Title: (GS3) Field: Gotem City : Central Square
Post by: Hope on October 07, 2015, 03:28:56 PM
Field Status
A nearby town full of skyscrapers.
Full of multiple colors of pink, a fluffy town for all.
Despite this, the town has the best police force in Japan.
Not meant to be G*tham City in any way.
Inspector Gordeen sits in the police station, sipping on coffee.

What is a field?
A field is an area where events between characters or even individual characters may happen. As replies to these posts, characters may chronicle events that transpire between each other which would often be as a result of or due to a Cardfight. Field events are great ways to develop characters as well as character relationships. Field events, for example, could include a Cardfight as part of a rivalry between two individuals. It can be something as simple as a simple outing or meeting that then leads to a game of Vanguard. Or something that would greatly move the plot, a fight between someone of the heroic affinity and someone of the villainous affinity.

Remember, Cray is looking for the best of the best to be a leader. This does not mean that the leader has to be filled with good intentions, its anyone who the cards seem to decide is fit. Heroes can do as much as they can, but without villains pushing the story forward with their schemes, there isn't much to save. So if you are on the villainous side, use these areas to move along with your plots and schemes. You may ask others to come and roleplay with you and anyone can post in these areas, there is no limit other than that of being logical and simply just being respectful to your fellow fighters.

Any character that you interact with during field events may get affinity +1 or -1 with you.
Certain fields may have special events and things happening there in order to start up some action.

Post events that transpire below based on you character's own perspective, and just have fun with it!
Good luck!

Hikaru was reminiscing about the time he was taken here after the operation against the syndicate was a complete success. There were a few new buildings and shops last time he was here. He was just a scared little boy that hated the world for taking his parents away from him. Hikaru is leaning on his motorcycle as he waited. He just wanted to be hear before he disappeared. Having his last desire with his Rival and then Isolate himself from the world, this way he won't have to hurt anyone anymore.

Hikaru suddenly felt a jolt of pain coursing through his brain, holding his head with his hand as he heard the voice of the bearer of Nebula Lord speak in his mind. "I am bringing the Chosen Sword and our traitor to my residence. If you'd like to join in on the harvest, I will make arrangements immediately. It cut off from their but he had enough, he was done hurting anyone, he won't be their puppet any longer.

"Is that a wise decision boy.."Freeze Ray spoke in his mind clearly amused with his decision. Freeze Ray had been interested in his hosts development of his link joker. So much emptiness in his heart and yet he was starting to feel, gaining a sense of self. "Your heart is locked, your mind submits, your body is bounded yet why must you resist."  He said nothing as their minds were in a stand still.

The Princess walked into the city with her gear. It seems that the concentration of reverse wasn't as heavy here as it was for other areas. That then brings the question of the Underground King's state to her mind. She walked through the streets illuminated by city lights, the builds sporting multiple neon colors. The skyline was lively with helicopters and planes flying about, this was a different town all on it's own. Her concerts usually sell out here so she had quite a nice attachment to this area.

"Hey." The Princess stopped in her tracks, seeing the one whom invited her leaning on his motorcycle. The traces of reverse were still powerful. The units spoke to her, alerting her.

Hana flashed back to her conversation from earlier on today.

"This is a job for you and the Angel Feathers. Genesis and Oracle Think Tank are collaborating with Great Nature to analyze the information which you've given us while the knights of the Sanctuary are worn from yesterday's operation." The King spoke.
"Your highness, but... Angel Feather is also worn..." The Princess objected.
"It's a battle against one of the Link Joker generals. Nociel along with one of the higher angels were confident that if they were with you they could do this. Pacifica and Meer spoke highly saying that you were able to do this... with your power."
"My power..."
"The power to defeat a general of Link Joker and unseal a heart lock." The King finished her statement.

"So why did you call me out here? Not to sing a song together or anything I assume." She fixed her coat as well as her hat as she looked at him.

He gets off his motorcycle as he heard Hope's arrival. He had gotten out of his internal debate with Freeze Ray Dragon for now he'll put it aside this needed to be done. With hands in his pocket Hikaru walks up to the princess of cray. This was it, after this he's gone, he wont hurt anyone again.

"Hope I have a request...no my last wish." He took out his void powered deck. "I want to have one last cardfight with you my rival." Hikaru's reverse spike sigils illuminated on his face as he glowed in an intense red aura.

She was caught a little off guard by the fact, though, its mostly because she's never considered anyone her rival before. Though she didn't mind. It seems that the conditions for this fight are that it would be the last one before sending the Underground King off, though to where or why is a mystery to her. In usual circumstances, this would usually be a friendly fight, but with that intense void energy around him, with the added fact that he was a general of Link Joker, it was hard to see this as a something casual.

"Last Cardfight?" She asked, "You're still a general aren't you? Nande nande? What's going on?"

"I'll tell you everything. In this fight." The voided fields appeared in front of them as the wind began to swirl around around the underground king. The area itself changed into vast space as a million stars dimly shined in the darkness of space. Hikaru's sigils intensified in a bright light while his eyes were filled with nothingness. Glancing at her once again.

"I need to disappear."

"I don't see the need for you to disappear, but I'll hear you out." She placed her deck on the panel, embedding light wthin her eyes and brightening up the surrounding field, causing the light of the stars to pierce through the space. "Freeze Ray and Dark Band on the other hand though."

There was a chill up her spine, it was something about this fight, what he called her, "his rival." It was a strange giddy feeling and as out of place it was, she didn't want to disappoint nor hold back. The Princess was grinning at the thought, something clicked in her mind, as if this was something she had long awaited.

Despite the illumination of the stars, the void danced across the two, gradually increasing in power within the space heralding the beginning of the fight. Energy levels arose as she glared upon her opponent in anticipation. Light and darkness in the area already fought for dominance within the space.

"My hiatus is over, I'm ready to have a re-debut."

He fell to his knees without a sound as Hikaru is in the process of being unreversed as the cold bloody black aura surrounded him. Purging the remains of Link Joker out of his body. Hikaru was then suddenly pulled into his mindscape by Freeze Ray Dragon.

<In Hikaru's mindscape>
Hikaru opened his eyes as he found himself in a vast space of darkness where a million light dimmed with in the dark clouds. He found himself standing on a large pillar of a stained glass. The stained glass was a royal blue hue and it had a black and red ring as a symbol. Signifying the presence of an outsider in his heart. Hikaru then looked around until he saw his image on the stained glass and he saw nothing else next to he is image. His heart has always been locked. Link Joker had nothing to do with his heart being closed, it already was as sad as it is. He felt something behind him and turned around.

He saw himself, except he was younger and he looked absolutely terrified. Hikaru went over to him and crouched down to his height. "What's wrong?" Overly concerned with his past self.

"I'm afraid of hurting people again.."He twitted with his thumps as he looked at the stained glass. Refusing to look at the present Hikaru in the eye. "The bad things I done are my sins..I made people go away because of me." Hikaru's eyes widen as he figured out who exactly he is. This isn't his younger self. This was... his true self. A large blood red vanguard circle appeared above them as Freeze Ray fell through it.

"It seems your acquainted with one another." Freeze Ray chuckled as the younger Hikaru then got closer to the older Hikaru as he held him. "What do you want. You should of been gone already." That fact was true, he's in the process of being unreversed and lose his link joker status. If the dragon could smile, he would. "On the contrary you were a useful host. One with so much potential and so much negativity in your heart that it would be a shame just to give you up." Hikaru gave the dragon a hard glare as his hatred sky rocketed. "So your saying that you won't let me go? Your going to use me against my will to hurt more people!?" He's furious at his former partner. "Yes..with you in the process of being unreversed I can Hi-jack your body and mind and reinstate you as reverse,."

"No." The younger him stated and looked at the dragon with cold eyes with a small spark of Hope. Young Hikaru let go of the older Hikaru as he went over to Freeze Ray. "We won't let you use us just to make people go away." The enraged younger Hikaru shouted at the stark white dragon as it reeked an ice cold aura. Present Hikaru then stood by his younger self. "Even if you try to take my body, then we'll just keep on fighting back until you disappear then we'll  pay for our sins." Hikaru began to release his cerulean blue aura as he looked at the dragon, clearly not giving into his ideal form.

