(GS3) Field: Destroyed Shopping District

Back in the shopping district yet again, it was like the pair could live here. Even after going home though, neither of them considered changing out of their school uniforms, the female brushing the edges of her skirt lightly. "W-well.. hm... I'm not really sure... They're probably buffets around here somewhere, but I could just go for just a nice, simple, sit-down dinner... Something with... really good beef... or fish. Fish is good... Are there any seafood places around?" Rosalia asked. She glanced to her companion, more so forcing herself to than anything else. It was like, for every minute they were spending together, the more things got tense between them, as if they were striving for the last granules in an hourglass for just a moment more.. a moment longer where things could be normal.. But why did it have to change at all?..

At the mention of seafood, Seifer looked over his companion but quickly looked back forward, pointing out a sign that seemed like it was a sit down seafood diner. "I... I think there would be fine? If... You're okay with it?" he asked, walking ahead and leading Rosalia toward it. He still wasn't sure why he was so antsy and tense. He didn't know why the air felt like this, just that it did. It sort of bothered him and yet, with her, just being with her just felt right. His chest felt tight as he sat down, waiting for the waiters to come about.

The redhead followed closely, and while her hands trembled, she clutched them tightly so that she could hide it. Hopefully, anyways. She didn't like this tenseness between them. They were just fine a few days ago... or even just yesterday... What happened between them that would change how easy the two could get along? Rosalia sat down across from Seifer just as any normal table of two would sit. A waiter walked over to give the pair menus, and to take drink orders. Rosalia ordered hot tea, like she had earlier in the day, simply because the sweetness could relax her. Once the waiter had taken Seifer's drink order and walked away, the female picked up her menu and started looking through it. "So... anything you think looks good?..." she asked, trying to start up a casual conversation. But her voice was softer than usual, and the air about them was awkward as it is.

"Just water please..." Seifer had ordered his drink just before the water left, taking the menu up and looking it over. "I uh... I like the idea of shrimp right now honestly... Mmmm..." as they started to talk about it though, he actually relaxed a little bit. This still felt right, and there was still a tense air about them but... It felt nice now, at least to him. He felt relaxed. "Hey the lobster looks good to... What do you think?" he asked, looking over the edge of the menu at the female across from him.

"Hm... Oh, look here. There's like, a big sampler meal. It's.. kinda expensive, but we could probably share it. It's got like, everything on it. Lobster and crab, shrimp three ways, even some salmon... Wanna try that? I can pay for half then if you'd like," Rosalia pointed out, tapping the selection on his menu. "And then it comes with desert too, unless you wanna stop somewhere else to get something.. or nothing at all. Maybe it'll be a lot more food than we think..." As she spoke, the stuttering became less apparent, though she did hesitate now and then, thinking carefully about what to say. But, she started to relax. It started to feel just like they were before; no awkward silence or avoiding each other's gaze. It was normal... kinda... There was still this unexplained tightness she felt, something that the more she thought about it, the more she became confused on just what it was.

Seifer looked where he finger pointed nodding in agreement. Yeah the sampler might be a good idea honestly. They could get some of everything it looked like. Just little portions. And they could both share and get what they wanted. Wait share? Whatever, it was nice just being like this. "Sure, and if we have room for desert I'll take you to get some fudge or ice cream or something." he smiled, folding his menu over and placing it on the table. They were ready to order, and while they were obviously very relaxed, the tightness stayed as well. He decided to ignore it since thinking about it would only frustrate him because he had no idea what it was or why it was there.

"Fudge? Or ice cream? How about fudge ice cream? Or ice cream with fudge topping... Ok, now I'm hungry," Rosalia admitted, twirling a thick curl between her fingers. As the waiter came back with their drinks, he took their order and walked off again, leaving the pair alone, save for any other patrons currently at the restaurant. Actually, it wasn't very crowded, so it was nice and quiet and relaxed. But while the pair were waiting for their meal, the redhead sipped at her tea, looking over the brunette. She wondered.. just what had changed... Was it the way one of them acted? Well, Rosalia was stepping more out of her shell by the day, but that wouldn't cause them to grow apart, would it? If anything, they would be closer, more open to each other... She sighed softly, her thoughts not getting her anywhere. "Hm.. So, hopefully you don't have homework tonight. You could have done it while I was practicing but.. yeah.."

"Uh... Yeah sure. Ice cream with fudge sounds nice." he admitted, already hungry, and actually looking forward to the prospect of desert after dinner. After they ordered and while they were waiting though, they started up a casual conversation about homework thanks to Rosalia, though it wasn't bad. "I actually don't have any again today... I did it all in class before the club meeting." that was his answer and it was true. He caught on quickly to the ideas and teachings pretty much shoved down his throat during his classes, which made it easier to do his work and homework faster and more accurately. "How about you, you don't have any right? ...Wait what am I saying? You'd of done it while we were at home wouldn't you?" he asked this question to keep the casual conversation going. It was relaxing after the amount of tension they had to just be regular. Or as regular as these two get. The feelings, the tightness, what had changed between them to cause the tension, but whatever it was stopped mattering. He was just happy that she was there with him.

