After the Reverse crisis affecting the world, World Leaders formed a coaltion and sent expeditionary forces and a portal to Planet Cray. They were transported to the border between United Sanctuary and Dragon Empire. Because of them both being human, and being part of the armed forces, they were praised by both nations, and set up a large bases of operations in the Border. They were often sent to assist either nation in their operations, usually against the Dark Zone
But asides from the conventional fighting in the Dark Zone, they saw a clan that resembled Industrial Revolution-era machinery, Gear Chronicle. There has yet to be contact to be made to them.
The ships of the navies were teleported to the seas, where they encountered Magallanica and tried to establish good relations to them. They built naval bases and trained with the water clans, but were more inclined to the Aqua Force, due to their similarities
Commando teams were teleported to Zoo and, limited communications were reached. Some said of man-eating plants, bugs that can cleave through tank armor, and cause paralysis and disabling of weapon systems and of the largest source of food, enough to feed the entire expeditionary force indefinitely.
A specialist team composed of scientists, and forces armed with EMPs Electromagnetic Pulse (disabling electronics, essentially the closest real life equivalent to Lock), in order to investigate the source of the Reverse Crisis. The choice of EMPs was preferred, due to the presence o fmechanical forces, like those of Dimension Police, and Nova Grappler, as wellas stumbling to Link Joker, which are heavily based on mechanical-electronical units.
The scientists began to experiment destroyed units, and that of utilizing the power Lock without succumbing to the Void and of the Reverse.They also worked on advanced armor, electronics and technical data, especially to that of the one called "Binary Star, Twin Gunner".

The French Foreign Legion plays a pivotal role, for they always can assist the expeditionary forces, as their role as an extension of the French Armed Forces. Essentially, any G3 Unit from any clan, can perform Legion (insert pun here) with them.
(G2: 10000 Power: French Foreign Legionnaire: This unit can perform Legion with any G3 unit. CB1, retire one enemy unit.)
They are given authorization for use of nuclear weapons, if the case be necessary, but only under last resort.
(G4 Stride Unit: 15000+, Nuclear Weapon Unit [Will vary, from bomber, to submarine, to mobile launcher, depending, but skill is the same].
When this unit attacks, it gains +10000 Power and +1 Critical.
GB2: When there are 2 G Units Face up, retire all of the enemy's rearguards, retire a Legion Mate, and deal 1 damage to the enemy)