The Baffled dragon looked at the boys and then he saw two figures behind them. The Blue King of Death Army and the Kaiser of Nova Graaple. They both appeared to be ready to stand by Hikaru and protect him from the influence of Freeze Ray"Why don't you just submit! This world will end and i'll make sure that you'll be the last to suffer." Freeze Ray began to protest but the being knew it was futile.

"I won't submit because of the hope for the future. I realized in my fight that I have to fight in order to secure a future for the next generation so it'll never happen again." He puts his hand over his chest and increases his glare. "Now get out of my heart!" The dragon grunted in disbelief as it shattered into bright white pixels as the black and red rings began to glow white and they shattered as it's replaced with a black crown. the four open circles blazed in a white light as it is filled with images of Hana, Tsubasa, Haruka and Cosmo Lord. Hikaru then turned to his younger self. "We'll go together." He outstreched his hand and offering it to the boy. Young Hikaru hesitated then grasps onto the present Hikaru as the present one gave a small smile. They turned to the vast dark sky and in unison they uttered.

"Open..The..Door." Their hearts blended as a bright blue light takes them.

Hikaru was pulled back into reality as the reverse finally left his body and towards the sky. Hikaru stood up and looked at Hana and smiled. The oblivion looked distorted as it new form shattered, returning to the bleak darkness of the underground king.

"Looks like I got a lot of explaining to do." His midnight hair flowed in the wind.

"Metatron, Nociel, let's go together!" Hana commanded the units by her side.
"Don't forget me as well!" Ramiel joined in.

As the reverse energy fluctuated, Hikaru was seemingly fighting his own battle, one within his mind.

A general's reverse was stronger than the usual and couldn't be lifted by normal means as it was. It seems that he was fighting back too, just like everyone was. She stretched out her hand which wore the bracelet coated by reverse energy.

"Release his heart!" She commanded.

A mixture of light and darkness coated the Underground King's body, forcing the two commanding units out. Dark Band and Freeze Ray Dragon. A roar came upon the field from the two units. First was Dark Band Dragon, charging with a its blade and clashing with Metatron and Nociel, but it's hold on the king didn't seem to be the strongest as Freeze Ray Dragon stayed at it's back, transferring it's energy back to the King. Hana shot a small concentrate ball of light, breaking through its darkness with a brief explosion. A blow from Metatron's weapon and Nociel's arrow caused it to fall to to ground.

"Four Damage!" Nociel cheered.
"Let go of him!" Hana screamed at Freeze Ray.

Freeze Ray Dragon emerged from it's state of stasis, but it's hold was still on Hikaru as it shot blasts of the void at Hana and her units. Ramiel took the role of defending and accompanying the Princess as she moved away from them. Metatron was able to get a clear shot, piercing the dragon with the blade of her lance, but the void energy which coated it nullified the effects. Nociel flew close by for follow-up.

"No, Nociel!" Dont do that! Baka!" Hana warned.
Freeze Ray Dragon locked Nociel.

The darkness within his heart fueled the Dragon's power. Freeze Ray Dragon roared loudly above the Princess and her angels.

"What do we now, Princess?" Ramiel asked.
"Give me one of your weapon key-thingymabobs." Hana asked.
"These are scissors." Ramiel informed with a bit of an offended tone.
"What? You're a fangirl of Ezel now just because he saved you the other day? That can wait, give me one of your keys!"
"...but, Scissors... why... key?" Ramiel handed The Princess one.

Hana took the key-like weapon and pointed it at Freeze Ray Dragon and a circular outline of light formed on the tip of her weapon.

"Now get out of my heart!" She heard Hikaru's voice and grinned, saying something similar.

"Now get out of his heart! I will unlock the heart lock with this key!!"
"Oh my god." Ramiel facepalmed.

Hana shot a small laser of light, piercing through Freeze Ray Dragon and causing it to fall next to Dark Band. Nociel was freed from the lock. The reverse energy was beginning to leave the Hikaru as Hana pointed the key-like weapon towards the two fallen dragons. Her angels joined hands with her. A large formation of light in the shape of keyhole at the top of her blade.

They key hole blast thing blew up the two dragons.

Afterwards, the dark space faded and the wind of the city began to blow again. "Looks like I got a lot of explaining to do."

Hana took a deep breath, walking up towards him, nodding. She placed her deck back into it's case and fixed her hat as well as her coat. Moving around and being up close to explosions tend to mess those things up.

"Haha... er, yeah. You can do that as we head back. So, you wanna start?"

Sky stared at the depths of the city with a smile. Behind him lied a young man now tied up and unconcious. Sky payed the man no mind, e had something bigger on his mind. Sky picked up his phone and texted Tsubasa's number which he had gotten during the camping trip.

"Tsubasa I've figured out how to get Stern back!! meet me at the tallest Skyscraper in Gotem City and I'll explain more. Please friend, you're the only one who can help me.

Sky tapped the send button and his grin grew wider. "And now we wait"

"Right." Hikaru walks over to the Oblivion and grabs a spare helmet from the compartment. He puts his helmet on and throws the extra helmet towards Hope.

"I'll explain on the way."

She removes her hat and takes the helmet. "I've never quite ridden on one of these before." Hana shivered a little as she went aboard the motorcycle, placing the helmet on her head, "Alright, fire away."

"Hehe..don't you worry. You'll enjoy it." Playfully stated by the king of the underground as he ignites the engine of the oblivion. "Right lets go!" Pushing the pedal as he kicks it in overdrive and speeding off on the road. He gets to the bridge that connects Gotem city and Hoshiko. Hikaru decides to break the ice.

"Look, i'm sorry for ignoring you every time we meet. It's just I was afraid."

"No need to apologize, kind of my fault that I get peeved by it."

She didn't know where to place her hands, but she sure had to place them somewhere. On his shoulder? Around his torso? Also her hat was trying to go flying in about fifty different places at once and the loud roaring of the engines almost gave her a heart attack and still continuing to do so. Furthermore, there was the added bonus that he was probably speeding more so that her driver, Mr. Tokyo Drift-san. After overcoming internal conflict and nearly falling off, she decided to place her arms around him, because whatever, the lack of protection to keep her from falling with this speed and the wind blowing was scaring the heck out of her. Plus, what the heck was this flimsy helmet going to do rather than give her a false sense of protection? Sure, it might cushion the blow enough to where she'll get a 50 year coma instead of dying, but then her bones would still break into a hundred pieces if she falls. Okay yes, she literally just went head to head with two alien dragons from a galaxy far far away, but riding a motorcycle was sure more scary than that her power to control light and some darkness can't help here here.

Hana was in a state of panic altogether, but overall she put her arms around him just cause it seems like he needed a hug. Hana leaned her head against his back for more reassurance. No matter what happens, I can't fall now.

"Afraid of what though?... Really, I was mostly angry because of how people always ignored me and always took notice of my sister at the time, thinking I couldn't protect myself and all. Anyways, no hard feelings."

A black figure stood on one of the skyscrapers of Gotem City, all he wanted was to save someone close to his heart but now he's not sure, based on the message he received from Sky there might be some involvement between the two.

"What could Sky possibly gain from getting involved with that madman...the description does not fit, I need to check out the situation fully.." he thought, as he jumped from the skyscraper, and began jumping from the sides of buildings and towers in order to find the location.

Upon locating the tallest Skyscraper of Gotem City, Diablo climbed it with ease arriving just under the roof as he took this chance to see what is happening above it. To his immediate surprise he found Sky, guarding an unconscious boy, Haruto...

"...Can I really do this...can I save Haruto without Diablo's power...if I go up there as Diablo my cover is blown for sure....tell me my avatars...." he thought.

"-deck begins to glow- We stand by you always our Vanguard."

"..Liberators...-sees his friends standing next to him-...-clenches deck and takes off mask-...Today...I'm going to save Sky and Haruto." he said, as he took off the coat, and wore his jacket.

With that Tsubasa jumped to the roof area as he raised his head to face Sky, "...I did not think you would be involved in this, but what is this about Stern?" he asked, as he walked up to Sky.

Sky's smile grew as he saw Tsubasa's arrival. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpkeAQG6kQw "Amazing entrance, really flashy, it suits you Tsubasa! The reason I called you here my foe is because you're the only one who can help me get Stern back.... And the way you can do that is by dying for me! I've got quite the proposal for you Tsubasa-chan! Usually i'd say something like let's fight! If you win you get to stop another reversed person, and if I win i prove to Stern how much stronger I've gotten. But  that's not enough is it?! Let's kick this up a notch!" Sky said now pointing to two platforms on the roof. "I've had time to set this up you see. A flashy fight for a flashy guy like you! We'll fight on these surfaces and once you take six damage the corresponding platform will shoot up sending whoever takes said damage flying off this roof and plummeting to their death!"

