The promise was probably a promise that Ren would keep quiet about the Quatre Knights and Aichi. The Quatre Knights were probably chosen for lasting the longest without being Reversed during the Link Joker invasion, and they decided to honor Ren, but he probably declined and so they swore him to secrecy or they would just erase his memories/cast Judgement on him.

For those who want to use Misaki as an excuse to poke a hole in my theory, I dunno, I guess plot demanded that they only take Aichi?

Finally, some non-Reverse support for Link Joker. I'm not a fan of Halcium, and I can't wait to see what kind of support my favorite clan gets.

I prefer Legion to Limit Break, since I don't have to wait till I'm at 4 damage to start making my big plays, and I love the idea of having 2 Vanguards attacking side by side. I love using Sin Buster so much, but I can see why people dislike it. Limit Breaks have been fun for me, but I think its time for Legion to shine. I'm not saying Limit Breaks can't defeat Legions, but I think the game needed a new mechanic to keep things fresh, since we've already had 2 seasons of Limit Breaks.
