to him honestly. He'd noticed Noel's outfit though, wondering how their mom would react to seeing her as such. It'd be interesting but, while he probably knew she'd take the chance to do it to him, he wouldn't do it back.

Neo got up from the bench and decided to walk around the festival. He was wearing a black shirt with a red scarf and his black gloves with jeans and red sneakers. A bit different then his usual clothes. He walked into the cafe to see what type of food there was but the way Neo was acting was strange.

"I wonder what there is to eat" Neo said folding his arms

Following the directions given by Haruka, Shiki went to the dressing room, he wasn't exactly attached to any Vanguard unit or whatever so he just picked a random one, and oh boy was it one hell of a choice. As the doors opened, the walked out, in a Hey Yo Pineapple costume, walking around slowly as the costume was simply too round and bulky, and in the middle, Shiki's straight unamused face covered by shades. The costume's green dreads bounced around with each step as he made his way back to Haruka "Okay, now what?"

Haruka nearly had a heart attack seeing the man come out in a giant friggen pineapple costume. That thing could have killed someone if it was let on the loose so Haruka started to sweat a bit.

"J-Just sit down man..." Haruka stood up and paced to the coffee-maker and back a few times, cape fluttering around behind him. He started actually feeling like Yunos in that armor and that was getting sort of creepy.

"Alright, so, the lines seemed to have shortened up for now, so we can head out and start serving. Err, just, be careful not to crush anybody in that." He waved his hands in a way that signaled 'please no casualites.'

But before he left, he grabbed Blaster Dark and pointed it upward triumphantly. He always wanted to do that. Haruka was slowly growing an affinity for the Shadow Paladin deck as a whole. Weird.

"Anyways, I actually wanted to talk to you before we go out there anyways." Haruka sat down, directing Shiki to take a seat before they left. Time for some deep talk. Or at least as deep as it got for these two. Haruka stretched a bit, and put his elbows on his knees for support as he leaned towards the ground a bit.

"There is something coming. I don't know if you heard about it. Invaders or something of the like. I couldn't tell you what it's all really about. Wow that sounds weird..." Haruka scratches his chin and stands up, pacing with Blaster Dark in hand. Time to get dramatic.

He points the sword at Shiki, allowing a dark glint to his eyes. His face turns serious. Haruka is in character now. Oh boy.

"Hey Yo Pineapple! Soon the planet Earth will be under attack by an unknown threat! We must be ready for when the show. I need your help to ensure the citizens of the Earth and future generations will be safe. Will you join my command?" Haruka takes the sword, placing the tip on the ground and holding by the hilt at his chest, and holds his hand out to Shiki.

Very knightly. Well done Haruka, 10 points.

No murder, no accidents, can't be hard.. right?

He could barely sit down, shoving both the table and chair to the side nearly making them fall over as he slowly slided his way in between them, oh the pain of a bulky costume. But hey, atleast his butt was firmly placed on the chair now.

Shiki couldn't help but respond with a "What." about all this stuff Haruka was mentioning, invaders? Is this palce getting robbed? Or aliens? In case of the second some water would be useful.. however before he went too deep in though about both of those situations, sudden revelation happened. He stood up rapidly knocking down the chair and table and nearly tripping himself

"Hell yeah I am!", full of energy Shiki reached his hand to Haruka and shook it ignoring all the destruction he caused while doing so. The boy had no idea what "Hey Yo Pineapple" was refering to as he didn't even know that unit he's cosplaying as, but it was a cool name nonetheless.

After this heroic roleplay moment, he set off to his quest of serving others.. by bumping into literally everyone and everything and tripping atleast one time every 10 steps. The costume lacked flexibility and his eyes could barely grasp the surroundings because of the sunglasses.

"H-Haha... Well that works too." Haruka shrugged, hoping the point got across. Probably not the way he intended, but Shiki seemed really enthusiastic. Seems they'd be working together to stop the invaders too. Glad was a good way to put it.

With that, he followed Shiki out from behind the cafe counter and into the actual cafe area. Seifer and Noel were finishing up the last few orders from this batch and then the line would shuffle in a bit more. The event was going smoothly as planned and enough people had shown up to see it through. Haruka was really proud of his clubmates and those who decided to help out anyways. Butler-san was enjoying himself with Uncle Toshi. They seemed to be getting along just fine, so that works out. Seifer looked a bit silly as Dragonic Overlord, but it worked for him...-

Seifer as Overlord and Haruka as Blaster Dark? That must get confusing.

Shiki was somewhat destroying stuff or knocking it over, luckily nothing was glass or ceramic, mostly plastic and styrofoam so nothing was particularly damaged. He walked out, started thanking people who came to work, and proceeded to start handing coffee off to a few of the kids who showed up as well as other students and young adults. Even a few of the elderly came for tea and to watch some of the Vanguard fights.

"Ahh, if only StarGATEBucks was like this. Work would be interesting..."

Haruka approached the diligently working Seifer in his Overlord costume. Haruka had a plan. A malicious plan.

"Hey, man, can I ask you something? Let's have a fight. Err, but uhm..." Haruka fidgeted for a moment, fixing his armor.

"Mind if I borrow your Shadow Paladin deck for it? For the sake of the getup... We can do it in front of everyone if you want? Like a show!" Haruka faked jazz hands as he asked this.

Seifer who was now taking a moment to relax glanced up at the approaching Haruka before nodding slightly. "Uh... sure...?" he reached into the black deck box and pulling out the new version of his deck build he was working on with Raging Form. It wasn't complete yet, he didn't think but... Oh well. It would help him test the changes to his Kagero deck as well. As for the show part. "Sure. I think it'd be fun."

Tsubasa and Neu had finally arrived at the festival, originally they could not recognize most of the people there, but overtime they were able to notice the faces of the people of that were available, those include, Noel, Darren, Seifer, Shiki, Haruka and Cero. He took the chance to go greet his friend Seifer who was apparently also dressed up for the event.

"Hey Seifer, Haruka, it's good to see you both..I see that this festival has gotten everyone excited." he said, trying to maintain a smile as he tried to scan the area to see if Neo was also here or not, the events of last night truly rattled him but he did not want to miss this chance to enjoy sometime with Neu and everyone.

For the festival Tsubasa did not wear something extravagant, he had a white and gold cape attached to his grey shirt and black jeans, he felt that the cape just symbolized the Blaster Blade Liberator motif, but it looked like a jacket or coat to most, which is what Tsubasa wanted as he was not a serious cosplayer.

With the work apparently done, Darren stepped away from the back room. He gave a sigh of relief that he had done it all as he said, "Oh, is a fight about to start?" He didn't change out of the Garmore costume yet in case he needed to go back and work more. Then again, it wasn't like he was needed for much anyway. He saw Tsubasa with a blink and said, "Oh, hey there!"