"Heh, yeah. I would have done it after, or maybe before I started my violin practice. I got it done during class, some of it while I was on break, but I had spent most of my break finding the Orchestra club adviser for the audition music." Rosalia explained, happy that they were at least talking on a normal basis again, as normal as they were anyways. Given their order, it didn't take too terribly long for their food to arrive. Along with a rather... large... dish placed in the center of them, containing all the seafood delights, rice was accompanied in a second dish, and two bowls set in front of the pair. The waiter also topped off their drinks just in case before moving on to take care of any other tables. "Well, let's dig in?" The slight awkwardness returned, but she brushed it off, dishing herself first some rice, then taking a shrimp from the platter and chewing carefully. "O-oh~ It's actually really good!"

At the food that was brought, Seifer sweat dropped a little bit. There seemed to be a lot, but when she said it was good, and that they should dig in, he quickly made his own plate. He poured some of the soy sauce that was set on the table onto his plate and mixed it in with his food and rice, taking a bite and smiling. It really was good. Taking a few more bites he shut his eyes while enjoying the flavors of it. Swallowing that bite he took a drink of the water and looked around for a moment, relaxing. "It's really peaceful here. ...It's... Almost like a dream now that I think about it." he didn't catch how it sounded, nor would he care if he did. It was just to nice and relaxing, and he just spoke really without thinking. For him it no longer really felt awkward, and everything just felt... warm, nice.

"A dream?" Rosalia repeated, tilting her head a bit. She thought about it for a moment, glancing upwards at the ceiling as she took a piece of the crab meat to eat. She chewed slowly, thoughtfully, and swallowed before smiling to herself. "You're right... It is like a dream..." As if she had reached an epiphany, the female shut her eyes, savoring each moment of thought. Its more than a dream... like, a dream come true... Her entire body relaxed, eating slowly to enjoy each and every bite, each and every moment that passed, even in silence. She took a piece of fish with her rice, humming softly. "The fish and crab are really good too. Wanna try?" Now, this is where you're all thinking she's going to feed him, offering a bite of the crab with her chopsticks... Well, you'd be right. The redhead outstretched her arm, holding the bit of seafood carefully with a bright smile on her lips. "Say aaah?"

Seifer listened to her speak and hum, enjoying both the silence with her, and the way she broke the silence. It really was nice. But then the red head did something... Unexpected. She was going to feed him? He could just as easily taken it with his own chopsticks, but where's the fun in that? Instead, he leaned over with his face turned crimson and accepted the offer, taking the food off of her chopsticks and into his own mouth. Leaning back he chewed a bit before swallowing. "Yeah... It really is good..." his voice was just above a whisper. His chest warmed up again, and he was now pretty sure why, though he wasn't sure how he should express it, or even if he should. Actually here he didn't know anything to do. His face stayed a light shade of red, though most of it was now gone.

The redhead felt like her heart would burst out of her chest when the male complied, letting her feed him if just once. Rosalia giggled softly, her cheeks warm but not as dark as her hair would be. But it was one new thing after another. The female leaned forward herself, shutting her eyes. "My turn?... I don't care what I get. Maybe a shrimp or something," she said, not really whispering, but it wasn't like she was shouting either. They were still in a public restaurant, after all. And though she probably looked silly, it didn't stop Rosalia from waiting like that: eyes shut, and mouth open so she could eat whatever came along on the chopsticks.

She seemed like she was having fun with this, but he wasn't going to deny her. He just merely complied, grabbing a bit of shrimp, crab, and rice and holding it out for her to take. He was nervous and his hand was shaking just a bit. Was she teasing him in some way? She did seem kind of ridiculous, and yet... Cute at the same time. ...Beautiful even. The mere thought brought back the crimson glow, but he continued to keep his offer extended for her.

Rosalia took the bite graciously, leaning back in her chair normally as she chewed. She had gotten both shrimp and crab with the rice, and was having trouble not smiling. She had fed Seifer, and Seifer fed her. It was like they were a real couple, and after all the teasing all of their friends have done... The female's blush faded just slightly, more so because she was happy in it all, and it didn't seem quite as embarrassing anymore. "Hehe~ Thank you~" She took a few more bites herself, and thankfully didn't pull any more silly stunts until their dishes had been completely cleaned. "That looked like a lot of food... I don't think any single person could eat all of it, but we did pretty well with the two of us~ Did you wanna get desert here or somewhere else?"
