Well this is the first episode NOT worth watching my opinion.
I'm a bit upset in the beginning of this episode and if your a Granblue fan you probably be worse maybe even livid. But then again Jamie has "#plotarmorexcuse" so whatever. Oh he drives? Well this narrows down his age quite a bit. He actually looks cool doing it. Other then that. Worst start to a episode this season.

The main half of the episode itself... Well... Nothing new basically. We did see cool looking golds but other then that nothing. No Skills at all and all we got is something that should have been in episode 1. Tutorials... However At least Taiyou Asukawa that was learning the game this episode is more memorable then any other side character we've had so far well not counting Kumi and the couple from the last episode that used spikes but yea. It's sad we may never see Taiyou again but he will always be in my(Our?) hearts. Good luck Taiyou.

Shin has a Mura deck for whatever reason and Misaki has Tsuku and Genesis Stides. Major Respect has been re earned Misaki. You truly never forgot Oracles. Really happy for this.

In my opinion, this is one of the best tutorial episodes done so far regarding *tutorial* episodes.
It didn't skip over too many steps, described how boosting worked, explained the stride mechanic, and felt thorough.

Problems with tutorial
-doesn't explain the abilities of cards enough.
-twin drive not explained.
-g-assist not used for explanation sake.
-draw trigger not explained.
-Limit break and Legion not explained, but can be located in other tutorial episodes. *Refer to second episode of Legion Mate Arc if needed for education purposes*
-Tokoha and Kiba kept interrupting.
-Counterblasts and Soul not explained.
-Doesn't explain that you need equal or more damage than your opponent to heal.

I have literally no idea what was going on in this episode, but G has my interest again. Because Yuichiro and Ibuki are the best characters in all of Vanguard. Forget Ren, this guy is the proper lord of Shadow Paladin. Ren can go keep being Batman.

This guy's ham is incredible. Aurageyser is potentially very stupid, Clarent Sword is ENORMOUS, Tachikaze got bodied again (confirmed punching bag clan), Tohoka's parents are adorable, and just goddamn Yuichiro's hair deserves a medal. It put Ren's to shame instantly.

The rebel Shadow Paladin faction is glorious and so is JAM Project's return.

Saya is pretty Overpowered. This episode made me laugh so much. A epic pairing is born. Best episode we had in a while and it wasn't even a filler episode. xD

Rest in peace to the best cardfight villain we ever had in my opinion. Even better then Ren in my opinion. Yuichirou Kanzaki you and your horse will be missed. May your horse forever defy physics and logic. Also hopefully one day Kanzaki revive in a future season.

Also Chrono Jet punching powers are absolutely amazing.

Meh the 3-0 was a bit much, but I mean Chrono vs Leon was semi justified. Leon got all his wins from sack/lol psyqualia so it's fair that he gets sacked back in return righttt. Maybe it was a bit early for it, but it's no less BS imo then most of the g-fights. If anything I find it worse that they didn't even show properly what Ripples do. 2-1 win or something like that would have been more reasonable.