"CAN'T YOU IMAGINE IT TSUBASA?!!!!!!!!!!!! The passionate fight we'll have when both our lives are on the line?! I'm shaking with excitement just thinking about it! So what do you say Tsubasa.....my FOOOOOOOEEEEE?!" Sky screamed grasping his head. As his reddish black aura began to gush out.

"Yes partner give more into the darkness! Soon Stern will return to you just let it consume you more!"

Tsubasa was surprised by Sky's proposition, it definitely was something exhilarating, but it was also something to be careful about apparently Haruto's rope was attached to the device that would fling Tsubasa away should he lose the cardfight, he could not be sure if he could save his brother and himself from such a situation, the stakes were high but in order to save his friend and his brother he needed to indulge this request.

"I don't intend on dying because if I do my brother will as well...I will help you get Stern but first...I will get you out of that power!" he said, as he took his position and took out his deck.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpkeAQG6kQw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpkeAQG6kQw)

As the two set their units on the red fight tables, thunder began to howl in the skies, it looked to be quite an eventful evening, but for the two of them it, involved life and death.

"....No one dies today...Stand Up! Vanguard!" he shouted, as the two stood their units.

Keeping his eyes on the road while steadying himself and Hope on the oblivion. As he answered Hope's question. "I was afraid of losing people. Most of my life every time I made a connection with someone they disappear from my life. When it happened again I just decided to close off my heart."

"I see."

The motor was calming no. At least the noises kept her awake and thinking, not that she was falling asleep, but it was just the good kind of noise now. The kind that accompanied her thoughts. The motor and turning rubber colliding with the loose gravel on the road had a steady rhythm with the occasional variation when the gas pedal would be stepped on. Hana wasn't really good with words of reassurance, but she decided to give it a try.

"It's fine now, the people who you know now aren't going to disappear easily. We blew up a whole shopping district and they're still alive for the most part." She laughed.

"hm..I guess. Now why I called you here, aside from the cardfight. I was planning to isolate myself from the world. I came to this conclusion after reversing Tsubasa's friend Fei in a cardfight and heard about this Hazama character who fit the description of one of the people I reversed." He had a solemn look on his face as he continued to steady and steer the motorcycle on the bridge. "All the people I reversed and their actions..all my fault. Their sins were my sins, they're actions were my doing. People that I didn't reverse ended up causing mayhem like that Oshiro guy.

He thought back to Oshiro. He remembered him to be somewhat of a pacifist, they were aware of each other but never really interacted until they fought in the forest. Even then no one won as he had discovered his heart problems. "One of my worst moments was abandoning Cosmo Lord when I became reversed."

"Well, it's not like you had much of a choice on how to act since the void clouded your heart and mind. I know how it felt to be reversed. It let me kept my own personality, giving the illusion that I had the freedom to do as I wished, yet I really didn't. It was a complicated lie, and illusion. The invaders are really cruel." Hana sent a quick text to her sister. "By the way let's head over to the Espoir Manor, I'll show you the way." Once again he was like her, "I abandoned Nociel once as well, even saying mean things to her because I was so angry. The best way to make up for it was to just apologize really..."

"I.... I lost?!" Sky was shocked he couldn't believe that his new strength had failed to beat Tsubasa. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!! THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE!" ETHICS screamed writhing in pain.
"You failed me partner, now not only will Stern never return, but now you're gonna die!" Ethics voice began to fade as Sky gripped his body in pain.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Sky screamed as the black red aura exited his body.
As the reverse left him, the pain subsided, but Sky had no time to even collect his thoughts. The platform released and shot him into the air. Sky's body rose high until gravity kicked in and brought him crashing down, the shock caused him to pass out. So there Sky was falling towards the concrete ground at the base of the Skyscraper. Plummeting towards his death with ever increasing speed.

Gancelot Zenith had the strength to push past Ethics Reverse's power, this fight allowed Tsubasa to believe in his strength once again, it allowed him to understand that even as himself he can grow stronger for those he cares about. Unfortunately, the situation was not something to celebrate right away, before Tsubasa could retrieve his brother, Sky's platform setup shot him away causing him to plummet from the skyscraper roof.

"NOOOO!" he shouted, as he jumped from the roof to try and catch Sky, he knew that if he could then he can use his abilities as Diablo and get them to safety.

Unfortunately because Sky had a head start, there was almost no way for Tsubasa to reach him in time, "..Tch, at this rate he'll hit the ground before I reach him...are you just gonna let your partner fall, answer me! Blaukluger!" he shouted.

At that moment something miraculous happened, something Tsubasa would never forget seeing....

"Hm. Right. Lead the way." Hikaru was of course not entirely convinced but he had to put some faith in Hana's words. He's baffled over fact that she seems okay with texting while holding onto him while's he driving motorcycle. He got to the side of Hoshiko as he heads to the Espoir mansion as Hana gave him directions.

As Sky fastly approached the concrete something unexpected happened; When Sky was sent flying the blaukluger deck he kept in his pocket flew out. The cards scattered all over the place and slowly fell. One of those cards a copy of Merkur Blaukluger landed on the vanguard circle of where Tsubasa and Sky were fighting. At this point the card started to glow and a figure burst out of the card. The figure zoomed down chased after Sky at a great speed catching up to his body grabbing it and flying back up to the top of the Skyscraper. The figure then dropped Sky off at Tsubasa's feet and dissipated. It left these parting words to Tsubasa "When he awakes tell him he's still not ready to wield my final form. Right now he is lost, but when he finds himself he will be ready. Also if I may ask a favor of you he who wields the Zenith. Keep him away from the darkness, for if he falls into it again I don't think he'll ever be able to recover."

The figure of light that appeared out of nowhere was something truly spectacular to witness, as it saved Sky, Tsubasa knew that this figure was his blaukluger unit so he immediately used all of his remaining strength to climb the top of the skyscraper before the figure returned, just so he can make sure Haruto was ok. When the figure returned it dropped Sky in front of him as Tsubasa stared at the shining figure.

Upon hearing it's message Tsubasa responded, "..I will do what I can, he'll get your message, and don't worry darkness won't grab him so long as I am around."

With that the figure vanished back into the cards that were scattered on the roof of the skyscraper, which Tsubasa picked up and brought back as his full 50 card deck. His next objective was untying Haruto, which he did, as the young boy awoke after some tapping and calling, Tsubasa immediately gave his brother a hug.

"..I'm glad you're safe Haruto..." he said, his eyes tearing up from the situation.
"..It's ok Aniki, I knew you would come and save me..." he said, as smiled back, his face filled with tears as well.

"..I'll make it up to you Haruto, I promise." he said, and with that he carried Sky on his shoulder and took Haruto's hand as they exited the skyscraper and made their way to the hospital back in Hoshiku.

Took us long enough. Why are we here again anyways?

Exploring the district? I don't know. Why do you insist on us only wearing sweatpants and T-Shirts?

Cause they're comfortable.

I find jeans comfortable.

Your opinion is wrong and you should feel bad.

Haruka winced a bit at that comment, allowing a frown to follow as he traveled through the unexplored area of Gotem City. He and Sera had been inside his home all evening and a majority of the morning. They spent a majority of the night watching movies, trying to bond a bit. That was extremely difficult because despite sharing some acute likes, they had a vastly higher dislike count.

With an exaggerated yawn, Haruka set out into the city. There wasn't really much to do in terms of entertainment, but a few of the shops around the area seemed to be open in the square. Even Sera agreed that'd be the best place to look for now in search of a way to kill of this boredom. Where to first is the question....

Neu stood on a building overlooking Gotem. She felt like a bit of a chunni here as this was similar to the setting of her "MatMan" comics that she enjoyed reading in her free time. She has actually been reading more recently since working as a clerk at Shop Handsome. Over at the distance.

Is it a nerd? Is it a plane? Its-!?

A nerd. A really nerdy nerd in sweatpants. The lover boy. She decided to approach him by jumping off the building and waving hello. "Hello." Neu greeted.

With a spin on his heels, they turned to face Neu.

Sera had a burning hatred for this woman, for whatever reason. Haruka knew this much, but the image of why was extremely blurry. Seems even Sera doesn't know what he holds against this woman grudgewise. Maybe he just really doesn't like her as a general thing? Weird.

