Title: Knight of Twin Sword & Starlight Violinist
Post by: Pretzel on February 03, 2017, 01:08:45 AM
Hopefully I'm not being dumb.

During a turn (when or after I stride) I will call a Starlight Violinist from my hand or use my forerunner's skill to call her from the deck, I will then use her skill (on placement) to call a Knight of Twin Sword from the deck. Once I've attacked with ST (no boost) I'll attack with Knight and use his skill (on boost) to call another ST from the deck, and paste it over the rested ST.

Can I, once the new ST is placed, wait for Knight's attack to hit (or be blocked) and then use ST's skill to call over the Knight that has just attacked? Or is that illegal?

(What I mean is can ST's skill be delayed for the guard step of Knight's attack, then activated after Knight's attack has finished.)

You have to resolve all skills before your opponent guards. since ST is an on placement skill you have to use it as soon as its placed or not at all, this means that if you call over twin sword the attack with twin sword is then cancelled.