With that agreement, Haruka took the black deck box. Immediately a feeling of, well, synchronization happened. Haruka arched an eyebrow as a smooth stream of heat ran through his arm and to his chest. A familiar flame he got from Overlord. He took a small breath before seating himself, moving the cape out of the way before the fight.

Stand up, the Vanguard!

The fight went pretty even until grade 3's were getting ridden. Haruka opened on a PG whilst Flannel is what came to Seifer's side. Haruka even ended up riding, well, the same unit he was dressed as, Blaster Dark Revenger! He was more than pleased with that, but sadly his Claudus was retired by Seal Dragons, called a Masquerade, who was ALSO retired, and then nothing was found from that.

Haruka was a bit sad.... But Seifer got a pretty good deal from it. With less rear guards, he had less chance of being taken out. He targeted the other rear-guard Masquerade and promptly dispatched him from the field, leaving Haruka with nothing in terms of units.

Turn 3 hit, and everything went south for Seifer however. Haruka rode into Mordred Phantom, Seifer's own avatar, and got hit with a critical and a draw trigger. Haruka's hand grew and put Seifer at five damage.

Next turn, Weathercloth came out to Twin Drive a perfect guard, and well, not a trigger. Haruka took his fourth damage and guarded out the final attack leaving him to his Break ride turn. Haruka opened with a copy of Raging Form Dragon in his hand, but he also got one off of a draw trigger meaning he had access to the Persona Superior ride. He did exactly that. After superior calling Blaster Dark Revenger and taking down an intercept, he got his attacks off. The first attack was perfect guarded, meaning it was a good thing the Limit Break was now available to him. Upon Superior Riding, he was then presented with a one pass opportunity. He did exactly that, checking a draw trigger first thing, leading Seifer to his sixth damage.

Two criticals and two draw triggers, to Seifer's non-existent trigger checks. That felt wrong...

"Well man... That, eh... That was fun. Thanks for letting me borrow the deck. Hopefully next time your Seal Dragons are a bit kinder on the triggers." Haruka weakly smiled, admitting to the immense sack he got in that fight.

"Thanks for the fight though. I appreciated it. Something about those cards though..." Haruka cut himself off as he noticed the subtle applause in the cafe. Seems a lot of people had come to watch it. Haruka stood and bowed lightly, before handing Seifer back the deck and case and promptly hopping off stage with Blaster Dark, the sword, not the card, in hand.

"Hahh... That was fun." Haruka muttered to himself, before rejoining the crowd and waving to Tsubasa.

"Glad you could make it, Tsu. Enjoy the fight?" Haruka also noticed Neo came into the shop. Time to get him ready for this.

"N-Neo, over here! Come on, you need to get in character!" Haruka pointed towards the back of the cafe where the costume area was. "Pick whatever you like, they're all pretty nice." Haruka smiled and gave him a thumbs-up. "Err, don't wear the Dorint one though.... Kind of a tight fit."

"Manager-san, what was that concert that you told me that I would be having a week ago?" Isabella was on her phone, scratching her head a little. She's been busy taking photos and getting her photo taken by many fans and she's only now gotten a break.
"The culture festival? Oh I'm having that HERE?" She kind of didn't know, but all she needed was a proper set up which was most likely taken care of as well a costume which the Cardfight Club already got prepared.
"Haha yeah I totally got a costume ready, I was just joking... acting like I didn't know!"

Please spare me Manager-san.

Isabella was able to at last watch the tail end of Haruka and Sliffer's fight and give them an applause. Kewl. She would have to go ahead and enter backstage in a bit, but until then she decided to relax with the club. Concert today, fireworks tomorrow. What a nice festival.

After watching the fight, Neu got pretty pumped up, especially when it came to cosplayers. She now had the uncontrollable desire to beat one up, and since Tsubasa wasn't really wearing cosplay, she didn't consider him a target. "Time to beat up a cosplayer," she said as she thought about beating up a cosplayer.

"Anyone want to Cardfight?" She asked the general question.

Darren had switched costumes during the fight. He was now dressed as Dimensional Robo, Kaizard. It was a bit more slick and slim so that he could actually move within it.The fight got him pumped up for battle as well, grinning as he heard Neu call out a challenge. He still didn't like her, but if she was a fighter, he could raise up to the challenge at least.

"I'll take you on!" he called out as he moved towards the fight area where everyone was. "I am the Hero of Justice, Dimensional Robo, Kaizard! I will accept your challenge, but don't expect an easy battle." He seemed to be getting into the costume a bit, even acting out the role.

Neo noticed Haruka calling to him and went into the dressing room and looked at all he costumes. Then he found the one he saw fit.

"Eradicator, Vowing Sword Dragon! Rawr!" Neo said coming out of the dressing room.

Neo then tried to walk in his costume without breaking anything around him.

Haruka was honestly pretty excited everyone wanted to fight now. Looks like Seifer and Haruka's roundabout got other people excited for fights, namely Neu and er, Kaizard? Must be Darren, considering it's a Dimensional Robo unit.

Haruka saw Neo step out of the back area in a giant dragon costume, specifically Vowing Sword Dragon. He looked ridiculous in that bulky get up, but in all honesty, anyone that wasn't wearing a slim-fit knight get-up, was wearing something so big and bulky it tended to just be more clunky than attractive. Still, costume is costume, and Neo was rocking it well enough.

"Nice one Neo! Just don't break anything else, okay?" Not much to break. Plastic and Styrofoam. But still, he had to be careful regardless.

Seifer had lost, against his own deck. It felt... Weird. And yet, for some reason, Blaster Dark seemed to suit Haruka. That thought was weird to but oh well. Taking his cards back and settling everything back into their cases he thought for a few moments before stretching, and looking around. He saw Tsubasa show up to, so it was kind of cool. Neu as well. That brought back the memory of last night though.

Noel sighed, finally everything started slowing down. Taking orders wasn't easy. Not one bit. Memorizing every single person and their own order was tough even for her. She still couldn't believe how quickly she was able to juggle customers around from taking an order and bringing one all at the same time. What made her also feel strange was how normal she felt wearing the Ashlei outfit. That also brought on compliments from customers of how much she looked like Ashlei with the difference being the hair color. Noel didn't know how to feel about being compared to an imaginary character from a card game even though lately the belief of Vanguard units being imaginary was slowly changing. Also, she couldn't help the fact that someone was watching her every move as she moved around and taking orders.

