Hotels exist on every setting during the World Circuit

Field Status
Basically home while you're away from home.
RP is allowed here during the World Circuit Stages.
!

What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

The 12 hour flight, the bad airplane food, and the long wait for a Taxi was all so worth it as Neo and company finally landed safely in New York City. After giving the clerk his infomation, Neo ran to his hotel bed and flopped on the bed.

Finally something comfortable!" Neo said

Neo then unpacked all his things and took a quick shower. After showering and washing up he came out in his brand new clothes he got at the store before he left. It was a white tee shirt with jeans and red sneakers fresh out the box. Surprisingly Neo wasnt feeling any jetlag after the long flight. In fact he was full of energy and ready to go! But before he did anything else, he took out a picture of his parents, put a chain around it forming it into a necklace of some kind and put it around his neck.

"I wish you guys can see me now" Neo started to say. Im actually joining a Vanguard tournament. I know wherever you guys are you are watching. Im going to make you proud of me. I love you both"

After that Neo just layed on his bed waiting for everyone else to get settled in, so he decided to take one last look at his deck while waiting.

He was also waiting for Seifer to come and unpack as well since he was sharing a room with him.

"Man I hopehe didnt get lost again" Neo said to himself

After the flight, and a bothersome taxi wait and ride, Seifer made it to the hotel. Asking the clerk for the room number and a key the male made his way up to the room after being told someone would be sharing it with him. He actually knew who it was, but it didn't hurt to have someone else tell him that person was already here. As Seifer unlocked the door and pushed it open, he noticed Neo already on one of the beds, giving a casual wave as he entered and shut the door behind him. As the door auto locked, as most hotel doors do now a days, Seifer made his way to the other bed, dropping the duffel bag he was carrying and stretched. "Riding in a plane that long is almost as bad as riding on a crowded train... Not to mention my ears popping." he said, mostly to himself, but loud enough that Neo heard as well. The male was dressed in the outfit he'd had on at the shopping district, but this time there was a necklace with the head of a lion draped around his neck, the pendent piece itself stopping just above the center of his chest. "You ready for the tournament?" he asked Neo, sitting down on his own bed, looking through the deck he'd brought with him, which was still the Great Nature deck he'd used before.

*Huuugggghhhhh*

Hovering above the toilet seat of his Hotel room, Hikaru was purging the rest of his meal from his god forsaken 12-13 hour flight that he endured. He had been and in and out of sleep the entire flight and may have ate too much of the airplane food. He regrets that now. Feeling that was the last of his vomit he cleaned himself up and lay down on his bed.

I sure am ready!" Neo said to Seifer while putting his deck together and putting it in his deckcase.

"I wonder who I will face in the first round, Whoever it is im going to have a fun time no matter the result" Neo said

Hana opened the door to her hotel room and leaped onto the bed face-first. Its been awhile since she's slept anywhere that wasn't the manor. Its nice to sleep in hotels because they're less comfortable than her room and the service is better at her home. She enjoys the change of pace, and the worse a hotel is, the more she enjoys it. She checked he phone if the hotel provided free wi-fi service. No, it didn't. Best. Hotel. Ever.

"Mi-hime lets go!" She sat up on the bed, calling out to her roommate.

The trip to New York had been alright. Not the fastest but it was passable. The plane didn't vanish halfway through, or blow up so that was a plus.

Eventually she reached the hotel, and checked into her room. Hana was already there, sitting on the bed. 'At least I'm sharing a room with Hana, that's one good thing out of this trip' she thought. Hana was looking pretty happy all things considered, and seemed ready to go.

'Go? Go where?' she asked.

"Go?..."

She actually didn't think about where to actually go. It was more like she was just saying something from the filler book of idol catch phrases and that's what came out. What she probably meant to convey was that she wanted to relax in the room with Mi-hime for a bit, and strangely enough, that weird phrase came out. Hana took out her phone and paid for the wi-fi. Lame. She checked the map of the local area in order to figure out where they can actually go. In the meantime, she invite Mi-hime to come in the room and sit with her.

"Over here! I have to look around and look at the places we can go to."

Miyuki sat next to Hana on the bed, and looked at the map. 'New York seems quite big' she said. She generally didn't travel overseas that often, and never to America, so this seemed new to her. The only places she had really visited were parts of Asia, and Europe a few times when her family decided to go, but they hadn't gone in a few years.

'Well you can pick the place Hana, I don't mind~ Oh yeah, how was Sweden anyway? I haven't talked to you much since then.' Mostly because she had just stayed in her room doing nothing for most of the time since then, something that she needed to change. Besides, since Hana was back there was no reason at all to be sad.

"Swedenn...." She tried to flash back on what was there but instead she remembered that her mom had given both her and Mi-hime envelopes with Vanguard cards inside them.

Hana reached over to her back and moved her hands around to look feel for it. She managed to find it along one of the corners and pull it out. She handed it to Mi-hime, "My mom said these are cards for us as a sign of good luck and all! She says that she could've sworn that these were different cards before though..." Hana scratched her head. She leaned over towards Mi-hime and closed her eyes, "I guess it doesn't hurt to relax for a bit..."

'Oh yeah, we don't have to go outside' she quickly answered. 'It just sounded like you wanted to walk around after being stuck on the plane.' Miyuki took the envelope that Hana handed over. 'For good luck?' She put it aside, reminding herself to put in a safe place later.

Noticing Hana lean over to her, she moved closer again. 'Maybe she was more tired than I thought'. She relaxed as well, letting all the worry flow out of her. 'Yeah, we can just relax for a bit' Miyuki said.

After getting off the plane, Kurai headed straight to the hotel to lie down on the bed. He entered his room, placed his luggage to one side and jumped onto the bed. He was tired from the trip and was waiting to finally feel comfortable. He spread his deck out on the table. "Hmm, what to do, is if fine as it is... or do I need a back-up plan." He pulled a card out of his pocket and placed it into his deck. " This may work out, but I'm not sure"

Quote
That card may be of some use to you, assuming you can pull it off.

Amon's words were correct, this card had a major risk to it, one mess up and he would lose the game. Regardless he decided to add it to his deck, then he took a small nap.

That was probably one of the best experiences Haruka had in a long while. Flying was something Haruka loved, even if it was only in an airplane. The feeling of being off the ground for even a moment was exhilarating. The feeling was short lived, as they landed in New York all too soon.

He found himself in his hotel suite. Sitting on one of the two single beds, he took off his scarf and laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Later that day he'd be playing the first matches of the stage. To his chagrin, he had been seeded against Yukino. That was a fight that he didn't want to fight for at least a couple of rounds.

What a pain in the neck.

The bothersome bit went away after the adrenaline of realizing where he was kicked in. With a grin, he dashed into the hallway and snatched a soda from the vending machine. It worked for the meantime.

It was his first ever plane flight, or well, first ever any form of transport that aren't his own two feet that he was given by glorious evolution. Before he fell asleep on the plane for the rest of those 10 hours he had left, the first 2 were filled with mass confusion, and vomitting. Really, the best experience a man could have.

When the plane landed and one of the Flight Attendants woke him up from his iron sleep by essencially kicking him out of the plane Shiki slowly made his way to the hotel by asking for guidance, once there he really had no idea what to do, it's New York but he knows literally nothing about the city and most importantly.. he's really bad at English, his conversation with the clerk included probably the most broken english a man ever heard but thankful to god both sides understood eachother just fine for Shiki to get transported to the hotel.

He didn't have many things with him, just 50 copies of the very same school uniforms each existing only as an excuse as to why his clothes are always the same without being dirty, and that's about it. He wasn't sleepy either and there was nothing to do in the hotel room anyways so he wandered around the hotel hallways., hoping for some rad New York Adventure.

Yukino wound up on a later flight for... "reasons". The reality was that the golden heat didn't waver until hours after the first flights had taken off. It finally subsided, letting her take the second waves of plane trips to New York. The only thing on her mind was discovering an answer of Vanguard, and how to proceed with the War of Liberation. Several people in the Espoir Manor and the Sanctuary looked into the red lion armor in an attempt to figure out where the feeling of being on fire came from. Unfortunately, no one found anything, so the queen and the lion were left to a bit of a mild panic. There was no telling when they'd be in enough searing pain to be immobile again, but there wasn't anything to do about it.

Due to the fact that the pain kept her up, the queen slept most of the flight. Garmore had to wake her up as the plane landed and people were already getting off. She quickly departed herself, taking a reserved limousine outside of the airport to the hotel contestants stayed at. The tournament was the last thing on her mind, as the desire for a proper nap came first.

The sights of America were... interesting. Many an expensive looking establishment, then places that looked so poorly maintained one would think they're designed solely for rats. Bleh, this country is already not in her favor.

The Hotel wasn't anything special, at least by her standards as royalty. She was led to a room, and didn't take the time to absorb the overall majestic design of it before crawling into the bed, immediately falling asleep.

"Yeah I wonder myself. ...In any case I'm going to shower and go out and explore a little bit before we start. Could use the time to get familiarized with the area." Seifer told Neo before walking into the bathroom shutting the door and turning on the water. It wasn't long after that Seifer walked out drying his hair, dressed in his usual red dress shirt, black slacks, and black boots. After coming out of the shower, he pulled on the lion necklace again and gave a light wave to Neo before walking out of the hotel room to go who knows where.

The 12 hour flight had taken a lot out of Tsubasa, but he was not one to stay in bed for too long. He decided to rest up for about two hours before going out of the Hotel room to get some sight seeing and browsing of the city before the circuit started.

"The flight was tough, but overall to throw such an opportunity to browse New York would be a complete waste..." he said, as he began to change for today.

"...Hmmmm I wonder which area I should check out first." he said, as he began leaving the room. "..Oh..can't forget this.." he says, as he goes to grab his deck box and leaves the room, locking it as he left.

After a long trip, and only a few hours of rest, Makuto decided to head out and meet his opponent. He didn't know who his opponent actually was or what clan he uses, the only thing he knew was that if he wouldn't hurry, his would be late and not being able to read maps was a pain.

Even though he felt pretty anxious, he was really excited to take part on a competition like this one and he couldn't wait to fight his opponent.

Staring up at the ceiling fan of his hotel room, Satoshi paged a quick message to Yukino and Haruka:

First time flying. Worn out. Let's grab food at Times Square at some point, just not right now. Passing out.

He then did exactly as he said he would. First time on a plane had made him discover that he had motion sickness, and the flight attendant who gave him a bag had suggested he pick up medication when he was to return to ease the pain a bit.

Hana woke up from her nap with Mi-hime. It seems that she was still asleep. Hana ran her hand through Mi-hime's forehead and fixed her hair and took at look at her sleeping face. "Kawaii..." Hana smiled to herself. She then got up from the bed and did usual preparations. She took a shower, got dressed, and headed out.

"Now then... where to go..." Hana thought to herself while checking her phone.

After the flight, Cero stopped in at the hotel he was supposed to say it.  From the moment he walked into the door to the moment he left after checking in to his room and dropping off his baggage, only one thought came to mind, "This place is terrible."  Every staff member Cero met was incompetent, the bed was far too uncomfortable, and the room was small.  The only thing acceptable was that the rooms appeared to be cleaned more regularly than most others Cero had been in.  Especially the beds, which made up for their lack of comfort.  However, the cons still outweighed the pros, bringing Cero to leave the hotel, wanting to spend as little time in it as possible.

...Shin'en texted his mother, his calls wouldnt go through. After the cardfight Shin'en went straight to his hotel room. He tried to go to sleep but couldn't..he didn't know if it was excitement or nervousness , not to mention the bed collapsed as he sat on it. Instead he went to town square, he had never been to New York before.

With Haruka's tournament career down the drain after Round 1, he laid on his bed. It was somewhat bitter at first, but it subsided the moment he saw the fire in Yukino. She was no longer bound to the chains that shackled her inner flame. Haruka knew all too well what that felt like with a helping hand from his dragon BFF. In the end, Haruka wasn't able to pull through the wins he wanted. He scolded himself a bit on misplays and things of the like, but it wasn't the win he really wanted. Maybe he wanted to prove his worth? In the end, it was only met with a comment. That the resolve Haruka presented was what Yukino had fallen in love with in the first place. The feeling that brought to his chest could only be explained as nearly powerful as what Overlord had given him the first time.

With that, something sparked inside of him. His inner flame cooled and turned to heat all over. It was no longer concentrated and harsh, burning those who come too close. It was soothing, the wounds on the inside and the out were healed by such an amazing feeling. The warmth was ephemeral, as after he left the hall he was now somewhat cold. Icy, if anything. With his thoughts of winning aside, he had learned what he wanted from his Vanguard. He wanted to fight from the heart, not from the blade.

