Since this site doesn't have much for tournaments or anything like that, or a chat to talk to people or anything for help with learning the game, I thought I'd advertise this site here.
They have weekly tournaments, member's can make their own, has a local chat, discussions on new cards, tips, pretty much what a forum should be. So far there is only around 10 activate people and 20-30 people who rarely come on. Looking to increase activity.

To be honest, we could have weekly tournaments if people would be willing to host them, and anyone here can make a tournament. It also wouldn't be too hard to set up a chat for this site, either.

Also advertising is generally against forum rules and it generally peeves me too.

I know, but this site seems plain, dead, boring. We need a better way of communication. So far we have an average of 4-5 members online on this site.
I dislike the organization of this forum, just giving people a better one.

That's why this place is dead. No one likes it.
Go to any other forum for any game and it'll be 10x better at the least.
Is it that bad that I want people to have a better forum? I did this for the community.

No, doing this hurts the budding community here, and merely drags part of it to your special place. Do you hear me? This forum has been around for a month. It's the official Area forum, and you'll just have to deal with it. I find that forum visually unappealing anyway. It's messier than this one, the banner's mediocre, and the colour scheme is too dark, to name a few of my minor gripes.

Oh, and if you're doing it for that "VP" or whatever, then that just makes you even worse in my books ;o good luck getting respect from admins and that jiggy.

I could care less for VP because it's useless.
Also, I honestly don't care for the respect of admins.

1. This site is a paid site with server, domain (though Simple Machine template is indeed free).
2. This is CFA's official site.

From these facts, it would be better if you suggest the people in that site to move here instead.
No hard feeling and stuffs, that's my honest opinion.

And... Forumotion is really easy to edit and stuffs so sometimes people go overboard in editing their site... I did it once with my forumotion as well...

Forum looks trashy, Devour is a shitty mod who wouldn't let me say goodbye to an old team mate on his teams thread and what not, so far, so much dislike for me.

the Academies site is rather dead but looks far better, personally (apart from mist) I'd say the best way is bring over there mods, site builders and put them to work here as this site has more members, just not the people with the attitude to make tournaments and what not (bar a few).

The Academy has a far better attitude and better system, I'd rather people go there than here but I am sure there is some middle ground somewhere like this site being some meet up place and the academy turning into some competitive league with ground rules or something.

but it would be nice if someone did something with the layout of this site as it's not pretty on the eyes.

Firstly, of course i deleted your posts since they're irrelevent to the thread and were insulting (Don't forget your insults on the PM) so, that's denied.
Also, just because you're more accustomed to the site doesn't mean it's better. I've witnessed several other sites trying to rebuild what was once NEUS, but it didn't work that much. Also, as Yata already said, this is the official forum of Cardfight Area. Thusly i don't think it's smart to just go to sites recruiting people for something that hasnt been approved if there already is an official forum. In time, this forum will "evolve" as well, as you can see it started by adding tournament area and team area and just recently the Card/Deck discussion area. And once again, i suggest that you watch your language because vulgarity won't get you anywhere (as i've already said trough PM after your "assault on me"). Have a nice day.

saying goodbye to a former team is not irrelevant.

Just because this site is official means nothing to me, if CFVA was official it would still mean nothing.

Honestly, who needs approval anyway? it's probably only a matter of time before Area is lieing next to CFC (hopefully not) as it is an unofficial game, if you can show proof that Bushi is cool with area I'll value the validity of this site.

and still, my points stand: better attitude, system and layout at CFVA, instead of getting arsy with me about it, try and adopt what makes them better and blow them out of the water.