"Hey Seifer, did you notice anything strange? I was feeling like I was being watched all day today. Was kinda creepy if you ask me." The Ashlei cosplayer walked up to her brother concerned. Even though she can defend herself, she still felt concerned mixed with a bit of scared emotions.

That was when she saw Darren had changed into Kaizard which was pretty interesting. Not many can pull off robot cosplays and be comfortable in it. He also seemed like he is going to start a cardfight with someone. It would be fun to watch now that she can take some time to rest

"It was probably the guy that started laughing at my cosplay. ...Hm ya know what." Seifer left for a moment, going into the back room before coming out, dressed differently now. Actually... Looking at him, you'd actually think he was a real unit. He was now dressed as Mordred Phantom, blade and everything, minus the dark colored skin, favoring the way the cape and armor felt over the wings and tail of his previous costume. He'd found Mordred's wig so it had the pointy elf ears as well. As he strode back up beside his sister, he stared at the robot cosplayer, who he could only assume was Darren. Seriously though, looking at Seifer you'd think he really was Mordred phantom, minus the actually white skin. His eyes were a dull crimson though. ...Wait... there weren't any contacts in the back.

It was clear that Seifer and Haruka's intense fight, really helped pump up people, Neu immediately accepted Darren's challenge as he changed his costume to Kaizard to suit his deck in a way. It was really a sight to be happy for, as everyone was free of any worry and just focused on enjoying themselves.

He congratulated Haruka on the well fought game and gave a nod and wave to Darren as sort of a greeting to them, as he seemed like he was getting busier by the minute to have a full conversation, though in the meantime he decided that it would be best to let Neu, handle him for now. He saw Noel and Seifer chatting so he thought that he'd greet them as well, "Hey guys, glad you both could make it." he said, smiling.

Though at the mention of Neo by Haruka, Tsubasa immediately turned around in disbelief and in concern, though his concerns were immediately erased when he saw what Neo was doing, it seemed like he was enjoying himself with the Vowing costume so Tsubasa turned his attention back to Seifer,"Decided to go back to Mordred bro?" he asked.

Hazama walks throug the door of the regional hall. He had heard about a festival occuring here for the next two days. Though he didnt seem to be the kind of person to come to a festival, he thought that he could reach outside of the box and maybe have some fun once in his life.

When he walked in he saw pretty much all cardfighters. Even some went all out and did some cosplay. Hazama was never into cosplay. To much work to make a costume and he just wanted to be himself, not some chatacter. He walks around to find out what kind of decks were being played. He saw vast amounts of Kagero, Shadow Paladin, and Royal Paladin. Maybe they missed their old clan so much, they wanted to use it again.

While walking down the aisle seperated by two tables, he saw Baky and his friends down quite a bit. He decided to watch from the off sidelines and see what was going down.

After winning the fight against the robot cosplayer using her blonde hunk of a man named Ezel, she decided to go back to her not blonde, but still a sort of hunk of a man named Tsubasa to check on how he was doing "Hey Tsu-bb how you doin'? Darren smiled at the battle. He lost but he had fun and it wasn't an easy fight either way you look at it. The double critical was his bane but that was Vanguard, fun because it was so unpredictable. He walked back to where Noel and Seifer was, noticing he changed. "Switched from the dragon, Sleifer? Well you match your sis this way."

He gave a small sigh as he placed his hand on his chest, thinking about the Dimensional Robos more. This deck felt right and the Great Daiyusha helped him a lot, but as far as these units went, he still felt like he could do a little better, but there were no other Dimensional Robos even in existance. Not that it took away from the fun of the game, so it didn't matter.

"The outfit was a bit stuffy and hard to move around in with the tail and wings." he admitted. He liked the outfit but it just made running around harder. "Gotta admit though man, this looks really good on me." he gave a grin before waving to Neu. "Hey there, been a while. Little over a year yeah?" he replied, sticking the end of the Mordred cosplay sword into the ground and putting his hands on the bottom of the hilt. "And yeah Darren, like I said, I just kinda couldn't move around in the Dragonic Overlord costume."

Satoshi stepped into the Regional Hall to see what all the commotion was about. Apparently some kind of culture festival was going on? Wearing his long white coat once more, he didn't really fit in with the rest of the people there, but nevertheless the point of a festival was to have a good time, and it didn't really matter how you looked to have a good time in the first place.

As he walked around though, his left hand felt as though it was burning a little. The marks were probably rubbing against his coat. Although, it was a rhythmic pulsing kind of burn...strange.

He noticed a few people from the Cardfight Club in costume. "Seems like they went pretty all out..." he muttered, trying to stop the pulsing in his marked hand.

Haruka approached the group suddenly congregating in the midst of the cafe. Haruka stood next to him in his Blaster Dark uniform, assuming the same position. If people didn't know any better, they really could pass for the units from Shadow Paladins if they wanted to. 10/10 on them for looking the part.

"Hey guys, sorry for showing a bit late. Had to make sure the place stayed clean and all. People don't pick up trash or anything so..."

Haruka had been on cleaning duty.

"Look nice Seifer. We match man. Make sure you call me when you Break Ride, I got this." Haruka made a Vanguard funny, but people probably were just going to laugh at him, not the joke. But he liked it anyways. The aesthetic worked.

"By the way, thanks again to everyone coming out and making it a success. I appreciate it." He gave a grin, nodding, then resumed the dark glint and slight scowl. Gotta make that costume work it.

It seemed the café was closing.  The previous cardfights had gotten him rather excited, so Cero decided to end his day with a cardfight.  Standing up, he turned to the group hosting this booth, and pointed, shouting, "I, Cero Kirguis, Europe's King of Vanguard will honour one of you with a cardfight!"  It didn't matter to him who really accepted his challenge, though he was curious to see the abilities of the woman in the Ashlei costume in particular.  Cero pulled out a deck, different from his usual one, in preparation for whoever accepted his challenge.

Seifer glanced over at Haruka who stood beside him in the same manner he was standing. Good show, they really looked like the Revengers they were cosplaying. "Ten out of ten yeah? It's funny. Looks right on us." he laughed before glancing over at his sister. Actually this grouping of Paladin cosplays felt... Familiar. Like he'd done this before. Was it just his imagination? Oh well. In any case the loud mouth laughing man from before had challenged someone... anyone it seemed... to a cardfight. Seifer himself wasn't interested, and he had been creeping on Noel kind of but... Oh well.

"The concert will be starting in 15 minutes." An announcement rang across the hall.

It was just a notice, not that the attendees had to do much of anything, but stand there an do their thing since the stage would be visible from anywhere in the hall.

Isabella wore a half black and half white Reit costume. She was looking like MonoPuma from Rangan Donpa, but she thought it looked really nice. Pig tails are great.