Even if it meant striking over and over to achieve that goal, he would continue to fight with his goal in sight. This was only the beginning, after all.

Yukino +5 AP

With that, Haruka laid on his bed, staring at his ceiling. His Vanguard had been decided.

After the mind-numbingly long flight, Noah got his stuff and walked to the hotel. He didn't have to carry much, as he was a light packer. He pretty much just brought necessities, his deck, his phone, and his wallet. When he checked into the hotel, he went straight to his room to take a shower. Afterwards, he decided to head out. He had everything he needed to go out. Wallet, check, phone, check, deck, check.

"All right, I'm finally back in the U.S., this is my chance!" Noah thought to himself happily. The adventure had just begun.

Hana returned to the hotel with the dog. After a long day of walking around, the dog went to its dog sleep bed thing to go take a dog nap. Hana looked around the room to check on Mi-hime since she was asleep when she left her this morning and she was also wonder if Mi-hime spent the whole day in the room.

"Mi-hime, are you awake yet? Get ready, we're going to go somewhere!"

Miyuki stretched and looked around the room. She had slept longer than she'd meant to, and Hana had already left. She shrugged and left the room to go the lobby. There was some stuff she had to take care of anyway. It was slightly sad that she probably wouldn't be able to look around much today, but there was still tomorrow, or the day after.

Eventually she returned to the room, and fell into a light sleep again. She was still jetlagged apparently, and was just feeling tired in general. She woke after hearing Hana call for her. 'Hmm? Y-yeah I'm awake. Where are we going?'

She was caught by surprise when Mi-hime popped up behind her. "Oh!" She exclaimed upon turning around. Mi-hime looked like she just woke up, a strange jet-lagged sleeping schedule, but perfect timing with the reservation. Hana walked up to Mi-hime and looked her straight in the eye and held her hand.

"Mi-hime get ready, w-we're going on that d-deito today..." She blushed and almost turned away as she said it.

'O-oh ok~ You did say we were going to go on a date sometime.' She could see Hana blushing, and wondered briefly why. She quickly went to make sure she wasn't a total mess, then returned to Hana.

'Alright, I'm ready to go.' She took her hand, ready to follow her to wherever they were going.

After exploring New York, what parts he felt comfortable doing so right now, Seifer returned to the hotel. Opting to lounge around the lobby for a little while, the brunette male picked up one of the random magazines that were obligatory in hotel lobbies, the generic magazines about housing and the like. The one he'd decided to pick up though was about fishing, and while he wasn't entirely big on it, he thought it seemed somewhat interesting to read about and possible explore later on in life as a past time. Flipping through the cheap paper feel of the magazine, Seifer sat down on one of the lobby couches and relaxed, losing himself and his sense of time for the immediate future.

Alexander had flown in to NYC to see the vanguard circuit up close, wanting to both catch the sights and hope to see top class fighters going at it live. He seemed a tad exhausted, not having caught any sleep on the twelve hour flight, not to mention having been awake the whole day before the fight to boot. Luckily he was able to see the fights he had missed on the flight there, the circuit having been broadcoasted during the journey much to his joy.

Though, as he checked into the hotel, he had a pained expression on his face. Sorting out his things within the hotel room as his thoughts lay elsewhere, the disappointment of not having been able to participate in the regional or national tournaments echoing in his mind. His thoughts wandered as he imagined himself on the stage with all the others there now. He sighed, the breath of air itself being something similar to him breathing out his negative thoughts, smacking his palms against his face to bring him back to reality. "I'll have my chance some other time." The words spoken as encouragement, trying to not keep himself down over his bad luck.

Hastily, he had finally settled into the hotel. His clothing and other personal items placed in both comfortable yet secure locations, but having soon came to the conclusion that staying inside would just worsen his mood he quickly grabbed his phone, deck case, wallet, and keys. Giving the case a tiny look, opening it to eye the mechanical dragon which lay at it's forefront. "We still gotta show what we can do, partner." Speaking to his card, the idea of what he was doing dawning on him as his eyes hastily looked to his sides, hoping no one saw him. Of course, the card didn't respond back, or more that even if it did their words would have fallen on deaf ears.

As he headed out of the hotel it had finally registered to him that he had no idea where he was going. New york being a sprawling metropolis that confused even it's native inhabitants, this may have been a bad move on the lads part. He hoped his rudimentary english skills would suffice, walking onwards, the direction he was heading likely going towards Central Park. For Alexander it honestly didn't matter where he was going, as long as he got to see the circuit matches, and possibly enjoy a few vanguard fights, he would be more than content on that alone.

He arrived back at the Hotel after his loss in the first match, which once again was against the Aqua Force Clan, just like in the Nationals against Jellal. There's probably something to be said about Seamen and dead Seamen not getting along or something but who cares about this kind of stuff.

He was pretty much done with the tournament, but he really wasn't sure if there were any flights back, and he didn't really want to go either. American food is yet a thing that didn't enter his mouth in this entire trip and he'd prefer to leave with everyone else, without any real reason really aside from trying to avoid some weird strangers beat him up for being an adult playing card games for example.

Shiki returned to his room and put his deck next to the TV and relaxed in his bed without really doing anything in paticular other than just listening to nothing.

Garmore and others did some digging around, and confirmed that Yugure and Ezel are undergoing a process akin to "Soul Sublimation". A similar transformation that Dragonic Overlord went through to obtain power, however, they were assured they weren't burning up their life forces. Ezel made the unconscious decision to set his heart ablaze for the sake of the people following behind him, in order to lead them after recognizing them as precious friends more than dutiful comrades. The queen who shared this ideal and somehow ended up synchronizing with the lion's soul. He too became an "Avatar" in the same sense of Ahmes and Yunos for her.

Hearing this and combining her thoughts with the lion's idealism, she finally figured out what Vanguard is. It was a skeleton of an idea, but the gist of it was loud and clear. Born from the hearts of those around her and beyond her inner circle...

"Vanguard is life..." she whispered, covering her mouth as a reaction to the shock.

Talk about a rude awakening.

The morning for Haruka consisted of three blankets, a hoodie and sweatpants. The scarf was wrapped tight around this time. His body felt as though it was covered in sweat and was placed in front of a hyperspeed fan.

He sat in his room mostly, watching TV and sleeping on and off all night, then making small visits to the vending machine for soda or canned coffee, but since it was all cold drinks he avoided it mostly.

"What did I do in a past life to deserve this..." The only thing that managed to stay warm was his chest, which was somewhat on fire. As usual.

Outside his window, he looked out at the city in the morning light. The view of outer area was nice, especially the bridges crossing over the water. It gleamed peacefully, still as a statue.

Then the sky came into view as well, just as majestic. Clouds once again high up, but actually moving for once. It was nice to see. He ended up sitting out on window sill, enjoying the breeze. It was warmer than his inner body temperature anyways.

Hana woke up in her room next to Mi-hime who seemed to still be asleep. She slowly rose from the bed and made her way to the cabinet to get her clothes and get dressed. The council of Cray is merelynwaiting for the New York to come to an end in order to finish the War of Liberation. In a sense, the World Circuit may be cut short, butnforna good cause. The power to unseal the clans will soon be at their grasp. She slwas happy at the thought, but no doubt,  there is still a large battle looming ahead. Things weren't going to be easy. Her phone suddenly rang.

"Moshii moshiiii? Oh, Manager-san." She recieved a call back from her manager telling her about a set of possible shows. She asked if Mi-hime could come along and audition to be with her in some since she asked the other day if she could come along. Of course, this would need to be looked over, but it seemed to be possible.

Hana put away her phone and walked over to Mi-hime.
"I'll be on my way out now." she lightly whispered and gave her a kiss on the forehead before heading out.

Tossing and turning in his sleep, Hikaru was sweating bullets which soaked his pillow and bed. The discarded blanket was since abandoned on the floor as the heat was getting to him.

Black and gray images kept buzzing into his dream. He heard screams all around him as life was crumbling before him, blood oozed out of the bodies of the victims and anguished faces of horror filled the screen. The survivors were wailing in despair. Hikaru then saw a lone figure at the distance who stood in front of the large wall of fire with a giant monster in the flames. When he looked to see who it was, his skin went pale, his eyes widen from the shock and his blood went to absolute zero.

The figure....it was....him. Then the large monster turned to him as it fired a blast of concentrated light towards him.

"AHHHHH" Flinging himself up from the intensity of the nightmare. Cold sweat dripped down from his face as it landed on the palm of his hands. Breathing heavily from the dream he just exprienced and began to calm down when he realized were he was. He looked at the window to see that it was day time. He grabbed his deck from the night stand and began to search for the Cosmo lord.

"Ever since I've gotten you, I have been having these weird dreams lately. They felt so real. Just...what the hell is going on." He leaped out of his bed to head to the bathroom. Maybe i'll visit the park to clear my head.

Neo had lost the second round of the Circuit to Yukino and her Gold Paladins. Neo gave Yukino a handshake and then waved the crowd one last time and headed to his hotel room. He threw his bag and deck on the floor, flopped down and put his head on the pillow.

"I had fun.. But I wish you both were there.." Neo said

Neo shed some tears thinking about his parents. THen picked up his deck and put it on the desk falling asleep.

After his defeat at the hands of Satoshi, Cero locked himself in his hotel room for several days.  To others, it probably seemed like he was simply frustrated from his loss.  Although this was part of the reason, it wasn't the whole truth.  The entire time he was awake in their, once again forgetting to eat, he was thinking, practicing, going through his deck, doing everything he could to figure out the reasons behind his repeated losses...  Over and over, card by card, play by play, thought by thought, moment by moment...  Whenever an important fight came, it was as if his deck abandoned him...  Just like those months ago...  He came to the realization that he couldn't rely on his deck.  He had to rely on his own power...  And, of course, Vermillion's power.  The power of others, and of bonds, was completely lost upon him.  All he could believe in, all he could rely on, was himself.

"I swear to myself and to this world that I will reach the highest level, no matter the sacrifice..."

With this, Cero locked himself to a path of solitude with no friends or allies, aimed to the very top of the world.  No one else would interfere or join him.  This was something he thought could only be achieved alone.

Neu sat inside her room which wasn't actually her room. It was more like, the door was locked as the room belonged to no one so she used the rift to just warp herself inside. She laid on her bed and closed her eyes. New York brought back tons of memories for her as this was a frequent stage for the National Tournament. Here, she a prominent figure in terms of Cardfighting, many know of her, she is their champion after all. Over the course of the few days she's met the various national competitors that she had gone up against in her time, all of which looking at her strangely, her new appearance making them thing she's become a lunatic. They were all pretty old now, they competed against her when she was back in middle school but like they used to, they still scoffed at her and looked down on her, treating her like she the kid that she once was. She tossed and turned on her bed, remembering the verbal and sometimes physical assault that she had to take because of how young and weak she was when she competed for the title of the national champion. It came to her mind that her kind of Vanguard would put an end to this. That was her whole purpose all along wasn't it? Encountering those kind of people again, she began to lose hope.

Be the Messiah, take things into your own hands! Just. Screw everyone else, they need you to lead them!

Tossing and turning more intensely now, she closed her eyes even tighter, the voice on the back of her head turned into a scream which seemingly echoed across the entire room. The War of Liberation would decide who is the strongest in Cray, the ones who would lead them and unseal the clans.

Everyone's Vanguard is corrupted, there is no hope left in this world. If you defeat the strongest of Cray, you will be able to show the world YOUR Vanguard, the one that will bring about salvation. Take the power for yourself, and show them a world of peace and happiness under your control.

She sighed. She just stopped thinking.

"I need to get some fresh air." Taking a deep breath, she headed outside the hotel to sit and relax for awhile.

After falling asleep for about a few hours, Neo decided to go out and get some fresh air. While in the elevator to go down to the main lobby, Neo started thinking to himself:

People like Tsubasa and Yukino have there evolutions.. So why dont I have mine yet?" Neo asked himself

Neo then reached the front of the hotel and noticed Neu there.

"Hey Neu" Neo said to her

"Man..." She sat outside, in a cold evening and looked at the town filled with light. New York certainly had no intention to sleep.

She thought about all those whom she's met in Japan, and she took them into consideration. Even they had let her down, shown her a whole lot of disappointment, but at the same time they also had fun times. Feeling the presence of someone approaching she turned her head and greeted them immediately after they said their greeting.

"Neo, hi. How you been?" She waved and gave off a slight smile.

Fun huh...

