[BF] [Magic World] BAAAACKDRRROOOOPPPP!!!

Buddy - Shiny Asmodai
Flag - Magic World
Size 1's
(15)
4x Shiny Asmodai (This unit is amazing. It lets you shove all of your Asmodai units back into your deck, enabling more consistent backdrop damage. This card makes the deck viable.)
4x Demon Lord, Asmodai (Staple. If you ditch an Asmodai, it can be shoved back to deck with Shiny. You can also declare a target, have them protect it with a spell, then choose not to discard because Bushiroad made these rules silly.)
4x Let's Play, Asmodai (Another Asmodai. Not that great of an effect, but we'll take what we can get.)
3x Demon Doctor, Buer (Sadly, not an Asmodai. But he enables Backdrop plays by giving us a gauge. And he's adorable. And his shoes don't match. At least on the feet that he's wearing shoes.)
Size 2's
(8)
4x Dance, Asmodai (Pay 1 gauge to draw one when it enters. Loads the drop up with more Asmodais. Fishes for Backdrop. 6k power and 2 crit make it a nice beater compared to all of your 1 crit units.)
4x Super Tough, Asmodai (Don't call this unit unless you're fighting a Seiger player. Just let it go. It's here for one reason only, because of its name. 3 gauge is too much.)
Size 3's
(4)
Champion Wrestler, Asmodai (2 gauge to get as many discard-to-destroy abilities as you would like to trigger. 9k power, 2 crit, double attack make it a nice damage dealer and field clearer. Lack of soulguard and 1k defense makes him a lackluster option for defense.)
Items
(4)
4x Gunrod, Bechstein (Del Ges can work, but if your center is opened, the extra power on Bechstein can help clear better. You also have 15 1 crit monsters, and the rest are 2 crit, so Del Ges' effect isn't that great here.)
Spells
(15)
4x Nice One! (I like cards.)
4x Magical Goodbye (Lets us recycle backdrops with Demon Lord, Asmodai or life gain with Let's Play, Asmodai. Even card draw with Dance, Asmodai. Or gauge with Buer. Versatile, since this is a largely on-call deck.)
3x Chillax! (Staple no-ouchie-me-please.)
2x Solomon's Shield (Good for protecting your creatures, as they have low defense, so they won't be link attacked often, if ever.
2x Key of Solomon, 1st Volume (A [Counter] speed gauge 2. Last-ditch resort to trigger Backdrop. Not a big fan of it as it's a minus to play for the gauge, but if that's the difference between backdropping or not, it's worth it.)
Impacts
(4)
Asmodai Eternal Rolling Backdrop (This is, pay 3 gauge. Reveal the top 5 cards of your deck. Deal 1 damage + 1 more damage per Asmodai revealed this way. This means it does between 1-6 damage. We have 28 Asmodais in this deck. That means we'll average just under 3 Asmodai units per impact for 4 damage. However, we can severely inflate our odds by using Shiny, Asmodai's skill to shuffle any Asmodais we've got in our drop zone back to deck. This should reasonably average out to just over 4 damage per impact, making it cheap and efficient. The best part is that there's no field or life requirements to play this. You get bonus points if you double backdrop.)
Not too much needs to be said outside of the individual card's extra text. You play this like it's Magic World. You draw some cards, backdrop some monsters, bonk some players for laughably low damage. They get to 5 damage and think they're safe. You bonk them for one more. They think they're safe. Final Phase, they're dead. Whoooo
It's like Punisher, only with different counterplay options, less gauge cost, more consistency, but it has to be built around, so you have a bunch of 1 crit creatures. Is the trade-off worth it? Probably. So long as you... Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'.

well then
I'd say max Buer and maybe more Solomon's Shield over Chillax. Chillax helps you live longer though, or both are nice. Surprised you don't have Devil Advantage though..
I'd also make Demon Lord Asmodai or Buer your buddy to make your opponent wonder if you're playing Asmodai the deck or just regular 72 Pillars.

Devil Advantage kind of contradicts what Shiny Asmodai wants to do. It can hurt Let's Play as well. It also costs a gauge that I'm more than likely not willing to play. If Backdrop milled instead of revealed, I'd say it might have room, but sadly, it doesn't.
Goodbye is essentially a Solomon's Shield with more versatility in options. My split looks more like 6 attack negates, 3 damage negates.
As for the buddy question, I want them to know they're getting suplexed. They need to dread it. They need to fear it.

I never thought of Goodbye working like that in ratios, I'm usually trying to save my monsters more with it. And I see what you mean with Shiny. Though, it
could
let you reuse two suplexes and
then
you call Shiny, but that feels too situational.
those mad suplexes doe