He knew he was late for the cultural festival. There were a few things he had to take care of involving the underground and it took longer then he expected. Traffic was even worse when he left for the regional hall. When he arrived he hastily parked the Oblivion at the car park and quickly went to the back room to pick out a costume.

Hikaru had picked out the Original Saver, Zero costume. Minus the tight shirt, it seemed to be accurate. Even the sword comes with the costume. He had to admit he looked good with this and he's loving the silky cape. Fit for a king.

He went to the cafe section of the regional to find the others and he sees a man he never met challenging one of them to a cardfight.

Noel suddenly started to yawn. She didn't realize how late it got. Order after order after order made time fly by so fast. The after hour cardfights gave the night a nice little finish since they were exciting to watch. Haruka and Seifer matched so well that they actually look like the real deal. All what was left was for someone to cosplay as Dorint and the "free" break ride combo into Blaster Dark in front or behind of a Dorint would of been reenacted in cosplay form. Days like these are priceless. Being together with friends, working together and finally sharing some relaxing moments after a good day of work is what makes the "normal" life worth living in. No way would this type of thing would ever happened if she were to stay home or be sent to a high end school that only cared about strict studying.

The Ashlei cosplayer had a warm smile with a small tear going down her face since. No matter how many times I think about it or say it to myself, I wish this can last forever...

Her dreams were more vivid then ever lately which scared her and felt that this peace and scene of all her friends together having fun could be at risk. Noel has no clue why but it's a strange feeling that she can't shake off. For now, she just wants to focus on what is happening in front of her, and that is a peaceful time right now. That was when Noel started thinking about all her cardfights with everyone thus far and realized something, she has yet to cardfight Hana and Tsubasa. Seeing as Hana is the National Champion, Noel wants to save her for last so she pulls out her phone and sends Tsubasa a text.

"I realized we never had that cardfight. We were probably busy lately but I don't want that as an excuse anymore, let's have a cardfight tomorrow. I am curious as to what is your clan and how strong I am compared to you."

Strength. Deep down, that was still Noel's ambition. A hunger for power that she inherited from her father. When used correctly, the desire for strength can benefit those you care about but when used for self pleasure, that is when you get people like Noel's father. A ruthless and merciless person who only cares about themselves, thinks weakness is a sin, and will step on those who are weaker. That is something Noel doesn't want to become no matter what.

As the night comes to a close, Noel says good bye to everyone and goes back to her hotel room so she can have a good rest for the next day ahead of her. That was, however, until the guy who laughed at Seifer came up out of nowhere and challenge anyone from the Cardfight Club into a cardfight. This was her chance to find out why he was staring at her. "Seems like I will then, I noticed you staring at me during the day so I want to know why." She pulled out her deck, ready to cardfight.

Darren +1
Haruka +1
Seifer +1
Tsubasa +1

Haruka greeted Hikaru as well. The Underground King must be having a field day in costume at a Vanguard Cafe.

"Hikaru, what's up man! Glad to have you here. A little late, sure, but it's good to have you." Haruka maintained his position as Blaster Dark Revenger, but something felt weird to him.

Right. Something felt right. He never really used Shadow Paladin before, aside from that one fight, but he seemed to have found himself with a small connection to them, just like the one he had established to Overlord. Luckily he couldn't hear them. Raging Form would probably just scream a lot since he lost his mind. Not too fun.

Haruka slightly twisted the sword on the ground, as if to open a rift and allow a unit to be sent to Hades. It was a subtle, but he was amused by it nonetheless.

"Hmm? Oh, a challenge?" Haruka contemplated accepting it himself, but he'd have to borrow Seifer's deck again for the whole bit. And to be honest, he wasn't exactly ready to fight Cero at the moment. That'd be a lot of yelling and Haruka had already been dealing with a noisy cafe since earlier in the morning. Plus, a concert was happening soon, and there was no way he intended to miss that. He already was hype for that.

Just kidding, Noel accepted that fight. Haruka turned to Seifer to compliment his getup once more.

"Man you look way too realistic. Even the eyes are..." Haruka's smile turned to a dull, vacant expression. Now he REALLY looked like Blaster Dark. The thing with costume production of this scale is contacts are a no-no, since it isn't a choreographed event or anything and doesn't allow trained professionals or anything, so you can't use lenses from a company. And as far as Haruka knew, Seifer didn't wear contacts.

"Seifer... you okay, man?" Haruka grabbed his shoulder, turning him away from everybody and spoke to him.

"Your. Uhm. Eyes."

The brunette tilted his head at Haruka for a moment. What did he mean about his eyes? "What about them?" he whispered, back, turning with the other male. Actually now he was a little freaked out. Was there something in his eyes? Did he pop a blood vessel? Was there some kind of infection? Actually the more he thought about that now, he started freaking out a little more. Well, crap. Now he's afraid of having to go to the hospital. He doesn't like hospitals.

Darren had heard that a concert was going to start soon. He also realized that it was getting late so the cafe wouldn't be opened long. He went back and changed into normal clothes, keeping the Kaizard suit in a place he could find it later. He honestly hadn't seen it before. He came back, standing next to Seifer as he saw Noel was fighting. Noel told him she had completed her deck to how it use to be but he never got to see it in action since that day before they both arrived to this town. He was eager to see it in action after all that time.

Haruka saw worry coat Seifer's face. Okay, Haruka, be a bit more clear this time.

"Your irises, they're red." Haruka clicked his tongue, raising his eyebrow and checking around to see who was watching. What was going on? Haruka had no idea. In fact he honestly was completely lost to what had happened. Maybe a chroma disorder of the iris?

Haruka pinched the bridge of his nose in distress.

"Okay, okay, it looks weird but you can play it off. There's a mirror in the back if you wanna look, but I'm pretty sure you can get away with it. Say they're lenses you brought from home maybe? I don't know. Just try to keep people from freaking out or something." Haruka turned back to watch the fight and await the concert. He was very excited to see Hana perform again. Last time was a private performance at her penthouse and that was an awkward time for him. At the time it was totally amazing but thinking about it now, yeah, awkward. Times Square came to mind too, when she did a couple of numbers.

That didn't take away from the energy between Cero and Noel's fight. Equally as entertaining.

Cero was confused what she meant by staring at him, and put off the question for now, saying, "I'll tell you if you manage to defeat me."  The deck Cero was using was a bit of a blast from the past, it was a Liberator deck focused on Garmore, doges included as a throwback to his deck from over a year ago.  However, this cardfight did not go well for him.  His opponent, who he didn't know the name of, was actually talented with Jewel Knights, being able to manipulate the field to her full advantage, allowing her to maximize the pressure her Vanguard carried.