"Well this is technically my home. Well not exactly, I'm actually from the west part of U.S but I've been here so frequently back when I competed in nationals. Someone also kind of invited me here and also the nostalgia is, well.... interesting. Also, don't sweat tournaments, they're not that important anyways. What's important is that you have fun yeah." She turned her head from him and nodded, looking back at the city. She took a deep breath again, "If you had all the power in the world, what would you do with it?"

Neo wasnt exactly sure how to answer Neu's question but answered honestly and truthfully.

"Well same here I guess." She laughed.

There was no reason for her to actually ask that, even she herself didn't know why she did, but to hear someone else's answer was somewhat soothing to her in her mind.

"Well, are you still a mess or have you decided where you wanna go with Vanguard?"

Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion The BLOOD. This is Dragonic Kaiser Vermillions final evolution and the evolution Neo was looking for the entire time.

"I cant believe it, this power actually came to me" Neo said to himself.

Sure he had just lost to Neu, but that was the last thing on Neo's mind. Even though he lost, he had alot of fun and was ready for the challeges ahead.

"Thank you Neu for helping me carve the path I need to walk on. I couldnt have done it without you" Neo said to her

"I will stay on this path and treasure this card forever" Neo said.

Neo then put away his portable cf table and his new deck in his deckcase.

"No problem." she grinned.

Will that be enough to stop me?

She shook her head, her green eye glowed a little. She covered it up with her right hand and looked back at Neo. "That was extremely close. Man, just one one card would have changed everything, made my heart race. Haven't felt like that in a good while!" Suddenly there was pain going through her body. It seems that the side effects of the Rift were finally catching up to her. So far her physical features have changed, then her eating habits, and now it seems that another change is in progress.

It seems that I haven't completely let go of the past like I thought...

She weakly smiled at him again and breathed deeply, "I need to head back to my room I guess... Whew, that too a lot out of me!"

She turned away and made her way back to her room.

The Red Lion Sacred Beast Armor had evolved on its own, but Ezel himself was rewarded with a cape. Platina, Garmore, and some others stood around in the hotel room, as Yugure sat on the bed. They waited expectantly, calm gazes all around shot toward the meditating queen. Ezel folded his arms, taking a place in the center. His vanguard's hand reached out, and bladed eyes opened. A glowing, blue outline appeared before them all that was of the new beast armor's design. Yukino's hand moved about, tracing the shining blueprint. Upon completion, it had been successfully duplicated, and it subsequently turned into a copy of Platina Ezel.

"So that's the power of the blacksmith", the lion spoke.

"I still have no idea how I'm doing this, but I need to make more", Yukino added, snapping out of the blacksmith-driven trance.

This is how she spent her morning and some of the afternoon. This power of replicating armaments from Blaster Meister was taking the first steps toward being honed in the favor of the card game.

Wake up.

Hmm...mm....

Wake up, Haruka.

Wha...what....

... WAKE UP!

Haruka nearly jumps out of his bed as a pounding in his head smart to ensue. The medication he took the night before for sleeping had taken a quick effect on him, sending him into an unworldly slumber. Not even a the roar of Overlord could rouse Haruka from his rest. However what if the voice that awoke him was not on the outside, but on the inside?

"S-Sera...?" Haruka rubbed his eyes, laying back down on his pillow. He wasn't trying to fall asleep again or anything, but he was too groggy to actually find the means to get out of his bed.

Haruka. You can hear me? Good.

"Hm? Yeah. yeah." Haruka waved his arms about over his head, finally mustering enough strength to get out of bed and walk over to the bathroom. Haruka looked in the mirror, then nearly had a heart attack at what he saw.

His face.

His skin was pale white and his eyes were extremely dulled. His hair was lighter than usual, as well as a mess from sleeping. His skin didn't feel particularly cold so that was good. Maybe the inner feeling had transferred to the outside?

"Sera, why do I look like a ghost?"

I have no real way to explain it. My voice had been shut out by something in your mind. You subconsciously tried to "freeze" me away.

Haruka sighed, scratching his chin. Weird.

With that, he set out into the lobby. He didn't have a specific destination in mind, but it might be nice to avoid seeing anybody he already knows considering the abnormalities his body was undergoing. If Haruka attained anymore of a pallor, he might turn completely black and white. Sounds cool, but Haruka preferred not seeming like something out of a silent film.

After what felt like an eternity of walking around in random places, he finally arrived at his destination and salvation, the hotel. His entire body was covered in more than one layer of sweat, his eyes completely death from exhaustion, his legs struggling to support his entire body. As he walks into the doors, he smiles as if he saw an angel descend from heaven just to hug him. He was this close to laying on his comfy bed and resting for his entire life.

And then he collapsed on the ground shortly after entering the building.

Save for breathing, there were no signs of life in his sweaty body. He was just there, on the floor, in the middle of the lobby, his hand reaching for the stairs as if is life depended on it, but it too, dropped "dead" on the floor.

What the-

"Shiki...?" Haruka kneels down, staring at the most likely dead guy on the floor. He was covered in so much sweat that you could replenish your water supply in a zombie apocalypse with it. Shiki might as well be a zombie at this point, considering his lack of life. He was only, just barely, breathing.

"H-Hey... are you okay?" He places a hand on the poor boy's head and pats it a few times. Then just sort of stares at him. Haruka actually contemplates for a few seconds giving him a hand up, but the boy seems so deprived of energy and sustenance that he might just ragdoll all over the floor if he stood up for even a moment. It might be best to just leave him here....

Ignoring Haruka, Shiki lifted up his head looking forward, he started to slowly crawl towards the stairs, clinging to his dear life. But he didn't make it far, at the end of his short "journey" he flipped onto his back, breathing heavily as he started at Haruka.

"H-Hey.. stairs.. bed.. rest.." he whispered with the last bits of energy he had left, before looking back at the celling, sweat dripping from him as if he's some waterfall.

Eh... The boy was sort of just mumbling to himself. Haruka had half a mind to pick him up and carry him to his room...

If he knew where the boy's room was in the first place.

"S-Shiki... Hey, wanna come back to my room? I can get you something to drink maybe?" Haruka realized that sounded awfully bad.

"Water?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Nobody on September 05, 2015, 09:34:32 PM
Something to drink? Shiki closed his eyes, staying like that for a few seconds contemplating what his answer should be. They say a drink helps when you're out of energy, but he honestly had no idea how that'd ever work, so he declined by shaking his head in disapporval.

A bed thought.. now that was something straight out of his dream, a comfy bed where he could just lay down and spend there an entire eternity while embracing the comfyness of the comfy bed. It wasn't his bed but.. who cares? A bed is a bed.

His face started coming to life as if god himself gave him a second chance. A large smile formed from his lips as he started shaking his head up and down alot, as a way to hint Haruka that he does indeed want to go to his room.. well.. "go" is the wrong word for this, as it'd most likely come down to Haruka dragging his body all around the floor.. the stairs.. and god knows what else on the way to his room.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Jello on September 05, 2015, 09:52:29 PM
Haruka then signed, looking up. It was gonna be a drag, literally. His only hope was that the guy was lighter than Satoshi, otherwise Haruka's back might break under the pressure.

"Alright dude, here we go..." Haruka grabs the guy by the wrists and begins to pull him back up the stairs he just came down.

After twenty or so minutes Haruka and Shiki arrive in his hotel room. Shiki's face is covered in a few bruises and intense rugburn. Haruka is sweating almost as much as Shiki was by the time they reach the top. To Haruka's fortune however, Shiki was indeed a bit lighter than Satoshi, but his outfit was made of a material that didn't slide very well across the carpet.

Once they got there, he lifted Shiki onto Haruka's bed and walks into his bathroom, pouring a glass of tap water. He then walks back into the bedroom, places the glass of water on the table top and proceeds to flop into the chair in the corner of his room.

"So, why are you like, almost dead again? Yukino didn't find you, did she?" Haruka joked.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Nobody on September 05, 2015, 10:51:06 PM
Finally, "the" bed, literal heaven. A feeling so orgasmic he could scream. Infact, he probably would if he wasn't dead tired. He embraced the bed as if it was his own, not even paying any attention to Haruka who went out to the bathroom.

He nearly fell asleep, the only thing that stopped him was Haruka's question. At first, he planned to just ignore it and go to sleep in Haruka's room. But it would be too rude, even for him, to completely ignore his savior like that.

"Park.. lost.. walk alot." he answered, the pleasure of the comfy bed was too big for him to mutter out any normal sentence. He ignored the water, and continued to roll around in the bedsheet.

"E-Eh... Right then." Haruka leans back in his chair, and states at the ceiling for a few moments. It was clear to him that Shiki had nearly died just a few moments ago. But what was unclear as to how walking...

Never mind that. Haruka ended up simply walking over to the balcony entrance.

"Er, you're free to rest here if you want. I'll be out here if you need me." Haruka pinches the bridge of his nose as he steps onto the balcony and stares out at the city line. Its extremely crowded down there. Haruka's only real reason for coming out here was to revisit some past events in his head. But in the end he ended up thinking about Yukino.

Lovestruck fool, indeed.

He pockets his hands, looking at the boats in the nearby harbor. The waves and ripples around them look so serene, creating a majestic backdrop to a city that never sleeps...

Haruka spends a few moments watching the water before returning back to the bedridden Shiki, currently enjoying his new comfortable setting.

Alexander was sitting in his room, right on the bed, his eyes staring with a fire like intensity at the sprawled out cards before him. Extras of Nova Grappler cards thrown around the area, the lad switching around sets of them into his deck mostly to test them out. Several hours, and many grueling hypotheses plus tests later, he had finally come to a conclusion on his line-up, his deck almost identical though a few key switches had been made. "I hope this covers my weak points.. A bit too susceptible to rear guard sniping early game." The thought drifting around, tidying up the room and setting his deck on the table.

Heaving himself off the mediocre bed the young man headed to the washroom, hoping to take a shower, though fate would take him elsewhere. Scanning the place, his azure hues not sighting towels of all things! He gave an annoying sigh, looking around the whole hotel room but still failing to sight the drying cloth. In a rather lazy manner he walked out of the room, grabbing his vanguard deck as well. "I guess I'll just find someone to give me an extra."

Slowly walking down the hallway, he went right to his neighbours hotel room. The third floor two apartments from the stairs to the left, a well placed two knocks on the wooden door, loud enough to hear and spaced out enough to show no hurry. If the person answered they would likely see a random teenager, dressed in grey sweatpants and a white shirt, standing outside rather absentmindedly.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Hmm...?" Haruka hears the clanging of a fist on his door. At first he dismisses it, lost in thought but quickly realizes that there is actually another person on the other side of the door. He walks over, stumbling in his own groggoy feet from the morning wake up.

Haruka takes one quick glance in the mirror. His hair went from blonde to near white, and he looks more like a ghost than ever. Guess those side effects took a nasty turn.

Opening the door, Haruka speaks up. "Hmm, yeah, hello?" Haruka rubs his eyes.

Kurai heard a knock at his door. He hadn't left his room since his crushing defeat at the hands of Shin'en. The power of the Oracle Think Tank overwhelmed him to the point of where he could not win. Despite intense training in Kyoto, it wasn't enough. He sat up from his bed in his slightly depressed state, wondering whom was knocking at his door. Kurai had not ordered room service for food this time.

Rolling his eye's he got up onto his feet and walked over to the wardrobe, grabbing his black leather jacket and throwing on his red scarf. He was now in his usual attire. Kurai walked over to the door and opened it widely. He saw a random teenager, dressed in grey sweatpants and a white shirt, standing outside rather absent mindedly. Kurai wondered who this person was. He had never saw him before, but the aura he had was powerful. Something he had never felt before. Powerful but also casual.

From the moment he opened the door, he had discovered an opponent even stronger than Shin'en. Kurai addressed the fellow teenager. " Who exactly are you? I don't remember calling for room service at this moment, especially not for a cardfighter... explain now!" He was straight forward with the male teenager, wanting him to get straight to the point.

Turns out it was room service. They must have gotten his order from the night before to get food for Shiki when he fell asleep. Why did it take so long to get here? Haruka grabbed the platter of food and placed it out on the small table in his hotel room, and proceeded to lay back down on the floor.

"Its too early for this..." Haruka uses his hands as a pillow and sighs. He then proceeds to sit back up and stare out at the balcony. Its getting creepy how much he likes watching the outside world but doesn't actually go out.

Alexander blinked blankly at first, having planned out the interaction in his head only for it to take a one eighty to crazy street.