Haruka holds on opinions. Not really anyways.

"Yahellooo, Neu. Been a while, eh?" He turned back around for a moment, looking in the window of an antique shop debating buying a little music box in there. It looked really well-made, mahogany and everything. Sadly it was a bit more experience, even in Sera's eyes the value of that box looked rather extreme. He pouted for a moment, then turned to Neu once more with his hands neatly folded behind his head.

"Sup?"

Man, we gotta take turns. It's weird otherwise.

Sorry, sorry. I'll be quiet for now.

"Yeah man I saw your gf get stabbed the other day. It was pretty brutal, but there was no blood which was weird because I swear she loses 50 liters per wound. Haha." What a sense of humor.

She scratched the back of her head and noticed a sticker stuck to her hair. Must be from work.
"Minerva SP: 50$"

Rngesus Christ these prices are getting more and more ridiculous.
Why the hell are we using dollars in Japan?

"So lover boy, how the coffee bizz going? I want you to know I myself got a job, working as a pirate over at Shop Handsome!"

"The coffee business is over with. You saw the shopping district, right? It's totally destroyed."

Haruka scratched his head and stretched, somewhat upset at the outcome. To be fair, he was involved in it's destruction too but...

"What about you? A pirate? Doesn't suit you, just saying. You seem more, er godly, I guess." He smiled, awkwardly scratching his chin. Talking to Neu like this was just strange. He had always found her to be a bit intimidating for some reason. Maybe she was just too familiar of a person to him.

Now that his brother is in Hawaii it was time for Tsubasa to continue on his mission to find the psycho who's been playing his sick games on him for the past few days. He still has no idea who it could be, he can fairly tell that he's not specifically targetting Tsubasa Hayato, but he's still not sure. To test this he chose to walk through the street of Gotem keeping an eye out for the people around him, trying to see any standout things that would give him any hints.

"...This is ridiculous...I know I don't standout as Tsubasa...but I have no leads....what should i do?" he thought, as he continued walking nearby several shops in the streets of Gotem City.

"Godly? Flattering. Why you destroy the Shopping District like that man, my favorite fish ball restaurant was there." Neu had a sad face.

Internally she was thinking about how she had just met another person with multiple personalities. Interesting. She also felt another presence, more familiar now. She thought to herself before shrugging and continuing to speak.

"I could rebuild it, but y'know, too much work."

"It's not like I entirely did it. Hana too. And I mean. Well everyone started Cardfighting and units started materializing and just, uh, yeah. Lots of stuff got broken too." Haruka tilted his head trying to dig through his memory well to figure out the details of the night. Most of them were blurry, probably because Sera still had full control at the time. Also Haruka was dead so, that too.

"Is it really? I mean, you could just poof it altogether right. Like a wizard?" Haruka foolishly waves his hands around, pretending he's holding a wand. Casts a spell. Pretends to poof something back to existence. But nothing actually happened, sadly.

"Like that?"

Why do you always make us look dumb?

What I do?

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

He'd been walking for hours, asking people and taking not of things around him, but so far no changes have happened. The mystery madman either was able to keep himself well-hidden or Tsubasa was just not looking in the right location.

"-sigh-...where else should I look..." he thought as he continued walking.

As he continued his stroll he spotted two familiar faces that he had not seen in a while, Haruka and Neu. He'd needed the break so he decided to go say hi, even though Haruka looked like he was performing a magic show to Neu.

"..I certainly did not expect to see you two here, how've you been Haruka? I have not heard from you in so long." he said, as he approached the two.

Neu laughed at the entire spectacle, thinking on how exactly it would work or look like.

"I guess it'll poof and be all better, but its kinda complicated even though that's how it'it'd kinda look like."

She then looked behind and started clapping. Whoa! "I didn't know you could do it too? You poofed my boyfriend back into existence!" Neu ran over to him and hugged Tsubaka. "Hello how have you been, how is your forehead, did you break any bones? Probably not because I made sure you wouldn't have any yeah."

Haruka sort of just blinked at the sudden appearance of Tsubasa. He wasn't really prepared for him to just appear from what seems like the depths of nowhere-vill. He looked around, making sure there wasn't any portals to a separate dimension he made or something. There indeed were none, but he was still shocked at it regardless.

"O-Oh hey man! Good t'see ya. I'm out looking around really, just sort up and about. Yourself?" Haruka pocketed his hands, leaning back on the window where the antique shop stuff was. Time to get comfy.

Seeing the both of them was rather heartwarming, since he had spent the last 14 hours trying to track down a madman who almost caused him to lose his brother. Nevertheless it was difficult to hide how he felt about the situation he was in, the sad part is that he could not speak of it so all he could do know was try to take his mind off of things.

"Oh..hey Neu, i'm glad you're doing well yourself, personally I'm fine no need to worry..I appreciate what you've been doing for me, though what's this about a forehead?" he said, as he placed one arm around her as a sort of one-hand hug.

"Hehe sorry to pop up out of nowhere, when I saw you guys here I figured it would be nice to say hi, a lot has happened since I last saw you both." he said, placing his free hand behind his head. "...Just exploring, i'm new to this area so I came here to do some sight-seeing I guess."

One-hand hug? What is this peasant level bull? Shall I cut one off in order to justify such blasphemy? This is some friend zone level hugging man, step it up!

Neu gave a grin and silently moved closer, pulling his arn a tad bit forcefully around her for a two hand hug. 100%. A real hug.

"Haha honey I'm so glad you have two hands. I mean it has been more than a while. Very long time actually. Manyoushouldagivenmeafullhugyoumessedthatup." she let out a forced laugh. " ha ha ha." Then turned over to Haruka, "So hows destroying the everything going?"

ABORT! ABORT! FISSION MAILED! RETREAAAAAT!

"Uh, you know. Not my fault."

Way to throw me under the bus man.

I didn't even say your name.

... Meh.

Salty much?

"Err, it's not like I'm trying to, y'know, tear everything I see into two and reverse every fighter out there. Speaking of which half of this town looks like zombies at this point." Haruka can clearly count up to seven or eight reversed zombies running around. They seemed pretty content with themselves for now though, so that's pretty much a-okay.

"But it happens I guess." He genuinely grinned, but his laugh was partly forced at the awkward encounter he was now faced with. How does one escape from this situation now. Maybe Neu won't notice-

Hahahaha, you're funny.

Man.

"Man, I've unreversed so many that I can unreverse the ones you're looking at right now in the blink on eye."

Neu unreversed them.

"See." They were still all in the background screaming from the unreversing. "Why so manyyyy, also what do you guys get for ruining a game for everyone, I am so confused."
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Gotem City : Central Square
Post by: Jello on October 09, 2015, 08:40:04 PM
"Like I said, not my fault. I would be unreversing if I could. Thing is that isn't an option."

You can't unreverse somebody with a Reverse unit that still contains Reverse energy, and Rebirth is quite literally exhuming with it. Okay Haruka, use a different deck? Okay man, chill. Overlord is sort of Haruka's life, it's not like he'll switch for anything. Maybe Beast Deities. Maybe.

Maybe.

"Trust me when I say that I want this fixed as much as the next guy, and I mean that. Even if it doesn't really seem like it. I truly am sort of disugsted by... all... of... man that screaming is really annoying."

Haruka plugged an ear to help keep the screams of the unreversed out. Man they were annoying.

Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Gotem City : Central Square
Post by: Hope on October 09, 2015, 09:54:11 PM
"Man maybe one day you'll feel getting that kind of energy pulled out from you yourself and then you'll get it yo." Neu frowned.

The reason why she ended up in the hospital for a year was because of rift energy being forcible extracted from her after all, so she does get the pain of it and sympathized with the fighters. "Ooh. Foreshadowing... maybe." She laughed.

Haruka was the enemy even though he was all innocent and casual right now. She would have to fight him too since he was ruining Vanguard, whether it was intentional or not sadly.

Neu's reaction to his one-hand hug was rather strange, he was genuinely tired and for that reason he assumed she would understand, still it was kinda cute. He listened intently to the conversation at hand, he was aware about Haruka being involved with this whole ordeal but he was only now becoming more clear to him, in a way he could feel Diablo's persona raging within him wanting to challenge Haruka's ideals regarding this situation.