"King of All Beasts, Shine your brilliant soul upon the battlefield once again and inspire the world to reach new heights!"  This was the chant that accompanied the arrival of his old friend, and embodied Cero's current beliefs in strength.  Perhaps this would bring people with more potential to the training area, since it was being said in a public place.

Cero's field was empty besides Cheer-up trumpeter for several turns, but as soon as he reached Limit Break, he exploded with Garmore in combo with Cheer-Up to create a full field...  That had one booster.  The topdeck calls were all Grade 3s, except for a Dorgal and a Bruno, which were the last 2.  Although Cero was able to open up his field with Garmore, it wasn't enough to break through his opponent's defenses.  Cero, having seen only 3 triggers throughout the whole game, was left to defend a breakride turn with a hand of Grade 3s and 5000 shields.  Lacking anything close to a usable defense, Cero was defeated that turn after barely blocking a three-critical Salome.

Holding true to his word, he said simply, "I was curious about your abilities as a cardfighter," after taking the sixth damage.  He turned and began to walk away, shouting back, "If you want to see my true power, come to the Cardfight Training Area.  Depending on how you hold up there, I may help you become even stronger than you are now."  And with that, Cero left the regional hall behind, his curiosity satisfied.

Tsubasa patted Neu on the head for the impressive fight that she had, as he turned to see Seifer and Haruka conversating, he was getting excited for the concert that Hana was preparing but until then, he wanted to see what was happening. As he got closer and began to overhear them before he arrived face to face with them, he noticed Seifer's eyes had changed..they were a shade of crimson now..

"...That aura gave me...Brennius..and I remember Seifer had a crimson aura about him last night...could it be?" he thought.

"..What happened to your eyes man?" he asked, directing his question to Seifer.

Darren was amazed to see his friend do so well with the deck. It was like she had been using it the entire time. As he was about to congratulate her on the match, he heard the male, Cero, mention a Cardfight Training Area. He wondered if that might help him as well. Something for him to think about another time. For now, he was happy for his friend, also tired. It had been a long day so he was tired.

Darren was about to gather his things before he heard two people mention Seifer's eyes. Was there something wrong with them. He looked for a moment, blinking as he saw they were red. His were also red so it was an odd coincidence.

The whole day was fun, a calm before the storm. That's what it truly was. For everyone, it was just an ordinary festival. In her eyes, this was fate's final laugh, giving her and her friends their final meal before their execution. The night prior, she found that her lover had been afflicted by a curse from the enemy, giving her a promise to end it all and free her. Upon waking up in the morning, a large-scale council was called just for all the nations to agree that they would have no qualms in dying in the battlefield. Hana really tried her best to make this day as cheerful as possible, and as an idol she will continue to do so despite all of her mixed emotions. There was something that Mi-hime said that broke her heart as well.

"She said that she's gotten nowhere in her idol career... haha..." Hana laughed to herself at the thought. Yet here she was enjoying her life... Even now it's all so unfair.

"Isabella Hope, the stage is ready." Upon hearing the call, she rushed to position, but hesitated for a moment.

The stage raised high, making it visible from anywhere around the regional hall. She waved at the crowd as the room's lights dimmed and the spotlights along the stage made the festival glow in all sorts of different colors. The crowd cheered as Isabella Hope stepped forward and began to greet them all. The spotlight came down heavily on her shoulders. She felt as if she didn't deserve to sing like this, as if it was unfair to her lover who didn't have the same opportunity yet deserved it just as much.

"Hana..." Reit muttered within her mind.

"R-Reit I just... want to sing with her... with Mi-hime.." Hana begged. A light lit up within her mind, and suddenly for a split second she felt another presence on stage. A warm one, that held her in an embrace that said, "I'm here..."

"Hana..." Reit said again.

She was alerted that there was a problem with the microphone, that another voice was coming through it without a known source. Almost screaming at the sound crew, she turned away from the microphone and frantically told them to let it through. Isabella lost her train of thought as to how to greet the crowd here. She said simple words.

"I'll sing my heart out."

When the song played on, the weird glitch in the microphone made it sound as if there was a second singer with Isabella. It was a duet.

"Love is War" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FD38YA9-mHo)

- Lyrics to linked ver. and the one I put are different because there are two different versions of the song-

The agitation with no release. The weight of this love

In the blue sky, lights reflects on particles
The sunsets, from the weakening light comes the mechanical sounds

Ah, the world is falling apart, but even so, I still love you
I understand that completely. What should I do
To make you understand this secret code
I am such a fool…

I will...

Protect you, this is a war
There is no way I will watch you get hurt
A suffocating love, that is a sin
I will let you know my affection for you

I tried to yell out, but this voice is weak
No matter how much I raise my voice, It probably still won't reach you

Ah, before I realize it, the dawn is already coming. Time, please stop
I cannot make you understand my feeling, what can I do
How should I proceed

I can see you who I cannot reach

Therefore...

I will protect you, this is a war
Whatever it takes, there is no time to choose means
In order to let you understand the extend of my love
I will protect you with all my might

Prepare for the final blow
The battle is not yet over
Love is war
Until this song reaches you

Tsubasa's focus was placed on Seifer and his situation, but the musical performance from Hana really entranced him with it's style. Nevertheless one thing stood out, Neo had passed by Tsubasa, in that instant he recalled his dream...losing his friend was not something he wanted.

Not moving from his place that much he simply laid his hand on Neo's shoulder,"How are you holding up my friend?" he asked.

The concert was definitely something else. Haruka even rested his sword slightly, just to keep his focus on the concert. It was a whole new experience of it's own. Haruka had been at Hana's first concert, but this was something totally different. Despite being a girl he knows and trusts, he was still starstruck by the woman as her song rang throughout the hall of the festival. It felt totally mesmerizing, bewitching even.

His smile was great and big, totally out of character for once, but he was most definitely was excited. That song spoke volumes to Haruka in different ways... Love is War. Something new about it inspired Haruka, as it was a strange but valid idea. The lyrics were altogether wholesome and he felt as if it tied together nicely, but more importantly, the sound rang out perfectly off the acoustics.

Too perfectly...

Was there more than one singer...?

Hypnotized, for sure.

When the song ended, he was one of the first people in the entire building to start applauding the performance, cheering and dropping Blaster Dark for a moment.

After the noise settled, he stretched, looking at Seifer, still a bit worried about the whole red-eye thing... It reminded him of how Haruka's eyes sort of changed, but not like this. They were normally green, often referred to as "dull emeralds", without a shine. Ever since New York, when Sera started showing up more often, he went pretty much full albino or something, due to the melanin being drained from his body. Speaking of Sera...