"Ah.." Mouth agape for a few seconds, right index finger raised as he tilted himself ever so slighty to throw out a few words, but nothing came out. He paused, placing the same hand on his chin as he rubbed it slowly. Eyes having zoomed top left, a look of deep thought holding for a few seconds.

"Well... Uh. I feel we got off to a bad start.... Probably. I'm Alexander, nice to meet you." His left hand doing a tiny wave while giving an uncertain stare towards the teen. A small pause before speaking once more. "I was just asking if anyone got any extra towels from room service recently, kind of needed one myself and all." His words holding a rather honest but embarassed tone, going around asking for towels from someone as opposed to staff was likely not the smartest thing he's done.

Of course, then something clicked. They must have spotted his deck, though they were rather hostile about that tidbit. Changing topics hastily in a rather absent minded manner. "Oh, are you a cardfighter as well? Here to see the circuit? I've been enjoying the fights so far actually. Seeing them live is different than on tee-vee that's for sure." The young mans words simply flowing like a never ending cascade, he personally had hoped that in part they would de-escalate the situation.

Interestingly enough, nearby a pale skinned white haired man had received room service! Maybe the casual ecounter with Kurai would be heard in part, of course Kurai had a rather serious tone, possibly causing some worried or not so worried people to check out the situation?

The teenager introduced himself as Alexander. He was asking for a towel, since he did not have one, but changed topic to the Circuit and card-fighting. "So.. you know about the circuit. Well, I lost in the first round. Decimated in fact. All by an individual known as Shin'en" Kurai decided to speak in a calm tone, now relaxed compared to over the last few days of anger over losing to him.

Kurai reached over to the radiator next to his room door and grabbed the purple towel from it. I held it out to Alexander. "Return it when your done with it. Otherwise it will be trouble" He delivered  this serious remark with a joking face. "Just make sure you return it okay? Preferred dry if possible."

The brunette nodded, eyeing Kurai for a few moments before taking the towel, giving a small smile in response to the joke.

"Say, since you're a circuit level cardfighter and all.... Mind if we have a few fights after I take that shower?" Grasping his deck case and putting it at eye level and shaking it rapidly before putting it away.

"Oh, I should probably go. Hope I didn't interrupt anything... Oh, right! What's your name? Don't think yelling purple towel guy woud be appropriate and all." The last few words spoken in a sight sarcastic tone, a humorous intent behind them.

"Oh alright co-" His words cut off as the door swung to a close, the young man simply blinking before shrugging it off.

It seemed vanguard attracted all kinds of people, though maybe that's what it's charm was? He pondered the thought as he went off back to his room, hoping to get through the rest of his day with moderate peace. Having not decided when to exactly go off to the possiby schedued cardfight, tough at least the fighter seemed interesting.

Tsubasa wakes up in his hotel room early on in the day, he decides to make his own breakfast rather than depend on the breakfast buffet like usual. His food of choice this time was just sandwhiches that he made himself, with some apple slices on the side.

"...Some time for myself does help...though I wonder..today my opponent should be decided, might as well check the TV for the broadcast." he says, as he takes out the remote remote control and turns on the TV.

The TV begins the coverage of the World Circuit.

"Welcome back to our third day of the Circuit ladies and gentlemen! Today we settle the last quarter-final match!!", said the announcer.

"..I haven't drank any water until now..I'll just turn up the noise so I can keep track of what's happening as i'm in the kitchen area." he said, as he began to turn up the volume and walking towards the kitchen.

"To my right, Satoshi! and to my left, Noah!"

Tsubasa turns the tap on, and begins to pour the water into his cup

-The lights turn off at the stadium- "....Ugggh what happened to the lights...?"
"This is boring..." said Neu.

"..That voice..." he said, still holding the cup within his hands as the water poured into the cup.

Tsubasa could identify the voice he heard from the TV as Neu's voice, but he did not want to jump to conclusions with an almost full cup of water in his hand, but it was at that moment that he heard fingers snapping from the TV screen.

The glass cup falls into the sink almost breaking as Tsubasa lets go of it immediately after hearing the fingers snap

"......Tch....Aaaaaahhh!!....-pant--pant-...what on earth is thiiss??!" exclaimed Tsubasa, as he fell to the ground, clutching his head.

At that moment an entire flood of memories gushes into Tsubasa's head, the surprise from the impact causing his head to feel a massive sense of pain as he sees his time with the Royal Paladins before the mind-wipe.

".....-pant--pant-..."

"Champions of the Gold Paladin, Great Nature, Narukami, Aqua Force, and Neo Nectar clans, I will need your help in restoring those whom we have lost."

At that moment Tsubasa, walks out of the kitchen, changes, puts on his black leather jacket, picks up his deck box, and heads out of the hotel room.

With a look of determination blazing within his eyes, "Royal Paladin...Blaster Blade...wait for me!" he says, as he clutches his deck.

Hazama enters the door and takes the elevator to the top floor. He enters his room. He lies down, not even turning on any light. He takes off his jacket and uncovers his bed.

"You know, Kurai, or who ever he is, should stay out of people's business. Or die for all I care," he says aloud to himself.

He takes off his shirt and begins to lay in bed.

"No, I haven't quit Vanguard. I know there is something out there that can suit me, there has to be. Hopefully, if there is anything, it will come soon."

He turns on his TV to find the news about Neu everywhere.

"I've already heard about this today. It's all boring news by now."

As Hazama flips through channels, he begins to daze off into an everlasting sleep, or so he wished.

Neo then decided to leave the arena and head for the hotel. While he was walking, he wondered what could have been:

"Losing to Yukino in the circuit even though it was cut short, then losing to Cero with the world at stake.. Sure Vanguard is supposed to be fun, but it hurts.." Neo said walking back to his hotel.

Neo finally reached the Hotel and took the stairs back to his room. He put his bag down along with his deck and stared at the ceiling. He didnt know what to do now but then it hit him. Neo opened the evelope that he received back at the amusement park by that stranger. Neo opened the evelope and started reading what turns out to be a letter.

"Dear Son" Neo started to read

"You will eventually get this in due time. When you are reading this, we want you to know we love you. You are going to have to be on your own for awhile. You must be in a state of shock I know, but we need to leave. We cannot tell you why but it is for good reason. We know that you will grow up to be a man with a kind and gentle heart. Dont let anything stray you from your path. Stay focused at the task at hand and you will do just fine. I know this is a very hard decision for us to make, but we ask you to please not to be upset with us. We are making this decision for a reason. A reason we cannot say but for you to find out on your own. We love you. Take care

"Mom and Dad"

"..." Neo finished reading the letter and then burst into tears

"But why.. They didnt disappear. They just.. left?" Neo asked himself

"All this time I thought they had disappeared, all this time I thought something happened to them! But they just walked out on me!" Neo screamed

Filled with so much emotion, Neo started punching his pillow and kept crying as he was letting all the emotions he held in for so long go.

"And here I thought.. They could have been found.." Neo said

Neo then stared at his deck not knowing what to do. What was there to do? What was left for Neo? All of this, was so he can find his parents but to find out they just left him hurt Neo alot.

"Maybe this is how my life is supposed to be.. For me to be alone" Neo said

Neo then layed down with his deck by his side staring at the ceiling. Turns out his trip to New York wasnt what he thought it would be.

A flash of light entered the room and a glowing figure appeared before him. Neu looked upon him, a like a lost child, just like she was. It wasn't a time for her thoughts nor her past, but just plainly, she understood how she felt. Even as a being beyond the shackles of humanity, she remembered how it was to be human. She remembered how it was to be betrayed by one's own parents. She remembered how it was to fail. She remembered how Neo was one of the first that she met on her journey to become who she was now. He was lost, he was always so lost. He's let her down, and brought her up, showing her the ups and downs of the game of life itself. Vanguard games with him were always fun, he kept things interesting and kept on improving. No matter what, she wanted to help him. Neu had no witty words or complaints this time, she didn't sigh heavily or shrug to herself.

Instead she lifted her arms and put it around him, putting him in an embrace.
"There, there... no one is meant to be alone... I want you to know that you have me, that you have everyone whom you've met and had fun games with... There, there... don't cry..." She pulled him close to her and pat him lightly in the back, looking at the ceiling where was looking, or perhaps she was looking at the heavens themselves, wishing that she now had the power to strike them down in order to end the world's suffering. "There, there..."

"Never thought you would come here" Neo said

"But thanks" Neo said wiping his tears away

Neo didnt know what to think of Neu being in the room but he was glad that she did come. He needed to hear what she said. Neu was right, Neo has met so many great people and cardfighters. He was never truely alone. Not only did he have his friends but also his cards was his family, the Narukami clan.

"Thank you for the words Neu" Neo said to her

"No prob..."

She let go of him and stood back up. Strange to think that he would be her opponent, the one to see the serious side of her. Maybe that would cheer him up?... Neu walked over to the hotel room desk and moved it as well as well as the chair effortlessly and slid it in front of Neo. She took out her deck and placed it on the table.

"Tell you what, I'll fight you right here and now, and I won't hold back. I'll be enjoying myself too, but I'll be using my main clan this time around."

Neo was still wiping his tears away but he accepted Neu's challege. But Neo was so lost in the moment that he didnt even take out his cardfight table. He just put his starter down on the table and was ready to fight.

"Game on" Neo said

"Link Joker...." Neo said to himself

"What power.. The power to seal units to prevent me from using them" Neo said

Neo was in shock. He didnt know how to react to that power..

"So thats your main clan?" Neo asked Neu

Meanwhile, in Haruka's room, Shiki was still deep asleep. For a few days now. Sure, he was really tired but this goes beyond that. It was almost as if he was in a coma, but not really. A really peaceful sleep, or so it seemed on the outside. In reality he's stuck in one hell or a dream.. or a nightmare would be a better word for it perhaps? There wasn't really anyone in the room to wake him up, so he simply had the very same nightmare loop after loop.

There was only endless darkness, literally nothing, no matter how far you go, or in which direction - darkness. Nothingness. He couldn't see or feel anything except himself. It made him feel very uneasy, visibly shaking, not like it mattered anyways, he was the only one in this nothingness, he could probably strip to nothing, not like anyone could see it.

As he wandered he realized, there is no use. He won't find anyone or anything. Not even the so called "light at the end of the tunnel". At this point he realized it was a dream, there was no way it was so real afterall.. even if.. it did feel real..

Suddenly, the area got enveloped in fog, paired with an eerie feeling. Shortly after, a laughter followed, echoing against the non existend walls of this abyss, it was impossible to track where it was coming from no matter how good one's hearing was. Naturally, Shiki panicked and started looking around, and once again found nothing. He couldn't even tell which way was forward anymore. That was when a shadowy figure suddenly appeared infront of him, as if someone cut it out in paint and pressed "paste". Out of nothing.

He started walking towards Shiki, as indicated by the sound of bones as he moved. The closer he got, the harder the "air" got to breathe. The man almost vomited as the figure stood right infront of him.

He was basically passing out at this point, the figure's mere presence was simply too much for him. As he lost consiousness, the figure placed two skeletal arms on Shiki's shoulders and started saying something, his "lips" visibly moving. But it was too late for Shiki to understand just what it was what he said.

He passed out..

..and then woke up, finally. Blasting out of bed he had to confirm he's in one piece, and that it was actually a dream, which is what it looked like. Everything was alright, he didn't feeel like throwing up anymore and his bones were intact. But still, something felt wrong.

Epilogue

As Shin'en walked into his room he went straight to bed, and went to sleep

-Blaster Dark walks into a dark room where two shadows were standing, and one candle lit.-
Blaster Dark : Thank you for your Witches Amaterasu, and for helping me get back. I know now Gold Paladin can't do anything right. Hopefully Link Joker is gone for good.
CEO Amaterasu : Oh, they will be back.
-Blaster Dark looks confused-
Blaster Dark : What? They are gone.
CEO Amaterasu : I sense a great, powerful, being and this time with an army, they are coming back Blaster Dark, be ready.
Blaster Dark : But I am not the king, that would be Phantom Blaster Dragon.
CEO Amaterasu : Phantom Blaster Dragon is still alive you know. Coco...
Coco: Phantom Blaster Dragon was split into two beings, some say one was a Mighty Dragon that takes power from all, and others say there was a Dark Knight, he called his allies to the battle field.
CEO Amaterasu : You need to find the Knight, the Mordred he will lead you to the right path.
Blaster Dark : How will I find him, I don’t even know who he is or what he looks like.
CEO Amaterasu : You have a bond with Phantom Blaster Dragon don't you? Well then you should know when you find him.
Coco : Ms. Amaterasu knows all, I think you should listen to her.
Blaster Dark : Well, we should be ready for war.

