no, if you use legion your unit must not be legioned in order to use it. understand now ? its another requirement in addition to your opponents vg need to be a g3 to use legion.

The new ruling for this is that if the tourney your holding for this event is Clan Fight, you may only play 4BD in a RP deck. If the tourney is Holding a Extreme Fight/Normal Fight Clan Mixing is Okay and is not breaking any ruling. Its really just 2 different kinds of Fights each having their own ruling sorta like OCG/TCG if you wanna make that a thing. With regards to the number of info that have been given, Superior ride Sing Saver Dragon and Blaster Joker Retire mate skill. The answer is clearly YES u are allowed to use LEGION20000 and seek the mate**IF THE MATE HAS BEEN RETIRED**. However, you are still not allowed to return 4 cards from drop**IF MATE IS NOT RETIRED**. Basically means if you alr have a MATE, you cant use the LEGION20000 skill. however, If your MATE is retired and for the particular unit that hasn used LEGION 20000 since it didn use LEGION20000 to Legion with the mate, You may use the skill to Legion a MATE.I know that currently a lot of infomation given by bushiroad and most aren't consistent (Eg.Dr.O twitter post and now this answer.) but yea this is by far the latest info i have gotten and maybe it can finally resolve some issues. Thanks -Access
As long as the new Grade 3 hasn't Legioned since it's been in the Vanguard Circle, it can perform Legion.

But the new ruling is more of. As long as the new G3 that has been in the VC has not used the skill LEGION 20000 and do not have a MATE, you can LEGION.

So wouldn't you be able to just legion again anyway?
Yea I understand where yr coming from. But i think u got that impression since i kinda didn explain that well. When i mean SSSD, what i meant was the SSSD that Soul Legion. thus since its a new Unit that hasn perform LEGION20000, it can perform LEGION20000 and Legion after Blaster Joker has retired its mate. For Black Boy's case its more on the lines of. When you Legion via Black boy's skill, the G3 unit that u ride and perform LEGION is considered to not have used LEGION 20000 therefore, same ruling applies with SSSD when it Soul Legioned. since it hasn used LEGION 20000 skill, it may Legion if Blaster Joker retires its mate. thats practically what im try to say as a whole. its more along the lines of the Exception ways to LEGION and their ruling with regards to Blaster Joker's retiring skill. Finally as a side note. The ruling for "Can I use SSSD Legion20000 skill and return 4 from drop and not seek the mate since i already Soul Legioned one? as I have not used SSSD Legion20000 skill to perform Legion" *This applies to any G3 unit that Legion via Black boy's skill. The current/latest answer for that is NO. reason being is that when yr VG has a mate, it cannot perform the LEGION20000/21000 skill according to bushiroad. However, you will still be able to use the LEGION20000/21000 if your mate has been retired as you have not used the LEGION20000/21000 skill once therefore is able to ACT it. which is kinda the example/ruling explained above.