This event is noisy. Why are we still here?

Sera had been complaining all day on and off about the event. He didn't like seeing all the cheery people around. Haruka being happy made Sera happy to a degree, but he was tired and wanted rest, whilst Haruka was still fired up to the max.

"Sorry man... we'll be home before you know it, just enjoy the night."

Fine.

While serving the quest in the vanguard cafe he came across Tsubasa and Neu talking to Seifer. While the costume was awesome to say the least. The costume made it somewhat made it difficult to move in. The visor didn't help at all. He takes off the large visor and places it on the hilt of his rubber blade. He walks over to Tsubasa seeing all the quests were occupied with the concert and eating.

The song caught Neu on a whole different level. Love truly was war, and Princess conveyed it greatly with her voice as well as the tone that she sang it with. It gave Neu shots of deja vu and memories returned to her. Like how she literally really got to know her love during a war as she tried to seal away everything that he loved and put it under her merciless control.

"Hi Hikaru."

Darren listened to the music, thinking that Hana had a very good voice. He thought she would be good to do it more often until he reminded himself she was an idol. It must be the kind of thing she does all the time, he thought. He stretched a bit, now he really was about ready to go. That is, until he saw Neo and Tsubasa. Neo specifically. He could see the look in his eyes from here and the cold stare was more than he could ignore. Something felt wrong.

He wasn't really captivated by the song as most people here were. Maybe because he never fell in love with anyone or the fact he sealed all the love he had away. He did seem to find something strange with Neo just by the expression of his face. Never less he went to say hi.

"Hello there Neu, Tsubasa and Neo."

Hikaru can feel the tension between them just from Neo's remark. As a king he always had to break the tension among his underlings. This is no different.

"Say Neu, its been a while since we fought. How about a cardfight.

As the song came to a close Tsubasa was getting more and more entranced as the lyrics fit his situation with Neu on different levels, he could tell that she enjoyed it herself as well. He was greeted by Hikaru as well, but because of Neo's response he simply waved to him, letting him know that he will get back to him in a sec, and left Neu to speak with him for now.

Neo seemed in a good state, until he gave Tsubasa that stare...Tsubasa always felt Neo's aura as a passionate and electrifying force, he never expected such a cold aura to emanate from his eyes ..even though he seemed normal

"...Why do I ask..." he said, thinking about the question. He did not want to seem like he is over thinking the situation in any way but he also wanted his friend to be safe, so he allowed his aura to do some talking with him..at that moment his body was surrounded by a bluish aura similar to what happened at Psy except it was toned down so that attention could not shift over to him.

"I ask because I want to make sure that you are not in danger...regardless of what happened last night, I will be there if you need me..my friend" he said, his eyes filled with both care and determination as his aura began to slowly fade away.

Just then a red evil aura surrounded Neo and matched Tsubasa's blue flame aura.

"Everything is fine" Neo said.

Neo then took out his deck with his new black deck case and the aura appeared there as well

"Everything is just fine.." He said

Neo then put his deck away and the aura disappeared.

Well more people noticed his eyes, but well... Nothing to it but to go with it. "I'll just have to make sure to be careful. In any case... That's weird... My eyes are normally blue." he spoke softly to both Tsubasa and Haruka, but things seemed to be focused now on Neo. That's fine. And then the song, it was nice as he listened to it. Made him wish Rosalia was here more than ever so she could enjoy it as well. Either way, it seemed Neo was fine. Though last night's events at Psy Shop did indeed happen. Everything seemed fine. Until that happened. Well then. That escalated quickly.

A chill moved up Darren's spine from the response. Even he had heard it. Neo didn't seem like the type to turn down a fight and yet it just happened. It showed that you couldn't judge a book by its cover even more than the Camping Trip did. He gave a sigh as he wondered what that feeling was. Did something happen to him?

Now Darren had to go. He moved to the door and tried to go out without being seen, but he wasn't doing it to go home and sleep. He needed to shake this feeling, and looking over his Vanguard deck was the best way to do that.

"...That aura..." he could not believe his eyes, this time it was clear something had happened. This time around Neo was not up for a fight and Tsubasa has no clue wht the extent of the effects will be, so he was frozen.

If anything he was more concerned about Neu and his friends, inside him a voice cried out Neo, pleading for him to change this apparent path,"..No...DON'T DO THIS..." but it could not be audible. Tsubasa had began to relive the feeling of loss, but this time he decided that no matter what happens he will fix the situation. He quickly grabbed Neu gently and gestured for her to leave with him, he mainly wanted her to be safe,"II appreciate today guys.." he said, as they both made their way out of the hall and started on their path home.

Darren yawned again as he had spend all of last night doing Image Training and looking over his deck. The chill that Neo gave him caused him to second guess what he should be doing. He knew he wasn't bad or anything since he had been told more often than not that he was very skilled with Dimensional Robos, but that only made him wonder if his clan was able to keep up with what others around him were doing.

Now that he had a break, Darren was actually looking around at everything in the Culture Festival and he was impressed at how well it all turned out. It made him happy to see that everyone in the school had worked hard to make this and it was fairly professional in what it wanted to do. As he was walking, he saw Hana, smiling as he went to where she was. "Hey there!" he called out. "Nice show yesterday. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say it then."

Haruka returned for Day 2 of the culture festival. Luckily today was a break day for them, which means they didn't have to get stuffed into costumes and serve anymore, they were free to roam about and enjoy the festival normally. Haruka was excited to see his friends as usual, considering other than school, they don't get to talk all the time. Sort of a sad realization that everyone would be graduating soon, as this was their senior year...

Speaking of graduates, Haruka hasn't seen Yukino in nearly three days now, ever since he left her house that one morning for the park and then work, she has just been absent again. It felt like a hole burrowing again, but he'd just have to endure for the meantime. Maybe she was preparing? Maybe she just didn't like festivals. Maybe he could just text her to come out....

"hey, festival was a huge success yesterday! shouldve seen it. me and seifer matched, he was mordred and i was blaster dark, pretty nicee. anyways, you should come along today! we rnt working so u can just look at stuff and play games if you want. -haru <3"

First time he ever put a heart at the end of the tag line. Subtle.

First stop, Dump the Rapper... Drake better still be there. Haruka has a mean fastball.

"Hey Darobo" Isabella waved as she noticed him and his greeting. "Well I didn't really get a chance to roam around after it, but thanks." She was in the mood for some fights for the rest of the day. While she still wanted to enjoy herself, the close of the festival was coming quickly and tomorrow would be when the battle would begin. The anticipation made her want to go do training in order to prepare. She had faith in her Bermuda Triangle, but at the same time she really does wonder just how far they could go.