Shin'en wakes up out of breath, he takes out his deck and then and there his deck turned into a new one, at the top were new cards, and at the very bottom he saw his avatar. "My avatar, wait .... This isn't my avatar, this is ' Blaster Dark Revenger '?"

(At the stadium)
At the end of it all when Neu and Yukino were put on the line of medical treatment, Tsubasa had the chance to speak to his units, mainly Ezel and the two Blasters. They seemed to be accepting and impressed by his performance, but what mattered to Tsubasa was that his warriors were talking to him, conveying their thoughts and communicating, as friends, something that Tsubasa was always hesitant of achieving.

"...Ezel, Blaster Blade, Blaster Dark...take care of Yukino for us all, she's going to need all the help she can get...if her plan is to go back to cray." he said, still trying his best to keep himself standing as the impact from the fights took a toll on his body.

"...We will do our best to aid the Chosen Sword, but please remember Tsubasa Hayato...unlike the past few months we won't leave your side....-as the blasters and ezel place their hands on Tsubasa's deck- ....our Vanguard."

Tsubasa's deck begins to shine when the three recognize him as a worthy Vanguard, even though the deck still remained the same for the time being

"...Thank you.." he said, as he began to walk towards all the familiar faces in the stadium, entrusting Yukino to the three warriors.
"..Alexander...Seifer....everyone...thank you for believing in us all...before we return back to Japan I hope we can meet up at some point..." he said, as he began to leave the stadium.

Before he completely exits he stops by Neu's stretcher and places his hand upon hers and says,"...Be careful...I know that we will get to see each other again... but until that time...get some rest.." with that he begins to walk off towards his hotel room to get some rest, his deck still glowing even stronger but because of his frail condition he is unable to notice it completely.

(At the Hotel Room)
Tsubasa enters the hotel room, swaying a bit, his pocket glowing but he is unable to notice it quickly enough to react as all he cares about at this point is to get some rest. Still he takes out his deck and sees that it's changing along with the spirit cards, but his condition does not allow him to see the full changes before they are complete.

"...Huh...what is happenin-" he says, as he collapses on the bed, falling immediately to sleep.

At that moment his deck releases a blinding ray of light and after a few minutes, the light fades away and in it's place blaster blade spirit and blaster dark spirit had evolved to suit their Vanguard.

"...We will be by your side...our Vanguard..."

As Tsubasa continues his sleep, his deck returns to normal but this time in his hand lies his new golden avatar, Blaster Blade Liberator and his dark avatar Blaster Dark Revenger.

After the events at the stadium, Seifer had returned to the hotel, and the room he shared with Neo, more worried than ever. The deck in his pocket had changed back from Great Nature to Kagero and he was now quietly looking through the deck. It had changed quite a great deal from what he remembered it being. But there was Overlord, back in his possession. That brought a smile to his face as he put the deck back into the deck case attached to his hip. There was now a lot to think about however... He was worried about Neu, Tsubasa, Hana, and even Yukino. He wondered where they were at currently, and if he could possibly meet with Neu for any reason. Then again he remembered her being hauled off in an ambulance. Sighing he stood up, first going to take a shower. He kind of needed one after what everyone had gone though. Walking out after several minutes and drying his hair he'd changed into a new outfit: a black vest, black t-shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. Picking up his deck and leaving a note for Neo saying that he was going to go take some time to think, he walked out of the hotel room to go... who knows where.

Having pocketed Harukas number, and seen Tsubasa off, he proceeded to head back to his Hotel room. He saw the sights of a trashed New York on his way back though its people held a certain hardiness in them that aided in the rebuilding procedure. Something he appreciated. On his way there, he began to contemplate all the happenings within the few days he had been here. The finale of the circuit being the most memorable of all,  all sorts of out of world feats having been accomplished leaving him in a daze. Especially seeing the famed unit of Shadow Paladin, Blaster Dark, in the flesh.

"Feels like a dream when I think about it." Making his remark of disbelief, though the events were anything but fake. The bonds he began to create, and the bonds he noticed could not be simply dismissed with a such a simple concept.

Alexander had finally reached his room, having decided to finally get a change of clothes and shower. He still had Kurais purple towel, making a mental note to wash it and hand it back to them before he left back to Japan. He would coth himself in casual clothes, dark jeans with a yellow shirt. His pair of headphones laying on the bed as he dragged out his vanguard deck, though something seemed weird to him.

"Wait, what." Mumbling to himself as he flipped through the cards. It wasn't just that some cards were added in magically, no his entire clan had changed. At the forefront of the dark knights lay a purple knight of mystifying charisma, catching his attention with a knight right behind him labeled "Blaster Dark."

"Shadow Paladin again. Ugh, those were not good times." His eyes looking as if remembering a far off memory, times of anger and loneliness. Times when he leaned on the dark knights as a crutch to express his negative emotions, times when he wasn't the kind of person he had ever wished to be. Neu's world memory revival, and the dawning of these cards once more, having jogged his memory. A memory of a young man that now wished to repent for the wrongdoings of before.

"Though, why would you guys be with me again?" Questioning, uncertainty filling his head but followed by an annoyed sigh. The Nova Grappler deck was gone, the battleroids lending him their strength when he remained powerless. He felt a tinge of regret, their selflessness as they helped him in an unknowing battle to regain the lost clans. Shadow paladin was saved, though the emotions he felt from them was different than before. He couldn't talk to vanguard cards, but like opponents and their units, there was always an emotion given off. Repentance, the same emotion and goal, the same drive felt by both warriors and their vanguard.

"I see." Giving a solemn nod, the events of the two days tiring him out, and the clan being returned to him causing a bit of mental baggage to shift through. Groggily he got into his pajamas and went to bed. Maybe his plans would involve finding Tsubasa or giving Haruka a call. Some time outside hanging out would likely do him some good for now at the very least.

"My first concert!? Really? Yes! Of course I won't turn it down!

The Mermaids and Angels were jumping for joy and celebrating, Hana was almost there. She had almost made it. Her broadcast and contribution to the recent event sealed the deal. To many people she was the voice of hope, the figure whom calmed them during their times of trouble. "We did it... We're going to take the stage..." She would say to herself again and again, after all the hard work and endless amount of practice, the felt like this was the best reward. She thought that she would be practicing forever and ever, unable to perform, but now she had her future set.

The Bermuda Triangle started to all speak at once, giving her tips when singing and even certain things to do to make solidify her idol persona. The first concert would where her announcement as the princess made the most impact, Time's Square, New York, in two days time. She had the choice to invite other performers to come with her.

This was her list so far:

Well, even given directions, Seifer managed to get lost a few times but he finally made it to the hospital. However he wasn't allowed to visit and just left his number for them to let him know when he can and reluctantly returned to the hotel milling around the lobby and looking at all the other magazines. Flipping through one of the Vanguard ones he managed to find, he just sat down and waiting. It wasn't like there was much left for him to do here.

Having just woken up from his long sleep, the day being almost evening at that point, he takes a shower and gets changed to take some time to explore NY, maybe re-unite with his comrades before his return to Japan. After getting changed he takes his deck and quickly goes through it knowing that he might have to use it at some point today.

".........What the......" he said, as he began to look through his cards.

His deck had changed, it was still the Gold Paladin clan, but this time he finally understood why he kept hearing in his sleep the voice of the Blasters telling him that they won't leave him. The Royal Paladin warriors including Blaster Blade had joined the ranks of the Gold Paladin under the banner of the 'Liberators'.

"...This is amazing...I understand now...take care of her...Ezel...we'll meet again soon...but now...Let's go my Paladins." he said, as he began to leave his hotel room after putting his deck into his pocket.

One thing that escaped Tsubasa at that moment was that, when he picked up his new Gold deck, he failed to notice that there was another deck box placed on his shelf. In his mind he remembers only putting one deck on his shelf before taking his shower, but in reality the two Blasters unlocked both decks for him, and that deck contained the avatar of shadows and determination, Blaster Dark and the shadow warriors united under the banner of 'Revenger".

STAND UP THE VANGUARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was the first fight Shin'en could feel like he was fighting in the battlefield, the first fight where the clan fit him and Shin'en was the vanguard, the one that leads the way. The first couple of turns Cipher drew 3 draw triggers Shin'en was worried he wasn't gonna be catch up, but he did. Cipher then did something called a breakride, Shi'en had never heard of this before. Whatever it was, it allowed his vanguard to restand. Luckily Shin'en had a perfect guard in hand to nullify it. Death Master Dragon and Dragonic Overlord battled to the end but Cihger drew two trigs, allowing him to win the fight.

After defeating Shin'en in a very close fight, Seifer raised his arms in victory, grinning. "I did it! Awesome!" he laughed grinning even more and gathering up his cards. "That was a really fun and awesome fight Shin'en! Shadow Paladin is really cool, and I look forward to doing this again sometime!" he ecstatic male grinned again offering his hand in a hand shake. He'd had a lot of fun, and it was nice to have Kagero back.

After the card fight, Shin'en decided to go back to bed. He may have gotten his Avatar back and a new deck, but that didn’t stop him from sleeping. He put his deck I his pocket and went to bed...
-Blaster Dark walks into the 'Shadow Paladin' section of the United Sanctuary. Blaster Dark decided not to let the entire Sanctuary know about Link Joker, instead he picked a certain few who would take the name of 'Revengers'-
-Blaster Dark first went to Caar-
Blaster Dark: Morning Caar, I’m going to need you to make some weapons.
Caar: What kind of weapons sir.
Blaster Dark: Dual Blades fit for a masquerade, Spears for a set of twins, and last but not the strongest shield you have.
Caar: Um, the strongest shield I have huh? Okay.
Blaster Dark: Thank you, Caar
-Blaster Dark then goes to Darkness Maiden Macha-
Blaster Dark: Morning Macha
Macha: Morning, need anything?
Blaster Dark: Yes actually.   I’m going to need your top student to come with me.
Macha: That would be Tartu
Tartu: Yes?
Blaster Dark: I have a proposition for you.............
Tartu: I accept.
- Blaster Dark goes to Dorint, and Claudas who is supposed to be guarding the gate-
Blaster Dark: Morning Boys, how would you 2 like to take a trip with me?
The Twins without hesitation said yes.
-Blaster Dark goes to the Masquerade, who is carving weapons for Caar-
Blaster Dark: Morning Masquerade
Masquerade: What do you want?
Blaster Dark: I want you to join my Crusade.
Masquerade: No
Blaster Dark: You don’t even know what it’s for.
Masquerade: I didn’t join Shadow Paladin to be a part of some crusade. I joined for Phantom Blaster Dragon himself.
Blaster Dark: Ok, but what if that’s what this crusade is for…

Mond Blaukuger

This card appeared to him after the 4 clans were unsealed by Tsubasa and Neu. Granted he was given four copies of the card but that's beside the point. He began to wonder the source of power that cray holds and the rift which is said to be made of nothingness and yet can create matter. At least from what he heard. He was laying down on his bed as he decided not to join the festivities of the city below. He wasn't the type of person to celebrate even if the worlds were saved. Next time the worlds endanger, he'll be ready for what's coming, no matter the cost.

"You seek power..worry not you will obtain it." The voice came into being once again as he stared at the card one more time.

"Just who are you exactly, you've been in my head for the past few days already." He questioned to the vast air in front of him.

"Your not as sharp as I thought you were, but if you insist. I'am the Phantom King of the Death Army, Cosmo Lord!" He finally appeared in the room fully armored as small sparks of blue electricity comes off him.

"So you were the voice, huh. I didn't think I would talk to one of the denizens of cray like Yukino. I'm was never a believer of such fairy tales, But you've chosen me to be your vanguard then so be it. Lets go and gain the strength to protect the worlds together." Reaching out his hand over to the phantom king.

"Very well." He evaporated into blue motes as it returns to Hikaru's deck. "Let's show them our strength." He Then grabs his jacket and left his room to head outside.

After several hours of rest, Haruka awoke to the sound of glass shattering.

Except nothing actually shattered, it was from a dream probably. He was hearing strange sounds in his sleep. Its as if everything that happens in his dreams ends in a bang or something.

With his sudden awakening, Haruka walks into the bathroom and washes his face, and taking morning vitamins. His skin has become ghastly pale and the blonde in his hair is platinum at this point.

He grabs his cell phone from the bathroom counter where he left it, and walks out into to the hotel lobby, looking for directions to the nearby diner.

Had awoken after a few hours of rest, readying himself for the day out after a quick wash and a change of clothes. Sleeping rather well after the events of the other day, though memories still flashed. It still vaguely felt like a dream, mostly using the concept to retain his bearings on the world, though with all things he would get accustomed to it.

