My opponent calls Armorknight Asura. I have the Shadow Shade impact monster on my field. I attempt to use Joe's counter immediately AFTER he calls the monster, but before he can use the ability. He says I can't do that, because there's no "counter timing" there. He cited the official detailed rulings page, but when I went to look it up the first step under the detailed steps of a counter was simply "Play timing starts". So, I want to know: when are you allowed to use a counter and when aren't you?

Every time I try to log in on Buddyfight Area v0.98 it gives me the notification that a new official version has been launched, but that's clearly not the case. Help please.