In order to make up to Neu, for now, for his condition he chose to stand behind her and place both of his hands around her waist, just a subtle embrace, as he raised his gaze towards Haruka and posed his question, "..What does Vanguard mean to you exactly?"
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Gotem City : Central Square
Post by: Jello on October 09, 2015, 11:25:45 PM
"Hm? Ah... Vanguard?"

To not be left alone.

To understand what I couldn't otherwise.

To imagine a world that isn't this one.

To escape.

"Vanguard is a game I play to keep up. Its my way of never falling behind my friend I guess. Y'know, sort of like a connection. I mean, in reality if I didn't play, I wouldn't have met any of you."

Haruka chewed on his bottom lip, lowering his gaze to the ground with a bit of sorrow draping in his chest. He felt the curtains of his emotions start to close up. He wasn't that particularly opposed to talking about his Vanguard and what it means to him. The only problem is right now, Vanguard is exactly what is causing so many problems in his life.
Title: Re: (GS3) Field: Gotem City : Central Square
Post by: OverDrive on October 09, 2015, 11:42:33 PM
"Vanguard is his way of keeping a connection."

This reason was rather nostalgic for Tsubasa, if not for Vanguard he also would not have met any of them, if anything Vanguard changed a lot about his life and allowed him to have friends after many years of isolation and guilt. The only issue that he saw with Haruka's reason is the path that he's taking now.

"..We played Vanguard during the Camping Trip and before then, at that point I could feel and understand your passion for the game and how much you enjoyed playing with your friends...but how can you deliver the same passion or enjoy yourself when you know full well what the reverse does to the bonds between people." he said, his eyes sincere and worried about his friend's choice.

"..I almost lost many friends throughout this whole ordeal...the reverse even pushed someone so far to endanger my brother's life..what kind of justifiable connection can you make using that power?!" he asked.

"What? You act like I decided to do all of this." Haruka's face was somewhat unchanging, even bored. It's not that he was bored or anything, but he had been accused enough of being evil or whatnot when he was in fact either passed out or dead during all of that. In reality, Haruka knows less realistically than anybody else who was around at the time. He only knows because of memory links with Sera.

"There isn't anything to justify turning someone's heart inside out and twisting their emotions. But I didn't want to do it. Actually, I didn't do it, because I did it."

Sera cut in at the end almost exactly to pick up where Haruka's voice would have left off. It sounded pretty cool and almost looked like lip syncing really. Sera was right on time to pick up the slack essentially.

Tsubasa's goal was achieved, he knew Haruka's motives and the kind of person he was just by spending some time with him, he knew that there was something beyond his inability to escape the reverse, he had felt it during their first fight, it was for an instant but he sensed something beyond him. It is worth mentioning that he was not blaming him or accusing him of being evil he was rather making him question his stance on this matter, trying to understand the depth behind his choices now.

He grasped Neu's hand, just to make sure that he would be able to keep her safe should the situation escalate, even though she was more than capable of protecting herself, but oh well boyfriends,"..So you finally show yourself, you're the main puppet-master here, Haruka would not do all of this not without a good reason...Haruka if you can still hear me..I was not accusing you of anything..but you have to understand the implications of what you're doing, if you continue down this path you might lose us all, all the reverse will do for you is make you sever your connection with us all." he said, his eyes returning to sincerity

"As for you...now that I've helped you step out of hiding...who exactly are you?" he asked, his eyes turning to a serious glare.

"Who? Me? Or me?"

Haruka stood there scratching his head sort of confused. Thing is, he can't completely recognize the switch between the two immediately, unless their voice awkwardly overlaps. But otherwise, the first few words that are spoken inbetween Sera and Haruka sound quite a lot the same, simply a half-step lower.

"See, I, er, we? No, it's I. Cause we are one now. That sounds creepy, huh? It's more that we're a merged consciousness."

He leaned back against the window a bit, crossing his legs.

"I'm the Seraphim. But I call me Sera. The name has stuck. You're Tsubasa Hayato, the one who stopped original locking of clans a year ago. Nice to finally meet the man in my own words."

"He's an angel, long-story short. Doesn't really act like, does he?"

In some wayward back alley of Gotem city would be the cardfight between a wacko nutjob of a reverse fighter against a poor blonde locked NPC, one that would proceed to be reversed after his declaration of final turn. The power of Ethics Buster Reverse having made it far too easy to snuff out the poor helpless plot malleable character that lay unable to fight against the characters that could actually shape it. A tiny smirk lay apparent on his face as the transformation had begun to take hold of the young womans very soul, having finally found himself a capable lackey of sorts. You know, the kind that would go to a 7-11 to buy you a slushie or assist in a kidnapping or two, everyday normal things.

"Guess stuff is rolling along on time, and I got myself some help finally. Think the show can start soon, though the falcons gotta take the bait." He chattered thoughtfully to himself, his new gopher finally awakening as she turned from side to side only to hop up in a far too excited manner. "Ready for work, boss!" to which he nodded, turning around and waving froward for her to come. They had villainous business to attend.

"Angel. Angel. Angel. Do you have wings? Tell me you have wings. Do you want wings? I can buy you some Ded Bull, gives you wings. Or I can give you wings because I am a- " Neu spins. Neu twirls. Strike a pose! "God after all."

"I might. Wanna see? Just kidding, my wings are sort of broken at the moment. But they'll be fixed in no time, no worries. Really though. I wanna see 'em too."

Haruka and Sera made small chit-chat with Neu as Tsubasa sort of just watched. Neu seemed completely unfazed by the interchanging entities. Or didn't care. Or maybe didn't know? Well it's not that Haruka had made these realizations; Sera is the logical thinker of the two in reality.

"Well, at the very least he seems to be an angel, even if he doesn't act like one."

"I mean, I'm daddy's little angel if that counts for anything." She nodded.

Neu took out her phone and snapped a photo of Haruka. "They said that I could see ghosts and other entities if I take a picture of a person or whatever." She pointed at her phone in surprise, her eyes widening. "I see him! I see your Angel-man!" She turned her phone to show him and laughed.

"Just kidding."

Haruka or Sera would be unable to see the photo though, as there was a card blocking the screen, Schwarzschild Dragon. Neu didn't really notice it, but she did feel that something was off, like she was holding something else or than her phone in her hand.

The situation had calmed down a bit thankfully, if anything Neu was having fun and this Sera angel, he gave off the same aura that Tsubasa sensed a year ago during their fight. It might be a good idea to understand him more later on, now that Tsubasa has restored his confidence in his golden warriors the time to use Diablo's persona will be on specific occasions, but for now he wants to spend some time with his lady.

"Oh please, your my little angel." he said as he lifted her off the ground, carrying her bridal style. "Shall we get something to eat?" he said, smiling as he kissed her on the forehead.

"..It was good to see you today Haruka, I hope that the next encounter will be the same as those times at the Camping Trip.." he said, as he smiled and began walking away, still carrying Neu in his arms.

"..As for you Sera...we'll see each other very soon.." he thought.
"Know any good places to eat in Gotem Ms.God?" he said, in a teasing voice to his lady.

It was a new day, the sun shone on Gotem City with all it's majesty, signalling the beginning of another day, though for Tsubasa it was rather chilling, he may have spent some time with his love but..that madman is still loose. Nevertheless he was about to be thrown for a loop at Hana's message.

"...Schwarzchild...hmmm..." he thought.

The couple were at a cafe eating breakfast at the time, after spending the night it was only fair for Tsubasa to invite her in the morning, he did want to.

"Honey, do you know anything about Schwarzchild current whereabouts? Do you have the card maybe?" he asked, turning his head to Neu.

"Yeah man." she nodded, reaching for her purse and placing the card on the table.

Pancakes for breakfast in this random ole town were nice. She still had to go to work later on today which was an overall dragon. Sighs. The strange thing was that Schwarzschild didn't really worry her much, rather, it confused her so much that she tried not to think of it.

"What, need it for anything? It just happened to appear yesterday."

It was surprising to see that the card was back, but then again Link Joker itself was back so the surprise was not that extravagant, nevertheless he assumed that Hana would need it so he might as well ask Neu.

"Yea, she has the card, do you want me to come meet you with the card? -Tsubasa"

"Honey you mind if I hold on to the card for now, something seems to be bothering Hana about it." he asked, as he began to noticed Neu's sighing. "..Something the matter?" he asked.

