We already got the royal paladin revival, it was Alfred.

I'm curious about how they'll revive Maelstrom/Glory now. They didn't go the ult break enabler route for this like I thought they would, instead going for an eternal front row crusher, which is pretty cool

Makes me wonder if they'll do something with regular maelstrom to make his Limit break go off easier, or just add a condition to it.

First off, I didn't once say I was running this solely for a g2 rush. It works good both on G2 turn and after G2 turn.
Second, I don't like basil at all since one they have a 10k vg I can't hit it, so this works much better since it can still hit any non crossridden g3 (That also isn't exculpate or MLB)
Third, I'm not sure how precious CB will be with new aqua, but unless I was playing Tetra Drive or Breakride Burst It was rare I would run out of CBs in my Aqua decks. So I'm not too worried about it. And they still have the SB 2 unflip 2 if I need it.
And Lastly, your preferences, while they make a fair point, have nothing to do what I should and should not play.

It doesn't look flawed at all, honestly. Yeah Link Joker/Kagero/Narukami could probably ruin the field set up, but I don't think that really will matter much in the long run.

A 7k booster that has the ability to make itself 9k just by having a few clones, which would be easily generated by stride, is actually pretty great. It'd be like having a backrow of dandelion, only not needing to shuffle your deck every turn to use it.

On top of that, these new units don't necessarily change the basis that NN already had built up. If the new ones seem flawed to you, just run the old ones with stride. New cards in a clan don't make the whole clan weaker, if they don't improve it, it just stays the same.

Basically, stride over chrono jet, return one for free
Preform legion, return one and unflip
Hit with the lost edge or w.e, return on and unflip
Hit with Chronos command, soul blast 3 return their whole field
Chronojet+Mystery flare works even better now, sicne you can actually afford to use jet's heart beat.

This works really well with Starless, actually. Both would be 12k swings, with one being able to unflip

That's true but, when we already have a card that can gain power when it stands without Counterblasting or potentially milling our triggers, this just doesn't seem nearly as practical.

...I'm almost afraid of what the G-Unit's will be, if this is what the G Break is. This is literally insane, far better than what Chrono and Shion got.

It gives actual field advantage without losing the hand and it's G Break basically says "Let's Platina every turn guys".

Though this is freaking beautiful, I can't believe they thought it was a good idea

Well don't forget that Starless and Milos don't work with G-Units or Maelstrom (Unless Maelstrom gets legion revived)
Hoping the G-Units, Heart Beats, and Gen breaks will be top tier though.