There was nowhere in particular that she had planned, but the spaghetti over at that one would only tempt her to eat more. "The best thing to do is just practice and get stronger on your own." Well, that was the right thing to do. Falling into enemy hands for that weird power is also an option, but too many things are unknown at the moment.

Darren walked with her, mostly to continue the conversation. "I know that, and I was doing that last night," he said to her. "But Neo wasn't his energetic self... He had this really dark feel to him and... I just wish I could connect to my units like you can." He smiled lightly at the thought of it, but at the same time, it felt more like a dream than a possibility.

"Connecting to your units is just being able to fight with them. Not like it's necessary to have a special power to do so." She shrugged it off along with the stuff regarding Neo. She'll just have to deal with him when she saw him and that would be later after this relaxation period... well sort of. This is going to be a bigger mess than the War of Liberation it seems.

Darren thought about it, somehow feeling like there was more to it. It could be his own paranoia though or his doubt. He shook it off lightly and said, "Maybe you're right. Anyway, what are you gonna look to do now? You mentioned wanting to fight, right?"

Haruka ate a lot that day. A lot.

Man, he was just hungry for that pineapple.

After about twenty minutes of devouring a food stand consisting of pineapple friendly products, Haruka proceeded to walk towards the main hall of the event. It was brisk outside even, and the evening was coming soon. Maybe if he wasn't gonna be working, he should just head home. Things were getting awfully fuzzy anyways... Too much pineapple.

"Hey Sera, you're feeling this too righ----" Haruka slumped against a wall, a bit dizzier than before, evoking a rather large yawn. He was even starting to sweat up a bit, as if he got hit with a fever all of a sudden. Maybe something infected him last night? Haruka wasn't sure... Sera wasn't responding either. Haruka vaguely heard him for a second as his tailbone finally smacked against the floor of the corridor he had found himself in.

"Sleep well, Haruka. I'll ta-- care -- --- -verythi-- wi-- -- --ight---"

Black out.

"Sleep well, Haruka. I'll take care of you. Everything will be alright."

Haruka's once resting body sprang to life just moments after passing out. It took only a moment for him to realize that he was still in the obnoxiously noisy Regional Hall from last night. Not only was it getting late, but he was starting to starve a bit. Pineapple wasn't exactly the most appetizing thing... Maybe something sweet.

"Guh... At least dress better next time." He scolded himself on his choice of wear, and started heading out of the Regional Hall and anywhere else that wasn't so crowded or at least a bit more peaceful. It didn't even have to be secluded, just not three hundred people within retina vision at all times. He was gone in an instant, even just moving at walking speed.

"I don't remember mentioning that out loud" She scratched her head, wondering where he got that from. A fight wouldn't hurt anyone though so there wasn't really any need to have one she supposed. "If you want to then I don't mind, sure."

It was probably Darren wanting to fight more than anything but he felt that was something that she wanted for some reason. He smiled lightly and said, "Yeah, let's go a round. Maybe it'll help the both of us." He pulled out his deck. He had been working on it a bit and hoped it was more able to keep up with her now.

The game went as usual for Isabella, with the standard route of either riding Iori or Mer first, then finishing off with Reit's restand ability. She was pushed more than usual with Daikaiser's limit break, having to guard to make it enough for to Grade 3 checks. In both cases it was the right choice to do so as one grade 3 usually showed up, but not another. All in all, Darren did well was getting closer to becoming better with his Dimension Police deck in Isabella's eyes. This also gave her the confidence to deal with Neo later.

"Naisu faito." She said the usual suffix, putting away her deck back into its box.

Darren smiled at the match. Even though he lost, he pushed her farther than normal and tore through the enormous hand that she had made for herself. It was clear she was holding nothing back and he did well. It gave him confidence as well, making him feel like he really was getting better.

"It was a good one," he said to her as he put his deck away. "I still haven't caught up to you, but I feel like I'm getting better. That's enough to keep having fun with it." Darren always fought to grow and see how far he could go as a fighter. Seeing active improvement kept him going, win or lose. Now he had that.

"That's good." She nodded.

The fight was fun as always with Darobo. His units rely a lot on coming back and winning from the heat of the moment unlike hers which gradually wears the opponent down. Strange opposites, but the match up boils down always being closer than it is. After the fight, she decided to move around and try a few more booths around the area. After a bit, she would have to leave the festival and maybe call it a day.

Darren went in a different direction, going off on his own. He saw someone sitting at a table. He blinked as he seemed to be there alone with a Vanguard deck in hand. His face was covered so he couldn't tell who the person was. Feeling confident in his deck, he decided to challenge the person to a fight. He set his deck down with a grin.

"Wanna go a round?"

No words were spoken from the other side, just a unit set face down in the Vanguard circle on their side. Enough of an acceptance. Darren grinned as he was ready to fight.

In what seemed like an instant, Darren's damage was 6. He felt actual pain in his chest as the figure revealed a red blade that was on his back. It was covered by a cloak so Darren hadn't noticed before but now it was revealed. Darren held his chest as he fell to one knee. His body was engulfed in a black and red aura as he though, This feeling... Was this what Neo felt... It feels empty, but... strong... Darren kept himself from yelling out in pain. If anyone noticed this figure, they would feel what he was feeling now. He didn't want that.

Within moments, Darren stood, his red eyes had a slight glow for a moment as he gave a small grin. The figure was gone by the time Darren was back up. He looked at his deck, at Super Dimensional Robo, Goeagle. He held the two in his deck in his hand and ripped them right there. "There's no need for such heroes..." he muttered as he walked away.

He sits on the steps of the regional hall, shakily holding his cell phone.  A message quickly written and sent to Satoshi was sent for their meeting. He was the last target before he could finally find some rest; allow others to do some of his work for him. He was a weary soul, expending rapidly expanding amounts of life force, the original host's life force, in order to lock up the hearts of his comrades. Stabilize them, perhaps.

"Soon..." He rubs his thumb against the top knuckle of his hand, raggedly breathing. What was pale skin and white hair was now snow-leaden hair and skin void of melanin. The only reason he hasn't be instantly sunburned was due to the umbrella he brought to keep from rays.

The message was received. Satoshi showed up, wearing a darker coat than usual. This was all prepartory. According to Cheru, today was the day, and he had to look the part for it. A pair of sunglasses adorned the top of his head despite this long coat. Sure, the sun was a little brighter today, but it was almost as though he was looking to become a shady figure.

His hand had started to burn as he passed by numerous creepy figures with red marks on their faces and an eerie glow in their eyes. Was this what it meant to be locked away? Even so, these people weren't necessarily violent against each other, but had a stronger passion for Vanguard...strange, given what it usually meant for an evil power to rise. It was definitely creepy to observe from the outside, though.