"Nothing." She looked down at the card, taking a bite of the blueberry pancake which she was having for breakfast. Best not to think of why it's back, plus it didn't feel like the same card that she used a year ago. Neu had no intention in putting the card to use, especially with the disgusting kind of Link Joker that's been going around.

"Want the card well... fight me for it." She posed the challenge.

It was supposed to be one fight...but it turned out to be countless fights, enough to make the butlers give up on asking them for the bill, though Tsubasa left a mental not in his mind for it so it was fine. In the end the couple spent what felt like an eternity fighting and having fun, before it was time to pay up and say their goodbyes though Tsubasa kept in mind where she works so he can visit.

"Thanks for the card Hun, i'll come visit you sometime." he said, as he stood up from his seat, paid and laid a kiss on his loved one and proceeded to leave.

"I wish I could spent an eternity with her, fighting, talking, laughing...you really are the one for me Neu...wait can she hear thoughts...crap...gotta run." he thought, as he began running and speeding up to reach Hana's location.

The vehicle of Cero's choice for this journey was a stupidly expensive and elaborate sports car with a design based on Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion.  It broke the speed limit, nay, broke the very limits of cars.  With lightning speed, it traveled the distance between the facility and Gotem's central square within mere seconds, possibly even less.  Who knows?  Probably Neu....  Anyways, with his arrival at the central square, Cero debated using his own power to attempt to react with whatever Hana said was here...  But figured it would be less likely to result in a lawsuit if he let Hana handle it.

After hopping off the bad taste and ugly mobile, Hana looked around the area. Nothing was off, and there were less reversed than usual if there were even any showing their progress against the invaders. It was going well. They even had the main power source here with them... maybe that's why the Rift was bringing in more, one wasn't doing enough.

In which case, this was then trouble. A lot of trouble.

"Right, I remember asking where you came from, Seruka (good enough nickname for now!). Would you answer that for us before we go digging through the deep unknown?" She asked, looking directly at him, mainly Sera who she remembers having a similar conversation with over at the Amusement Park back when she was reversed.

"Where I came from?" Sera's normal blank face stood stiff still, just kind of tilting his head only slightly puzzled.

"Couldn't really tell you where, but I can tell you how I got here." Sera stopped there. He wasn't really going to go on and say it without being specifically asked because he was actually a really stubborn guy, even in Haruka's conscious who was a not-so stubborn worrywart. Strange differences.

Even arriving outside, he was yawning, getting pretty sleepy. Sera was mostly in control of the body, all in Haruka's trust. He needed a bit of rest so he let Sera take the wheel of the Seruka machine for the meantime. Not much changed. They were like Yin and Yang so it didn't really seem all too different really.

There was no progress in the Kurosaki case so he left the mission up to Yugure and left for japan. Good thing he left the Oblivion at the air port or else this may of been difficult. He had a feeling something was amiss at Gotem City so he decided traveled there.

"Yo, hommie wat we doing here bruh?" Thugsura spoke in his mind as he continued to drive. "I just had a feeling something bads going to happen." He took a turn at the corner and found an over sized Vermillion shaped sports car. Least to say Hikaru and thugsura were dumbstruck. "Wat da who da hell rides my kaisa hommie!"  Hikaru had stopped his bike to marvel at the site of the sports car until Hana came out of the car.

"So you felt it to?"

Considering that she had her "reevasu" school uniform (name is beta & patent pending) as well as her void energy filled bracelet, there was nothing that she could miss. Though she's kind of confused as to what he meant by her feeling it too. Did he feel it as well? What did he feel? Hana is feeling hungry. Maybe Hikaru was hungry too.

Digressing.

"How you got here?..." She wondered. That would be about the same, probably what she wanted from him specifically. Hana assumed that the former question gave him an existential crisis. "How did you get here?" was probably more politically correct. She nodded her head and gave him a pat on the back. "Alright, that works too." Thumbs up! "If you don't mind sharing I guess!"

The vehicle was something, but it was not something that Tsubasa or Diablo worried about that much they had the speed to handle this vehicle's duties with no issue. For now it was a matter of observing and being prepared Gotem City was as busy as usual and with more people arriving it only got more interesting though for now Tsubasa decided to intently listen to what Sera had to say.

"Useful Information is always good..." he thought.

"I got here through a tear in the spacetime continuum. A Rift." He raised his eyebrows as if to make it sound mysterious, leaning against a skyscraper in the district. But he wasn't lying. Sera's appearance in all this wasn't just born inside of Haruka, or there would be a much bigger trouble on there hands. He was an invader, and as such, came from somewhere else altogether.

"Oh, Hikaru, nice to see you." Haruka replied this time, actually happy to see his friend show up in time for the party. Though Haruka had to ask...

"Weren't you guys in Hawaii are something...?"

A-what. The what?

"Nani?"

Blank. Blank. Hana was quite blank. Was she actually correct about all this? Whoa.

"Um. Right. So that means... The Rift brought you here?... It's possible for more to end up here? Haruka.. altogether is from a different..?"

He wasn't fazed by Haruka's statement on making use of the rift. Probably because he wasn't there to witness it in the first place. Still he had to answer his question.

"We came back early. The Kurosaki situation can be handled by Yugure and are comrades."

"Space-time continuim...but then...that means.." he thought as he tried to fathom the situation at hand, could it be possible what this was implying.

Hikaru's entrance was rather pleasant though, it gave him the chance to check up on Haruto as he awaited Hana's next move, "Hey Hikaru, glad you were able to make it, though I wanted to ask how things were looking in Hawaii? Is Haruto ok?" he asked.

Hikaru had taken off his helmet and already off his motorcycle by the time he answered Tsubasa's question. "I don't know any Haruto, I presumed it was that kid that had no idea what was going on. He seemed fine when I left." Well that was assuring.

Amon had decided that Envy and Wrath were the next of the remaining four sins to fall. However, with the void's influence becoming stronger on him, he had little time before his sanity was lost. To best locate these Sins as quickly as possible, Amon had decided to head back to where he would usually find them, or at least Wrath.

Before heading to the airport to return, he decided to have a little sight-seeing. Amon strolled past a few parrked cars on the path and walked in the general direction of the largest sky scraper in the city.

One of the workers over at the facility was tasked with sending Hana the location of the energy reading. She scanned about the area, matching up their location to the given place. Before all that, the Princess really was waiting for Sera's answer, begging the question in her head and trying to connect the reality of it together.

Was he lying to mess with them?

She had been trying to figure things out herself, but none of it had seemed real to her. To her it was like science class, specifically things like Biology and the processes of singular cells where there were so many terms for such a small and quick process that she just acknowledged it, but never truly understood how it happened because of how far out it was. It was too small for her to understand. This concept of Sera and Haruka altogether coming from another place, it seemed far too large for her, and she's the Princess of another planet. More questions popped up too, mostly about Haruka if he knew or what then intention was for coming here... what the place was like.

The Princess continued her search for the area of the given coordinates.

Relief. The emotion that covered Tsubasa's expression after Hikaru's 'report', it was rather satisfying to know that Haruto was doing okay most of all.

"Haruto is my younger brother, thankfully he's doing okay over there." he said, as turned around towards Hana.

"She's already busy with finding the right co-ordinate and understanding this mess....but if what sera said about the continuum was true...what possible effect could that have on..." he thought.

Hikaru scratched his chin as he brooded over Sera's use of the tear. From what he remembers about is time as a Link Joker general. He was able to create objects out of nothing even if temporary. These tears seemed to come out of nowhere from what he got from the conversation between them.

"Is it possible for us to make use of these tears in time?"

"The Rift? Yeah, let's go with that." Sera had been trying to mess with her but in the end she sort of ended up deducing a decent answer from his half-sarcasm half-truths. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Even Haruka was sort of interested in the information Sera had to say because, er... well....

This was the only one place that in the memory base that Haruka couldn't access. He had no idea what Sera was really talking about right now. It was strange to hear any of this information, but it wasn't all false because there was in indicator in their conscious to decide whether or not they were lying and well. He wasn't.

"Yes... Through the Rift. I got here from a- From a what? Listen boy and I'll tell you."

Sigh.

"Consider it a parallel to this universe. So to speak."

"Parallel... universe? Right." So if everything thus far is correct and as it seems to be then the Rift would lead to...

They were now standing at the exact coordinate.

"The Rift isn't visible to the naked eye. It lies along the spectrum of rays that we cannot see like Gamma Rays and X Rays, but the researchers at CTA realized that it was detectable as it was composed of energy. Plus..." Hana used her power, forming somewhat of a screen for them to see through so they could see what she does, and there it was, The Rift.

