"I think you both have me confused." he retorted while closing his eyes. He sharply opened his pale blue eyes, fixing his gaze on Satoshi.
"You said that you're friends with the cards? That is what I find ridiculous." He looked down over his shoulder, having a melancholy expression. "They're nothing more than just cards." Jellal said in a low tone.
"Even if you could 'talk' to your cards, it's not needed, because at the end of the day..." his voice trailed off as he turned back to both Yukino and Satoshi. "The person who's fighting will always be you, no one else." he stated in a cold tone while reaching into his back pocket grabbing his deck.

"I'm not the type of fighter to sport a solitary mentality, or the type of woman in general", she spoke for herself. This actually granted the Royals a bit of a peace of mind. She was an arrogant snob, but Hikari very much accepted that she wouldn't be here without them. In the midst of the conversation, some peon thought he was involved in it when Satoshi asked for a name.
That was cute.
"He's not talking about you, he's speaking to the one who addressed us. The blonde one whose name I'd like to know as well."

After waiting the rest of the day on that bench, eating lunch and playing a few games on his mobile, the guy Haruki fought never showed up. The sun was nearly down so he thought now was a good time as ever to head home for the night. He strolled past a group of people he recognized from Card Capital that looked like they were having an interesting talk while on his way to the train station. With a tune in his head and a song in his heart, this boy knew that he'd find that mysterious guy eventually.

Jellal took out his deck, and looked at it. He concentrated every ounce of his being into the card he knighted as his avatar: Blaster Dark. He looked up at the snow-haired woman who inquired his name. Never before has anyone ever inquired on his name. Normally, the blonde haired boy would tell and be done with it. However, not this time, something sparked him: he wasn't sure what it was but he knew he had to figure it out.
"You said you was chosen one right?" he asked while raising his eyebrow. "If the cards are your friends, then show me what they can do. If you win, I'll tell you my name. Deal?"

Hana exited the Card Capital, looking for her sister Yukinee as it was getting quite late. She saw her in the distance along with a few other unfamiliar faces, they were fighters it seems, but she couldn't quite put a finger on what kind of relationship they had with her sister, positive or negative.
"Your sister probably set them off!!! Uguu~" Pacifica pointed out.
"You be quiet Pacifibaka!" Hana attempted to silence her.
Nonetheless, she had found her sister whom she has been looking for since they had finished their fight today at the Card Capital tournament. The reason she was looking for her sister? She had cooked omelettes for dinner. They were getting cold and she needed her sister home before it got too dark outside, or before the eggs got cold. Nothing is worse than cold eggs. She watched in the distance as her sister seemingly prepared to cardfight one of the stranger dangers.

Hikari noticed very quickly the intensely of this man's "glance" toward his deck, probably a specific card. Something about it honestly brushed Blaster Blade the wrong way, and he attempted to warn his Vanguard of this premonition. Of course, she wasn't going to listen. There was a curious, dark, and lonely air about this fighter. Though, there was also strength behind it, which was the main factor that interested her.
That, and he won her over by acknowledging that she was the chosen one.
You know, people one day are going to have to stop making the mistake of giving her excuses to flex her ego.
"Deal. You must be someone special if I have to fight for your name. So this'll be worth the effort", she accepted, a giddy excitement showering over her. She armed herself with her deck, putting the cell phone away, and motioning the challenger to come back into Card Capital to use one of their tables.

Satoshi followed, since he too was a bit interested in what this whole "chosen one" thing was about. Couldn't everyone talk to their cards? After all, some girl off in the distance had been mumbling to some entity called "Pacifibaka." Maybe Pacifibaka was her ace. That sounded pretty cool in his head.

Ighanna stared blankly outside her car, her driver heading towards a large concert hall. The sight of a girl being followed by a guy caught her attention and so she quickly yelled at her driver to stop the car immediately. Without consensus from her manager, she quickly jumped out of the car, hoping to catch the stalker however sunglasses weren't enough of a disguise and soon waves of people towered over her. Fortunately most of them were her fans.
"Please help me catch that filthy stalker desu desu" she pleaded to the crowd, not realizing Satoshi was just a mere follower.
As soon as the crowd headed of like the Women's March on Versailles, she hopped back onto the car and drifted as fast as the wind to keep the girls in company. She rolled down the back windows but the girls have already entered the cardshop. With an extremely worried mind she quickly opened the door, not realizing that this was the very same card game she played long time ago.

