While the Grade 1 Cray Elemental is interesting, Strikehead Dragon isn't anything worth flipping out over. It makes your waves stronger but you'd rather have Savas' Critical stacking/Tom swing. Your cards are already standing plenty on their own and Magum/Tidal Assault have mandatory clauses so the second skill being put on them is useless.

I would have to disagree.

Strikehead would mean that even if you don't have access to a rear that would give you a 4th attack. This will do the trick fine. It's the best backup Savas can have. Not to mention how about giving Tidal Assault a free +3k if you don't stride and able to hit 11k vanguards when they are on 5.

Savas crit + tom skill is mediocre at best. Savas is best for its on stride skill. For the GB2 skill it's really bad and I'd rather have Strikehead that does the trick. It's GB1 as well so If i don't have stride access after Tidal Bore. I can just do 21k vanguard swing without a problem

You'll never have access to Magnum and Tidal 100% of the time.

I agree it's Savas' best backup but I still stand by Savas being generally superior. While pressuring them with infinite waves, blocking out their guard potential at the last swing nets you a win. Especially when they have to stop it if they're sitting on four. This is still nothing to flip out over.

Unless you're very unlucky and your regular drive checks, normal draws, and triple drives don't give you at least one copy of one of them, you'll have one.

With Area. I have them both maxed out. and more than 40% of the time I generally don't get one and I lose cause I don't have any rear guard support access.

Then again this generally the case when I play against Abyss so I get ticked off with that luck.