"Since I can twist light and see things using light sources, it's actually visible to me." Hana nodded. "So, are we ready to go on a field trip to see what's on the other side? This'll work like The War of Liberation where I basically did the same thing. We open a gate, hop in, fight, leave." She wiggled her index finger and pointed at all of them, "...and hopefully come back in one piece."

"A parallel...universe?" Okay that he wasn't expecting. Sure he's been through mass memory alteration, card games being real, units appearing out their cards, an alien invasion, etc. Hikaru took out Asura Kaiser from his deck box.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, sweethang i'm ready to crash this mothafunkying universe.!" He thought so. He turned to other people present. "Well I'll see you at the other side." Hikaru runs into the screen and leaps forward. Entering the unknown.

Deja vu? Maybe. The situation was similar, just seeing Hana conjure that screen and the revelation about parallel dimension, made him easily recall the moments of the War of Liberation, though the situation had it's own risks and troubles.

"..Parallel Universe huh...at this point it's hard to be extra surprised." he said, confidence taking over his statement unintentionally.

Hikaru jumped in right away, he was clearly eager to get down to business, nevertheless caution was important. They have no idea what awaits them beyond that gate aside from the seed.

"..Alright then...let's do this...Liberators." he said, as he walked through the gate. "..I'll do my part, and more."

So the seeds came from other universes....  Which means Stride also can come from other universes.  This was quite the useful piece of information.  According to Hana, they seemed to be close to what they'd be using as their gate.  Now, they had to enter one of these universes and stop a seed before it reached them.  Cero already knew what going through the Rift was like from the War of Liberation, so this probably wouldn't be that different.  As he stepped forward, Cero spoke out, "We don't have time to waste.  Let's go, and take out the danger before it takes out us."  In the corner of Cero's mind, a thought appeared.  If they did this, wouldn't they be doing the exact same thing that Sera had done to them?  Shakign his head, Cero forgot about the thought.  The seed just wanted to destroy.  They were going to protect themselves.

Her eyes synchronized with the light from the Rift and she was able to create a gate moving to where it let.

This was all too much to comprehend, but she had to keep going. The Princess couldn't tell what she was even getting into, what was going on, and what this would cause. The multiple worlds were beyond comprehension, causing so many things to fly past her mind. She assumed that things would put themselves together as she traveled through all this.

Destroying another world in order to protect their own. Was it necessary? Was there a way to talk this out...?

The thought was put in the back of her mind.

A flash of light enveloped her as she entered the gate.

"No use standing around..." Haruka strolled into the rift tear, almost nonchalantly. Because it was Sera who was so used to the procedure of spacetime travelling, he honestly was less worried about the transfer.

But rather landing was going to be difficult. Last time he did this there was a huge fire and a dead boy...

"Oh boy."

The cloaked reversed wackjob paused, placing a hand on his chin as he rubbed it lightly. A small smile forming on his face as the marks of reverse lit up in his sadistic joy. Alexander peered into his cell phone, having completed everything on the check list, standing by the city amusement park right by its ferris wheel. He had been able to catch it on a closed day today, though around the immediate area were quite the number of reversed fighters going about his plans, what could be made out to be television broadcasting equipment was seen about. If one took a closer look, they would notice the ferris wheel cabins themselves to be all occupied with sleeping people, all unaware of any of their surroundings in their drugged asleep state.

"Time to lure out our bird of prey, finally." Announcing this to the others nearby, a text sent to his assistant about the go ahead. The crew of reverse fighters beginning the broadcast, a solid countdown given to Alexander as his reverse forms true colours came about on the big screen. Of course the shooting itself happened a tiny bit away from the ferris wheel, only to not give away his location currently. Only those that would pass the test deserved to find their way to him after all, and a specific one was intended to do so anyway. Alexander cleared his throat, eyeing the camera excitedly as he took a deep breath before speaking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Welcome to the newest show, bomb. Of. Despair! The rules? Why I'd just l-o-v-e to tell you fine folks all about it! You see, there are bombs within this dreary pink fluffy town chock full of hopes and dreams. Now while I could monologue about your upcoming ends instead i'll follow up with our great game, and like any game they're no fun if you have zero chance of victory. There is one bomb, wrapped in white and red, and it will detonate in about..... Two hours? Maybe less by now heh. Anyway, if you find this one, it'll take you to a next one. See, it's like a chain.... Of explosives. Good stuff right?" He chuckled, amused by the possible mayhem.

"The first hint I give, but the following ones are from the bombs themselves. Anyway, here's the hint. "Original pastry". The broadcast cutting off instantly after, the usual segments returning to peoples televisions.

A small amount of time had passed since his return from the first dimension, he had been reminded of the power residing within stride, he had fought for many people and the group came out victorious in the end. Now a new challenge is posed against Gotem City, signaling the call for help from it's unofficial protector.

The Madman had appeared once again this time through a large TV screen in the Central Square of Gotem City, along with every other screens in shops and in houses. At that time Tsubasa was sitting on the edge of a skyscraper staring down at the people as they continued their daily lives, part of it was so he can find the madman, the other was because of how amazing it felt to be so elevated and looking down upon the world.

"....It's him....." he thought as he rose from his seat and stared at the screen.

After the announcement was concluded and the stage had been set, it was time for the falcon to take flight once again, time was short and the people of Gotem had already started to panic over the news of the bomb and the 2 hours remaining.

"..Tch...Looks like you'll be soaring sooner than expected tonight..Diablo.." he said, as he put on the mask and zipped the coat, returning him to the falcon's look for the rest of this conflict.

".. Original Pastry huh....4 come to mind in this city ..let's go.." he said, as he descended from the skyscraper rebounding from his location and jumping from the sides of buildings in order to reach his destinations in time, it was clear that he was beginning to grasp his new capabilities more fully.

"...This ends today...whoever you are...I'm getting the reverse out of you!" he said, while a thought clouded his mind. "...Why did he look so familiar from the broadcast...who is he..."

The young man was bidding his time, having to balance out drawing out the great Diablo while also keeping the police force from finding the bomb themselves. This was in fact why he chose the place for the dud bomb anyhow, for where else to hide something but under ones nose? No police officer would suspect their holy church of donuts and coffee to be the location of the bomb so, and original pastry wasn't too much of a clue for most people to go on.

Nearby the ever so popular Jammin' Donuts in the alley lay a blonde headed reverse fighter taking a seat as she mowed down on the tiny yet ever so joyous death trap pastries, lying in wait for her prey. Rather obliviously within the alley was a large wrapped gift with the sound "tick, tock" emanating from inside.

Inside the store would be inspector Gordeen, having just ordered their batch of donuts and coffee before sprinting back to their police car to the station, in his haste missing the easy to see bomb. One might wonder how the hell Alexander is getting away with this stuff at all.

Diablo had visited 3 of the Pastry locations around Gotem now only one remained, Jammin' Donuts. Diablo was aware that the police had already checked out this area but to no success nevertheless the situation called for some personal investigating. He entered the shop and saw that there were only two customers A young girl no older than Haruto and a hooded lady, seated in the almost deserted shop due to the announcement and remaining 30 minutes.

Something was off about the hooded lady so Diablo decided to get the young girl out first, though because of how he had no proof of the bomb's location he had to do it without causing a scene.

"Young girl you should not be here..." he said.
"...Donuts are Justice mister, Are you dressed up for Halloween or something?"

Her response was rather peculiar, the last time Diablo spoke next to a child with his menacing voice was the same moment that child ran away in fear, but this one just sat there unfazed and rather brave in her question.

"No...a better question would be what you're doing here it's not safe."
"Barbra!" said a voice as it rushed into the store.

Commissioner Gordeen himself had entered the area, based on his knowledge and the way he was referring to the young girl it was safe to say that they knew each other.

"Young Lady I told you not to...." his statement froze as he bared witness to Diablo standing next to the girl.
Without a moments hesitation he took out his gun and pointed it towards Diablo. "Who are you?! Get away from my daughter!
"...Sorry...Dad..." said Barbra.

At this gesture Diablo immediately pulled a card from his deck and threw it towards the Commissioner,  spinning as it approached him. It struck his gun, sending the device flying up as the card returned to him, and the gun fell easily in Diablo's hand.

"I suggest you be careful where you point this thing." said Diablo, as he placed the card back into his pocket.