Noticing Haruka on the steps, he gave a short wave and walked up. His friend looked paler than usual, as though something was definitely the matter.

"You called?" he asked, regarding the text.

Inside, Cheru was rubbing her hands together. "Alright, just a few moments, and..."

"It is good to meet with you again." He reached out his hand, just barely out of the shade of the umbrella. The clouds were piling over so it was fine, he wasn't getting particularly damaged or anything. A small smile like normal appeared, the kind he had more often than not. According to the higher-ups, this is the last target remaining in the area for Japan. What a strange coincidence the host body already had relations to them.

"Do me a favor and help me up, won't you?" He nodded to his slightly trembling hand. He stared at Satoshi at first, then up to his eyes specifically. There wasn't much to see in them other than some longing, or a wanting. There were things he wanted to leave behind, and new things he wanted to achieve. An interesting yet general motive.

Good enough.

"Sure." Satoshi gripped his hand with his own double-ringed marked one, pulling him up.

"Why exactly did you call me out, though?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Regional Hall

Gripping back, his smile formed largely. Not malevolently, if anything it was simply a friendly gesture. Saving somebody's innocence is a great deed after all, he should most definitely be commended for his efforts. Except there weren't many really to commend him other than himself in the end.

"Thank you for your help.. Ahhh." He stood up, shoulders relaxing.

"Allow me to return the favor."

Heart Lock.

The electricity that ran rampant the day before, twice, once was once again blowing through its circuits and blasting every nerve in his host's own body in order to achieve the goal he had set out from the beginning. If he wanted everything to be seen through perfectly, these are the bonds that had to be kept away from everybody. The red and black rings were steady signs of the mark, despite the others not having them. This was because the target system included reminders for him, should he have complete inability to remember his goal once infiltrating the host. He regained them rather quickly, now setting everything he had in mind, in motion.

"T-h-a-n-k y-o-u." The reverse shot out from his fingertips, travelling into Satoshi with exceeding speed. Several moments from now he'd easily be a pawn of the Lock. That's what he called it anyways, but it's not exactly like that. More of a free-willing agent, loyally doing the will of its master. Who is the master though? That's the real question.

He dropped back to his butt on the stairs, lying back for a moment as a slight giggle released from his lips. Then laughter. This was fun. It hurt. It made him exhausted. And he was already dozing off, falling asleep  to the stinging and burning of his own nervous system.

Satoshi was suddenly blasted with strong electrical impulses from Haruka's body, as though the boy wasn't human, but pure energy. It flowed through his veins and made the rings burn brightly as he convulsed a bit to the touch.

Cheru spoke once. "It's okay, dear...take a break."

And then he was gone.

In his place stood a man with hair hiding his changed eyes. He slipped his sunglasses over them. No need for people to suspect much at first glance. The only strange thing that remained were the rings, glowing at a steady pace on his hand.

As lame as a name as it was, Cherushi had his directive now, as it was provided by the impulse. The plan was to lock, lock with Cheru's avatar.

Star-vader, Nebula Lord Dragon.

Hikaru had come to regional hall in order to meet up with his generals. The slums were to obvious if anyone caught onto who they were, so it was decided that the regional hall was the best option. When he got into the hall, he discovered there were still some fighters left in the area. Naturally he added them to his growing empire. He's sitting on the ledge on the second floor where everything the hall's light touches is his empire. The doors of the regional hall opened as the wind rushed in.

The 4 generals of hell had arrived. They all stepped in as they looked for their king, Hikaru. Seeing as all four of them have arrived in one piece. Hikaru jumped from the ledge as he slowly descended and landing on his feet planted firmly on the floor.

"It seems you had managed to evade Neu. I take it that the operation wasn't a success." While he wasn't particularly angry, Hikaru is however disappointed on their rate of succession.

Ushio the most dangerous of the 4 kneeled in front of the Hikaru in failure. Accepting that they have failed on their mission on behalf of the empire.

"I'm deeply sorry for our failure King. I did not predict that Neu would be at New york." The other 3 went down on their knees, sprouting out forgiveness and regret. Hikaru sighed as he looked at his generals. "Just get up. I want you to go around the cities and look for any non reverse fighters are we clear." He turned to leave as the other stood up.

"...Redundant." said a voice in the echo of the hall.

The minute that voice was audible was the same moment that the lights went out, the voice was unrecognizable due to the voice changer but it sounded menacing nevertheless, the generals were able to hear the electric discharge sound as the lights disappeared. Now with the area completely blanketed in darkness the 4 generals tried to locate each other but to no immediate success, just then a slash of wind sent one of the general, Aoi, into a secluded area as the door slammed shut and locked behind him. As the lights reactivated the three generals regrouped and tried to make sure they were all present until they realized that Aoi was not with them.

"..Welcome young general.." said the voice.

The general Aoi regained his composure as he noticed the space around him. with the lights opened he could see everything around him, but he could not pinpoint where the voice was coming from. With a quick motion a black figure descended behind him, his aura driving fear into anyone near him, "Behind you.."

Darkness blackened his vision. He felt an intense force that smashed him into the other room as it locked. He composed himself as he tried to open the door in front of him while trying to track the voice.

"Behind you.." He heard it again and Aoi instantly moved to the side. "So what business do you have with me? Must think that i'm the strongest out of the bunch." The dark glint never escaped from his eyes as he looked at the mysterious figure.

The mysterious figure stood motionless at his opponent, began trying to validate Diablo's choice of him, when in fact it was by luck, he just simply sent the blast to one of the 4 moving figures.

"I am not here to converse with you, all I am here to do is end that darkness you hold"he said, pulling out his deck and preparing for a fight.

It was simply slow work Diablo just wanted to save the 4 generals so they can assist him in bringing back Hikaru and restoring order to the sitaution at hand, he had tossed his ties aside leaving only that of the Shadow Paladins as he tries to restore order.

The fight between the two was rather interesting, the two were interested in thinning out their decks to achieve a better check rate and reach certain units, regardless of how much Aoi pushed Diablo he was unable to push him to 6.

"It ends now!" said Diablo as he drew his card, sending a blast of wind throughout the area and pushing Aoi. "Blade of Phantasm, Break Ride,  Mordred Phantom!"

With Mordred and rukea columns he was able to push Aoi to the 6th damage without much trouble, "Not enough to force my best unit out...I hope you return to the righteous path general."

With that Diablo disappeared his sights aimed at the chaos happening at the shopping district, with Aoi unconscious and unreversed.

Aoi felt excruciating pain from the reverse coming out of him. He saw the man leave and after all that energy...he just collapsed.