Heading out, he proceeded to go to the diner. His stomach having growled on his morning routine, hoping to capture something leaner to eat though considering American cuisine it was to be expected that something obscene like eggs and bacon for breakfeast. He sighed, maybe he'd have some orange juice alongside to not feel sick?

Then Alexander had a good idea, he could call Haruka! Breakfeast with people was a great bonding experience, maybe a cardfight thrown in. It was the perfect plan. Rapidly he flipped out his phone, going to the saved number and giving them a call. Thought it seemed the call was pointless, spotting the pale Haruka, blinking at their appearance though trying to not make a big deal out of it.

Buzz.... Buzz... Buzz-

"Hm, hello?"

Haruka answered his phone scratching his head. He didn't particularly know the number, so it was one of three people: Neo, Tsubasa or Alexander.

And he didn't want to make one of them feel bad for not guessing, so he instead just waited for a reply from the other side of the line.

Now normally Alexander would walk up and greet Haruka, though he had a better idea. Continuing to call he would move somewhere behind Haruka a few meters away. Proceeding to speak to them to distract him whilst he put his plan in motion. "Heya it's Alexander, wanna have some breakfeast?" Before sneaking up behind and attempting to tap his shoulder, a mischievous smile plastered on his face followed by a few small confident laughs sounding something like "Fufufu" As if having won some sort of battle if he could get them to turn around while still on the phone.

A couple seconds passed until he heard something.

Well. Felt something. Haruka was staring at the front door when suddenly he felt tap on his shoulder. Haruka nearly jumped, his phone almost falling out his hands.

"W-W-What???" Haruka turns around to see an Alexander Reis, demonic grin and all. Haruka shrivels a but at his expression.

Let out a hearty laugh at Harukas reaction, finding some joy in their surprised state though calming himself soon after. A grin still held in his appearance as he spoke.

"Surprised you?" He asked coyly, before speaking some more. "I was calling you before and then saw you on the way to the nearby diner. Good luck huh? Heading there to eat as well?" Implying that they should eat together via subtext. He either was a decent human being or a extremely manipulative person. Though, considering his day to day actions he was likely both to some degree.

Ighanna arrives at the hotel directly from the airport via limousine after an extended amount of time visiting her great grandmother's death anniversary.

"Ahhhh how nice it is to be back here, home~" Ighanna thought as she stretched her arms and legs to crack out of the tiredness from long flights and car rides. She left the job of carrying the luggage and checking in to her entourage and strutted in fashionable, catching the attentions of many noticed by the loud whispers going on. She then decided to head to the cafe, her place of interest, in order to chill out and replenish her growling stomach as the plane food was horribly inedible.

"Um, I'd like to have this Darjeeling Tea along with one Yuzu Èclair and one Caramel Profiterole please, thank you." Ighanna told the waitress as she shyly approached her with a menu.

"Metatron, after this I'll find something to cure your boredom kayy, I know you've been stuck up doing nothing for months already but first things first, *wink wink Iggy* I need to satisfy myself with f00d." Ighanna playfully conversed with Metatron as the angel sulked in understanding.

Haruka looked at Alexander in fear...

Then Sera did in displeasement. If Sera was actually fully awake like Haruka, he'd have smacked the boy so hard his jaw would crack under the pressure.

Then again, Sera and Haruka have a deal to never use physical violence as an answer, due to prior events involving Satoshi's face. Haruka still feels guilty about that.

"Yeah, the diner. Let's go." Sera was going to reply at first, but Haruka managed to get in the cockpit again before Sera insulted him or something. He didn't want Sera to say something subtly passive aggressive or whatever.

Haruka motioned out the hotel door with a smile.

"I need my morning coffee anyways."

Before he walked out the front door, he pulled out his phone to respond to the text. And it was true, Haruka had definitely failed to call the night before. But in his defense... He doesn't remember all of last night. He left the coffee shop.. And woke up in bed. There was a small memory gap. Probably just too tired to remember is all.

"sorry, will call tonight. promise. -haru"

Blinked, turning his giddy features into a more serious one as he eyed Haruka with a bit of curiosity. He hoped he hadn't scared him too much now, placing a hand on his chin as he hummed whilst deep in thought.

Though, his hasty reply was an advent of salvation to his worry. Washing it away, turning to him and continuing to walk towards the diner with him. "Coffee sounds good." His reply to the other young man. Hopping along as he tried to think of what small talk to make. He hadn't been out with someone for awhile, so this was something he needed to get used to.

Fire. A field of ashes and flames burning on those ashes surrounded him. Nothing but plains, set ablaze all the way to the horizon in each direction. There was no heat though, and there was no danger from the fire. Haruka had been here before. He had visited this field before. He'd never seen it with his own eyes, but it felt like home. It felt so surreal. Standing in front of those flames, Haruka felt a pair of lithe, pale arms wrap themselves around him. At first he hadn't noticed them. But as their grip tightened and a girly giggle was emitted from the direction behind him, he knew who it was.

"Yu-Yukin-"

Haruka turned around with a slight smile to find... Well, nobody. The arms disappeared into thin air and there was nobody where he thought he heard that laugh. Instead, lay more flames. And more flames. And somewhere among those flames lie more flames... Haruka became dizzy. He fell on his back, slowly trying to back away from the flames but tripping over his feet horrendously. He woke up to the touch of a hand on the shoulder and some bits of something.. What was that?

"..his...is...u...fin...irt..."

Haruka woke up drenched in sweat, laying on his bathroom floor. The evening came all too quick the night before, leaving him to dash out of the diner unexpectedly. His stomach felt better, but Haruka was suddenly in a panic attack the dream. Everything felt all too real. The fire, the touch, the words. Everything.

"Sera... What happened...?"

...

.....

.......

Haruka was met with silence, and his sudden frantic attitude became still. He felt cold, but was sweating up a storm. Maybe he really did have a fever after all. Stupid nightmares. He ended up using the wall as support to get up and get to the counter where he left his phone.

"... Ahhh... Gotta call Yukino today.." He picked up his cell. It read "5:03 AM."

"Hmm.. Well maybe when she's actually awake."

Papparazzi was crowding outside on the hotel lobvy as Isabella left thehotel's grand ballroom after her morning practice. They looked to interview ber in coverage of tonighofs concert. The whole world had their eyes on New York, the scene of the War of Liberation and the princess who helped lead the warriors to Vanguard's salvation. Isabella, the voice of Hope, they would call her. Tonight, Isabella Hope was making her worldwide debut, a Japanese Idol on an American grade stage, Time's Square.

A celebration of the War's end and return of the sealed heroes, that is what the concert was for. Flier were sent out az well as continuing news of this being spread and viral all ovef popular media. It was a surprise if someone didn't kniw of it at this point. It was going to be aired on televisions accross the world and streamed accross various sites. An all star line up of performers were invited and offered to perform, some among them being Rhianna, Nicki Minaj, Christian Aguilera, Lil Wayne, and Isabella's best friend, Drake. Drake had sent Isabella a hat that would add on to her stage costume tonight. Thanks man.

The practice wasn't heavy itself, all that was left was to take the stage by storm tonight.

Was in his hotel room as he blinked blankly, eyeing a piece of paper before him. "Idol.... Concert?" Repeating out loud the words as he saw the image on it being of one called "Isabella Hope". The same girl from the broadcoast, the one that had created the gates that let the five champions challenge Neu within some rift in space. He was a bit unsure how to proceed, to or not go.

Deciding against his better judgement Alexander proceeded to get ready for the concert, getting the chance to see an up and coming idol wasn't a chance many people got. He'd secretly hope to meet some of the other fighters he had seen or heard about around there, to at least trade phone numbers and such. It would be a shame to not be able to see any of them again, or at least meet some new faces.

The sound of people and cameras was faint from the hotel lobby. Haruka put on a shirt and finally came out of his room. Upon coming out into the hallway, Haruka steps on some paper. Picking up the now crumpled flier, it talks about Isabella Hope, and her debut concert... Haruka's jaw drops. Then his face forms into a giddy smile. Whilst jumping and cheering, he dashed out to the lobby, all looking for her. Coverage for this event was insane, everyone was excited. Even Haruka was buzzing with joy.

"Looks like tonight is gonna be good." Haruka chimed to himself. He ran back up to his room to get ready for later that day.

Sky yawned and stretched stepping out from the elevator into the lobby of the hotel. He had heard everyone in the hotel would be leaving today so he was looking for one last chance to fight. The buzzing papparazzi in the lobby made him recall something he saw while on the computer yesterday. There was going to be a concert today. Sky was never one for those kinds of things but he recognized the person who was performing was none other than the one he fought yesterday. Sky had no idea she was famous but also realized this concert would be to commemorate the event that took place, "There will definitely be some strong fighters there in that case!" Sky thought to himself and hurried back to the elevator to start getting ready.

"Hey..... What the hell was that? Do you call that a fight?!"

"I don't know who you think you are, but don't act so high and mighty when someone challenges you and gives it everything they have! I mean there I was coming at you with all my passion and you seemed like you couldn't care less."

"If this is how the Japanese play vanguard then maybe I shouldn't have come here."

"I wouldn't waste your time, he's no real fighter."

"Seifer... is that really you? I vaguely remember you but I feel like this isn't how you normally act. I remember your enthusiasm and positive attitude that day when you handed me Ashlei, this... this doesn't seem right!" Noel said to herself after leaving the laundry place after watching the cardfight with the guy she saw who was begging for food and who she believes is her half-brother who Noel has been searching for. "Well, I guess there is no point in thinking about it now. I first need to find a place to live or I might waste all my money in this hotel room. Wow, waste all my money... haha, that's a first." Noel chuckled a little at the fact that her money is now limited (although it is a crazy amount for your average person) and no longer a bottomless pool at her disposal.

Noel walks out of the hotel and notices that the day looks really nice outside and that it will be a waste of a nice day if all she did was look for places to stay. "I guess I COULD take some time to explore the city some more. Let's see, I went to the shopping district yesterday and along the way, I noticed there was a nice park to walk about in. I guess I will take a look at the park for a bit. Who knows, he might be there." Noel now decided, proceeded to make her way to the park

Noel now all rested up and clean wakes up realizing she is late for school. More like she just remembered school started already yesterday.

"CRAP!!!!! I OVERSLEPT!!!" Noel scared herself awake. After calming down, she stopped and thoroughly though about missing school today. If she wanted to, she could probably skip a whole quarter of the year and not stay behind since her home schooling was pretty advanced despite her not liking the strict tutors that were assigned to teach her. "Hmmm, I guess I can find the cardshop Tsubasa directed me to so I can rebuild my deck... but ugh! What should I make the deck into..." This irritated Noel a lot. Her beloved Jewel Knights were gone and now she needed to replace them. She then started looking over at the available units on her phone and tried building mock decks until she found the right ones. "Alright, I will go with you guys! To the cardshop I go!" Noel grabs her things and decides to wear the school uniform despite not going today and heads off

Khudus had just woken up. He stared up at the ceiling aimlessly and bored. It had been around a week since he arrived. He thought he would be able to find a place to stay but he had no luck and ended up staying at the hotel. He knew he had to find a place eventually but that would have to wait. He decided to sit up and stared over at the dressing table. There was his deck case. He reached for it and grabbed the case. He opened up the case and pulled out a card.

The card he pulled out was his Avatar Card Beast Deity, Ethics Buster. He stared at it and sighed. Its a long road ahead of us isn't it. To be honest this is huge pain. Rather head home but we decided we wouldn't defer from his path we started. He just stared at the card and after a while he put it back into the case. Oh well no point moping. Better get on with the day. he got up from the bed and got changed. Once changed he grabbed his deck and left his room. Well for today let's check out if we can find few other beast deities to make you stronger Ethics Buster. With the plan set he set off for the card shop.

"Mm..mmmm..." Haruka woke up in a rather expensive looking bed this morning. Half his suit lay across the floor, vest and all. He sat up scratching his head, looking around the dimly lit room. He was a bit groggy and his vision was kind of blurry. He rubbed his eyes, reaching for his glasses on the night stand. Haruka actually wore glasses, but he really thought they made him look too old, so he wore contacts instead to protect his youthful look.

Dork.

He looked around the room, finding a bit of disheveled clothing around the room. Haruka was still wearing his button-up and slacks, so he probably didn't sleep with anyone-

Hana. Haruka had taken Hana up on her offer to stay at a hotel with her the night before. The thing is, Haruka doesn't really remember all too much about getting there and all he remembers is a little cuddling and then it was lights out. Whatever happened is blank.