Just then the hooded lady jumped from her seat and ran through the basement leading doorway, the door shutting behind her, the gift she had with her was also gone. Diablo and Gordeen ran towards the door, Diablo arriving first of course as he stood between the door and Gordeen.

"You're not coming, this is my fight right now." said Diablo.
"It's my duty as a policeman-"
"It's your duty as a father to know your priorities, I'll handle this." he said, cutting Gordeen's statement short and running through the door, shutting it behind him.
".......Let's get out of here Barbra!"

Diablo and the lady ran through the stairs leading to the basement, Diablo was able to catch up when she arrived at the basement due to his speed now it was time to figure the situation out fully, since the basement was a dead end for anyone trying to leave the store from that area.

"...Hehe...Hahahaha! Not bad Mister Diablo, I have a present for you gift wrapped and ready, only a few minutes to go, think you can beat me and get to it, I'm sure that would really please Mister A hahaha!" said the hooded lady, as she took off her Hoodia revealing her reverse markings, at the same time the red cardfight panels appeared in front of them, the clock was ticking this fight had to end quickly.
"...Mister A....Tch does not matter right now, Stand Up! Vanguard!"

The cardfight ensued between the two, Luqueir Reverse posing a solid threat to Diablo's situation, unfortunately for the lady the threat did not last long as Diablo CrossBrokeRode into Dragruler Phantom, ending the cardfight with a lb and a final attack. As the reverse removed itself from the lady Diablo rushed to the gift box placed behind her, but upon opening it he was surprised at what he found....

Confetti popped out of the box, the colourful sorts which would brighten up Diablos dark attire if it stuck to him like it did to normal people. A letter within the box could be seen after the confetti fiasco, the letter itself giving his next instructions. Those being for him to make his way to Gotem cities amusement park, coupled with actual threats on human lives this time. A picture of random civilians sleeping within the ferris wheel cars attached to the letter.

Meanwhile at the amusement park it would be noted that the dud bombs timer has been shut off due to activation. Alexander steadied himself, giving orders for the reverse fighters to form a perimeter and to keep an eye out. "We'll be having a guest soon." Speaking as he licked his lips, a small glance thrown to the civilians within the ferris wheel cars, noticing one or two beginning to move around uncomfortably. Soon it'd become noisy, possibly.

The Confetti did ease Diablo's growing stress on the situation at hand, but the later effect was angering him. This person, whoever he is, was taking joy in playing this little game of his, toying with the lives of people without any clear reason.

"...I've had enough of this...these people don't deserve this...It ends today!" he said, disappearing from the basement, and emerging at the roof of Jammin Donuts.

Diablo then took this chance to immediately escape the area and head towards the amusement park in Gotem City, it was obvious that it was a trap. However, there were lives on the line and this game had begun to really annoy him.
__________________________________________________________________

Upon entering the park he immediately made his way to the Ferris wheel area, he tried his best to stay hidden but the best he could do was move extremely fast. When he arrived he noticed the recording devices that were setup at the location, at this point he knew that no matter what happened he had to get moving, he immediately jumped into the middle of the area in front of the table setup there, and faced the figure standing in front of him, he could not shake the feeling that he knew the hooded figure standing in front of him, but for now he decided to focus on saving the hostages.

"Let them go, this is between you and me." he said, as he took his position at the cardfight table.

The harsh wind hit heavy upon the face of Amon as he stood on top of the largest skyscraper in the city. He had came here to view the city from above, to locate any of the remaining sins he had to defeat. The black sky that covered the city was lit up by the pale moon's radiance. The star's that usually covered the above were dull, with only a few remaining fading into the obscurity of darkness. This was the same with Amon's mind. The toll of the reverse was making him fade into the darkness. But he was not ready to fully become the puppet of the void.

Amon stared at the moon, hoping that what he had done. The evil that coveted his soul, the corruption he had taken into his own body.. was worth the cost he had to pay. As he turned away from the sky to leave the top of the skyscraper, he heard a familiar voice.

He twisted his gaze to behind him. What he saw was unbelievable. His eyes gave away what he thought. The thought of disbelief. "How... is this possible! I sealed you away! I trapped you in a place that couldn't be reached! "

The light that christened the body was removed. There stood a figure of a man. His eyes covered with his brown hair. The wind forcefully blew at the two of them. Amon watched as the man revealed his red scarf and allowed it to flow within the breeze. The hair lifted off his face, revealing his identity. The individual that stood before him was well known to him...

Kurai Tsukino.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You think that you could protect the world by yourself, but you have fallen victim to the very evil you wished to slay. Tell me... What is your true purpose Amon?"

Kurai and Amon were stood apart from each other, but their eyes did not lose contact with one another. Both their faces now showing no emotion, the two that once shared the same body and did not know of each other's existence to begin with now  had become enthralled within an intense confrontation. Silence besieged the atmosphere around them, a tense aura was being given off by the two of them. Minutes passed until eventually Amon spoke his words.

"Sin must be eliminated from the world, regardless the cost or sacrifice. Even I am a pawn to be played within this large scale game of human chess. You are no different, Kurai"

Kurai was unappeased with his answer. His tone drifted slower into a more serious voice. He spoke with the words that were on his mind. "You leave me no choice then... the only way to save you from the path that you have taken is to defeat you with the thing that started it all!" He removed a deck from his inner pocket, causing two floating transparent surfaces to appear, one in-front of each of them. Kurai placed his deck onto the floating surface. " Vanguard".

Amon placed his deck on the surface and they began a game which, would be the last game that one of them would have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After barely managing to survive Amon's Reverse Onslaught with a lucky heal trigger, it was Kurai's turn. He stood and drew. His hand consisted of one card whilst Amon's consisted of 5 thanks to the draw trigger he received during his drive check. Amon had fallen into the grasps of the reverse and lost his sanity. Kurai looked at the single card in his hand, then gazed at the field. Amon had a 4 rear-guards, two of which could be used for defensive purposes, whilst Kurai had only 3,  A Dimension Creeper, Jet Black Poet Amon and Demon of Aspersion, Amon. His soul consisted of 8 cards. Amon raised his single card above his head and chanted...

" Transcend your soul and enter your body that is no longer inhabited by negative energy and show him our truest bond by freeing him of the corrupted grip created by the Void! I'll show you my true power! Breakride!, Demon World Marquis, AMON!"

With the break-rides effect, Amon had gained 10000 Power and in addition to this, all his rear-guard's gained 1000 power for each card in the soul, moving poet up into the front row and Amon's skill itself, Poet had 17000, Amon had 28000 and Aspiration Amon had 34000 when boosted with Dimension Creeper. Kurai used the skill of the Dimension Creeper in the soul, adding an additional 1000 to the rest of his units. First Poet attacked his vanguard for 18000. Amon guarded using Cruel Hand. The Vanguard Amon assaulted Amon Reverse. Reverse had 13000 and had to fight against Amon's 29000. Amon guarded the attack using a perfect guard, dropping the draw trigger in his hand. The remainder of Amon's hand consisted of a heal and critical trigger. along side his intercepts it made a total of 30000 shield. Added onto to the reverse would make 43000. The only way Kurai was going to win was getting a double trigger. Amon's first check, revealed a Draw trigger, giving the power to his standing rear-guard, he drew was a heal trigger. With his odds looking bleak, he checked the second card, only to reveal an unexpected Stand Trigger, standing poet and giving the power to Aspiration then making his last strike, the final damage revealed itself to be Amon Reverse. With this Amon was finally defeated and freed from the void.

The surrounding area turned white, surrounded by nothing, the two of them stood eye to eye. All presence of the void disappeared. Amon and Kurai shook hands. As they did Amon's body began to fade away. He smiled and gave Kurai his final words.

"Now you have finally took your place in the world that you once existed in, therefore I may no longer take your place, thus this body of mine now will disappear. But I will not be gone, as my spirit will remain with you, within your heart and soul, and also inside your deck. Go show the world.... Our joint power."

Uttering the last of his words, Amon disappeared and Kurai had returned to the top of the Skyscraper. He was alone and the sky was still black. Looking at the moon, he whispered to himself.

"You bet I will... Amon."

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Editor's Note: It was bugging me that I left Amon's story on a cliff hanger with him heading towards the skyscraper, so I decided why not rap up Amon's story since, well GS3 has been a ghost town for awhile. I hope you all enjoyed the end of the road.