After telling Yukino his award name, Jellal collected all of his cards into their original stack, all except one, in his hand: Blaster Dark. He stared at it then stared back at Yukino's Blaster Blade. For the first time, he felt a sudden surge from these cards, yet were in her hands. He looked back to held Blaster Dark and felt nothing but a hollow emptiness. He placed Blaster Dark back into his original position as the cover of the deck and approached Yukino.
"Even though you've beaten me, it still doesn't change that being able to talk to the cards, or even the thought of it is a ridiculous notion." he said in a defensive tone. "Things like that will only get in the way of the actual fighting." He walked away from the group slowly while sliding his deck in his back pocket.
"Comrades and friends... eventually, they'll drag you down. And when they do, it's best to cast them off before it's too late."
Overall he enjoyed the cardfight despite missing his ride chain and kept drawing his triggers due to his reckless greedy of Skull Witch Nemain, however he held his own for the most part.
Yukino +1 Alignment (for being a good fighter)

fitting music
Jellal Kisaragi.
Upon the sixth damage check, as promised, Hikari learned his name. Unfortunately, she had never heard of it before. But at the same time, that only made her all the more curious as to what type of man he is, and why he couldn't give his name without a hassle. Even more so, the blatant contrast of the two fighters was beyond margin. The power of friendship against the power of sacrifice. If the child of light was being honest, the minute she saw "Phantom Blaster Dragon", it sent chills down her spine. She wasn't even remotely ready to witness it slaughter its own comrades... no, pawns for a massive power gain.
And then there was the sword of blackness that didn't arrive on the battlefield to fight. "Blaster Dark", a soldier who looked exactly like Blaster Blade, only in darker armor, wielding a much larger sword.
Yukino spaced out, lost in the thought of these Shadow Paladins... Alfred told her that Phantom Blaster is the Dragon of Hell that blights of the Sanctuary... And Shadow Paladins are wanted criminals, traitors and terrorists in the Holy Nation.
Why does this guy even have a clan like that?
"Call me-"
Before she could speak, Blaster Blade forced her to speak her chosen name: "Hikari". Yukino wanted to choke her Avatar, but for some odd reason, didn't really feel compelled to say anything else. Maybe it was better that she was known as "Light" toward the wielder of the black knights. Was it a threat? Or was it some form of warmth. Perhaps a challenge of fate toward them. The woman's head was heavy, beginning to feel exhausted from this encounter alone, not even paying much mind to the other events around her, let alone her own sister with omelets.
He left before she could really respond to him still rejecting the thought of communication with Cray.
That game was something else, but Yuki could tell very easily that Jellal was handicapped by a lack of checking triggers. He stated that Phantom Blaster was not at "100%" at the time, indicating that he was further hindered...
She only wishes she could ask where he got those cards and why he doesn't believe in his comrades... And that she could see him when he isn't disrupted by his deck not cooperating.
Jellal +1 Affinity

Meanwhile...
"What in tarnation are y'all---GET OFFA ME!"
Satoshi had been jumped by a mob of people claiming him to be a stalker, getting pulled up into their collective hands like he was crowd-diving to carry him off.
"PUT ME DOWN, AH HAVEN'T DONE A THING! AH'M A FRIEND DARNIT!"

Having just left the train station after having just fought Cero--Screamo--kun, Hana ran into her best friend Miyuki, whom she invited to tag along to go shopping for cards! Since cards were on sale, they thought! They ended up sitting down for a Cardfight or as the now see it, another "rehearsal."
Each practice puts an idol closer to being able to capture everyone's hearts.
They both had tons of fun! A natural disaster was forecasted on the news, leading Hana to ask Miyuki to ASSIST her in searching for Pacifica. They then went to the ice cream parlour where Miyuki got a multi-colored ice cream combo, green and yellow, it was the daily special, called the Shuplu-Flow! Hana on the other hand ordered a simple VANILLA ICE CREAM.
Miyuki and Hana head together to the Card Capital Tournament!

Seeing the same girl that was stalked yesterday, Ighanna approaches to get a closer look at her and her friend, realizing they were actually idols, meanwhile I'm a pop star. My friend in the industry, a Victoria Secret Angel once talked about them and how they were very "kawaii" and stuff. At least now that we know that we both have mutual friends, we quickly became friends and they invited me to the cardshop, since it was a free day for me I was inclined to agree.

Leaving the Train Station and approaching Card Capital, the snow queen was in a daze. Hikari let the memories of Shadow Paladin soak in, along with meeting a man whose eyes change color during a fight, another user of Soul Saver and Royals, and yet another person who can communicate with Cray. Not a lot happened yesterday from a normal person's viewpoint, yet, the woman was still perplexed nonetheless. In the midst of this disorientation, she looked up at Card Capital. The "event" for collecting stamps barely crossed her mind now. Yukino found herself more interested in learning about the people around here, figuring out what makes them unique like herself.
Then again, going in and participating in said event would help her meet more people.
But she just didn't feel the contest was important anymore.