He got out of bed, put on his work uniform, gloves and all. He was actually growing really fond of the outfit, it gave a nice sense of individuality. But he also felt like some villain out of an anime and that felt weird to think. Maybe he could be the next shounen manga bad boy.

With that, he darts out the room, not really looking for Hana. Not that he was trying to ditch out on her by any means, but he had to make it to school! Saturday's there are still classes, it's just a half day. However today is one of Haruka's days off from work so he can finally attend the Cardfight Club today. He was pretty excited to finally get back in the action. He was already down the stairs in front of the building when he texted Hana. However before he did... he saw a message from Yukino. It said how she missed him.  He stared at his phone is disbelief.

Come tell me that then...

No need to be so harsh, Haruka. She is the one you promised yourself to first, you remember?

But she turned his back on him, and so did somebody else if I recall.

Sera and Overlord were having a passive-aggressive off right about now. Awkward.

"hey, on my way to the school. ill see you there, yeah? club today, dont forget! -haru"

He sent that to Hana and darted off to school, already being an hour or two late. Definitely got to make up for lost time.

Darren pointed out and led the way to the place they could rest for some time, the Hotel within the city. It probably wasn't the most... ideal place in terms of implication, but Darren wasn't thinking about that at the moment. All he was concerned with now was recovering and becoming strong enough to fight the Reverse. Speaking of which, he would likely have to tell Xat more about that. It was a strange feeling to have someone care for only him, the first time he felt it since coming here. He wondered why she cared enough to answer Daiyusha's call in the first place, but he wouldn't ask about it.

Xat helped him all the way to the hotel while talking to shira in her mind. 'Shira why did I feel compell to help him? I bearly know him?' She asked shirayuki.

'Its because even if you won't admit it you trust him. And see him as a friend.' Shirayuki said with a smile in ehr voice while Xat's eyes widden at the revulations.

'I guess so.' She said to shirayuki as they reached the hotal. She payed and grabed a room key, she then carried Darren to the room and placed him on the bed.

Darren didn't argue or fight, going to the room and laying on the bed. His body was bandaged up but he had been so hurt that he looked like a mummy once more. He looked up at her with a small smile as he was glad someone was watching over him at least a little.

"Thanks for helping me there..." Darren said with a sincere tone of admittance. "I was kind of in a bad way at that point. I was in the middle of the whole place being torn down by a battle between a giant fire dragon, a giant thunder dragon, and a giant super robot. Long story short, weird day."

After a moment of thought, Darren sent a text to Rosalia, Yukino, and to Seifer if he was even going to bother.

I'm in a hotel room with Xat right now. We're... not doing anything weird. I'm just gonna let my body recover a bit. If you need me, I'm here. Also the thing with the Scythe... I remember that was what Reversed me. Don't know how important that is.

Xat sat next to him. "Don't mention it, and your an idiot or getting caught in a middle of the battle. " She told him as she finished and looked away when she saw him smile and stood up. "I'm going to go get food." Was all she said as she left the room with a little blush on her face.

Xat went down to the lobby and to the resturant in the hotel and ordered food.  The food soon came out and after paying for it left the restrant not wanting to talk to anyone. She soon arrived back at the room and entered it.

"Here its chicken breast and some fries as well as some soda." she said as she  helped him sit up. After he was sitting she handed him his dinner. She then sat down next to him on a chair and placced her food and drink on the night stand.

Darren blinked at the spread. He loved things like this. How would she know that though? It didn't really matter as he sat up, beginning to eat the chicken before anything. It was really good.

"Thanks, I really needed this," he said to her with a smile. "Thinking about it, I don't think I've eaten all day. A lot really did happen, wow... He looked down for a moment, then said, "I feel like I haven't sat down with someone for a meal in ages... Feels nice."

Xat looked at him and smiled softly. "Yes it is nice to sit with someone and eat." she said agreeing with him. "You don't have to thank me." she told him and took a bite of her chicken. Xat was not use to eatting with someone or actually being around someone like Darren. All her life she has been fighting and killing so this new life style seems really confusing to her.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel

Darren smiled as he gave a small laugh of enjoyment. He held his side from the laugh as he continued to eat. "I've been on my own a long time so I never really knew how to be around people. I mean, I do my best but it only goes so far. This is kinda what it led to." That wasn't completely true but he felt like the Reverse started for him that day at the Culture Festival when the one he now knows to be Chaos Breaker Dragon accepted his Cardfight. Maybe if he was more careful he would have thought a big guy in a cloak would be dangerous.

Xat placed her food down and looked at the ground. "I wouldn't know. I was raised to learn not to trust others, and was on my own most of the time unless i was training". Darren sighed again as he said, I guess that's something we kinda have in common... Wait, what kind of training?" At first when he heard that, he thought she meant Cardfight training. Xat looked back at him wondering if she should tell him, after all they havnt known each other long. She decided she wouldn't tell him not just yet. "It dosn't matter, its all in the past now." She said not wanting to talk about it. Shirayuki sighed and knowing the risk went and talked to Dayusha.

"Its hard for her to talk about. She was raised as an Assissn and it still haunts her. The only reason she quitted assassnation was due to vanguard. I guess in a way we protect her from falling back into that past." Shirayuki told Dayusha before sighning. "Darren has had a good influance on her, at frist she wouldn't bother helping someone but she went out of the way to help him, not because you called but cause she felt something was wrong. 'Who's Xat? Oh right that girl that was with you earlier. I'm on my way I guess. Some stuff I need to get off my chest.'

Darren's phone would vibrate with Seifer's answer, the brunette having wandered this way from the battlefield earlier. Apparently Darren had been seriously hurt and was taken here. Why not a hospital he didn't know but he didn't really need to know. In any case, the crimson eyed brunette made his way to the room that Darren was in after asking someone that worked at the counter. Given the male's appearance (his red eyes), the clerk was hesitant at first, but when Seifer mentioned they were friends he was pointed in the right direction. Striding down past several other hotel rooms, the male started to wonder a few things. Did he make the right choice in throwing away Vanguard? Maybe... Maybe it didn't really matter. This WAS the right thing to do. Stopping just in front of the door he knocked once, then waited a moment before following up with three more.

Darren didn't think to press matters, but when Daiyusha told him what Shirayuki said, he frowned lightly and said, "Well... I guess it doesn't matter much. The past is the past. Looking at it too long makes it harder to move forward, right?" He smiled lightly as he hoped that his words helped to ease the tension a little.

That was when his phone went off. He looked at it with a blink and saw that Seifer was on his way. As he was about to post the room number, a knock came at the door. "Oh, that must be a friend of mine," he said to her. "He's safe to let in. Xat, could you get that. I would but... still kinda hurts to move around.

Seifer was met... a really strange woman. She didn't seem to be acting normal, considering this was probably the Xat that Darren mentioned. That was really shady but as she let him in and departed, he shut the door behind himself, locking it and walking to the foot of the bed. Both of his hands were in his pockets and he was just staring at Darren with... What was that? Apprehension? Even though both of his crimson eyes were shut halfway, there were definitely a bit of apprehension apparent behind his stare. It took him a few moments to say anything but when he did... "You really do look like a mess." that was the first thing out of his mouth. It may of come off as rude but... He wasn't really sure how to start this conversation. He himself was relatively unscathed, save for the outline of a scar that could be seen... albeit very hard to see, through the white of his dress shirt. Seifer really didn't get to talk to Darren much, so he wasn't sure how to act either.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Golden Sage NovaRaizer on October 06, 2015, 12:23:52 AM
Darren nodded as Xat went to the door and then stepped out. It was probably best he had a moment alone with her anyway but he didn't like that her cold personality returned the moment someone else appeared. That's something to remember for later. When Seifer came in, he looked at the male and saw his red eyes. He looked like he had something serious on his mind. With his opening line, he couldn't help but laugh. Not the best way to start a conversation but not a false statement either.

"It happens when you're one third of a battle between two giant dragons and a super fighting robot that's just as large." He looked down for a moment as he moved his hand onto his stomach, his heavily bandaged stomach with his heavily bandaged arm. Yeah, he really was a mess. "You probably wanna hear about the text I sent... I know Yugu... I mean Yukino wanted to know about it. Or... does it have something to do with what happened at the Shopping District?" The last part was a fairly open ended question question but he was of course talking about Seifer throwing away all of his decks.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Cipher Izanagi on October 06, 2015, 12:53:33 AM
The brunette stared at the male quietly for a few moments, somewhat getting the gist of what Darren was getting at. His phone buzzed, but he didn't check it. Not yet. "...I'm almost not surprised you noticed I threw them away, but I guess that's why I came here." glancing up at the ceiling above he thought about where to really begin. "...So probably one of the other Generals..." he sighed looking out the window before back to Darren giving him a moment to guess where he was going with it before out right saying it. "The reason I threw away my decks is because I'm one of them myself. With everything that happened at the battlefield... Me losing control a while before that as well. I felt to... Weak. I couldn't protect anyone, and hell..." he pulled up his shirt a bit, revealing the scar on his stomach before dropping it. "I couldn't even protect myself. Though, admittedly this was... self inflicted." actually now that he thought about it, just what was the reason he revealed it? Anyway, he waited for Darren's answer.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Golden Sage NovaRaizer on October 06, 2015, 01:04:00 AM
Darren remained silent and let him speak. It didn't take long to confirm that they were on the same page. The moment he said "other generals", Darren looked at him with confusion. How could he say other first unless... He confirmed it with what he said next. Looking at the scar made it worse. Darren thought he had problems. That was probably going to be there for a long time. Darren looked down before he took a deep breath.

"I guess you're a victim of all this too... in your own way, he said lightly. "Even if you say you did it to yourself, this situation gave you the opportunity to do it in the first place. Things like this don't happen on their own. He tried to sit up, wincing as he did so as he continued on. "I can only assume that you threw them away so you couldn't hurt Rose... Yuki, and all the others. I mean, I would probably do that in your situation if I didn't see an out. But at the same time...

He turned to Seifer, looking him dead in the eye with a serious expression. "If you don't do anything, people are going to keep getting hurt. That's what I told myself after I came out of the Reverse. If I just sit and do nothing, others will face the same fate. If you really try that hard not to be a General, who's to say they won't get someone else that's more willing? And without you there to help... I mean, Yuki lost today... I know she and everyone else need everything they can get. And let's be serious... you've got a much better chance at making a difference in this than I ever would." By his tone and words, he obviously wasn't angry at him, nor did he distrust him. With all that happened, he understood his reasoning. At the same time, his comics taught him, With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility. If he didn't take responsibility and do something about this, who really would?

Seifer sighed out softly shaking his head for a moment before looking out the window. Surely he made sense, but he didn't actually understand. Might as well explain starting with the scar. "I shouldn't be alive right now." that came out of no where. It seemed out of place. The male hesitated for a moment before looking back at the male. "Yuki nee-san was in a fit of rage, to the point that it would be impossible to calm her down without doing what I did. I just did it. I didn't think about the consequences, my body just acted. I let myself be impaled on the blade, since I couldn't get to her any other way and hugged her so she couldn't move away. ...My existence as a general... That revelation coupled with the reverse fighter that was there at the time drove her over the edge. ...It was my existence." he cut off at that point looking out the window. "...I died there. And yet somehow I'm still here... Like some kind of fairy tail." he intentionally left out key details, like the light but oh well. "My existence hurt someone I considered family. So how do you explain that?"

Darren looked down at what he said. There wasn't much he could even say to that. The idea that he died, that the scar was a fatal one and somehow he was back here  and now. From being teleported up a mountain to manifesting a giant robot to punch a scythe wielding clown dragon in the face, Darren wasn't going to disbelieve his words. At the same time, the idea that him being around hurt people...

"I'd start by saying that your death probably would hurt them a lot more than anything you could do in life... What you did was pretty stupid, but I've already done close to the same since being here. As far as you being around, in my comics... and it might be weird to compare this to those... even if the hero is at a point where they should die, they find a way to come back. That's because they still have something important to do. Maybe you're still here because there's something important YOU still have to do. Are you really going to be able to do it if you give up now? Even if you are one of them, if that's your fate... isn't it your choice at the end of the day whether you do that or not? I mean... I saw when you lost control, but if that is a part of you, isn't there a way to at least take the General out even if not the whole thing?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Hotel
Post by: Cipher Izanagi on October 06, 2015, 01:39:46 AM
When Darren spoke again, he felt some kind of connection, since he himself had made similar comparisons. "Well, I won't say it's weird. I mean... I think, I count as a zombie... Or Vampire?... ...I think I like vampire better. In any case, everything has seemed like a manga or anime lately so you're not off about your comparison. ..." he waited for a moment before sighing out again and looking outside once more. "There is merit I guess in what you say. But life doesn't always work like comics, or manga, or anime... Even like this. If there's some sappy ending to this story I'm done." he joked about that really. He was opening a bit more which was a good sign at least, counter acting what he'd said. "I'll keep what you said in mind I guess before I decide what I want to do. For now, I'm going to stay away from my decks. Can't reverse me if you can't fight me and I can run away."

