Title: Activating skills with shift click?

Due to a hand slip, I recently found that pressing Q brings up the log. So I came back to the site to see if there were any other controls I have been missing, and noticed

"In the other cases all the effect are activated when you click Shift + the left button of mouse"

But for me, this simply does nothing for any unit in any circle. Has no results in the soul for example with Dimension Creeper, or for a Legion (tried in Test, so I know I had enough cards in drop/a mate in deck), or the various units I've tried as RGs. Does it only work on specific skills or is there something I'm doing wrong here?

In CFA you have to do almost all the actions by yourself.
Only ride chain cards and g3 searchers have such automatic skills.

Some old cards must have this effect.
