Title: Updating on Mac
Post by: JasonDrawz on July 01, 2019, 09:13:23 PM
I recently started playing CFA on my Mac and made a couple of decks, but when it asked me to update the game to a new version, I went back to the website and clicked the link to update the game. After installing it, I dragged all the new files into my old CFA folder and replaced all my old files with my new ones. Even so, I wasn’t able to play the game, as it still asked me to update the game. I replaced the files 3 times with the files from the update link, and it still asked me to update the game. I then had to delete all the files and download the new version from the beginning, losing all my decks as the old files did not save my decks I made into the “Decks” folder. My cousin however, who uses a windows laptop, had no problem updating. I believe it might be because of me using a Mac. I am using the most recently updated version for my Mac, so I do not understand why this is happening. I hope I will be able to find a solution before the next update, where I might have to delete the game and download it from the start once again, losing the decks I made as well. Thank you!

One more thing, are the decks you made supposed to be saved into your “Decks” folder? I have made a few decks, but the only ones in my folder are the DefaultDeck.prfl and RPNew.prfl, which are the default decks that come with the game. The decks I made in the game however still work inside the game, but it does not show in my CFA folder in my computer. Thank you!