Darren listened to him intently, seeing his decision. His crack made him smile as well. He wasn't all business at least. Talking to him like this was a good change from the norm. They never really did have time to talk with all that happened. He was about to speak when he remembered his phone went off before Seifer had walked in. He knew it was late but he saw it was Yukino.

Seeing the text made him think of Seifer's words in a different light. He looked up at the male and said, "You're not wrong about that, but if you do that... what about everyone else? Yuki won't run... and she lost today. If it happened again she could get Reversed like we did... if not worse. Speaking of which, wasn't Noel... Reversed as well? Are you really okay with leaving things like that to chance and fate when you might very well have the power to save them? Even if running does save them in a way... I don't think I could do that. Not that you lose any respect from me for making a choice like that."

"Protecting someone isn't just about fighting." he spoke a quote he'd heard once somewhere. Where did he hear it from? Oh well. "As for Noel. ...I know. I'm going to figure something out. About Yuki-Nee-san... I'm not sure, I'm really not sure if I could face her right now. But you're... I guess you're right." he sighed before turning slightly to walk toward the door, his hands still in his pockets. "...I'm going to go now. There's... With what I gained I guess. Thanks. Try not to let yourself die. Pretty sure she's into you sort of." he had no way to justify what he said as he walked out, shutting the door behind him and walking down the row of doors. Oh right, his phone buzzed. Checking it, it was... Haruka? The message was blank but. ...He'd message tomorrow. Him and Yukino. He needed to apologize to the person who considered herself a soldier.

Darren's face became a crimson red after his last comment as he walked out. Did he really just say that? It didn't matter. He shook his head as he thought about what he said. 'Protesting someone isn't just about fighting.' That was true, but these invaders wouldn't just stop if they asked nicely. Oh well, Darren was sure he would make the right choice. He decided to reply to Yukino.

I'm not really going anywhere. I'll be in Room [Insert Room Number]. See you tomorrow, Yuki.

With that done, he closed his eyes, preparing to go to sleep. He had actually eaten a lot of his meal.

Diablo had checked several area such as the amusement park and the regional hall, but no matter how hard he looked he could not find any hint or sense towards finding this madman.

"...How can I find him...he needs to be somewhere, it's already been an hour....was it a bluff?" he thought, as he kept from building to building and continued running, scanning the area around him.

He stopped near the hotel building now that a few minutes had passed after the hour, but nothing happened...that was until he he heard that terrifying sound.

"...No...No!" he shouted, as he turned to find the hotel building beginning to catch fire.

Dropping the last of his torches he watches as the flames began to spread in the hotel room. He had made sure to set a fire in every floor. He puts back his mask and jumps out of the window. Tomoda landed on his feet and got on his motorcycle. He started the engine and driven off on the road. He gave one last look as the hotel is engulfed in flames.

"One down."

Darren was just beginning to awaken. He felt better after eating but his wounds were still only a day old. Luckily Xateramusa did a better job patching him up then he had done for himself. He started to smell smoke as he looked around. Why is it getting hot around here? It didn't take long to put two and two together. As soon as he did, Darren jumped up. The place was on fire.

Unfortunately for Darren, he couldn't actually materialize units under normal means. Gorescue would be able to save him from something like this if he could. He went for the window, but it was already hot and hard to touch. Trying would re-injure him AGAIN. "After all that's happened... I'm not getting burned alive..." he muttered as he tried to go low, getting below the smoke.

The hotel room had begun to engulf in flames, he could not stand by and watch this, so he took out his phone and dialed for fire fighters ambulances just in case. He did notice one man get on a motorcycle before storming off, he knew it was the general but he could not go stop him and leave the flames to do too much and harm people....just the sight of the flaming structure gave him a bad memory.

"Tch...He's insane!" he said, as lunged at the building, grabbing as many fire extinguishers as he can to help slow down the flame spread. With his impressive speed and precise aim he was able to keep most floors from getting a lot of damage "Do you hear me general?! This place won't burn!" he shouted as he extinguished most of the flames with enough speed.

As he continued helping people evacuate he found a hotel room that was going to almost be doused in flames as he opened the door he saw a face he could not forget, "..Darren...No I have to help him." he said, as he doused some of the flames, picked up Darren's body and jumped from the window to the ground making sure that he got immediate help just in case, before he jumped back to continue his efforts.

Thankfully a few moments later the fire fighters arrived and helped completely put out the flame and evacuate individuals. With the building secured, Diablo jumped from a window onto another building rooftop, coughing and struggling, "-cough--cough-...He's serious...I can't stand here any longer the situation is being dealt with...I have to stop that madman!" he said, as he leapt from his spot and ran to the next area he can check hoping to arrive before the general does.

As Darren was trying to think of a pathway out of the burning building, his eyes widened as he saw a man in a mask enter and grab him. He looked familiar. Was he someone from the Shopping District? Whoever he was, it was ripped straight out of one of Darren's comics. A masked hero who enters at just the right time to save the day.

When he was outside, he took a deep breath of fresh air, after coughing out the bad air a bit first. He looked up at the guy from his seated position and said, "What the heck... Is this some kind of anime or something?" He didn't really have time for gratitude as the male left. He wondered who it was, not really able to see anything about the obvious hints because he was too busy thinking about the fact that he was just the damsel of a manga.

He looks around in notices why the people were in such dismay the hotel his friend Xatermusa was staying in is completely ruined.  Mikaela could only imagine how his friend Xat was feeling. Yugure approached the hotel Darren informed her of. ... Or rather, the blazing remnants of it. The Fire Department had already arrived, but the damage was done. The confused, dazed masses outside began calming themselves, seeing the flames put out. Some spoke of a masked hero who helped save a boy stuck inside. Hopefully an ally... The soldier quickly spotted Darren, and approached him.

"Are you alright?" The woman inquired.

Darren smiled slightly as he waved to Yukino. He stood from his sitting position and said, "I'm okay. Just glad my friend Xat was out when it happened. I was the only one there and some guy in a mask got me out. Sounds weird just saying it..." He looked around for a moment, hoping Xat didn't try to go inside the hotel to get him. At least the fire was out so it wasn't... technically dangerous.

"Glad to see you're doing well, Yuki." This was likely the first time he called her that and he did it without thinking at all. After all, he did have other things on his mind. He technically wasn't even fully recovered from his injuries yet.

Oh, so Darren was the damsel who was saved. "I'm glad you're alright. This masked fellow seems like someone I'm going to have to interrogate at some point."

Saying that, hearing "Yuki" got some irritation from her. Honestly, those close in terms of relationship with her could call her Yukino, she didn't mind all that much. However, she wanted Yukino Espoir to die off, and hearing a nickname for her brought annoyance. Regardless...

"I hate to bring this up while you're recovering, but I need you to tell me about the scythe - about Chaos Breaker."

Darren had heard of her Yukino name from Seifer, though inadvertently because he was listening on their conversation about Haruka at the time. Still it was much better as a name then Yugure... and easier to remember as well. "Sure thing, Yuki," he said as he didn't realize it had bothered her. He sat down lightly on the floor as he started to think about it.

"Well, it happened at the Culture Festival. He was wearing a cloak at the time so I couldn't see that it was a dragon or anything. I challenged him to a fight because I had just had one with Hana. Next thing I know I lose my rears and I can't do anything. Daiyusha loses and then I'm Reversed... but I know I saw that blade within the situation. I dunno how much all of that helps."

Slightly scowling at "Yuki" again, she listened to his story. This was the second time she heard of the culture festival, and was beginning to believe everything started there. Wearing a cloak, however, shouldn't be able to mask the enormous structure of a dragon. "So you fought against his user", she deduced. This explains how Daiyusha lost, despite his ridiculously righteous fortitude. Caught off guard and losing allies... just like how... Yugure folded her arms, giving a somewhat infuriated breath.

"Blade?" She questioned. Chaos Breaker used a scythe, not a sword.

"At the time, I just saw the red metal stabby part," Darren said, more simply than he should have. "Not a lot of blades are red and I recognized it when that big Dragon had it in the Shopping District.

Darren's head then rose as he heard Xateramusa calling out to him. He stood up waving his hand upward as he said, ""Xat! I'm over here with my friend, Yuki! Almost burnt up but I'm alright!"

He then looked back to Yugure and said, "Anyway, if you take it on before I do, know that it doesn't just lock stuff like the other Link Joker deck did... My units were literally gone. Retired. It felt the same when I fought that Oshiro guy too... His Dauntless unit left Daikaiser fighting alone."

Oh, so he was still referring to the scythe. Red weapons were quite unique, even among Dragon Empire's flame dragons and Dragon Knights. So that ghastly thing during the Shopping District's catastrophe was Chaos Breaker. Nebula Lord's presence at the time was undeniable as well, meaning all the generals had been gathered in that place. They didn't even fully realize it until now. This was good, however, as the generals had latched onto people on Earth, meaning they were in range of swift and harsh deaths.

The thought of getting to kill a commander made her blood boil.

After Darren called out to his friend, she listened to his observations. So those bound by a spell get retired... Maybe Liberators weren't the right choice for this. Jewel Knights would be even worse off. Revengers, however, dodged Lock with their own brutal tactic: retiring each other first. That could be key.

Raging Form was thrilled to know he'd be able to fight a commander.

Yugure spoke: "My name is Yugure" when Darren's friend arrived.

Darren gave a smile as he accepted the hand of Xat's friend. His smile was somewhat odd, but there was nothing wrong with a friendly smile. It was stranger that he didn't say anything. He then turned his attention back to Yugure and said, "Yeah, Yuki here has helped me out with everything that's been happening and I am helping her with that Reverse stuff as much as I can. Oh, Yuki, speaking of that... Have you talked to Seifer at all?" He remembered Seifer being one of the Generals and not wanting to fight because of the risk that could come of it. Before she could walk away, Darren placed his hand on her shoulder. He felt like he needed to tell her what Seifer told him. It would only make things more difficult if she didn't know. "Yuki, there's something you need to know first..." He swallowed a bit as he didn't know how to say it.

"Seifer... he's going through a rough time..." he said to her. "You probably really need to talk to him. He threw all his decks out saying he doesn't want to take a chance at hurting anyone he cares about. Something tells me he doesn't really want to do that but he might feel like he has to. "I'm gonna make sure there's no problems when I can, but until then I think you're right... He turned as he wondered what his friends were doing. If he didn't secure a way to keep up with her outside of a kind of ability he didn't actually understand, he might never see her again. He walked up to her and gave her a piece of paper. His number was on it.

"You said yourself that I can't do much for them until I recover... Besides I can't use my deck's full strength until I do. Darren found the nearest hotel, looking around as it did look pretty fancy. He grinned lightly as he said, "This place is perfect. No reason to go cheap if I'm not paying for it."

Deplorable actions are not becoming of a hero.

I say its a good idea. I mean we came here to fight Link Joker. No reason we have to shack up to do it.

That's right! We should go all out to prepare for our own battles!

Daiyusha wasn't sure how this would help them prepare for anything, but he was outvoted in this case. Darren went to the front gate and got himself a room. He was convinced not to get anything too extravagant so he went up to his room, sighing lightly. He would have wanted to bring Xat as well, like before when he was injured, but she had Mikaela to look after. He was certain she wouldn't agree to share a room with him if she didn't need to. He blinked lightly as he wondered why he even thought about her at a time like this. It didn't make sense what was special about her when Noel and Rose seemed to be in trouble. Probably didn't mean anything.

Darren yawned as he awoke to the new day. He felt bad about leaving when he did, but now that he'd had some time to rest, he would be of even more help to the cause. At least that was what he told himself. He grabbed his deck and his things as he prepared to go out again.

How exactly do you plan to get in?

We were already invited, weren't we? I'll just knock on the front door.

Another day and a half of waiting? No thanks. Let's just sneak in.

That is a crime. We can't do such things!

"We were invited anyway so its just making ourselves at home. Besides, its for the sake of ending the Reverse, isn't it?", he said aloud. He had gotten used to talking to them both to the point that it wasn't strange when he was by himself. "Next stop... back to wherever we just were!"
