Hello world.

I'm posting this thread because...well... why not?
Here we can talk about (current) events that happen in the anime and address game/CFA changing elements introduced.

I'll start by discussing my opinion on the newest episode, as of right now, episode 172.
So, in the anime, Ratti is using Shadow Paladins instead of the thought to be Neo Nectars, despite her thorny prison (as well as my hopes and dreams), but with these new shadow paladins, a new mechanic is introduced. Ratti's SP cards can replace existing units on her opponent's field with grade 0's from the deck and drop zone. This left me thinking as to how this mechanic could be implemented in CFA. Her legion skill allows her to look at the top 10 cards of her opponent's deck (presumably without them seeing) and replace 2 units on the field  with  2 grade 0's from the stack. The bind function on CFA wouldn't really work, so I guess for now, mill would have to be used instead.

On a side note, I don't really like Ratti's character. Sure, she's somewhat enjoyable when she's acting all innocent, but it isn't really worth it to me if its all just an act. As for Sera, well..... he doesn't really have much of a personality. :/

Yeah, I'm pumped for it too! I'm happy Kamui is getting more screen time and becoming more of a main character this season. I'm just a little sad that Yggdrasil might lose on her debut :/. I hope Bushiroad doesn't make Misaki start to lose (a lot) again. I understand she had a perfect streak last season.... But still. Lol

Actually, i was thinking about making this a sub forum of Discussion, so that we can post threads for each episode, simmilar like it is on Neo Ark Cradle (NAC). There might be a lot of threads, but then again, more space and no mixing! Still gotta Ask Rem about this, though.

OT: Personally, this episode was awesome, since i love Shaladins since they came out, and i love Ratie's personality so much, everything apart of that "HANYARAAAAA" thing which creeped the hell outta me and is just plainly annoying. e.e But, the witch subclan seems interesting overall. As a Shaladin user, it'd be disgrace not to try it at least, so that's it on that.
I'm pretty much hyped over Yggdrasil aswell, since she originally comes from NN, so that's a thing. o.o
And the deck hiding of Cera is just pissing me off. If you're gonna introduce a new clan Bushi, say it before you show it in an episode, damn it. If it ain't, it's probably GB/AQ/Star Gate clan/Murakumo Ice Archtype. Or so I believe.

That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. It'll definitely help with navigation if it were organized.



I really like the way the witches work, and I'm happy Nemain might be getting some love from them as well. But I think Revengers are still getting support as well introducing the "Abyss" cards so Shadows are getting major love this season (so far).

Cera is just so.... ugh! Whatever it is he's using it won't be released until next set (probably) unless he's using NN which I doubt because of the ice theme... but who knows lol.

On a completly random (but still relevant) note, I didn't like the fact that they decided to play LIMIT BREAK for Kenji this time on his turn. Two seasons ago when they played the first OP, it was fine with me; in fact, it was optimal for such a crucial moment in Koutei's cardfighting career to see him finally defeat his rival in such an epic way. But this time, I just felt it wasn't needed, especially for some no-name like Ratie who was just introduced to us. It felt.... overdone. :/

Starting to really lose all idea on your gender now xD

but the Hanryaaa is annoying, if it was a different sound, similar but cuter it would be cool, I like Cera, he looks like the sort of guy who doesn't really care all that much.

I was. I was reeeeally expecting her to use the new Musketeers, but the moment I saw that starting vanguard, I knew something was up.

I still like the witch support (as stated above) and might consider using Shadow Paladins just because of them.

Me too, to be honest, I couldn't give two craps about SP, they were just emo paladins to me, but seeing this new archetype, has me interested, at least in 'that' side of SP.
