Typically a confidant among his group of friends, but rarely talks about himself unless asked. Often described as a saint, he vocally objects to being called that. He is often seen as innocent as his expression can be described as friendly, but only faintly. He's very easily embarrassed and is easily amazed. His eyes light up whenever something a goal he wants comes in sight. He wears a thin smile and sleeping eyes normally, but on the inside a flame burns inside. While he is friendly, he can be unstable due to prior events in his life. However, once somebody dares to threaten his or his friends life, he becomes a completely different person. His mind becomes steadfast and known to be terrifying, even to his friends. The nickname "Seraphim" has stuck with him, known as being a loyal warrior, dedicated to his ideals. However once darkness strikes, he will strike back harder and faster than the bow of an angel or the tongue of the devil.Bio: SpoilerHaruka Nakahara was born to a poor family, but an honest family. They never took money from the rich and still tried to help the poverty-ridden when needed. One day, Haruka's father, Tatsuya Nakahara, had to go to work rather early. He worked several miles away as a construction worker in a shady part of the city. They needed the money badly, so he took on a second job at night. However upon getting home one morning, around 5:30 AM, he was called back quickly to the site. He returned home that afternoon covered in lashes and scars. His clothes were torn and his body was beat up. Before Haruka could see the monstrosity, his mother hurriedly told him to stay in his room. It felt like hours, but all Haruka could hear was crying. The tears of his mother resounded through the halls. His father wailed in agony as she cleaned his scars and wound. There were also nails in his hands and feet. The other workers must have tortured him. He never heard from his mother and father again. As Haruka told to stay in his room, he set his volleyball while laying on his bed. It calmed him down a great deal. His breathing became sort of heavy and the room felt warmer than usual. After a couple of minutes, he felt himself start to sweat. He thought maybe his mother was cooking, considering her crying had stopped. Haruka went over to open his door, but as the door knob burnt his hand as he went to turn it. His eyes widened with terror. He clenched his teeth as he rammed his shoulder into the door. Once, twice, three times. By the fifth try, his shoulder was bruised and burning up. The seventh try knocked the door down and flattened it across the hall. Smoke began to slowly fill the room, as the orange and red tint of flames were burning around him. He ran downstairs, covering his eyes with his arm. He yelled for his father and mother, but nobody answered. He searched the kitchen and living rooms first and found nobody. He ran across the hall to see a broken window. They got out, he thought. He quickly escaped through that window to find nobody was there. Nobody was waiting for him. He ran out front of the house, bleeding and covered in soot, to see armed police lining up his street. They took him into custody as they searched the house. The fire department was in around the same time. They asked him questions that all came as a long blur of nothing. All Haruka really remembers from that day is the fire, the missing parents, and the feeling of dread that is losing somebody. He moved in with his older sister who had already moved out. She was a bit better off, marrying into a decent relationship. They welcomed Haruka with open arms. He was 9 then. Several years later, he finds himself playing Cardfight!! Vanguard, a game that meant more to him than Volleyball did when he was a child. He was uses his uncle's deck which he inherited after learning the game. He also befriended her little sister and the National Champion, Hana. These people helped shape Haruka into the person he is, a passionate and easily fired up Cardfighter, now with a hardened resolve and the want to help others, and to take on anybody and anything standing in the way of his goals. If something is out of his reach, he'll just have to push past his limits and stand back up for a Round 2.
