Ran into someone who wanted to rule shark in cardfight vanguard named "Landon".
Anyway we ran into the problem of this card, Ambush Demonic Stealth Rogue, Kagamijishi and his skill.
(VC):When your unit is placed on (RC), if the number of units you have with the same name as that unit is two or more, until end of turn, that unit gets [Power]+2000 and "[CONT](RC):This unit may attack from the back row.".
So this is how the turn played out:
I had Onifundou (FV) and Emissary crow to rearguard.
my vanguard was Yasuie. I stride to Kagamijishi
use Onifundou skill to superior call Lake diver. Used Lake diver's skill to superior call 2 more copies of him.
And called Fujino. From Kagamijishi's skill the laker divers that were superior called get 2000 power and can attack from the backrow.
So my field was looking like this:
Fujino (9000) Kagamijishi (26000) Emissary Crow (8000)
Lake Diver (9000) Lake Diver (9000) Lake Diver (7000)
He's telling me the lake divers that were superior called don't get the power boost and don't attack from the back row. His thought was common sense. I'm telling him read my Kagamijishi. When my rearguards are placed on the field if there is another unit with the same name they get +2000 power and gain the ability. And when do card games have common sense as a ruling..?
Not sure if he misread my card and maybe thought that when my stride unit was placed on the vg circle that the rearguards had to be out on the field already to get the ability. And I also looked up similar situations on cardfight wiki since there was no official rulings on bushiroad and since he didn't find an official ruling but a page on wiki he scooped (If he didn't I was, not going to spend 20-30 minutes arguing over this). Now correct me if i'm wrong but I played this right?

Since the two Lake Divers were superior called at the same time while having a lake diver on the field already. Since Kagamijishi does not state the term "other" unit in its card text it will be allowed to select both the units superior called since it can class itself as one of the two units so both superior called units from Lake Diver will get +2k
